This research is a pilot study which aims to created the website and analyzed the effectiveness of a website-based solution focused-brief counseling (SFBC) program to reduce academic anxiety experienced by high school students. This study conducted by one group pretest-postest experimental design and involving 30 high school students in Singaraja, Bali as participants. The academic anxiety scale is used to measure the academic anxiety condition of students before attending counseling and also after. Student perception questionnaires were used to evaluate the feasibility of the program based on students' perceptions as users. Student academic anxiety data were analyzed through an independent sample t-test assisted by the JASP version 0.13 program. Data about the feasibility of web-based SFBC based on students' perceptions was analyzed descriptively and narrated. The results showed that: 1) the website-based SFBC program was effective in reducing academic anxiety experienced by high school students; 2) the website-based SFBC program has a good level of acceptance and feasibility based on the perceptions of students. The results of this study have implications for the use of website-based counseling methods for students.

This study aims to develop a cognitive-behavior counseling model based on Tri Kaya Parisudha in improving students' non-cognitive skills. Participants in this study were 45 students. The resilience data were obtain by Indonesian version of resilience scale and analyzed with ANOVA aided by the JASP program. The results of the study found that; (1) the cognitive-behavior counseling model based on Tri Hita Karana is effective in improving students' resilience (2) there is a difference in effectiveness model in overall area of students (3) programs that achieve acceptance and accessibility by students and the school counselor.

The use of social media is a popular communication tool for children and adolescents, but many adults also use it. This is because the fastest source of information today is social media, but from the many benefits there are also impacts that occur, students become less confident in their social environment, this condition is caused by social comparison, often comparing themselves with others when looking at the status of their friends. This study aims to analyze the conditions of social comparison of students based on gender, number of social media accounts, number of smartphones and number of Instagram followers. This research is a quantitative descriptive study obtained through random sampling. The sample in this study were 213 students from Madrasah Aliyah in Jakarta. Data was collected using the Social Comparison Scale (SCS) with 26 items in a five-point response format. The analysis technique used the item response theory (IRT) approach with the Rasch Model analysis. This research tested descriptive with the help of WINSTEPS Version 4.7.0. The results show that the social comparison tendency of Madrasah Aliyah students in the city of Jakarta is more towards positive social comparison or towards positive behavior, for example students more often compare their own achievements with their friends. In addition, students will more often compare themselves with others if they often see the status of friends who have joined to become their Instagram followers.

Character measurement for prospective student tourism workers has an important role in the overall education and training of prospective tourism workers. The limited scale of characters that can be used properly and meet the criteria of a valid and realizable scale makes the study of character scale development for tourism students very important. The study aims to validate factors and constructs for character measurement in tourism students. Character scale validation involved 300 tourism student respondents in Bali, utilizing six dimensions and 24 measuring items. EFA analysis in four rounds drops four items but includes all the theoretically constructed factors. CFA results confirm that 20 items of six-character scale factors are a powerful measurement model in character construction for tourism students. Each item contributes to each strong factor and correlates with equally strong factors, forming a single continuum of the same measurement. The results of this research have an important position in the overall study that develops character measurement.

Students’ mental health is one of the central issues during the COVID-19 pandemic. Various studies have reported increasing psychological disorders experienced by students. An effort is needed to help students improve their mental health and psychological well-being. This study reports the effect of online strength-based counseling (SBC) model through LMS Schoology. The randomized control trial experiment design performed to examining the effect of intervention on this study to students well-being, resilience and Health life style. This study involved 465 students who were randomly assigned to the first experimental group assign the online SBC through LMS Schoology, the second experimental group assign to the SBC by the paper based module counseling guide, and the third is waiting list control. Manova and Anova statistic analysis used to test the hypothesis of this study. The results of this study show that online SBC through LMS Schoology is an effective intervention to help students improve healthy lifestyles and behaviors, resilience, and well-being. The findings in this study have implications for the implementation of guidance and counseling services in schools as an effort to improve students' mental health and psychological well-being.

One of the characteristics of the independent learning curriculum is student-centered learning. Students become a reference in finding patterns of learning and mentoring. In this context, teachers are required to seek power and efforts to foster the capability of students (student agency) in leading themselves. One pattern of assistance used by teachers, especially Counseling Guidance teachers is person-centered counseling. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the Person-Centered counseling approach pattern in fostering student learning independence. The method used in this research is a systematic literature review. The stages in this method are planning, conducting, and reporting. The locus of this research is the literature research results of several researchers, who examined several schools related to the person-centered counseling approach. The results of this research are an increase in student independence in learning when the teacher applies a person-centered counseling pattern. This has been proven in several studies. On that basis, the application of the person-centered counseling approach model is something that is definitely needed to improve the quality of student learning.

