Abstract

This article attempts to dissect the thoughts of Muhammad Abed Al Jabiri and his ideas on the reconstruction of Islamic law. This titration analysis study has succeeded in revealing that the dominance of kalam and Sufism which is too strong has caused Islamic epistemology to not develop naturally. Departing from this, Muhamad Abed Al Jabiri offers an epistemological reconstruction to help develop religious knowledge that is considered different from science in the Western world. In general, Jabiri's criticism is directed at Arab-Islamic reasoning which is ultimately integrated into turats or culture. In Jabiri's view, culture should be the starting point for criticism of reason so that the Arab revival project does not experience a historical break. Because the problem of the downturn of the Arabs actually revolves around the way they understand and treat culture, which tends to move circularly and does not move towards renewal. In this case, the epistemology of Islamic studies offered by Jabiri includes three aspects, bayâni, irfâni and burhâni.

Abstract

This research will analyze the dynamics of the bat to determine a Sweet Spot. In this research, simplified geometry and abstract description of the bat shape were carried out and obtained the geometric equation of the bat. Then take the bat-ball system as the object of study. By using the Conservation of Momentum theorem, the theorem of Conservation of Angular Momentum and the recovery coefficient to build a dynamics model of a rigid body, then propose the Sweet Spot method and describe in determining the speed of the ball after the bat is hit. Starting from variations in the mass of the bat, center of gravity, and moment of inertia, it is concluded that the Sweet Spot will be in the long section above 0.564 m.

Abstract

A three-species prey-predator interaction is an interaction involving three species, namely the prey species, the intermediate predator and the top predator. The presence of predators can cause fear in their prey. This research aims to determine the local stability analysis of the mathematical model of the prey-prey food chain for three species in the presence of fear of intermediate prey and predators. This research is also equipped with numerical simulations that show the effects of fear on prey and intermediate predators. Based on the analysis that has been carried out, four fixed points have been obtained with their respective stability. Numerical simulations from the model show that when there is no fear of intermediate prey and predators, the population of each species shows irregular oscillations, whereas in the presence of fear of intermediate prey and predators the population stabilizes towards a fixed point . However, if the level of fear is too high for prey or intermediate predators, it will cause the population of top predators to become extinct.

Abstract

In determining the roots of non-linear equations can be solved analytically and numerically. Non-linear equations that are difficult to solve analytically can be solved by approaching them with numerical methods, namely the Newton method, the Ostrowski method, and the Bawazir method. However, this method is still slow in obtaining its roots because of its small convergence order. The Eighth Order Three-Step Iteration Method was formed because of the shortcomings of the existing 0methods. 0The purpose of 0this study is to examine the0 process of forming the formula of the Eighth Order Three-Step Iteration Method, develop the algorithm, and analyze the order of convergence. 0This type of research is basic research0. From the0 research results, the algorithm is used in computer programs. 0The convergence0 order 0of 0the Three-Step0Iteration0Method is eight, so this method is faster than Newton's Method, Ostrowski's Method, and Bawazir's Method.

Abstract

In nonlinear unconstrained optimization problems, methods involving the gradient of a function are used, allowing the function’s value to increase or decrease at the fastest rate. One of the gradient-based methods is the Conjugate Gradient method, which has been extensively modified, with one of the well-known variants being the Fletcher-Reeves method. However, in many cases, the application of these methods doesn’t always achieve the correct descent direction, affecting the speed and convergence of the method, so that modifications arise due to these deficiencies. The purpose of this study is to examine the process of forming the formula of a modified Fletcher-Reeves method, develop the algorithm, and analyze the global convergence. The results of numerical simulation tests show that by selecting the appropriate  value the modified Fletcher-Reeves method converges to the global minimum solution and can find it faster than the Fletcher-Reeves method.

Abstract

The problem for investors when investing is determine stocks that have the opportunity to move up that they get maximum profits in the future. The purpose of this study is to determine the opportunities for movement of the LQ-45 index stock. This study uses data on closing prices for daily stocks listed the LQ-45 index in the period February 2021-January 2022. To find out the opportunities for stock movements, a monte carlo simulation is used which based on the stock price movement model, the stock price movement model is influenced by the latest stock price and brown geometry motion 100 times and 10000 times simulation for 10 days of stock trading. Based on the results of the simulation analysis, the average share price was Rp. 916 - Rp. 23000, the value of forecasting accuracy namely very good forecasting accuracy with an average error of less than 10%. Companies that have increased opportunities for 10 trading days in February 2022 are CPIN.JK, INCO.JK, INKP.JK, and TBIG.JK.

Abstract

Diseases that can be scientifically transmitted between animals and humans are zoonotic diseases. In zoonotic diseases, cytokines act as cell signalers in the body that are useful for understanding immunity to disease infections. This study is a basic or theoretical research by conducting a literature review to understand the interaction between inflammatory pro-response cytokines with inflammatory anti-response. In this study, we will discuss a mathematical model consisting of two simple components, namely pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory responses. The analysis used is fixed point analysis. The fixed point obtained is the root of the polynomial to the power of 7 so that the exact value of the fixed point cannot be determined. In finding the fixed point of the system of differential equations used Descartes' rule, so that a positive fixed point of 7, 5, 3 or 1 piece is obtained. We supplemented the results with numerical simulations.

Abstract

Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) model is a model for inventory management decision-making. The basic EOQ model is not entirely realistic, as it neglects several factors that impact inventory management decisions, leading to suboptimal outcomes. This study aims to form and analyze the inventory model from the development of EOQ model. Market competition, seasonal changes, promotional reach, and unexpected events can cause uncertainty. Fuzzy set theory is used to overcome this uncertainty, namely demand rate and deterioration rate are represented by fuzzy numbers. Trade credit and limited capacity of the company’s warehouse are also considered, so the rented warehouse is used. The fuzzy model is deffuzified by graded mean integration representation method. Results include a model for optimal order quantity, the optimal time for rented warehouse inventory depletion, and the minimum total cost. Numerical simulation and sensitivity analysis demonstrate the model’s applicability and highlight the impact of parameter changes.

Abstract

To determine the quality of coffee beans, expertis and accuracy are needed to make the right decision, so there are no mistakes in labeling the qualityof coffee beans which can cause losses. This research aims to assist in determining the quality of coffee beans using the TOPSIS Fuzzy MADM method with four criteria, namely: water content, defects, scent, and ground height of the coffee beans. Criteria assessments are determined subjectively and objectively. The weight values of the criteria are obtained subjectively based on expert opinions and objectively obtained using the TOPSIS method. The results of this research is preference value ranking of all alternatives. The results of the accuracy test comparing the analysis results from experts with the TOPSIS Fuzzy MADM method obtained an accuracy rate of 85%, classified as good criteria that can be used todetermine the quality of coffee beans precisely and well.
