Abstract

Bullying itself is an aggressive act or manipulation that is conscious and purposeful carried out by one or more people against one or a group of other people. The bullying phenomenon that occurred at MA Khusnul Yaqin and MA Mambau Shofa schools is a phenomenon where many bullying acts are carried out unknowingly by students at the school. There is a need for legal counseling related to bullying acts by providing legal education and understanding about bullying. Perpetrators who feel that bullying is normal, both verbally and non-verbally, and for victims of bullying, awareness of legal protection can be provided so that victims of bullying feel protected and avoid the impact of bullying that can attack mental health. This counseling is carried out using a persuasive, educational, and communicative approach. Legal counseling about the impact of bullying is expected to raise awareness of teachers, students, and the general community around the importance of bullying counseling in the school environment because of the huge impact on student psychology and the very severe legal sanctions for perpetrators of bullying, especially in the school environment.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the ethics of student learning according to Syaikh Muhammad Syakir in the book Waṣāyā al-Ᾱbā’ Lil Abnā and its Relevance in the Current Context. Habituation of learning ethics is very important for students to be familiar with the ethics of learning to gain knowledge that is blessing and beneficial. This study aims to explain the ethics of student learning according to Syaikh Muhammad Syakir described in Waṣāyā al-Ᾱbā’ Lil Abnā and its relevance in the current context. Research method used is qualitative with a character study approach.  The result of the research is to divide student learning ethics into four parts: self-study ethics, learning ethics towards lessons, learning ethics towards teachers, and learning ethics towards friends. The four divisions are still relevant and need to be applied in the current context. In addition, student learning ethics also involve the use of technology wisely and responsibly, including utilizing accurate learning resources while maintaining their integrity. So, it is important for students to learn and apply learning ethics in their daily lives.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of open access models, particularly Diamond Open Access (OA), and SINTA rankings on the submission-to-publication duration of accredited humanities journals in Indonesia. It also addresses a notable gap in existing literature regarding publication waiting times within the Indonesian humanities context. Employing a quantitative ex post facto design, the study analyzes a sample of 100 SINTA-accredited humanities journals that published articles in 2024. Submission-to-publication durations (calculated as the number of days between submission and final publication) were extracted using an AI-assisted metadata retrieval tool (Gemini). A total of 2,489 eligible articles were identified. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and one-way ANOVA to determine the effects of the independent variables. The findings show that the median submission-to-publication time for Indonesian humanities journals is 125.67 days, with substantial variability ranging from 0 to 991 days. The Diamond OA model does not significantly affect publication duration (Sig. > 0.05), indicating that author-fee-free access does not inherently lengthen editorial processes. Conversely, SINTA rankings show a significant effect (Sig. < 0.05), with journals in higher SINTA tiers tending to have longer publication timelines. This study provides timely empirical evidence regarding factors that shape publication efficiency in Indonesia’s humanities journals—an area previously underexplored. The methodological use of AI for metadata extraction also represents an important contribution. These findings offer practical insights for authors selecting suitable publication venues and for journal publishers seeking to enhance the efficiency of their editorial workflows.

Abstract

Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemanfaatan potensi kelapa di Desa Lasori melalui pembuatan Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO). Desa Lasori memiliki potensi kelapa yang melimpah, namun pengolahannya masih terbatas pada produk konvensional seperti kopra dan minyak kelapa biasa. Program ini melibatkan pelatihan kepada masyarakat mengenai teknik pembuatan VCO dengan metode sederhana, higienis, dan bernilai ekonomi tinggi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat, serta terbukanya peluang usaha berbasis pengolahan kelapa. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, diharapkan masyarakat Desa Lasori mampu mengembangkan VCO sebagai produk unggulan desa yang mendukung pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal.

Abstract

Dermatoscopy image-based skin lesion classification is a challenge in dermatology due to the high visual variation between lesion types and the imbalanced class distribution in the dataset. In this study, a Hybrid Vision Transformer–ConvNeXt architecture is proposed, combining the global attention capability of Vision Transformer (ViT) and the spatial feature representation of ConvNeXt, to improve the classification performance of skin lesion images on the HAM10000 dataset. This study also applies Multi-Task Focal Loss, auxiliary classifier, and Weighted Random Sampler to effectively address the class imbalance. In addition, the Medical Test-Time Augmentation (TTA) approach is used in the inference stage to improve the stability of predictions. The model is trained using a two-stage strategy (head training and full fine-tuning), as well as optimization based on AdamW and Cosine Annealing Warm Restarts. The test results show that the proposed model successfully achieves a validation F1-Score of 0.8723, and after TTA it increases to 0.90, surpassing the baseline of ViT and single ConvNeXt. These findings indicate that the integration of ViT–ConvNeXt with loss strategy and medical TTA is able to significantly improve the performance of skin lesion classification, and has the potential to be applied as a clinical diagnosis support system.

