Abstract

This study is the result of a literature review that discusses the implementation of the confidentiality principle in counseling students with broken home conditions. The results of the study show that counseling services with the principle of confidentiality for students with broken home conditions have a role in improving and achieving the lives of students both related to problem alleviation and optimal development in learning. The existence of children in this broken home situation can lead to negative behaviors that impact bad habits at home, socializing with peers, academics. and conduct disorder in school. Negative behaviors by children can lead to juvenile delinquency. Juvenile delinquency arises due to the absence of family and/or environmental recognition so that they feel that their basic needs, namely love and affection, are neglected. Not fulfilling the need for love is the basis for young people or adolescents to commit deviant actions. The principle of confidentiality is used when students have problems and the teacher/counselor must be able to keep it secret. However, this secrecy has limitations that must be considered between the interests of the school or educational institution and the interests of the students themselves. Students who wish to consult with the teacher/counselor can be influenced by the way the teacher himself provides services and maintains the confidentiality of the student's problems. The better the method used in maintaining the confidentiality of the students, the more successful the teacher will be in guiding.

Abstract

One of the factors that forms the basis of research is the need for guidance and counseling teachers regarding guidebooks that can be used as teaching references related to students' further studies, Andori, A. Z. (2013). The purpose of this study: (1) to know the procedures for developing guidebooks, their validity, practicality and effectiveness of guidebooks. This study used the method (R&D) using the 4D step, namely, define, design, development and dessimination which focused on class IX students of SMPN 9 Denpasar as research subjects. While the object of research is the guidebook of Ginzberg's counseling theory in giving consideration to students' further studies, Yavuz, O. (2022) Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires. The results of the study concluded that the results obtained from the validity test using Lawshe, Gilbert, G. E., & Prion, S. (2016) CVR and CVI showed a per-item value greater than 0 (CVR>0). Furthermore, the results of the Lashe CVI analysis obtained a score of 1. Based on the data analysis, it means that the content validity value of the guidebook product is high, meaning that it is considered feasible to be developed. These results indicate that, the guidebook Ginzberg Counseling Theory with Modeling Techniques for Selecting Students' Advanced Study Meets relevant validity. Based on the assessment of ten (10) teachers/practitioners, the practicality of this guide was found with an average result of 88%, meaning that this guidebook meets the practical criteria used by Guidance and Counseling Teachers. Abstract

Character measurement for prospective student tourism workers has an important role in the overall education and training of prospective tourism workers. The limited scale of characters that can be used properly and meet the criteria of a valid and realizable scale makes the study of character scale development for tourism students very important. The study aims to validate factors and constructs for character measurement in tourism students. Character scale validation involved 300 tourism student respondents in Bali, utilizing six dimensions and 24 measuring items. EFA analysis in four rounds drops four items but includes all the theoretically constructed factors. CFA results confirm that 20 items of six-character scale factors are a powerful measurement model in character construction for tourism students. Each item contributes to each strong factor and correlates with equally strong factors, forming a single continuum of the same measurement. The results of this research have an important position in the overall study that develops character measurement.
