Abstract

Nursing practice is sometimes found that patient safety is carried out by nurses at work so that this raises concerns for the public to seek treatment. To determine the determinants that affect patient safety at work. This systematic review begins with a literature review from various sources. Articles were collected using search engines such as PubMed, google schoolar, science direct, ProQuest and Elsevier. The articles used in the study were published from 2018-2023. Articles were searched using keywords that have been determined by the researcher then articles were extracted based on inclusion and exclusion criteria using the PRISMA protocol. Thus, 15 articles were found that matched the critical appraisal criteria for analysis.Based on the articles collected, it was found that patient safety is a topic that has been the subject of much discussion in recent decades. Patient safety is defined as failure to accomplish what was planned or achieving something using the wrong means. In brief, there are two elements to patient safety: a plan and an aim. This means that there are two possible causes of error: the medical provider made the wrong plan and the patient was injured, and the provider made the right plan but there was an error in execution that caused the patient to be injured. These errors can occur due to several things, such as work environment disorders, fatigue, lack of team coordination, and communication failures.Communication, environmental conditions, workload, distraction at work, and staff education are factors that significantly affect patient safety at work. It is expected that nurses in providing health services must improve quality which will be able to provide comfort and quality service to patients in terms of improving patient safety.

Abstract

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by Mycrobacterium Tuberculosis. Indonesia is ranked 3rd largest burden of tuberculosis in the world (8%) after India (27%) and China (9%). The increase in the number of cases in Indonesia continues to increase every year. Although many prevention and management efforts, the spread of tuberculosis bacteria is very easy to spread. This study aims to determine the relationship between hygiene practices and environmental sanitation to the incidence of tuberculosis in the Kesamben Health Center Work Area, Blitar Regency. This study is a quantitative study with a survey design and analytical observation with a retrospective approach (case control). The population of this study was the community in the Kesamben Health Center work area using purposive sampling techniques and 40 respondents were found. Data collection using questionnaires and observation sheets, analyzed using SPSS with Logistic Regression Test with α = 0.05. The results of the statistical test showed that there was a relationship between hygiene practices and the incidence of tuberculosis with a sig value. 0.005 and there is no relationship between environmental sanitation and TB incidence with a sig. value of 0.121. This is because the habit of implementing cleanliness is not practiced, especially the use of masks which are considered to interfere with breathing when doing activities such as working and other activities. It is hoped that further research can develop research related to TB incidence using other variables such as health services, knowledge, PMO and more variables.

Abstract

Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is an infectious disease by dengue virus that is transmitted through the bite of the Aedes Aegypti mosquito, characterized by sudden high fever accompanied by manifestations of bleeding and tends to cause shock and death. The design of this research is quantitative pre-post experimental research with one group pre-test and post-test design. The focus of the research is to analyze health education on the role of health education program at the health center on the knowledge of DHF in Gedog District Sananwetan District, Blitar City before and after the intervention. Total population of 50 respondents with Simple Random Sampling technique and obtained a sample of 44 respondents. The results showed that the majority of respondents had less knowledge in the health category before being given the health education program at the puskesmas program with 24 respondents (54.5%). While the majority of respondents had sufficient knowledge in the category after being given the health education program at the puskesmas program by 21 respondents (47.7%). The Wilcoxon analysis results show that the p-value of 0,000 <0.05 then H0 is rejected so it is concluded that there is an influence of health education in the health center program on DHF knowledge in Gedog Village, Sananwetan Sub-District, Blitar City. With these results it is expected that respondents will conduct monitoring in places that would be mosquito habitat, after that bury items that can become puddles, then drain the tub and close the water reservoirs. Besides that, don't forget to sprinkle the abate on the well. Respondents can also prevent 4M Plus so that mosquitoes cannot breed around our homes.