Abstract

Law Number 1 of 2022 concerning Financial Relations between the Central Government and Regional Governments has shifted the direction of Indonesia's fiscal decentralization toward a more centralized approac Although formal regional autonomy remains in effect, regional fiscal dependence on the central government remains hig This centralization is further clarified through Article 97 of the Regional Government Regulation (HKPD), which authorizes the central government to revoke regional regulations regarding tax and levy rates if deemed inconsistent with national strategic programs. This approach has generated dynamics and resistance, including from the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) faction, which believes the HKPD Law does not reflect fiscal justice, minimizes public participation, and has the potential to increase the tax burden. Furthermore, the implementation of a closed list system for types of taxes and levies further limits regional fiscal space and contradicts the principles of regional autonomy. Abstrak Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 2022 tentang Hubungan Keuangan antara Pemerintah Pusat dan Pemerintah Daerah mengubah arah desentralisasi fiskal Indonesia menjadi lebih sentralistik. Meskipun otonomi daerah secara formal masih berlaku, ketergantungan fiskal daerah terhadap pusat tetap tinggi. Sentralisasi makin nyata melalui Pasal 97 UU HKPD, yang memberi kewenangan kepada pemerintah pusat untuk membatalkan peraturan daerah terkait tarif pajak dan retribusi apabila dianggap tidak sejalan dengan program strategis nasional. Pendekatan ini memunculkan dinamika dan resistensi, termasuk dari Fraksi PKS yang menilai UU HKPD tidak mencerminkan keadilan fiskal, minim partisipasi publik, serta berpotensi menambah beban pajak. Selain itu, penerapan sistem closed list atas jenis pajak dan retribusi semakin membatasi ruang fiskal daerah dan bertentangan dengan prinsip otonomi daerah.

Abstract

The gut microbiota, a community of microorganisms residing in the digestive tract, plays a crucial role in human health, particularly in regulating immune function and metabolism. This study aims to explore the contributions of the gut microbiota to immune responses and metabolic health, as well as its role in preventing chronic diseases. Through a literature review approach, an analysis was carried out regarding the latest findings of the role of microbiota in producing metabolites such as short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), which act as anti-inflammatory agents and strengthen mucosal integrity. A balanced gut microbiota helps regulate immune function, inhibit pathogen colonization, and support overall metabolic health. However, lifestyle factors such as high-sugar, low-fiber diets, antibiotic misuse, stress, and inadequate sleep can disrupt this microbial balance, often leading to dysbiosis. Dysbiosis, or an imbalance in gut microbiota, may trigger metabolic and inflammatory disorders, including diabetes, autoimmune diseases, and cardiovascular conditions. This study underscores the importance of maintaining a balanced gut microbiota for disease prevention and long-term health promotion, as well as raising awareness about the impact of lifestyle choices on gut health.

Abstract

Abstract: Obesity is a major health problem that significantly impacts quality of life and can trigger various chronic diseases. Early detection of obesity levels is crucial for public health management, but traditional methods such as BMI often have limitations. Solution: This study proposes a data mining-based approach using feature engineering techniques to improve the accuracy of obesity classification. The purpose of this study is to classify obesity levels and compare the performance of Naïve Bayes and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) methods. This research method includes preprocessing stages, feature extraction using Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA), feature selection using CFS and Chi-Square, classification with Naïve Bayes and KNN, and model evaluation using accuracy and confusion matrix on 2,111 data sets from Kaggle. The results of this study show that on the original data without LDA, KNN achieves a higher accuracy (88.41%) than Naïve Bayes (63.82%). However, after using LDA, the accuracy of Naïve Bayes increased sharply to 93.61%, surpassing KNN's 92.19%. The study concluded that KNN was more effective on raw data, while Naïve Bayes was more optimal when combined with LDA-based dimensionality reduction. Keyword:  classification_ naïve_bayes; data mining; k-nearest neighbor; obesity; LDA; PCA.  Abstract: Obesitas merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan utama yang berdampak signifikan pada kualitas hidup dan dapat memicu berbagai penyakit kronis. Deteksi dini tingkat obesitas sangat krusial untuk manajemen kesehatan masyarakat, namun metode tradisional seperti BMI seringkali memiliki keterbatasan. Solusi: Penelitian ini mengusulkan pendekatan berbasis penambangan data (data mining) menggunakan teknik rekayasa fitur untuk meningkatkan akurasi klasifikasi tingkat obesitas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengklasifikasikan tingkat obesitas dan membandingkan kinerja metode Naïve Bayes dan K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN). Metode penelitian ini mencakup tahap prapemrosesan, ekstraksi fitur menggunakan Principal Component Analysis (PCA) dan Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA), seleksi fitur menggunakan CFS dan Chi-Square, klasifikasi dengan Naïve Bayes dan KNN, serta evaluasi model menggunakan accuracy dan confusion matrix pada 2.111 data dari Kaggle. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada data asli tanpa LDA, KNN mencapai akurasi lebih tinggi (88,41%) dibandingkan Naïve Bayes (63,82%). Namun, setelah penggunaan LDA, akurasi Naïve Bayes meningkat tajam menjadi 93,61%, melampaui KNN yang mencapai 92,19%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah KNN lebih efektif pada data mentah, sedangkan Naïve Bayes menjadi lebih optimal ketika dikombinasikan dengan reduksi dimensi berbasis LDA. Keywords: klasifikasi naïve bayes; k-nearest neighbor; obesitas; PCA; penambangan data; LDA

