Abstract

The rational emotive behavioral approaches as one of the curative services through group counseling in schools that can alleviate problems faced by learners in an educational setting aims to help learners improve and change perceptions, ways of thinking, and irrational beliefs from the perception of the perspective on the problem to more flexible and rational (realistic) beliefs and more adaptive changes in the behavioral and emotional consequences experienced, to develop themselves and achieve optimal self-realization. The method used in this study is a literature review. The purpose of this study is to find out psychological problems in education that can be intervened with counseling through the rational approach of behavioral emotive, knowing the stages of implementing group counseling with a rational emotive behavioral approach, and the application of the rational emotive behavioral approach in group counseling in an educational setting. Psychological problems in education that can be intervened with counseling through a rational emotive behavioral approach are problems of aggression, anxiety, negative thinking, perfectionism, low self-esteem, low self-confidence, emotional disorders, learning disabilities, low academic achievement, and academic performance. The process of implementing group counseling with a rational emotive behavioral approach in educational settings is carried out with the main stages adjusted to ABCDE theory, namely the beginning stage, middle stage, and an ending stage. The application of a rational emotive behavioral approach in group counseling in an educational setting is the counseling of groups into responsive services in helping students who experience difficulties who need to be assisted in identifying problems, finding alternative problem-solving, and making decisions.

Abstract

Tunarungu adalah salah satu jenis dari anak berkebutuhan khusus. Tunarungu merupakan suatu istilah yang menunjuk pada kondisi tidak berfungsinya organ pendengaran secara optimal. Anak yang mengalami tunarungu tidak mampu mengerti orang lain dan sukar untuk memahami orang lain. Selain itu kondisi fisik anak tunarungu juga mengalami gangguan karena kurangnya interaksi social anak tunarungu dengan orang lain disekitarnya.  Hal tersebut menimbulkan tekanan pada emosinya, yang pada akhirnya dapat menghambat perkembangan kepribadian dan sosialnya dengan menampilkan perilaku seperti menutup diri, bertindak agresif atau sebaliknya menampakan kebimbangan dan keragu-raguan. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perkembangan kesehatan fisik maupun mental dari anak tunarungu setelah mengikutih pelatihan gerkan yoga suryanamaskar dengan bermediakan buku bergambar khususnya bagi anak tunarungu di SLB N 2 Buleleng. Subjek penelitian (N= 2) adalah siswa kelas VI SLB N 2 Buleleng. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara dan observasi (terhadap subjek, guru wali kelas VI, dan Ibu Kepala SLB N 2 Buleleng), penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Abstract: Deafness is one type of child with special needs. Deafness is a term that refers to the condition of optimal hearing loss. Children who experience deafness are not able to understand other people and are difficult to understand others. In addition, the physical condition of deaf children is also impaired due to the lack of social interaction of deaf children with other people around them. This creates pressure on his emotions, which in turn can hamper his personality and social development by displaying behaviors such as closing himself, acting aggressively, or otherwise showing doubt and hesitation. So this study aims to determine how the development of the physical and mental health of deaf children after participating in gerkan yoga Suryanamaskar training by providing picture books, especially for deaf children in Buleleng 2nd SLB. The research subjects (N = 2) were grade VI students of Buleleng SLB N 2. The method of data collection in this study used the method of interview, observation, and documentation (on subjects, homeroom teacher VI, and the mother of the head of SLB 2 N Buleleng). This study used quantitative descriptive analysis.

Abstract

Mathematics learning in elementary schools is intended so that students can master basic Mathematics knowledge and concepts in it and are skilled in applying it to real life. Facts in the field show that many students still have low Mathematics learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the effect of the problem based learning model on the Mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students. The research design used is Quasi Experimental Research with the type of Non Equivalent Control Group Pre-test Post-test Design. The population in this study was 144 fifth grade elementary school students spread across nine schools. Sampling in this study used the Cluster Random Sampling technique with 16 students as the experimental group and 22 students as the control group. The technique of collecting Mathematics learning outcome data was carried out using a multiple-choice test consisting of 20 questions. Furthermore, the data was analyzed using the t-test. The results obtained were t count = 8.14 and ttable = 1.69. The test criteria showed tcount (8.24) > ttable (0.69) so H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected. This indicates that there is a significant influence of the problem-based learning model on the Mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students. The latest information in the study has implications for its use as a reference for teachers to improve learning so that students' Mathematics learning outcomes are as expected.

