Abstract

The focus of the study in this paper analyzes Fritjof Capra's thoughts on A Science For Sustainable Living, Ecological Literacy and Climate Change This research uses a qualitative approach and the Ex Post Facto analysis method. The method of data collection in this study was carried out by direct observation in the field, literature study through reading sources such as journals, books and analyzing with YouTube playing related topics, namely Fritjof Capra. The results of this study show that the concept of A Science for Sustainable Living is related to human actions and ecosystems. Human actions in utilizing nature must not interfere with the existing ecosystem. So Ecological Literacy is important for humans to have the ability to understand the principles of organization, human life systems and use guidelines in creating sustainable societies or humans. This ability and understanding of humans has the power to think in predicting climate change and reducing residual burning that has a global impact.

Abstract

One of the traditional ritual in the Mentawai archipelago, the Tradition of Liat Pullaggajat, is in danger of dying out. This is clearly visible in the Mentawai area of South Siberut. To keep bad spirits from wreaking havoc, the villagers of Matotonan perform this annual cleansing rite. This research takes place in Matotonan Village, South Siberut District, Mentawai Islands Regency, and analyses the discourse of ritual process and the character education principles inherent in the Liat Pullagajat tradition. The researchers wanted to learn more about the significance of the ritual processions and the moral lessons taught within this culture. This research employed a qualitative strategy that combined historical analysis, ethnographic observation, and the examination of oral traditions. Methods of gathering information through direct observation, interviews, and written records. Reduction (including ritual recording), presentation, and verification of data can be achieved by processing. The results of this study found the ritual procession in carrying out the tradition of character education values contained in the Liat Pullaggajat tradition with the procession of Lia Siboitok (taddat lia), Sikebbukat sibakkat katcaila, Pasibitbit Sipitto', Lia Sikarua, Iriq toitet Iriq toitet, Lajot Simagre, Lia This ritual will be guided by the Sikerei in the villages of Matotonan, Madobag and Butui, which are in the South Siberut sub-district, Mentawai Islands district. There are nine values of character education contained in the Liat Pullagajat tradition, including religion, honesty, discipline, love of the motherland, tolerance, peace-loving, environmental care, social care, and responsibility and mutual cooperation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan siswa yang kurang mengerti dengan metode ceramah  yang digunakan  guru, dikelas IPS SMAN 2 Batang Anai pada Pembelajaran Sejarah tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1). Mendeskripsikan rancangan pembelajaran sejarah dengan Teknik Inside Outside Circle (IOC) 2). Mendeskripsikan Langkah-Langkah Pembelajaran Sejarah Dengan Teknik Inside Outside Circle (IOC) 3). Mengetahui alat evaluasi dalam pelaksanaan proses belajar sejarah yang menggunakan Teknik Inside Outside Circle (IOC). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini metode (Library research)/ studi kepustakaan pengumpulan data studi kepustakaan dan dokumentasi, analisis data melalui tahap pengumpulan data adalah editing, classifaying, vertifikasi, analzing, concluding/menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian tentang rancangan pembelajaran sejarah dengan Teknik Inside Outside Circle (IOC) yaitu 1. Menemukan Teknik pembelajaran inside Outside Circle  untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan keaktifan peserta didik dalam belajar  2. Langkah Langkah pembelajaran dengan Teknik inside outside Circle sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran yaitu untuk meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dalam proses PBM 3. Alat evaluasi dalam Teknik Inside Outside Circle berupa pemberian soal-soal kepada peserta didik untuk mengkur kemampuan peserta didik

Abstract

This study is motivated by the significant moral decline observed among students, both within and outside the school environment. This issue is evident in various cases such as bullying, fighting, lack of manners, and proper conduct in daily life, including speaking, eating, and social interactions. Therefore, there is a need to emphasize the cultivation of character values through the Minangkabau Culture subject. The purpose of this study is to describe how these character values are instilled through the subject. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, with informants consisting of the school principal and teachers of the Minangkabau Culture subject. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The findings reveal that the integration of character values in schools can be achieved through key values such as religiousness, discipline, honesty, responsibility, independence, and hard work. The cultivation of these values aims to shape better attitudes, morals, and personalities among students. In the process of character education, collaboration between parents and teachers is crucial to ensure the effectiveness of character development in schools.

