Abstract

Academic procrastination is a type of procrastination carried out on types of formal tasks related to academic assignments. This research aims to, determine the effectiveness of self-management technique group counseling in reducing the academic procrastination behavior of FOK 2021 University of Banyuwang students. This research uses quantitative methods. This type of research is a quasi-experiment with a nonequlvalent pretest-posttest group design. The research results show that: Tcount on the output shows the number 19.395, this means there is a decline. If t count > t table, then Ho is rejected. Which means 19.395 > 2.015, thus where Ha reads "Self management technique group counseling is effective in reducing academic procrastination behavior of FOK students class of 2021 at PGRI Banyuwangi University". Apart from that, it was found that the average score of the experimental group when conducting the pretest and posttest was greater than that of the control group (20.1 > 4.5). So it can be concluded that group counseling services with self-management techniques can reduce academic procrastination behavior in FOK 2021 Universitas PGRI Banyuwangi students."

Abstract

This research was motivated by the existence of class VIII junior high school students who experienced reading disorders (dyslexia). The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of tutoring services using a humanistic approach to multisensory techniques to overcome difficulties in learning to read (dyslexia) in class VIII SMP Harapan 2 Genteng. This type of research is qualitative. Data collection techniques used include tests (pre-test, treatment, post-test), observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study show that the pre-test results of students who had difficulty learning to read before being given treatment with multisensory techniques were very low. Students are not yet able to differentiate between several letters that are almost the same and students are not able to read letters that end in consonants (patents). However, after being given treatment with multisensory techniques assisted by reading card learning media, reading wheels and writing sand. Students experience many changes starting from being able to differentiate letters that are almost the same to reading words that end in consonants (patens).

Abstract

Technostress is an impact of technology that produces stressful conditions, due to the flow of technology that continues to develop and run which makes technology users unable to organize activities and manage themselves. So that the formulation of the problem: What factors can cause emotional regulation in students to be low towards the use of technology and How to role of Cognitive Restructuring techniques in improving the ability to manage student emotional regulation in dealing with technostress? The method used in this study uses qualitative research methods with the type of Retrospective Case Study. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data that has been obtained is collected to find the validity of the data using data triangulation, data presentation and drawing conclusions from the research that has been carried out. The results showed that there are symptoms of technostress triggering factors, liked Techno Invasion and Techno Overload to other factors that can affect the ability to regulate emotions in a person, including stressors, age factors, cognitive zelazo, social and cultural aspects, so factor gives encouragement to technology users be dependent on the use of technology itself. The role that can be done to improve the ability to manage emotional regulation in the face of technostress itself can be given treatment as a intervention to reduce addiction to technology. The role of cognitive restructuring techniques in the CBT approach is needed to change the behavior of technology users to control and reduce the use of technology itself.

Peran Bimbingan Kelompok dalam Mencegah Prokrastinasi Akademik Pada Siswa SMA Muhammadiyah Disamakan Makassar.  Dibimbing oleh Ratna Wulandari, S.Pd., M.Pd dan Sandi Pratama, S.Pd.I.,M.Pd Prodi Bimbingan dan Konseling Pendidikan Islam.             Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan kelompok dalam mencegah prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa SMA Muhammadiyah Disamakan Makassar serta untuk mengetahui peran layanan bimbingan kelompok terhadap upaya pencegahan prokrastinasi akademik.             Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu siswa yang menunjukkan perilaku prokrastinasi akademik dan bersedia mengikuti layanan bimbingan kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan kelompok di SMA Muhammadiyah Disamakan Makassar dilakukan secara bertahap dan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan siswa. Layanan ini membantu memberikan dukungan sosial,mengidentifikasi masalah, mengembangkan strategi manajemen waktu, meningkatkan motivasi belajar, meningkatkan keterampilan pengambilan keputusan. Peran bimbingan kelompok terbukti membantu siswa mengurangi kebiasaan prokrastinasi akademik, meningkatkan kesadaran manajemen waktu, menumbuhkan motivasi belajar, serta melatih tanggung jawab akademik. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok merupakan salah satu strategi penting dalam mencegah prokrastinasi akademik pada siswa SMA Muhammadiyah Disamakan Makassar.   Kata Kunci: Bimbingan Kelompok, Prokrastinasi Akademik