Abstract

The lack of instructional media that stimulate students' critical thinking skills has resulted in low learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of scientific approach-based student worksheets (LKPD) on the topic of light and its properties in improving the learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary students. This research employed a development design using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The subjects of the study were 14 fifth-grade students. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and questionnaires, with instruments such as questionnaire sheets and multiple-choice tests. Data analysis techniques involved qualitative descriptive analysis, quantitative descriptive analysis, and inferential statistical analysis using the t-test. The findings revealed that the effectiveness test of the scientific approach-based LKPD yielded a significant result (2-tailed) of 0.000, indicating that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. This concludes that there is a significant difference in learning outcomes before and after using the scientific approach-based LKPD, particularly on the topic of light and its properties. The innovation of LKPD with a scientific approach to the material of light and its properties has implications as an example for teachers in implementing learning based on a scientific approach in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan motivasi belajar antara siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran course review horay dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui pembelajaran langsung pada siswa kelas V SD di Gugus IV Kecamatan Rendang tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Jenis penelitian ini yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian non equivalent post-test only control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas V SD di Gugus IV Kecamatan Rendang yang berjumlah 159 orang. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 8 Pempatan sebagai kelas eksperimen berjumlah 26 orang dan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 4 Pempatan sebagai kelas kontrol berjumlah 28 orang, pemilihan sampel dalam  penelitian ini diambil menggunakan teknik group random sampling. Data motivasi belajar dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen berupa kuesioner. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan uji-t sampel independent. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan motivasi belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial siswa antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran course review horay dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran langsung. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran course review horay berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar IPS siswa kelas V di Gugus IV Kecamatan Rendang tahun ajaran 2017/2018.

