Abstract

This study aims to analyze the leading sector among provinces of Java Island. To accomplish economic development in a region, the local government often takes part in increasing the GDRP to achieve the people's well-being. It is essential to understand what sectors that could bring the most benefit to the economic agents. This study uses the Location Quotient (LQ) method with the sectoral current price GDRP data. The main result has shown that the provinces of Java Island have their advantage and disadvantage. Most of them excel in the agricultural sector except Jakarta Special Capital Region (SCR). Banten has a better real estate sector than the rest of Java Island, while most services sector has led by Jakarta SCR.

Abstract

Adolescent girls who experience menstruation as a sign of the onset of puberty certainly need important information in carrying out hygiene behaviors during menstruation. Menstrual hygiene is an action taken to care for and maintain cleanliness in the feminine area, especially during menstruation. This is done to prevent infections in the reproductive tract.  Personal hygiene during menstruation needs to be considered, especially in adolescence. Many teenagers do not pay attention to personal hygiene during menstruation and show a negative attitude, and consider it taboo so they do not seek information. Adolescent women's knowledge about Menstrual Hygiene is needed as a preventive effort when the menstrual cycle occurs in adolescent girls. Young women's knowledge can be obtained by providing health counseling. This community service aims to increase students' knowledge about the cleanliness of the feminine area.           The results of this service are known to increase the understanding of adolescent girls in improving hygiene during menstruation (menstrual hygiene). The average initial knowledge for menstrual hygiene is 79% with a minimum score of 30 and a maximum of 100. After the test post, the average score of knowledge increased to 98.15% (minimum score of 80 and maximum score of 100). In addition to menstrual hygiene, education about puberty was also carried out with an average initial score of 65.2% (50-100) and an average test post of 94.53% (75-100%). During the education, participants seemed enthusiastic by being able to answer questions from service members. The conclusion of this service is so that young women can practice the knowledge gained to maintain personal hygiene and feminine hygiene during the menstrual cycle to avoid reproductive infections.

Abstract

Background: Adolescent girls' compliance in consuming blood supplement tablets is still low. The results of previous studies show that the compliance of adolescent girls in consuming blood supplement tablets is influenced by knowledge, parental support, teacher support, peer support and self-efficacy. Increasing the knowledge of adolescent girls in consuming blood supplement tablets be given education on how to consume blood supplement tablets, namely with Weekly Iron-Folic Acid Supplementation (WIFAS).Objective: To determine the effectiveness of Weekly Iron-Folic Acid Supplementation (WIFAS) Education on increasing the knowledge of adolescent girls. Methods: This research was conducted at SMA N 1 Godean with a sample size of 84 students. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Pretest was done before giving education using video, while pretest was done 1 month after education. Data analysis used univariate analysis and for bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon testResults: The level of knowledge of adolescent girls before education is mostly in the moderate category, namely 40.1%, and has increased after education in the good category, namely 83.3%. The Wilcoxon test results showed a p-value of 0,01.Conclusion: Weekly Iron-Folic Acid Supplementation (WIFAS) education is effective in improving the knowledge of adolescent girls

Abstract

Mathematical communication skill (KKM) is the ability of students to communicate ideas in writing to solve problems. However, students still have not been able to solve the problem and do not write conclusions. So it is necessary to apply the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model with a realistic approach to student KKM. The TSTS learning model can give students freedom to understand the material, develop mathematical ideas, write, and convey the results of their thinking to other students. This research was an experimental research with a posttest-only nonequivalent groups design. Sampling was conducted using the purposive sampling technique based on consideration of the lowest class average score, and a population equality test was performed using a one-way ANOVA test. Data collection was carried out using a posttest containing 4 questions and analyzed using descriptive statistics and a one-way ANOVA test. The results showed that the value of Fcount: 6.629159 > Ftable: 4.003983, so that the learning model affects math communication skill. Furthermore, a double comparison test was conducted with the Scheffe method and obtained that Fcount: 6.5863 > Ftable: 4.003983, which shows a significant difference between the average of the TSTS learning model with a realistic approach and the conventional learning model. So, it is concluded that the TSTS learning model with a realist approach is the best.

Abstract

Stock investment is one of the investment options that provides both profit and risk for investors. In an effort to maximize profits and minimize risks, investors need an optimal portfolio. The optimal portfolio is a portfolio selected from a collection of efficient portfolios. To form an optimal portfolio, this study combines the Fama-French Three Factor Model (FF3FM) for stock selection and Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) for stock weight optimization in the portfolio. FF3FM considers more factors resulting in more comprehensive stock selection than other methods. While ACO has the ability to explore the solution space widely and efficiently, minimizing the risk of getting stuck on a local solution. The performance of the optimal portfolio is measured using the Sharpe Ratio which considers total risk, thus providing an overview of overall investment efficiency. The research object used is quarterly stock data on IDX High Dividend 20 from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2020-2023. Of the 20 stocks, 12 stocks were selected that were consistently included in the index during the 2020-2023 period. By selecting stocks using the FF3FM method, 10 efficient stocks were selected, namely ADRO, ASII, BBCA, BBNI, BBRI, INDF, ITMG, PTBA, TLKM, and UNTR. Portfolio optimization using ACO produces a portfolio return of 0.0473 and a risk of 0.0257 with the weight of each ADRO stock of 6.90%, BBCA of 17.24%, BBNI of 10.34%, BBRI of 27.59%, INDF of 3.45%, ITMG of 27.59%, TLKM of 3.45%, and UNTR of 3.45%. The results showed that the integration of FF3FM and ACO was able to form a portfolio with optimal performance with a Sharpe Ratio value of 1.41868, which means that the portfolio return is greater than the portfolio risk.

Abstract

The stock market plays a vital role in supporting economic growth by serving as a primary channel for companies to raise capital and for investors to gain profits through long-term investments. In practice, one of the biggest challenges for investors is identifying which stocks are worth purchasing and how to allocate their funds optimally. One commonly used approach to evaluate stock feasibility is the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM), which helps identify undervalued and overvalued stocks based on the relationship between systematic risk and expected return. Additionally, it is necessary to determine the optimal investment weight allocation. Therefore, this study combines the CAPM method for stock selection and Genetic Algorithm, a metaheuristic approach capable of finding optimal solutions in complex problems, to determine the optimal portfolio weight composition. The object of this study includes stocks listed in the IDX30 index during the period from February 2021 to November 2023. The results show that five stocks—ADRO, BBCA, BBNI, KLBF, and TLKM—are classified as undervalued according to the CAPM method and are recommended for inclusion in the optimal portfolio. Portfolio optimization using the Genetic Algorithm results in the following stock weight composition: ADRO 26.55%, BBCA 36.20%, BBNI 9.09%, KLBF 12.20%, and TLKM 15.96%, with a Sharpe Ratio of 4.043906. The expected return and risk of the optimal portfolio are 0.00067373 and 0.00012407, respectively.
