Abstract

Multimedia sangat dibutuhkan dalam proses pembelajaran khususnya bagi guru. Peran gurumerupakan kunci utama dalam pengelolaan proses pembelajaran dikelas. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk mempermudah para guru untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran daring. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan dalam pelatihan pada kegiatan ini meliputi ceramah bervariasi dan latihan atau praktek. Hasil pelatihan yang akan dicapai berupa persepsi guru menjadi lebih leluasa memilih model, metode, maupun media yang di terapkan di masa pembelajaran daring melalui media pembelajaran online google classroom. Sebelum diberikan pelatihan, guru-guru SD Negeri 091316 Kabupaten Simalungun 100% belum pernah mengunakan media pembelajaran online google classroom, namun setelah pelatihan pembelajaran daring yang diberikan, para guru merasa bahwa dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran online google classroom dapat mempermudah proses penyampaian materi dalam proses pembelajaran.  Hasilnya seluruh guru-guru SD Negeri 091316 Kabupaten Simalungun setuju bahwa Google Classroom memuaskan dalam penggunaannya guna mendukung proses berjalannya pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a learning model Batakologi and lead innovative module products with constructivist approaches, for class VIII Junior High School. Data collected in the research and development using qualitative descriptive analysis of the implementation and results of the design development of the model. The development consists of three steps, namely (1) the preliminary draft that consisted of literature studies, requirements analysis, and documentation, (2) the development stage consists of the development of learning Batakologi, syllabi, evaluations, expert validation and revision (3) the implementation phase consisting of limited testing and revision, eld trials and revisions, and the final model. The product of this research is the book Batakologi Innovative learning modules and teacher guidebooks that the application can be used by students and teachers, the source comes from the tradition of the Batak culture.

Abstract

The online learning system (in the network) is a learning system without face to face directly between teachers and students but is carried out online using the internet network. Educators must ensure that teaching and learning activities continue to run according to the demands of the curriculum, even though students are at home. With a situation like this, teachers are required to make learning innovations related to the media that will be used to deliver online learning effectively. The diversity of teacher competency levels in carrying out online learning requires socialization activities for online classroom management in terms of using google classroom and making learning videos uploaded to youtube. Seeing these conditions, the service team from HKBP Nommensen University lecturers collaborated with school leaders at SMA Negeri 1 Sidikalang in terms of conducting socialization activities and online classroom management training through the learning media of google classroom and making learning videos uploaded on youtube. The results of the collaboration in the form of community service activities carried out can help teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Sidikalang as evidenced by the average teacher already having online classes and being able to manage online classes through Google Classroom and make good learning videos.

Abstract

This study aims to understand John 14:1-14 by using the social-scientific exegetical method. The research prioritizes a historical review and explanation of historical writings on the Way and the Truth and Life from the Old Testament (OT) to New Testament (NT) times. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life in the face of today's postmodern relativism. The results of the study conclude that "Jesus is life (eternal)" and "Jesus is the truth," where the Church and the people of Jesus (the Church) can dialogue and apply the relative truth in love, justice, and social liberation.

Abstract

This research is "Empowering the role of parents for Sunday school children in increasing the value of offerings at the HKBP Resort Siantar Timur in 2020/2021". The role referred to in this case is the important task of parents in guiding, fostering children to increase awareness of children giving their offerings every Sunday at church. The relationship between father and mother must truly cultivate love in accordance with God's will for the child. In collecting the research data, a closed questionnaire (questionnaire) was used which was distributed and filled out by the respondents. Through this study, the authors hope to find out the extent to which the role of parents in empowering Sunday school children through empowerment in their respective families so that children, as the next generation can reach his goals and his life becomes the glory of God. The results of this study, the Church will increasingly equip parents in their service tasks. It is proven from the results of data X and data Y, each in the form of a normal distribution, using the formula: Chi squared (X2) table with a level of significance = 0.05, namely For data X (Role of parents) X2count = -166.27 while X2table = 9.49. And for data Y (Increasing awareness of children giving offerings) Y2count = -92.13 while Y2table = 9.49. Furthermore, the value of t-count = 4.58> ttable = 1.68, which means that there is a good relationship between the role of parents in raise awareness of children giving offerings.

