Abstract

The purpose of this study to improve the ability to think critically on the material of economic activities by applying the Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending (CORE) learning model for 5th grade students of Elementary School students at semarang on 2018/2019, totalling 21 students. The procedure of this research consisted of 2 cycle, each cycle consisted of 2 learning process. Data collection on this research was done by observating, interviewing, critical thinking testing, and documentating. This research used interactive analysis (Miles and Huberman model) for analyse the research’s data. Based on the results of the study showed that the pre-action class average score was 58.29 (28.57%), it increased to 63,1 (60%) in the first cycle, and it increased to 73.79 (80.95%). Based on the above data it can be concluded that the application of the connecting, organizing, reflecting, extending (CORE) learning models can improve the critical thinking skills of economic activity material in fifth grade students.

Abstract

 This study aims to identify the characteristics of teaching materials needed inlearning Javanese, develop and produce teaching materials "Character Values of PandawaFigures" for Elementary Schools, and analyze their feasibility. The method used is researchand development with the ADDIE model. Data were obtained through observation, interviews,needs questionnaires, and assessment questionnaires from material experts, media experts,practitioners, and art experts. The results of the study include analysis of teaching materialneeds, development process, final product in the form of textbooks, and feasibility test results.The conclusion shows that the teaching materials needed are simple textbooks, easy tounderstand, independent, focused on Pandawa character values, and do not require additionalmaterials. The development follows the ADDIE model, and the results are textbooks that are inaccordance with the needs of educators. The validity of the teaching materials scored 84%from material experts (valid), 90% from media experts (very valid), 75% from practitioners(valid), and 80% from art experts (valid).

Abstract

This study aims to enhance reading comprehension skills through implementation of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition model. The subjects of the study are 26 students of the 4th grade in Pajang II elementary school, Laweyan, Surakarta. This research is Classroom Action Research consist of two cycles. Data collection is done by interviewing, observing, reading comprehension skills test, and document analysis. The data’s validity is done by using content validity, source triangulation, and technical triangulation. The data is analyzed using an interactive analysis model of Miles-Huberman and comparative descriptive model. The result of reading comprehension skills in pretest showed an average of 46,08. Then, in the first cycle, the average increase to 64,98 and become 83,5 on the second cycle. Thus, the conclusion that can be drawn regarding reading comprehension skills in 4th grade students of Pajang II elementary school academic year of 2019/2020 can be enhanced by applying Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition model.l

Abstract

Abstract. This study aimed to increase the descriptive writing skill by using the Concept Sentence model of the second-grade students at Public Elementary School Karangasem II Surakarta in the academic year 2018/2019. The subjects of this study are one teacher and 29-second grade students at Public Elementary School II Surakarta. The type of this research is classroom action research. This research consists of two cycles and every cycle consists of four stages. They are; planning, action, observation, and reflection. In collecting data, the researcher uses: observation, interview, test, and documentation. The data validity test techniques used are; source triangulation, technical triangulation, and content validity. The data analysis technique used in this study is interactive analysis model including data reduction, data display and drawing a conclusion. The finding of this study shows that the application of Concept Sentence model can improve descriptive writing skills students. It can be compared to the  score result in  the pretest and each cycle. In pretest, the classical completeness score of the descriptive writing skill is 13,79%  and then up to 76,42 in the cycle 1, and the score gained in cycle II is 86,21%. It can be concluded that the use of Sentence model can improve the descriptive writing skills of the second grade students at Public elementary School Karangasem II Surakarta in the academic year 2018/2019.Keyword: descriptive writing skills, Concept Sentence model

Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain planning, implementation and assessment held by the teacher in writing poetry learning for grade IV student in SD Negeri 6 Bendungan for the 2022/2023 academic year. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The validity of the data is tested using triangulation method using source triangulation and metodological triangulation. The data is analyze using interactive analysis method, which consists of 3 stages, which are: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. The results showed that (1) planning of writing poetry learning in grade IV SD Negeri 6 Bendungan begins with the preparation of learning objectives (ATP), making teaching modules (MA), and determining the criteria for completing learning objectives (KKTP). (2) The implementation of write poetry learning is carried out for 3 meetings. The first meeting was in the form of initial assessment activities, the second was group assignments, and the third was individual assignments by producing a product in the form of poetry. (3) Assessment of learning is carried out by the teacher using assessment, diagnostic, formative and summative

Abstract

This study aims to describe the analysis of the impact of online learning on reading comprehension skills. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 6 Parakan. Research data collection is done through data collection techniques of observation, interviews and document studies. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 6 Parakan in analyzing reading comprehension skills in fiction stories were still less successful in obtaining reading information, explaining the intrinsic elements of reading, drawing conclusions from the reading, and determining statements that were in accordance with the contents of the reading. from reading. Constraints in reading comprehension skills are the students' lack of interest in reading, lack of reading facilities and the role of parents. The solution to these problems is to foster students' interest in reading, improve reading facilities both at school and at home, and get used to reading from an early age by parents.