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to provide a comprehensive philosophical justification for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) by examining how ontological, epistemological, and axiological foundations can strengthen its role in the modern era. This study addresses growing concerns that TVET is increasingly dominated by a market-driven instrumental paradigm that neglects its humanistic, reflective, and ethical dimensions. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted following the PRISMA protocol. This review synthesized 34 Scopus-indexed journal articles published between 2020 and 2025, identified through Boolean-based keyword searches focusing on philosophical, conceptual, and theoretical perspectives in TVET. The selected studies were analyzed using qualitative thematic analysis to explore the philosophical justifications and their implications for TVET. This review reveals an intense philosophical urgency in redefining TVET amid rapid digitalization, Industry 4.0 demands, social inequality, and widening skill gaps. The philosophical foundations collectively shift TVET from a mechanistic skills training model to a holistic human development system. A philosophical approach contributes to character building, work ethic, and social awareness through virtue ethics, practical wisdom (phronesis), and spiritual workability. This study presents a comprehensive philosophical framework for reevaluating the essence and direction of TVET. By integrating ontology, epistemology, and axiology, this research offers a new conceptual lens to strengthen TVET as a transformative, humanistic, and socially responsive education system. Studi ini membahas kekhawatiran yang berkembang bahwa TVET semakin didominasi oleh paradigma instrumental yang digerakkan oleh pasar yang mengabaikan dimensi humanistik, reflektif, dan etisnya. Tinjauan Literatur Sistematis (SLR) dilakukan mengikuti protokol PRISMA. Tinjauan ini mensintesis 34 artikel jurnal terindeks Scopus yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2020 dan 2025, diidentifikasi melalui pencarian kata kunci berbasis Boolean yang berfokus pada perspektif filosofis, konseptual, dan teoretis dalam TVET. Studi yang dipilih dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik kualitatif untuk mengeksplorasi pembenaran filosofis dan implikasinya terhadap TVET. Tinjauan ini mengungkapkan urgensi filosofis yang intens dalam mendefinisikan ulang TVET di tengah digitalisasi yang cepat, tuntutan Industri 4.0, ketidaksetaraan sosial, dan kesenjangan keterampilan yang melebar. Fondasi filosofis secara kolektif menggeser TVET dari model pelatihan keterampilan mekanistik menuju sistem pengembangan manusia yang holistik. Pendekatan filosofis berkontribusi pada pembentukan karakter, etika kerja, dan kesadaran sosial melalui etika kebajikan, kebijaksanaan praktis (phronesis), dan kemampuan kerja spiritual. Studi ini menyajikan kerangka filosofis yang komprehensif untuk mengevaluasi kembali esensi dan arah TVET. Dengan mengintegrasikan ontologi, epistemologi, dan aksiologi, penelitian ini menawarkan lensa konseptual baru untuk memperkuat TVET sebagai sistem pendidikan yang transformatif, manusiawi, dan responsif secara sosial. This study examines the phenomenon of “pretending to be poor” through an ethical-theological approach using dramaturgical theory from Erving Goffman. The focus lies on identity distortion, violations of honesty and love, and their implications for social justice and church diaconal practices. This research employs a qualitative library method with descriptive-interpretative and hermeneutical analysis. The findings reveal that this phenomenon reflects a rupture in human relationships with God, others, and self, and calls for the renewal of Christian ethics and diakonia grounded in integrity, verification, and holistic empowerment.
