Abstract

This research aims to understand the perception of changes in the tax system based on Coretax on the stress levels and workload of employees working in the tax department. Coretax is a new taxation system implemented to improve the efficiency of tax administration in Indonesia. However, the transition to this new system can affect the psychological condition of workers, especially in the tax department who must adapt to these changes. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. Where this method is derived directly from primary data resulting from complaints from tax workers recorded in the industrial taxpayer group. The results of this study indicate that changes in the tax system can increase stress levels and add to the workload because other tasks are neglected due to excessive focus on the success of the system.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of perceived organizational support (POS) on meaning of work, employee engagement, and the level of stress experienced, using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. This review involved 15 scientific articles published between 2019 and 2024, focusing on the relationship between perceptions of organizational support and employee work experiences. The results of this review indicate that POS plays a significant role in increasing the meaning of work and employee engagement, and also acts as a buffer against work stress. Employees who feel supported by the organization tend to show higher loyalty, intrinsic motivation, and professional commitment, which in turn has a positive impact on their performance and well-being. The findings also indicate that employee engagement acts as a mediator in the relationship between meaning of work and stress, while factors such as ethical climate and organizational culture can strengthen the impact of POS. This study emphasizes the importance of managerial strategies that focus on employee support, recognition, and empowerment to create a healthy and productive work environment.

Abstract

Abstract

This literature review examines the challenges that gender stereotypes pose to women's advancement in international leadership roles. The review identifies obstacles such as limited access to top positions, gender pay gaps, and societal attitudes that favor men. Gender stereotypes contribute to conscious and unconscious biases, discriminatory practices, unequal opportunities, and the "double bind" phenomenon, where women must balance competence and likability. These challenges are exacerbated in international contexts by cultural differences and varying societal norms. The review concludes that gender stereotypes significantly hinder women's progress in international leadership, necessitating organizational efforts to dismantle biases, ensure equal access to opportunities, and foster inclusive cultures. Further research is recommended to explore the intersectional impact of gender stereotypes in international settings.

Abstract

Globally operating companies face challenges in managing human resources from diverse cultural backgrounds. This paper highlights how the role of International Human Resource Management (IHRM) can support the improvement of cross-cultural leadership effectiveness while strengthening organizational competitiveness at the global level. Based on the analysis of various empirical studies, it is revealed that leadership success is highly dependent on the mastery of cross-cultural competencies, including cultural intelligence, emotional intelligence, and intercultural communication skills. Global leaders who are able to integrate local and international identities, and adopt transformational leadership approaches, tend to be more successful in building synergy and innovation in multicultural teams. Flexible IHRM approaches such as cross-cultural training and international work experience are key factors in shaping leaders with global capacity. The study also emphasizes the need for collaborative, context-relevant and sustainable leadership development strategies, and the importance of integrating inclusive IHRM practices to support organizational performance in a dynamic global work environment.

Abstract

This study aims to synthesize findings from empirical studies on factors that influence employee performance and productivity in the context of modern organizations in Indonesia and beyond. Employee performance and productivity are crucial elements for the success and sustainability of organizations amidst intense business competition and dynamic changes in the work environment, including adaptation to work models such as Work From Home (WFH). This article uses a qualitative literature study method on articles/journals covering various key variables such as organizational/work culture, work environment, compensation, motivation, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, workload, work discipline, work stress, and work-life balance. The results of the analysis indicate a complex and interrelated relationship between these variables. It is consistently found that a positive organizational culture, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, and organizational commitment have a significant influence on improving performance and productivity. A conducive work environment and job satisfaction often act as important mediators in this relationship. However, the influence of variables such as compensation, workload, and work discipline show varying results depending on the organizational context and individual characteristics. This study underlines the importance of a holistic and integrated human resource management approach to optimize employee performance and productivity. Practical implications and suggestions for further research are also discussed.

Abstract

The advancement of technology and changes in work patterns following the COVID-19 pandemic have led to the widespread adoption of hybrid work systems. This study aims to identify the factors that influence the productivity of hybrid employees and to develop an integrative conceptual model that can serve as a foundation for future research. Using a narrative literature review method based on 20 articles from SINTA and Scopus-indexed academic databases (2019–2025), the study found that hybrid employee productivity is influenced by motivation, work discipline, the physical work environment, and e-HRM systems that enhance impersonal trust in the organization. This research offers a theoretical contribution to the development of hybrid HR frameworks in developing countries and provides practical implications for human resource management in the flexible work era. It also recommends empirical testing of the model within industrial sectors in Indonesia.
