Abstract

This study investigates the impact of the guided inquiry learning model, augmented by PhET (Physics Education Technology) media, on the critical thinking skills and learning interest of sixth-grade students in Science subjects at Islamic elementary school, Jembrana, Indonesia. The research was prompted by the observed deficiency in both aspects, attributed to conventional, passive, and non-interactive pedagogical methods. Utilizing a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, the study divided subjects into two groups: an experimental class implementing PhET-assisted guided inquiry and a control class utilizing conventional methods. Data collection involved essay tests to measure critical thinking skills and Likert-scale questionnaires to assess learning interest. Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) results indicated that the integration of guided inquiry and PhET media significantly influenced students' critical thinking skills and learning interest. The experimental group demonstrated higher mean scores. PhET media effectively visualized abstract scientific concepts, making them more tangible and comprehensible, while the guided inquiry model stimulated analytical reasoning and active student participation. This combined approach proved effective in enhancing student outcomes in science education.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study analyzes the development of educational philosophy, focusing on the role of Christian philosophy of education in shaping a holistic, character-based educational paradigm compared to general educational philosophy. Methodology: The study uses a systematic literature review (SLR) method following the PRISMA 2020 protocol. Data were collected from Scopus, ERIC, Crossref, and Google Scholar, with publications from 2015 to 2025. The screening process yielded 22 eligible articles, which were analyzed using content analysis. Main Findings: General educational philosophy emphasizes rationality, empirical evidence, and humanism, fostering critical, adaptive learners. Christian philosophy integrates faith and reason, moral formation, and the teacher’s role as a spiritual and moral exemplar. Both share a holistic approach but differ in epistemological and axiological foundations, offering a balanced educational paradigm. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study provides a unique contribution by integrating Christian philosophy of education with general educational philosophy, promoting a balanced paradigm that nurtures both intellectual competence and spiritual, moral, and ethical development. It advances contemporary educational discourse by addressing the interplay between rationality and spirituality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis kedudukan anak luar kawin dalam hukum adat Bali, khususnya anak yang lahir dari perkawinan lokika sanggraha, serta meninjau implikasinya dalam konteks Putusan Mahkamah Agung Nomor 185/K/Kr/1978. Kajian difokuskan pada status hukum, hubungan kekerabatan, dan pengakuan hak anak luar kawin dalam struktur masyarakat adat Bali. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian hukum normatif dengan pendekatan peraturan perundang-undangan dan konseptual untuk menelaah pengaturan adat serta relevansinya dengan perkembangan hukum positif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara adat, anak luar kawin lokika sanggraha memiliki kedudukan lemah dan umumnya tidak diakui dalam garis kekerabatan ayah, terutama dalam hak waris, kecuali melalui pelaksanaan upacara adat tertentu. Namun, pada tinjauan Putusan Mahkamah Agung Nomor 185/K/Kr/1978 menunjukkan perkembangan hukum dengan memberikan pengakuan terhadap hak anak luar kawin sebagai ahli waris ibu dan membuka kemungkinan pemenuhan hak nafkah dari ayah berdasarkan pembuktian hubungan darah. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memperkuat wacana harmonisasi antara hukum adat Bali, perlindungan hak anak, dan prinsip hak asasi manusia dalam kerangka hukum nasional

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of internalizing character education values through Civic Education learning in the digital era, focusing on strategies and multidimensional collaboration in the school environment. The background of this research lies in the growing challenges of moral degradation and the decline of students’ social awareness due to excessive digital exposure. Using a descriptive qualitative method, the study collected data through interviews, observations, and documentation in a junior high school context. The findings indicate that teachers play a central role in integrating character values by combining digital learning platforms with contextual moral instruction. The use of digital media such as interactive videos, online discussions, and collaborative projects enhances students’ participation and strengthens their understanding of civic and ethical responsibilities. However, the study also found obstacles such as limited digital literacy among teachers and the inconsistent implementation of value-based learning. It is concluded that effective internalization of character education in the digital era requires synergy between teachers, parents, and the educational community supported by strong digital competence and moral guidance.