The improvement of self-control is a key factor in enhancing academic achievement and the quality of students' lives. Therefore, this research aims to explore strategies for enhancing self-control through the application of self-hypnosis techniques among students. The research employed a random sampling technique by randomly selecting classes as samples. The total number of participants involved in this study was 60 individuals. Statistical analysis was conducted using the ANCOVA method. The results of the study revealed that the application of self-hypnosis techniques significantly increased the level of self-control among students. It was found that the experimental group, which received the self-hypnosis technique, experienced a significant improvement in self-control compared to the control group. This finding remained significant even after controlling for initial variables that may have influenced the results, such as the participants' initial level of self-control before the intervention.The findings indicate that self-hypnosis techniques can be an effective strategy for enhancing self-control among students. By utilizing these techniques, students can develop the ability to regulate themselves, manage their emotions, and overcome distractions that may hinder their academic performance and daily lives. The implications of this study highlight the importance of introducing self-hypnosis techniques as part of personal development programs for students.

Instrumen penilaian yang digunakan oleh pihak sekolah cenderung hanya memanfaatkan instrumen penilaian dari sekolah gugus inti, belum adanya instrumen penilaian yang teruji validitas dan reliabilitas menjadikan dasar dilaksanakannya penelitian pengembangan ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan instrumen penilaian hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran IPA tema 8 Lingkungan Sahabat Kita untuk siswa kelas V SD. Pada penelitian ini, pengembangan yang dilakukan mengadaptasi model ADDIE, (Analisis, Perancangan, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi), tetapi dalam penelitian ini dibatasi hanya sampai pada tahap pengembangan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk menilai hasil belajar IPA yaitu dengan tes objektif pilihan ganda. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa uji validitas instrumen hasil belajar sebesar 1,00 dan hasil uji reliabilitas instrumen sebesar 1,00. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa instrumen penilaian hasil belajar IPA berada pada kriteria “sangat tinggi”. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan instrumen ini sudah tepat dan layak digunakan sebagai alat evaluasi atau penilaian hasil belajar yang akurat pada aspek kognitif hasil belajar IPA siswa.

Rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa disebakan karena beberapa faktor baik dari guru maupun siswa. Penerapan model pembelajaran make a match berbantuan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa melalui penggunaan kartu soal dan kartu jawaban serta video pembelajaran. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran make a match berbantuan media audio visual terhadap motivasi belajar IPA. Penelitian pra-eksperimen ini menggunakan desain static group comparison. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 119 siswa, sedangkan sampel penelitian berjumlah 56 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random dan yang di random adalah kelas sebagai intact group. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial (uji-t dan uji d Cohen). Ditemukan perbedaan motivasi belajar IPA antara siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran make a match berbantuan media audio visual dengan siswa yang tidak mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran make a match berbantuan media audio visual dengan (thitung = 8,78 > ttabel = 1,67). Selain itu, ditemukan pengaruh model pembelajaran make a match berbantuan media audio visual terhadap motivasi belajar IPA siswa dengan nilai d = 2,41 sehingga d > 0,8. Perbedaan hasil hitung rata-rata nilai motivasi belajar IPA siswa pada kelompok eksperimen adalah 132,5 dan pada kelompok kontrol adalah 90,53. Hal ini berarti penggunaan model pembelajaran make a match berbantuan media audio visual berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar IPA siswa kelas IV Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020.

The problem in the field is the lack of teacher innovation in developing media. It has implications for monotonous media to impact low student learning outcomes. This study aims to develop pop-up media with Balinese culture on the topic of the solar system. This type of research is the development of the ADDIE model. The research subjects were two media experts, two teachers, and three sixth-grade elementary school students. The data collection method used in this study is a questionnaire. The data analysis techniques are descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis and inferential statistics. The study's results are the assessment of media experts, namely 4.25 (very good). The results of teacher and student responses are 5.00 (very good). The hypothesis test results are 0.000 < 0.05, so there are differences in the results of interest in learning for sixth-grade elementary school students after learning to use pop-up book media. It was concluded that the pop-up book media with Balinese cultural nuances as the background image effectively increased student interest in learning science subjects for sixth-grade elementary school students.
