The population was 32 immunization officers at the Bumiaji Health Center with a sample of 30 respondents using simple random sampling. The research design used was observational with a cross sectional approach with linear regression statistical tests to determine the factors that influence the Measles Rubella (MR) immunization service in children aged 18-24 months during the pandemic at the Bumiaji Health Center, Batu City. The population was 32 immunization officers at the Bumiaji Health Center with a sample of 30 respondents using simple random sampling. The results of statistical tests showed that the significance results for the knowledge variable were 0.735 > 0.05, the infrastructure variable was 0.000 < 0.05 and the response and empathy variables were 0.456 > 0.05. For the variables of knowledge, response and empathy, Ho is accepted and H1 is rejected, meaning that there is no influence of knowledge or response and empathy to immunization services. While in the infrastructure variable Ho is accepted and H1 is rejected, it means that there is an effect of response and empathy of officers on immunization services. From the results of the study, it was concluded that only infrastructure had an effect on immunization services. In the simultaneous analysis of all variables when analyzed simultaneously on immunization services, there is indeed a significant effect. The Health Office is expected to continue to support increasing knowledge, equipping infrastructure, motivating response and empathy for officers so that Measles Rubella (MR) immunization services for children aged 18-24 months during a pandemic can run even better.

Abstract

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium Tuberculosis. Indonesia ranks third in the world's tuberculosis burden (8%) after India (27%) and China (9%). The increase in the number of incidents in Indonesia continues to increase every year. Even though there are many prevention and management efforts, the spread of tuberculosis bacteria is very easy. This research aims to determine the relationship between practical hygiene. And environmental sanitation against the incidence of TB in the Kesamben Community Health Center Working Area, Blitar Regency. This research is a quantitative research with a survey and analytical observational design with a retrospective approach (case control). The population of this study was the community in the Kesamben Community Health Center working area using purposive sampling technique and found as many as 40 respondents. Data were collected using questionnaires and observation sheets, analyzed using SPSS with Logistic Regression Test with α = 0.05. The statistical test results show that there is a relationship between hygiene practices and the incidence of TB with a sig value. 0.005 and there is no relationship between environmental sanitation and the incidence of TB with a sig value. 0.121. This is because the habit of practicing cleanliness is not being used, especially the use of masks which are considered to interfere with breathing when carrying out activities such as work and other activities. It is hoped that future research can develop research related to the incidence of TB using other variables, for example health services, knowledge, PMO and more variables.

Abstract

Hospital is a health service place that provides services based on safety competency and safety activities that are evaluated using performance assessment. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of patient safety competency on patient safety activities and nurse performance assessment. The independent variable in this study is patient safety competency, nurse performance assessment is the dependent variable while patient safety activity is the mediating variable. The study used an observational analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. Respondents in the study were some nurses at Mardi Waluyo Hospital, Blitar City who had a patient safety competency certificate totaling 159 respondents. The sampling technique used simple random sampling. The results of the regression analysis obtained a significant effect on patient safety competency on patient safety activities and nurse performance assessment with ap value = 0.01. The variable that has a dominant influence is safety competency with a standardized coefficient of 0.327 compared to safety activities in patients with a standardized coefficient of 0.312. The conclusion in this study is that there is an effect of patient safety competency on patient safety activities and nurse performance assessment. The results of the study are in line with previous research and theories which show that patient safety competency has a greater influence on nurse performance assessments directly compared to the presence of patient safety activities as a mediating variable, but it is possible that other factors play a role in the differences in the effects of influence between variables. Hospital policies, safety culture, and the level of awareness of the work team in implementing daily safety practices may play a role in the difference in influencing effects between variables. However, it is also possible that there are other factors such as the attitude and motivation to work of individuals who are considered not to meet the expectations of the leadership.

Abstract

The level of efficiency in bed use in hospitals using 4 (four) parameters, namely Bed Occupancy Ratio (BOR), Average Length of Stay (AvLOS), Internal Turnover (TOI), and Bed Turnover (BTO). Hospitals that do not utilize the Barber-Johnson Chart will have difficulty describing inpatient performance, comparing rooms, and even being unable to control reporting errors. Hospitals use Barber Johnson charts to conduct evaluations to improve efficiency in hospitals. As one of the determining variables of the four parameters, bed capacity cannot be easily reduced or added due to regulations. Adjust the number of beds according to the class needed by the patient; for example, if the patients at the Hospital of Kabupaten Kediri are mostly National Health Insurance class I and class III participants, then the ratio of the number of beds in class I and class III is more than class II, and so on. The BOR value has increased from year to year, along with the number of patients, treatment days, and length of treatment. The AvLOS and TOI scores have met the ideal figures, so the quality of health services at the Hospital of Kabupaten Kediri is good.

Abstract

Employee performance is a key factor in achieving organizational goals, especially in the public service sector such as hospitals. This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership, organizational commitment, and compensation on employee performance at Nganjuk Regional Hospital. Effective leadership, high organizational commitment, and a fair compensation system are expected to increase employee motivation and job satisfaction, which will ultimately have a positive impact on their performance. This study uses a quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample consisted of 262 employees who were selected using the accidental sampling technique. The data was collected by distributing online questionnaires to employees through the whatsapp messaging application with a Google Form link, then analyzed using multiple linear regression. This research discusses the influence of leadership, organizational commitment, and compensation, both simultaneously and partially, on employee performance. The results of the study show that leadership, organizational commitment, and compensation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The significance value obtained is 0.000 < (α=0.05) indicating that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Leadership has the greatest influence, followed by organizational commitment and compensation. These findings support previous theories and research that employee performance is influenced by effective leadership, high organizational commitment, and a fair compensation system. So, the implementation of effective leadership, increasing employee affective organizational commitment, and implementing a fair and transparent performance-based compensation system are considerations for the management of Nganjuk Regional Hospital to improve employee performance and the quality of hospital services.
