The research employs a quantitative method with a purposive sampling approach, conducted on consumers of Kopi Kenangan in Pontianak City, West Kalimantan. The sample consists of 207 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using SmartPLS version 4 software with the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach. The results indicate that service quality and store atmosphere have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Furthermore, customer satisfaction has been statistically proven to act as a mediating variable that strengthens the relationship between service quality and store atmosphere, influencing customer loyalty.

Abstract

Employee performance at Pontianak City's public health center (Puskesmas) has recently revealed a gap between the goals outlined in the Health Department's Performance Agreement and actual results.  Emotional intelligence is one of the internal characteristics that may impact performance, as indicated by this condition.  Results from earlier research on the connection between employee performance and emotional intelligence have been mixed.  Furthermore, only a small number of studies—especially in Pontianak City—have positioned job satisfaction as a mediating variable in the context of basic healthcare services.  This study uses job satisfaction as a mediating variable to examine how emotional intelligence affects Puskesmas employees' performance in Pontianak City.  225 Puskesmas employees who were chosen through purposive sampling were given questionnaires as part of a quantitative approach.  Using the SmartPLS software, structural equation modeling, or SEM, was used to analyze the data.  The findings demonstrate that emotional intelligence significantly and favorably affects employee performance as well as job satisfaction.  Additionally, it was discovered that a significant mediating variable in the association between performance and emotional intelligence was job satisfaction.  These results emphasize how crucial it is to enhance job pleasure and cultivate emotional intelligence as calculated measures to boost worker performance.  The practical implication is that in order to improve the quality of public health services in a sustainable manner, Puskesmas management and the Health Department should focus more on the psychological aspects of their workforce.

Abstract

The success of education is greatly influenced by the role of teachers, not only as educators but also as professionals who continuously improve their competencies through reflection and research, one of which is through Classroom Action Research (CAR). This CAR is conducted by teachers to improve the quality of learning and solve problems in the classroom. Despite its importance, many teachers still experience difficulties in writing CAR articles, mainly due to a lack of training in scientific writing. Therefore, this workshop was held to improve academic skills and encourage active participation in scientific writing. This workshop was held offline with 10 teachers. The activity included four main stages: initial planning, socialization, presentation of material by resource persons, discussion and question and answer sessions, and evaluation through post-tests and participant testimonials. The results showed that this workshop was effective in improving teachers' understanding and skills in writing CAR articles.

The population of this study is Gen Z aged 17-25 years. The test tool to see the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 24. The results of this study indicate that social media marketing, brand image, and influencer endorsement have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Trust has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions and significantly mediates social media marketing, brand image, and influencer endorsement on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to explore how job stress and adverse work environment affect the exit intention of Generation Z employees, considering both direct and indirect influences mediated by their performance and engagement at work. The study used a quantitative approach and was conducted in Indonesia. Respondents consisted of 200 Gen Z employees aged 18–27 who currently work at various startups. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) with the help of SmartPLS software 4. Findings showed that job stress and a toxic work environment had a significant and positive influence on the intention to leave. Additionally, employee engagement plays an important role in mitigating the negative impact of stress and toxicity, while employee performance also serves as a mediating variable that influences employees’ decisions to stay or leave. All hypotheses put forward in this study are accepted and reliable. This study is limited to young employees (Gen Z) working in startup companies in Indonesia. The study did not include other generational or industrial groups, as well as did not consider additional factors such as career development opportunities or organizational justice that may also influence intentions to leave.
