Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Architecture, as a discipline encompassing art, engineering, and spatial design, requires an effective educational approach to develop the creativity of aspiring architects. This study aims to evaluate and implement a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model to enhance the creativity of students in the Architecture Engineering program in the course of Architectural Design 1, focusing on realizing design and architectural techniques through real projects. The research employs Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted from June to July 2024, involving four classes of students. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests measuring student responses to project-based learning. The findings indicate that students feel more creative when given tasks that engage them directly in the classroom to sharpen their skills and broaden their knowledge. The implementation of the PjBL model proves effective in enhancing students' creative achievements through activities such as creating shape simulations using materials that reflect their creativity and accurately analyzing spaces based on human activities and the facilities available in simple buildings. These findings underscore the importance of integrating the PjBL model into the architecture curriculum to facilitate the development of students' creativity and design skills

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the implementation of the Emancipated Learning Curriculum in the Biology subject at SMA Negeri 1 Telaga Biru using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. The qualitative study was employed to understand the effectiveness of curriculum implementation. The evaluation of CIPP covered four aspects, encompassing context, input, process, and product. The results of the context aspect indicated that the objectives of the curriculum were in line with the school's vision and mission in shaping students' character, competitiveness, and readiness for future challenges. Then, the input aspect indicated that the readiness of teachers and adequate facilities and infrastructure, but it required improvement in technology and learning resources. In the process aspect, the learning has implemented contextual approach and project-based methods, although active student participation and access to technology were still poor. Meanwhile, the product aspect indicated an increase in learning outcomes, critical thinking skills, and deep and applicable students' conceptual understanding. In general, the Emancipated Learning Curriculum in the Biology subject has been running effectively, although continuous improvement is still needed for more optimal results.

Abstract

Abstract

Chemistry lessons are subject matter whose concepts are often found in students' daily lives, but many teachers have not been able to integrate the phenomena of chemistry and the potential of local plants into learning. The purpose of this research is to describe the potential of local plants as content and learning media based on local wisdom. The results of the study show that several types of plants found in the tourist area of Meranti Village can be used as chemistry learning content and media. These plants, namely belimbing wuluh flower, softwood flower and red spinach can be used as natural indicators instead of synthesis indicators for testing acid and alkaline solutions and Sago from sago trees is developed as a learning medium for molecular shape models

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that is one of the new innovations in learning by displaying images in 3D form which makes abstract concepts more real, such as students can observe cell models directly through Augmented Reality visualization. This research aims to test the validity of Augmented Reality-based learning modules in class XI SMA cell material. This type of development research or Research and Development (R&D) uses the ADDIE development model which is carried out up to the development stage, namely validity testing. The results of the validity test show that the Augmented Reality-based learning module on cell material obtained an average validity value of 94% by material experts and validation carried out by media experts showed an average of 75.38% which meets validity standards. Based on these results, this module was declared valid and suitable for use in learning.