Abstract

Background: One of the common problems experienced by postpartum mothers is low breast milk production. Sauropus androgynus (katuk leaves) and Phoenix dactylifera (dates) are known to contain galactagogue compounds that can stimulate prolactin and oxytocin hormones to enhance breast milk production. Purpose: To determine the effect of date extract and katuk leaves on increasing breast milk production among postpartum mothers in the working area of Midwife N Private Practice, Bandung Regency. Method: This research employed a quasi-experimental design with a two-group pretest-posttest approach. The sample consisted of two treatment groups, each comprising 10 respondents. The first group consumed 45 grams (3 tablespoons) of date extract once daily for seven days, while the second group consumed 100 grams of katuk leaves daily for seven days. Data was analyzed using paired sample t-tests and independent t-tests. Results:The results showed that the mean breast milk volume before consuming date extract was 4.3 ml and increased to 57 ml after the intervention, with a mean difference of 52.7 ml (p = 0.000). In the katuk leaf group, the average milk production increased from 4.9 ml to 68 ml, with a mean difference of 63.1 ml (p = 0.000). There was a significant difference between the two interventions (p = 0.000), indicating that katuk leaves had a greater effect on increasing breast milk production compared to date extract. Conclusion: There is a difference of date palm extract and katuk leaves in increasing breast milk production in postpartum mothers. Suggestion: It is recommended that postpartum mothers consume katuk leaves and date extract as natural alternatives to enhance breast milk production

Abstract

Tribolium confusum Jacquelin du Val (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae) is a major stored product pest that can damage flour in storage. The infestation of T. confusum causes contamination of stored grain, such as flour. Research about the population growth of T. confusum in various commercial and non-commercial flours is still limited. This study aims to determine the population growth of T. confusum in various commercial and non-commercial flours. The study was conducted using the no-choice test method (NCTM). This study used a treatment jar containing 30 g of diet and infested 15 pairs of T. confusum adults for 7 days. Data obtained from this research were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and further analyzed using the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at a 5% significance level. The results showed that the number of larvae, pupae, and F1 progeny of T. confusum was higher in non-commercial red rice flour (80, 50 individuals; 59, 50 individuals; 57, 50 individuals) compared to other types of flour. The chemical characteristics of diets that can affect the population growth of T. confusum include fat, ash, carbohydrate, and phenol content. In conclusion, understanding the chemical characteristics of flour is crucial for developing a strategy to control T. confusum.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has opened up new opportunities in education, including for students with special needs who often face obstacles in acquiring career skills, resulting in low career literacy and impacting their career readiness. This study aims to develop a digital career literacy-based gamification application as an innovative learning medium to improve the career readiness of students with special needs, with a scope covering design, development, and testing in accordance with their cognitive characteristics and learning needs. The study used a simplified Borg & Gall R&D model consisting of five stages, involving 30 students with special needs from inclusive schools in East Java, with instruments in the form of expert validation questionnaires, career readiness tests, and observations of student engagement. The results showed that the expert validation of the media obtained an average score of 88.5% (highly valid), the expert validation of the material was 91.2% (highly feasible), student engagement was 85%, and there was a significant increase in career readiness with an average pretest score of 62.4 to a posttest score of 82.7, or an increase of 32.5%. The digital career literacy gamification application has been proven to be valid, practical, and effective in improving the career readiness of students with special needs. Future research is recommended to involve a more diverse subject group and integrate adaptive technology for more optimal results.