Abstract

The results reading skills of students in grade II is relatively low. That is due to the high activity of students who tend to like to play and have not applied the relevant learning method. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect and differences in students' reading skills resulting from the application of the Make a Match type of cooperative learning model assisted by picture media. The type of this study is pre-experimental research with a Static Group Comparison design. The study population was 98 students while the sample of this study was 39 students taken by the selection of all the population in each class as an intact group randomly. The data of the students reading skills were obtained using the non-test method (observation). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, inferential statistics (t-test), and Cohen's test. Based on the results of hypothesis testing obtained from the results of research on students 'reading difficulties (t-count = 14.60> t-table = 1.69 at a significance level of 5%), and there is a Make A Match type cooperative learning model that is assisted by image media to test students' reading skills (d = 4.91> 0.8), thus it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model of the type of Make A Match aided by media images has a positive effect on students' reading skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model konseling logo untuk mencegah penyalahgunaan narkoba, psikotropika, dan zat adiktif lainnya (Napza) pada para siswa di Provinsi Bali. Secara lebih rinci, untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan kecenderungan penyalahgunaan napza para siswa di Bali, (2) mendeskripsikan persepsi siswa terhadap upaya pencegahan penyalahgunaan napza yang dilakukan di sekolah, (3) mengetahui validitas teoretik rancangan model konseling logo, (4) mengetahui pengaruh model konseling logo terhadap kecenderungan penyalahgunaan napza siswa. Penelitian pengembangan ini dilakukan melalui tujuh langkah pokok, yaitu: (1) research and information collecting, (2) planning, (3) developing preliminary form of product, (4) preliminary field testing and product revision, (5) main field test and product revision, (6) operational field test and product revision dan (7) dessemination implementation and institutionalization. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari pakar dan praktisi bimbingan konseling di sekolah serta para siswa pada SMP,SMA,SMK di Provinsi Bali. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik multistage random sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) sebanyak 64,15%  dari 332 responden memiliki kecenderungan penyalahgunaan napza pada kategori sedang, 25,10% pada kategori tinggi, dan 10,25% pada kategori rendah, (2) sebanyak 81% siswa mempersepsikan telah dilakukan upaya pencegahan penyelahgunaan napza di sekolah dan 61% diantaranya mempersepsikan upaya pencegahan dilakukan oleh konselor sekolah, (3) uji validitas teoretik menunjukkan model konseling logo memiliki indek validitas yang baik (R sebesar 0,90); (4) terdapat perbedaan penurunan signifikan kecenderungan penyalahgunaan napza siswa yang mengikuti konseling logo dengan yang mengikuti konseling secara konvensional (t sebesar -19,654 p<0,05, dan pada amatan lanjut t sebesar  -14,443 p<0,05). Penelitian akan dilanjutkan pada tahap II dengan fokus pada uji coba efektifitas model pada populasi yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model tutor bimbingan konseling teman sebaya untuk membantu meminimalisasi masalah yang dialami mahasiswa di Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Undiksha Singaraja. Secara lebih rinci tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) mengidentifikasi masalah-masalah yang dialami mahasiswa FIP Undiksha, dan (2) mengetahui validasi teoretik rumusan model. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan pengembangan (research & develovement) yang terdiri dari tujuh langkah pokok yaitu, (1) research and information collecting. (2) pllaning. merumuskan rencana penggunaan hasil penelitian, sasaran atau pengguna hasil penelitian, dan deskripsi komponen-komponen hasil penelitian serta, (3) develop preliminary form of product yaitu  menyusunan draf uji coba hasil penelitian di lapangan  (4) preliminary field testing and product revition yaitu melakukan  evaluasi hasil  penelitian  untuk mengetahui apakah hasil penelitian dapat  dikembangkan atau tidak (5) main field test and product revision yaitu melakukan uji kembali hasil-hasil yang telah dicapai, (6) operational field test and product revision yaitu mengkaji apakah hasil penelitian benar-benar dapat digunakan oleh praktisi pendidikan sebagai pelaksana dan pengembang pendidikan (7) dessemination implementastion and institutionalization, implementasi hasil-hasil penelitian melalui proses desiminasi di lembaga. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa di Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Undiksha yang ditentukan dengan teknik proposional cluster random sampling serta pakar bimbingan konseling. Untuk mengidentifikasi masalah- masalah mahasiswa menggunakan instrumen alat ungkap masalah (AUM) jenis PTSDL seri mahasiswa selanjutnya data dianalisis menggunakan program komputer analisis AUM PTSDL versi 2011. Analisis validasi teoretik melibatkan dua orang pakar bimbingan konseling, data validasi dianalisis menggunakan teknik Geregory. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) masalah yang paling dirasakan mahasiswa FIP Undiksha berdasarkan hasil analisis AUM PTSDL adalah terkait dengan penguasaan keterampilan belajar dengan skor mutu 47,2 atau pada kategori rendah sedangkan rata-rata masalah yang dialami pada aspek keterampilan belajar ini adalah 22,5 atau pada kategori sedang. (2) hasil validasi model menggunakan nilai R sebesar 0,90 yang dapat bermakna bahwa model tutor bimbingan konseling teman sebaya layak dikembangkan lebih lanjut.

Abstract

The lack of learning media development and learning that is still based on books causes learning activities to seem less innovative. It has an impact on low student learning outcomes. This research aims to develop an animated video with the help of the Powtoon application in natural science subjects on the topic of living things. This type of research is designed using the 4-D development model. The research subjects were learning media experts, material experts, media experts, practitioners' responses, and student responses. Data collection methods used in this study are observation, questionnaires, rating scales, and documentation. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used in development research are qualitative descriptive statistical analysis techniques and quantitative descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The research results are the results of the validity of media experts at 94.5% (very good). The results of learning material experts get a score of 93.8% (very good). The teacher's practicality test results were 97.7% in the very practical predicate and did not need to be revised. Students' results of the practicality test obtained a percentage of 95% (very practical). It was concluded that this Powtoon animation video media is feasible to use in the learning process. Powtoon animated video media makes learning easy for students and motivates them to learn.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the social learning model to improve students' critical thinking skills on the material of my proud region. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent Post-test only control group design. The population in this study were all students in class totaling 151. The sampling in this study used a simple random sampling technique with the results obtained, namely 10 fifth grade students as the experimental group and 19 other students as the control group. Data collection was carried out using a descriptive test method totaling 10 questions. The data were analyzed using a t-test with the results obtained so that H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected. The conclusion from the results of the data analysis in this study is that there is a significant influence of the social learning model to improve students' critical thinking skills on the material of my proud region.
