Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan rendahnya self-confidence siswa dalam Pendidikan Jasmani di SD Inpres Tamalanrea 1, Kota Makassar. Rendahnya kepercayaan diri ini teridentifikasi berkorelasi dengan pembelajaran yang belum optimal berfokus pada penguasaan keterampilan motorik dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi dan simulasi partisipatif yang melibatkan siswa dan guru. Kegiatan ini memberikan pemahaman teoretis mengenai hubungan kausal antara penguasaan motorik dasar dan self-confidence, serta memberikan praktik langsung melalui permainan motorik yang dirancang secara suportif dan inklusif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan perubahan perilaku yang signifikan pada siswa. Observasi kualitatif menemukan adanya peningkatan partisipasi aktif, keberanian untuk mencoba (willingness to try) tugas motorik baru, dan resiliensi yang lebih baik saat menghadapi kegagalan. Kegiatan ini berhasil memberikan pengalaman keberhasilan (mastery experiences) yang secara langsung membangun kepercayaan diri siswa. Umpan balik dari guru mitra juga sangat positif, menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan komitmen untuk melanjutkan metode pembelajaran yang suportif ini.

Abstract

This article examines the role of the state in shaping identity politics that lead to violence, through comparative case studies of the Rohingya conflict in Myanmar and the Israel-Palestine conflict. Using the theoretical framework of securitization and identity politics, this qualitative comparative research analyzes how governments in both cases construct certain identity groups as security threats. The findings indicate that in both Myanmar and the Israel-Palestine conflict, state actors actively engaged in “securitization”, portraying ethnic or religious minority identities as existential threats, to justify repressive policies and violence. In Myanmar, the regime mainstreamed a narrative of threat to Buddhist national identity to legitimize the repression and ethnic cleansing of the Rohingya. Meanwhile, in the Israel-Palestine conflict, the State of Israel emphasizes the state’s Jewish identity and securitizes the Palestinian population as a threat, resulting in military occupation and human rights violations. The study concludes that identity politics securitized by the state can fuel violent conflict and neglect the human security of oppressed groups. These findings contribute to the understanding of identity conflicts, state violence, and human security in international relations by elucidating linkages between state-driven identity construction, securitization, and violence against minorities. Abstract

Rendahnya aktivitas fisik dan dominasi perilaku sedentari pada siswa sekolah dasar menjadi permasalahan serius yang diperparah oleh minimnya pemahaman guru Pendidikan Jasmani mengenai konsep physical literacy. Pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman guru dan siswa di SD Inpres Rappokalling 2 Makassar melalui sosialisasi dan pendampingan aktivitas berbasis physical literacy. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui metode ceramah untuk penguatan konsep guru dan demonstrasi permainan modifikasi (game-based learning) yang melibatkan siswa secara langsung. Intervensi ini berhasil mengubah paradigma guru dari pendekatan teknis (drills) menjadi pendekatan holistik. Penerapan permainan yang mengintegrasikan aspek fisik, kognitif, sosial, dan psikologis terbukti meningkatkan antusiasme dan kepercayaan diri siswa secara signifikan. Pendekatan physical literacy disimpulkan efektif menjadi solusi strategis dalam membangun budaya gerak aktif dan menanggulangi gaya hidup sedentari di lingkungan sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan mengatasi rendahnya aplikasi konsep Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS) pada pembelajaran PJOK di SD Inpres Timbuseng, Kabupaten Gowa, yang menyebabkan pembelajaran cenderung monoton. Menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Learning, kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui tahapan sosialisasi konsep, pelatihan permainan, dan implementasi praktik lapangan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kompetensi pedagogis guru dalam merancang pembelajaran berbasis permainan yang mengintegrasikan keterampilan lokomotor, manipulatif, dan stabilitas. Temuan lapangan mengonfirmasi bahwa penerapan model ini efektif meningkatkan active learning time dan antusiasme siswa secara drastis, sekaligus meminimalisir kebosanan akibat metode drill konvensional. Disimpulkan bahwa program ini berhasil mentransformasi paradigma pengajaran dari orientasi cabang olahraga (sport-based) menjadi orientasi gerak dasar (movement-based) yang menyenangkan dan inklusif bagi tumbuh kembang siswa

Abstract

Pada saat ini seluruh negara dilanda pandemi Covid-19, hal ini juga telah mengubah kebiasaan masyarakat sehingga dengan adanya pandemi mempengaruhi dunia pendidikan, tidak terkecuali dengan pembelajan PAI. Pembelajaran PAI mempunyai peran yang penting untuk para siswa saat dalam menghadapi pandemi Covid-19. Karena pada hakikatnya bahwa PAI merupakan pelajaran yang mengajarkan tentang keimanan, pemahaman, penghayatan, dan juga pengalaman para siswa tentang agama islam. Tujuan dari penelitian tersebut adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengetahui bagaimana perencanaan pembelajaran PAI pada saat pandemi Covid-19, kondisi pembelajaran PAI pada saat pandemi Covid-19, dan juga problematika pembelajaran PAI pada saat pandemi Covid-19 di SDN 4 Bendungan. Dari hal tersebut, terdapat beberapa implikasi diantaranya adalah dampak BDR terhadap sekolah, pengajar, murid, dan wali murid. Sehingga terdapat beberapa narasumber yang mewakilkan sekolah, pengajar, murid, dan wali murid di SD Negeri 4 Bendungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Dalam penelitian kualitatif pengumpulan data dilakukan pada natural setting (kondisi yang alamiah). Data dikumpulkan menggunakan wawancara yang bersifat terbuka. Wawancara pada wali murid melalui aplikasi WhatsApp terkait dengan kendala yang terlihat saat pembelajaran di masa pandemi. Sehingga dari pembahasan tersebut, kita dapat mengetahui problematika yang dialami oleh sekolah, pengajar, murid dan wali murid di SD Negeri 4 Bendungan Responden penelitian ini adalah guru PAI, kepala sekolah, wali murid dan dua orang siswa SD Negeri 4 Bendungan.