Abstract

In ancient near eastern times, the phenomenon of status differences or degrees between men and women was considered normal. Even at the time of Jesus, this phenomenon was still powerful. In the religious community, this difference can still be seen by referring to one of the texts of 1 Corinthians 11:7-12. In the text, it can be seen that there is an emphasis on the different positions of men and women who are considered wildly different when they enter into a fellowship. However, theologically all humans are equal before God. Can it be said that it is just and right if this phenomenon continues to be maintained without a more robust and biblical reason? For a reason, analysis verses 7-12, the meaning of the text and context does not emphasize the differences in the degrees of men and women. Instead, it emphasizes the equality of status in the sight of God. Even if women had to cover their heads when entering the worship room at the time, that only referred to the customs or culture of that era which emphasized the element of politeness in the community so that women would not become a stumbling block in the fellowship.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan yaitu untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE dan memiliki 5 tahap pengembangan yaitu analysis (analisis), design (desain), development (pengembangan), implementation (penerapan), dan evaluation (evaluasi). Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 30 orang siswa kelas VIII–3 SMP Swasta Katolik Budi Murni–2 Medan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, angket dan tes. Dari hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan sudah layak dipergunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar terkhusus materi kubus dan balok, hal ini terlihat melalui hasil validasi materi dengan persentase 75% kategori layak dengan aspek penilaian materi, bahasan serta penelitian dan hasil validasi media dengan persentase 76,71% kategori layak dengan aspek penilaian tampilan, audio, isi, dan kemudahan penggunaan. Media yang dikembangkan juga praktis melalui hasil pengukuran kepraktisan dan memperoleh hasil 81,32% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Hasil pengukuran peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan tes dan memperoleh hasil 0,59 dengan kategori sedang menggunakan uji–gain. Hasil penelitian yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Articulate Storyline 3 yang dikembangkan sudah layak dan praktis, dan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. ABSTRACTThe purpose this study to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts. This study uses the ADDIE development model and has 5 stages of development, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The sample in this study was 30 students of class VIII-3, Budi Murni Catholic Private Junior High School-2 Medan. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, questionnaires and tests. From the results of the study, it shows that the learning media developed is feasible to be used as a learning medium in the material for building flat sides, especially for cubes and blocks, this can be seen through the results of material validation with a percentage of 75% in the appropriate category with aspects of material assessment, discussion and writing and results. media validation with a percentage of 76.71% eligible category with aspects of display, audio, content, and ease of use assessment. The media developed was also practical through the results of practicality measurements and obtained 81.32% results in the very practical category. The results of the measurement of increasing students' mathematical concept understanding abilities with tests and obtaining results of 0.59 in the medium category using the gain-test. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Articulate Storyline 3 learning media developed is feasible and practical, and is able to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts.

Abstract

Pendidikan saat ini tidak terlepas dari penggunaan alat teknologi yang mendukung kemajuan pendidikan. Salah satu pemanfaatan teknologi adalah penggunaan media pembelajaran. Guru dapat berinovasi dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif adalah dengan menggunakan software Articulate Storyline 3, Powtoon, Geogebra, dan CapCut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-7 SMP Negeri 7 Medan yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan valid dan layak digunakan. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil skor validasi ahli materi 82,22%, validasi ahli media 83,33% yang berada pada kategori “sangat layak”. Kepraktisan media oleh guru memperoleh persentase 84% dan skor kepraktisan oleh siswa 85,25% dengan kategori “sangat praktis”. Keefektifan media pembelajaran ditunjukkan oleh adanya peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa melalui soal pretest dan posttest dengan rata-rata peningkatan 33,4 sedangkan uji N-Gain menunjukkan peningkatakan sebesar 0,694 serta respon siswa sebesar 84%. Sehingga media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan valid, praktis dan efektif. Kata kunci: media pembelajaran, multimedia interaktif, kevalidan, kepraktisan, keefektifan, kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Abstrack Education today is inseparable from the use of technological tools that support educational progress. One of the uses of technology is the use of learning media. Teachers can help in developing interactive multimedia-based learning media by using Articulate Storyline 3 software, Powtoon, Geogebra, and CapCut. The purpose of this research is to produce valid, practical, and effective interactive multimedia-based learning media. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII-7 SMP Negeri 7 Medan which accommodated 30 students. This study uses the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The results showed that the interactive multimedia-based learning media developed was valid and feasible to use. This is shown from the results of the material expert validation score of 82.22%, the media expert validation of 83.33% which is in the "very feasible" category. The practicality of the media by the teacher obtained a percentage of 84% and the practicality score by students was 85.25% in the "very practical" category. The effectiveness of learning media is indicated by an increase in students' mathematical problem solving skills through pretest and posttest questions, while the N-Gain test shows an increase of 0.694 and student responses of 84%. So that the interactive multimedia-based learning media developed is valid, practical and effective.Keywords: learning media, interactive multimedia, validity, practicality, effectiveness, mathematical problem solving ability.

Abstract

Conservation of nature, maintaining the balance of the ecosystem is an inseparable part of the divine mandate of God. Preserving nature and the balance of ecosystems means that we have done part of the faith. Community service by providing education on nature conservation is carried out to give residents a better understanding. The activity was carried out by selecting a group of residents in Pintubesi, especially Hindus. This implementation is based on the location of Pintubesi hamlet, Laurakit village in Deliserdang district, around (surrounded) nature with green forests. The life of the majority of residents is not farming, and a small number of broiler breeders. Therefore, to support nature conservation and maintain ecosystems, it is necessary to provide understanding to the residents there. The implementation of the activity uses the extension method by preparing materials and some practical materials during the extension. Meanwhile, residents were selected from a Hindu community to provide concentration and focus on counseling and monitoring after the counseling. From several counseling sessions, pleasant results were obtained regarding the understanding and awareness of participants in preserving nature and the role of humans in maintaining the balance of the ecosystem. Participants enthusiastically participated in each counseling session and arrived on time. Awareness and responsibility for conserving the surrounding nature are united by maintaining one's own farmland. Preserving and maintaining nature has been asked to become a lifestyle.

Abstract

Kampus Mengajar Program aims to help equalize national education. This program is very much needed by schools with the background of Frontier, Remote and Disadvantaged (3T) or schools with C/B accreditation. Kampus Mengajar becomes a ledge for students and lecturers to participate in advancing national education. This program runs for 5 months or one semester. Kampus Mengajar Students Batch 3 performs 3 main tasks at the assignment, namely teaching, assisting with technology adaptation, and assisting school administration. SD Negeri 091355 Urung Panei is one of the target schools for the Kampus Mengajar. This school has a C accreditation and is in dire need of assistance, especially in improving students' literacy and numeracy skills. SD Negeri 091355 Urung Panei also needs additional teaching staff due to the shortage of teachers. Schools also need help to re-invigorate students' learning enthusiasm after 1.5 years of the COVID-19 pandemic.