Abstract

Layanan Konseling Individual Terhadap Pemulihan Psikologis Korban Kasus Kekerasan Seksual Di UPTD Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak Kota Makassar. Dibimbing oleh Sandi Pratama dan Ratna Wulandari. Prodi Bimbingan dan Konseling Pendidikan Islam.             Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan layanan konseling individual terhadap pemulihan psikologis korban kasus kekerasan seksual Di UPTD PPA Kota Makassar, serta untuk mengetahui peran layanan konseling individual terhadap pemulihan psikologis korban kasus kekerasan seksual di UPTD PPA Kota Makassar.             Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, yang menekankan pada makna, penalaran, definisi situasi tertentu lebih banyak meneliti ke hal-hal kehidupan sehari-hari, dalam teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni teknik purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh hasil wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan layanan konseling individual di UPTD PPA Kota Makassar dilakukan secara bertahap dan disesuaikan dengan kondisi masing-masing konseli. Layanan individual mencakup menerima diri sendiri, menyesuaikan diri, memahami dan memecahkan masalahnya sendiri, serta mengambil keputusan. Peran layanan konseling individual terbukti signifikan dalam membantu konseli mengurangi rasa malu, meningkatkan rasa percaya diri, menerima diri sendiri, mengurangi pikiran negatif-negatif serta mampu kembali beraktivitas dan berinteraksi dengan orang lain. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu layanan konseling individual menjadi salah satu intervensi penting dalam pemulihan psikologis pasca kekeran seksual. Abstract

Angka kematian ibu di Indonesia masih menjadi masalah kesehatan yang serius, salah satunya disebabkan oleh hipertensi dalam kehamilan yang berisiko berkembang menjadi preeklamsia dan eklampsia. Upaya pencegahan efektif perlu difokuskan pada edukasi mengenai deteksi dini, pencegahan, dan penanganan awal hipertensi pada ibu hamil. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pelaksanaan edukasi hipertensi di Puskesmas Sawangan, Kota Depok, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan dan peluang pengembangan media edukasi yang lebih efektif. Penelitian menggunakan desain kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi eksploratif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap 12 informan, terdiri dari tenaga kesehatan dan ibu hamil, pada Mei–Juni 2025. Analisis tematik menghasilkan lima tema utama: kesenjangan informasi, peran tenaga kesehatan sebagai sumber pengetahuan, keterbatasan pemanfaatan media edukasi, variasi sikap ibu hamil dalam merespons edukasi, serta kurangnya monitoring pascaedukasi yang menyebabkan keberlanjutan pengetahuan tidak optimal. Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan pengembangan media edukasi inovatif, seperti grup WhatsApp, leaflet, dan video dengan bahasa sederhana, serta penerapan model edukasi terpadu yang mengombinasikan metode digital dan tatap muka. Edukasi hipertensi di Puskesmas Sawangan masih menghadapi kendala, tetapi berpotensi ditingkatkan melalui strategi media edukasi yang adaptif dan integratif.

Abstract

Keterampilan membaca Bahasa Inggris merupakan kompetensi penting bagi siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA), khususnya dalam menghadapi Ujian Nasional dan seleksi masuk Perguruan Tinggi. Namun, siswa dari kalangan anak jalanan sering mengalami keterbatasan akses pendidikan, fasilitas pembelajaran, serta pendampingan literasi yang memadai. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Bahasa Inggris, khususnya dalam menentukan gagasan utama (main idea), melalui Program Reading Bridge Initiative. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada Semester Ganjil Tahun Akademik 2025/2026 di Yayasan Bina Insan Mandiri Kota Depok dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 85 siswa jenjang setara SMA. Metode yang digunakan adalah 1–1 Active Reading Drill, yaitu latihan membaca singkat selama 15 menit yang berfokus pada satu keterampilan inti. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan peserta dalam menjawab soal Reading Bahasa Inggris. Jumlah siswa yang mampu menjawab soal dengan benar secara penuh meningkat dari 40 siswa pada pre-test menjadi 65 siswa pada post-test. Selain peningkatan kognitif, peserta juga menunjukkan peningkatan kepercayaan diri dalam menghadapi teks Bahasa Inggris. Dengan demikian, Program Reading Bridge Initiative terbukti efektif sebagai model pendampingan literasi Bahasa Inggris yang sederhana, aplikatif, dan relevan bagi komunitas peserta didik dengan keterbatasan akses pendidikan.