Abstract

In House Training (IHT) is a training conducted by the driving school in the Merdeka curriculum. One of the best driving schools is SMAN 1 Pulau Punjung. This IHT aims to refresh teachers considering the importance of using the right methods and the strategic position of the learning committee as a stimulant and initiator of change in the school environment. The method of implementing this activity is carried out to provide solutions in order to overcome partner problems. Through needs analysis, work plans, activity implementation, and evaluation. Activities realized in this community service include: providing material on In House Training Learning Models at SMAN 1 Pulau Punjung, Dharmasraya Regency. Based on the results of the In House Training (IHT) learning models for teachers of SMAN 1 Pulau Punjung, Dharmasraya Regency, it can be concluded that by increasing teachers' understanding of learning models, students' enthusiasm for learning will increase so that student learning outcomes will increase. The selected learning models, such as project-based learning, cooperative learning, and the use of technology in learning, aim to increase active student participation and 21st century skills. The results of this activity indicate that teachers of SMAN 1 Pulau Punjung have increased their competence in designing and implementing more creative learning models that are in accordance with the needs of students in the digital era.

Abstract

Religious studies and religious insight at Gula Rajawali Vocational School are directed at providing constructive solutions in shaping student character, through targeted and relevant assistance. This service aims to create an educational environment that supports students' spiritual development, fosters religious values, and makes a positive contribution to the character formation and welfare of students at Gula Rajawali Vocational School. The method used in carrying out this service is participatory story action research (PAR). The results of this service research show that the mentoring program for religious studies and religious insight at Gula Rajawali Vocational School succeeded in providing a significant positive impact on increasing students' spiritual dimensions. So, this program not only creates a deeper awareness of religious values, but also integrates spiritual aspects into the vocational learning environment, contributing to the holistic development of students.

Abstract

Tawhid is a very important factor in Islam. The thoughts of Ismail Raji Al-Faruqi regarding the principles of the family and also the character of children must of course get a very big influence from Tawhid. Because tawhid is the basic foundation of Islam that must be strong. Tawhid is the core of Islamic teachings that must be the principle and foundation of life. Tawhid, which acts as a principle, has an essence that can underlie every activity of these Muslims. Tawhid means belief and also testimony that there is no God other than Allah. And this is what must be instilled in children so that they have true Islamic characteristics and do not have the thought of shirk by worshiping and taking blessings apart from Allah. Tawhid must be translated into the character of children where the family becomes one of the media that helps to translate this. Moral education and also character development in children must be based on tawhid in accordance with Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan perancangan dan pelaksanaan model discovery learning berbantu poster pada materi perlawanan rakyat terhadap kolonialisme bangsa Eropa dalam pembelajaran sejarah, untuk mendeskripsikan kendala-kendala dalam perancangan dan pelaksanaan model discovery learning berbantu poster. Metode penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini bahwa Pelaksanaan Model discovery learning Berbantu Poster. Pelaksanaan model discovery learning sudah dapat terlaksana. Pelaksanaan diskusi antar kelompok berjalan dengan baik. Kendalanya yaitu kegiatan diskusi hanya sebagian dari peserta didik yang ikut berpartisipasi dalam memahami materi dan berdiskusi. Terdapat kendala selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung yaitu keterbatasan waktu. Simpulan penelitian ini bahwa Perancangan pembelajaran sudah terlaksanakan dengan baik, dikarenakan semua tahap-tahap pembelajaran terlaksanakan sesuai dengan prosedur model discovery learning. Kata Kunci: Discovery Learning, Pelaksanaan, Pembelajaran Sejarah, Poster.

Abstract

This study discusses the work of Rahmah El Yunusiyyah in the field of politics, therefore the purpose of this research is to describe the background of Rahmah El Yunusiyyah joining the political field, the work of Rahmah El Yunusiyyah in the field of politics, and how politics influences the education of Diniyyah Puteri. This research method is Library Research using a philosophical approach and a historical approach. The results of this study are to explain how Rahmah El Yunusiyyah's background joined the political field.

Abstract

This paper discusses the existing problem is that students still lack interest in learning in the learning process when educators use the lecture method. Lack of student interest greatly influences students' learning motivation so that this has an impact on student learning outcomes. On this basis, this research focuses on the effectiveness of implementing Ice Breaking Picture Guessing with the help of poster media on learning motivation in history subjects. The aim of this research is to describe the effectiveness of the application of the Ice Breaking Image Guessing Technique assisted by Poster Media on Learning Motivation in History Subjects. The type of research used in this research is quantitative percentage. The sampling technique in this research was the Purposive Sampling technique, namely sampling based on certain considerations, so that a sample of class X ATR students was obtained with a total of 23 students and an average UTS score of 34.70% in history subjects. Data collection techniques through observation,questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data obtained was then analyzed descriptively as a percentage. The results of the research conducted showed that the effectiveness of the Ice Breaking technique of guessing pictures assisted by poster media on learning motivation in history subjects in Class X ATR SMK N 1 Kerinci was categorized as very effective with a score reaching 88,51%. It can be concluded that the application of the Ice Breaking image guessing technique assisted by poster media can be said to be very effective, according to the criteria table because it reaches a frequency of 81% -100%.