Abstract

Sediment provenance and weathering history are used to understand sedimentary processes and to explore mineral potential in coastal–marine systems in the Limau Waters. Therefore, the characteristics of seabed and coastal sediments need to be determined. This study aims to identify the source rocks, paleoweathering signatures, and sediment maturity of both seabed and coastal sediments through a geochemical approach. A geochemical approach that integrates major oxide and rare earth element (REE) analyses, the paleoweathering, and sediment maturity indices, is used to identify the source rocks of these sediments. Major oxides elements were measured using X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and REE concentrations were determined using inductively coupled plasma - optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) and inductively coupled plasma optical - mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Geochemical discrimination diagrams indicate that seabed sediments are mainly derived from intermediate to felsic igneous rocks with higher compositional maturity, whereas coastal sediments are influenced by mafic volcanic rocks and are comparatively immature in composition. Both sediment types exhibit weak chemical weathering (CIA < 70), suggesting limited alteration of young volcanic sources. The CIA–ICV relationships portray contrast sediment transport and depositional processes between the coastal and marine environments. This study is expected to provide a geochemical-based framework for provenance analysis and to support the development of insights for future marine mineral exploration in the Limau Waters area.

Abstract

Salahnama and Pandang Islands lie on the main range of the granite province; both islands are located in the Sunda Shelf, Malacca Straits. These islands are composed of intrusive rocks from Berhala. The rock’s existence will offer a significant contribution to the distribution of surface sediments in the surroundings. The sea dynamics and the geometry of the Malacca Strait will also have an impact on the seabed. Apart from that, global factors such as sea level changes will lead to transformation of the depositional environment and subsurface geology in the strait. Geological conditions of the seabed surface and subsurface can be understood and interpreted based on the acoustic characteristics and reflector patterns of a seismic section. Then, based on the acoustic character and reflector pattern, an acoustic facies can be defined. Seismic data measurements have been carried out around Salahnama and Pandang Islands in 2024. Based on the results of the seismic section, the acoustic facies in the study area are classified into 6 (six), which include AF I – AF VI. Seabed morphological features in the form of sand dunes were identified in the first acoustic facies (AF I); this feature is formed due to geometric aspects, surface currents, and bottom current's which may or may not be triggered by tidal vortices. Acoustic Facies II (AF II) is characterized by sandwave or ripple marks formed by strong seabed currents. AF III was formed after the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM) ended and the depositional environment returned to a shallow marine environment, characterized by a transparent pattern in the seismic section. The erosional truncation at the upper boundary of AF IV indicates a change in the depositional environment from shallow marine to coastal or terrestrial environments during the Last Glacial Maximum period. AF V is acoustic bedrock, and AF VI is characterized by a chaotic pattern, which is interpreted as granitic intrusive rocks.

Abstract

Bullying in multicultural elementary schools in Jambi Province has shown a significant increase, posing serious risks to children’s psychosocial development. This study aims to explore the experiences of teachers, counselors, and students in addressing bullying, identify intercultural values relevant to counseling practices, and construct a conceptual framework for an intercultural counseling module grounded in Jambi’s local wisdom. A qualitative Grounded Theory approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and focus group discussions. Data were analyzed using open, axial, and selective coding, and validated through source triangulation and expert review. The findings indicate that bullying is influenced by individual factors, socio-cultural dynamics, and school environmental conditions. The analysis resulted in a conceptual model of an intercultural counseling module integrating cross-cultural empathy, local wisdom, and preventive and curative strategies. The study contributes a culturally grounded and practice-oriented framework to advance intercultural guidance and counseling in multicultural elementary school settings

Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of YouTube on children who experience speech delay at Harapan Mulia Special School. This research is qualitative with descriptive method, involving one teacher and two parents of two students as informants. Data were analyzed through interviews, observation, and documentation, with data validity tested using source triangulation. The results showed that YouTube affects MEE children who experience speech delay, making their speech development impaired because it is difficult to concentrate and communicate. The child prefers to be alone and watch YouTube rather than interact. Teachers at SLB Harapan Mulia handle speech delay with various stimuli to encourage socialization, and evaluate the child's development after therapy. The effect of YouTube on elementary school children with speech delay also shows that frequent YouTube viewing inhibits their language skills and vocabulary. These children are shy to speak in front of friends and are less responsive when spoken to. Teachers at SLB Harapan Mulia educate parents on the importance of monitoring the duration, frequency and type of YouTube viewing, as well as the importance of communication and interaction to stimulate children's language development.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the process of developing pop up book media to deal with students who behave aggressively. The research method used in this research is research and development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall development stages which have been simplified by Sutja, namely there are five stages including preliminary study, product development, product validation and revision, limited trials and product revision. TheresearchwasconductedatSDN197/IXPematangGajahwith the subject of aggressive behavior that occurred in grade 4 students. The data collection technique used was validation sheets from material experts, media experts and practitioners. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis.