Abstract

Abstract. Language is one of the important things for every individual. Language components include listening skills, speaking skills, reading skills, and writing skills. The phenomenon that occurs in students is that they are not yet fluent in reading and cannot apply correct punctuation when reading. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement in reading aloud skills through flipbook media for class II students of SDN 2 Jatipuro in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research was conducted for 3 months and involved 16 class II students of SDN 2 Jatipuro. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Cycle I obtained a completeness of 62.25% with an average of 72.1% included in the good category, but had not reached the research performance indicators. Cycle II obtained an increase of 81.25% with an average of 85.7% included in the very good category. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that the use of flipbook media can improve the reading aloud skills of class II students of SDN 2 Jatipuro in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

Mathematical literacy is the ability to reason and use mathematical concepts to describe and interpret things in context. The study aims to systematically review the literature on factors related to mathematical literacy. The method used in this study is a systematic literature review with procedures including identifying, reviewing, evaluating, and interpreting research. A literature search was carried out via Google Scholar in the 2013–2023 period. The inclusion criteria were Indonesian-language articles that specifically discussed mathematical literacy and its influencing factors. Based on the reviewed articles, this study used four articles that met the requirements. The results of the review show that there are several factors related to mathematical literacy. These factors are classified into internal factors and external factors. The dominant factors that contribute to mathematical literacy are verbal ability as a cognitive aspect and mathematical disposition as a non-cognitive aspect. Thus, these two factors become predictors of mathematical literacy. These two factors can be studied further to determine the extent of their relationship with mathematical literacy. This research is a literature review for research related to factors in mathematical literacy.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is improve the writing skill of poetry by applying the Cooperative Learning Model of Round Table type in grade IV  of  Elementary School of 3 Kalirancang, Alian Sub-district, Kebumen in Academic Year 2018/2019. Classroom Action Research is conducted in two cycles, each cycle consis of  four stages, they are planning, action, observation, and  reflection. The subjects of this study were teachers and  fourth grade students consist 27 students. The data collecting technique are interview, observasion, documentation, and test. The data validity techniqueare content validity and triangultion methods. The data analysis is interactive analysis model (Miles and Huberman). The result of this research, shows that the application of Cooperative Learning Model of Round Table type that can be improve the writing school of poetry. It can be proved by the increasing of the writing poetry skill for each cycle. The percentage of completness in first cycle is 40,74% and increase to 92,59% in second cycle. The conclution of the research is appliying cooperative learning model Round Table type can improve the writing skill of poetry on the IV grade of Elementary School of 3 Kalirancang, Alian Sub-district, Kebumen in Academic Year 2018/2019.Keyword : Cooperative Learning Model Round Table Type,  Writing Skill, Poetry.

Abstract

Abstract..This research aims to improve the ability to analyze poetry elements by implementing cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share in IV grade students of Public Elementary Shcool Ngoresan No. 80 Jebres Year 2018/2019. This research was a Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle had four stages namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subject of this research were 31 IV grade students. The data of this research were collected using test, interview, observation, and documentation technique. The data were analyzed using interactive analysis technique which consisted of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion.The pre-action results show that the students’ average ability to analyze poetry is 59.63 with a classical completeness percentage of 23% who can reach minimal completeness criteria (75). The results of cycle I show that the average ability to analyze poetry improves to 62.93 with a classical completeness percentage of 43%. The results of cycle II show that the average ability to analyze poetry also improves to 80.13 with a classical completeness percentage of 81%.    The conclusion of this research is that the implementation of cooperative learning model type Think Pair Share can improve the ability to analyze poetry elements in the IV grade students of Public Elementary Shcool Ngoresan No. 80 Jebres.Keywords: ability,analyzing the elements of poetry, cooperative learning model type think pair share, elementary school