Abstract

This research aims to produce media, determine the validity and practicality of the media, and describe the effectiveness of developing domino card media on diversity (kado ragam) with Tri Hita Karana content to increase activity and learning outcomes in Pancasila Education. Development research type using the ADDIE model. The study subjects were students from SD N Renon Denpasar, comprising 30 students in class VA and 32 in class VB, along with four teachers serving as practitioners. The data collection methods are questionnaires and tests. The research instruments include media, materials, practicality, learning activities, and multiple-choice tests. The learning activity instrument was tested for validity and reliability. The learning outcome instrument was tested for validity, reliability, discrimination, and difficulty. Data analysis was performed using percentages, one-way ANOVA, and multivariate tests. The research results show that: Various gifts are presented in printed form, with media validity at 92.3%, material at 95.39%, and practicality at 86.05, which falls into the very practical category. The effectiveness results show statistical values for Pillai's Trace, Wilks' Lambda, Hotelling's Trace, and Roy's Largest Root, with an F-statistic of 83.280 and a significance level of 0.001. This value is smaller than the significance level of 0.05 (p < 0.05). Conclusion: The Kado Ragam media simultaneously influences Tri Hita Karana content on student activity and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi implementasi Permendikbudristek Nomor 16 Tahun 2022 tentang Standar Proses di Sekolah Dasar melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Fokus kajian meliputi dinamika perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran, kapasitas guru, kejelasan bahasa kebijakan, partisipasi pemangku kepentingan, serta mekanisme pengawasan dan evaluasi. Hasil kajian mengungkapkan bahwa kebijakan ini memuat asumsi idealistik terkait kesiapan guru untuk merancang pembelajaran diferensiatif, melaksanakan asesmen formatif dan reflektif, serta membangun suasana kelas berbasis nilai. Di lapangan, implementasi terhambat oleh kesenjangan infrastruktur antarwilayah, minimnya panduan teknis operasional, bahasa regulasi yang normatif, dan rendahnya pelibatan aktor pendidikan lokal. Selain itu, ketegangan antara otonomi sekolah dan standar nasional menimbulkan interpretasi yang beragam. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini merekomendasikan: (1) peningkatan kapasitas guru secara kontekstual; (2) penyusunan Pedoman Teknis Operasional sebagai lampiran kebijakan; (3) penguatan forum konsultatif komunitas pendidikan; dan (4) reformasi sistem monitoring dan evaluasi berbasis refleksi. Kajian ini menegaskan perlunya kebijakan pembelajaran yang adaptif, partisipatif, dan responsif terhadap kondisi lokal agar transformasi Kurikulum Merdeka dapat berlangsung efektif dan berkeadilan.

Abstract

The current problems are low student science literacy and fading cultural values. This research aims to develop learning media in the form of STEAM-infused comics containing Tri Hita Karana values to improve the science literacy of fifth-grade students on the ecosystem harmony material at SD Negeri 6 Penatih. Developmental research method using the ADDIE model. Data collection instruments used questionnaires to test validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The research results show that this comic meets excellent criteria, as evidenced by the validation results from content experts, media experts, design expert, and language experts. The practicality test conducted by teachers showed very satisfactory results with a percentage of 98%. The practicality test results for students obtained a percentage of 94.51%, indicating that this comic is very practical and well-received by students. The effectiveness test results thru pretest and posttest showed a significant improvement in students' science literacy with a significance value (p < 0.001) and a high effect size (Cohen's d = 3.208). In conclusion, STEAM-loaded comics and Tri Hita Karana are effective in improving the science literacy of fifth-grade elementary school students. The implications are positive, such as increased student interest in science thru culturally relevant approaches, as well as potential long-term impacts in the form of improved science literacy. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of steam and Balinese local wisdom with the help of sophisticated AR so that the media becomes more contextual, real, interesting, and students' literacy increases.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ learning motivation and learning outcomes through the implementation of the STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) cooperative learning model assisted by audiovisual media in Pancasila Education. The research was conducted on Grade VII B students at SMP Negeri 3 Susut. This study was motivated by the low level of students’ learning motivation and learning outcomes, which were influenced by teacher-centered learning methods and limited use of engaging learning media. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in several cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation, learning achievement tests, and learning motivation questionnaires. The results indicate that the implementation of the STAD cooperative learning model assisted by audiovisual media significantly improves students’ learning motivation and has a positive impact on their learning outcomes in Pancasila Education. Therefore, the STAD learning model assisted by audiovisual media is effective as an alternative instructional approach to enhance the quality of the learning process and student achievement. Abstract

Penelitianini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pelaksanaan pendidikan multikultural lewat pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila guna meningkatkan sikap toleransi pada siswa di SMP Negeri 4 Sukasada. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran dan pengaruhnya terhadap perilaku siswa dalam konteks keragaman budaya, agama, dan sosial. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen, yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif  yang dikembangkan oleh Miles dan Huberman. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai multikultural dalam pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila telah dilakukan dengan baik dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan sikap toleransi siswa, terutama melalui strategi pembelajaran kolaboratif, pengenalan lintas budaya, serta kegiatan sekolah yang berbasis pada karakter pelajar Pancasila. Namun, terdapat beberapa tantangan sepertikekurangan mediapendukung dan pelatihan bagi guru  yang masih ada, sehingga perlu adanya penguatan kebijakan dan peningkatan fasilitas yang mendukung.

Abstract

Pancasila Education plays a strategic role in shaping students’ character, particularly discipline and responsibility. This study aims to describe the implementation of Pancasila Education in developing discipline and responsibility character among Grade XI C students at SMA Negeri 1 Sawan. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research subjects included Pancasila Education teachers and Grade XI C students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of Pancasila Education in strengthening discipline and responsibility character was carried out through classroom learning activities, habituation of disciplined behavior, responsibility-based assignments, and teacher role modeling. Furthermore, the integration of Pancasila values into learning activities and school programs contributed to the gradual development of students’ discipline and responsibility. Therefore, Pancasila Education plays an important role in building students’ character based on Pancasila values.
