Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries with the largest adherents of Islam in the world. Indonesia is also a country that has great potential for tourism with halal products. One of the halal tourist destinations in South Sumatra is the fishing village in Sungsang Village, Banyuasin Regency. The Fisherman's Village in the Sungsang area has been used as a tourist destination by the Banyuasin Regency Regional Government, and it has been running well in recent years. The number of domestic and foreign tourists visiting the Sungsang area has reached hundreds or thousands. The research uses quantitative descriptions of MSMEs in the Banyuasin district. The results of the SWOT analysis can be developed into three models based on potential and uniqueness, namely: a tourist village pattern based on the uniqueness of local cultural resources, namely the decorative boat tradition, a tourist village pattern based on the uniqueness of natural resources as a fishing village tourist village and a tourist village pattern based on the uniqueness of industrial creative economic activities. craft crackers and shrimp pempek. Three models of halal tourism development in Sungsang Village, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra are supported by several IFAS and EFAS factors with a difference of 0.62 which is positive, namely: creative industry from MSMEs that already have halal certificates for their products, the availability of adequate places of worship in each village. and the existence of annual events in the form of traditional decorative boat competitions. The development of halal tourism in Sungsang Village also has challenges, including limited facilities and infrastructure, accommodation, and transportation access to tourist destinations. not enough.   Keywords: Challenges, Halal, MSMEs, Opportunities, Tourism.

Abstract

Bullying itself is an aggressive act or manipulation that is conscious and purposeful carried out by one or more people against one or a group of other people. The bullying phenomenon that occurred at MA Khusnul Yaqin and MA Mambau Shofa schools is a phenomenon where many bullying acts are carried out unknowingly by students at the school. There is a need for legal counseling related to bullying acts by providing legal education and understanding about bullying. Perpetrators who feel that bullying is normal, both verbally and non-verbally, and for victims of bullying, awareness of legal protection can be provided so that victims of bullying feel protected and avoid the impact of bullying that can attack mental health. This counseling is carried out using a persuasive, educational, and communicative approach. Legal counseling about the impact of bullying is expected to raise awareness of teachers, students, and the general community around the importance of bullying counseling in the school environment because of the huge impact on student psychology and the very severe legal sanctions for perpetrators of bullying, especially in the school environment.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the ethics of student learning according to Syaikh Muhammad Syakir in the book Waṣāyā al-Ᾱbā’ Lil Abnā and its Relevance in the Current Context. Habituation of learning ethics is very important for students to be familiar with the ethics of learning to gain knowledge that is blessing and beneficial. This study aims to explain the ethics of student learning according to Syaikh Muhammad Syakir described in Waṣāyā al-Ᾱbā’ Lil Abnā and its relevance in the current context. Research method used is qualitative with a character study approach.  The result of the research is to divide student learning ethics into four parts: self-study ethics, learning ethics towards lessons, learning ethics towards teachers, and learning ethics towards friends. The four divisions are still relevant and need to be applied in the current context. In addition, student learning ethics also involve the use of technology wisely and responsibly, including utilizing accurate learning resources while maintaining their integrity. So, it is important for students to learn and apply learning ethics in their daily lives.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of open access models, particularly Diamond Open Access (OA), and SINTA rankings on the submission-to-publication duration of accredited humanities journals in Indonesia. It also addresses a notable gap in existing literature regarding publication waiting times within the Indonesian humanities context. Employing a quantitative ex post facto design, the study analyzes a sample of 100 SINTA-accredited humanities journals that published articles in 2024. Submission-to-publication durations (calculated as the number of days between submission and final publication) were extracted using an AI-assisted metadata retrieval tool (Gemini). A total of 2,489 eligible articles were identified. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and one-way ANOVA to determine the effects of the independent variables. The findings show that the median submission-to-publication time for Indonesian humanities journals is 125.67 days, with substantial variability ranging from 0 to 991 days. The Diamond OA model does not significantly affect publication duration (Sig. > 0.05), indicating that author-fee-free access does not inherently lengthen editorial processes. Conversely, SINTA rankings show a significant effect (Sig. < 0.05), with journals in higher SINTA tiers tending to have longer publication timelines. This study provides timely empirical evidence regarding factors that shape publication efficiency in Indonesia’s humanities journals—an area previously underexplored. The methodological use of AI for metadata extraction also represents an important contribution. These findings offer practical insights for authors selecting suitable publication venues and for journal publishers seeking to enhance the efficiency of their editorial workflows.

Abstract

Abstract

Background of Study: Students’ interest in reading the Qur’an reflects an important dimension of religious character development in higher education. However, many university students demonstrate low consistency and motivation in Qur’anic reading practices.Aims and Scope of the Paper: This study analyzes the strategies employed by the Qur’anic Enthusiast Student Community (KOMPAQ) at Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu in fostering students’ engagement with Qur’anic reading activities. Methods: This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with thematic analysis. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 8 KOMPAQ core members and 10 active participants, participant observation in mentoring activities, and document analysis of community programs. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, to identify recurring patterns of strategy implementation. Results: The findings indicate that students’ engagement in Qur’anic reading is influenced by prior educational background and peer environment. KOMPAQ addresses this through several interconnected strategies: (1) creating a psychologically safe and inclusive learning environment; (2) strengthening motivation through peer role models and inspirational member narratives; (3) designing structured yet flexible programs such as halaqah tahsin, tahfizh, One Day One Ayah, One Day One Hadith, and routine tilawah; (4) reinforcing participation through appreciation and symbolic rewards; and (5) utilizing digital platforms and inter-organizational collaboration to expand outreach. Conclusion: These strategies form a thematic pattern of environmental support, motivational reinforcement, program accessibility, and social networking.
