Abstract

Program “Ners Cilik” merupakan upaya pemberdayaan siswa sebagai pelopor kesehatan di sekolah yang sejalan dengan tujuan Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS). Pemberdayaan siswa ini membutuhkan pendekatan yang berkelanjutan agar dampak positifnya dapat bertahan lama. Siswa yang mengikuti program ini akan terus berganti setiap tahunnya seiring dengan kenaikan kelas. Oleh karenanya perlu kembali dihidupkan secara rutin agar siswa baru dapat mengikuti jejak pendahulunya dalam mendukung kesehatan di sekolah. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penguatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada siswa kelas 4 dan 5 Sekolah Dasar sebagai Ners Cilik. Dengan melibatkan 30 siswa, kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode kombinasi ceramah, demonstrasi, pemutaran video, dan sesi tanya jawab. Materi yang diberikan yaitu pengenalan Ners Cilik, Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) termasuk di dalamnya pencegahan terhadap penyakit menular dan tidak menular, serta Pertolongan Pertama Pada Kecelakaan (P3K). Evaluasi dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan dengan hasil menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata dari 64,76 menjadi 72,38. Dengan peningkatan ini diharapkan siswa dapat berperan aktif dalam membantu meningkatkan kesehatan di sekolah dengan menyebarkan informasi dan melakukan aksi nyata untuk mewujudkan lingkungan sekolah sehat.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students' lack of focus during lessons, the limited variety of learning media, the predominance of lecture-based teaching methods, and the heavy reliance on LKS (student worksheets) with minimal use of instructional aids such as learning media. Additionally, the school had never used the spinning wheel media for teaching addition and subtraction. To address these issues, the researcher aimed to develop a spinning wheel learning medium for addition and subtraction material, enrich the available learning media at the school, and produce a learning medium that is valid, practical, and effective. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) approach, applying the ADDIE development model which consists of: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of this research and development process produced a teaching material in the form of a spinning wheel media for addition and subtraction, designed for Mathematics learning in Grade 1 at SDN 18 Sitiung. Validation was conducted by three validators. The teaching module validation test received a score of 80%, material validation 92%, media validation 85%, and language validation 100% all categorized as valid. In terms of practicality, the spinning wheel media received a score of 93% from teachers and 94% from students, classified as practical. The effectiveness test, conducted with 15 students using the developed spinning wheel media during learning, showed an average score of 86.66%, categorized as effective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat dampak yang dihasilkan dari pemberdayaan yang dilakukan dengan membentuk kelompok wanita tani di Kecamatan Desa Mantang. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa metode Kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan data dilakukannya wawancara terhadap Ketua dan angota dari Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) yang ada di Desa Mantang Lama dan Mantang Riau dengan nama Kelompok Wanita Tani Tunas Jaya, hasil temuan yang didapatkan bahwa adanya dampak yang dihasilkan dari pemberdayaan kelompok wanita tani yang dibentuk, dampaknya berupa adanya peningkatan pengetahuan, meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat Desa Mantang, dan terdapat kesetaraan gender yang di hasilkan. Dan pemberdayaan ini juga dapat meminimalisir permasalahan yang ada di masyarakat terutama para wanita yang ada di Desa Mantang Lama dan Mantang Riau.

Abstract

Most minor injuries in schools involve bruises, abrasions, lacerations and open wounds, often occurring during sports and recreational activities. Factors such as age, gender and lack of understanding of environmental hazards increase the risk of injury in school-aged children. In addition, lack of knowledge and skills in providing first aid can also exacerbate the severity of the injury. Education through animated videos has been shown to be effective in improving knowledge and positive attitudes towards injuries and first aid. This study aims to determine the effect of animated videos on the knowledge of first aid for minor injuries among elementary school students at SDN 38 Sungai Raya. This study uses quantitative research that uses quasi-experimental methods with One Group planning, pretest and posttest. The sampling method in this study is using the total sampling technique. The research subjects totaled 60 people consisting of 4th and 5th grade students of SDN 38 Sungai Raya. Data were collected by distributing pretest questionnaires, showing animated videos on first aid for minor injuries, and distributing posttest questionnaires. The results of the study obtained an average pretest value of 59.17 and an average posttest value of 80.17. Followed by the wiicoxon test the results of p value = 0.000 ≤ 0.05 which means that there is an effect of increasing the knowledge score of students who are given animated videos and it is hoped that video animation can increase students' knowledge in preventing minor injuries and applying first aid for minor injuries assisted by the school. Abstract

Background: Stunting cases occur throughout the world, with many toddlers in various countries experiencing stunting and chronic malnutrition. Data from the UNICEF in 2020 shows that 22% of all children in the world, or around 149.2 million children suffer from stunting. The results of the Indonesian Nutritional Status Study (SSGI), the prevalence of stunted toddlers in Indonesia was 24.4% in 2021. In 2021, West Kalimantan was in 7th place nationally with a stunted toddler prevalence of 29.8%. Sambas Regency is one of the districts with the largest stunting rate in West Kalimantan with 5,500 stunted children under five. Aim of research: To find out the families' experiences in caring for stunting toddlers in Sambas Regency. Methods: Qualitative research with phenomenological study approach. The participants involved in this study as many as 5 people were selected with purposive sampling techniques. Data collection using in-depth interview method. Scientific finding results: The results of this research found 7 themes, namely sources of information, feelings, child feeding challenges, parenting support, obstacles to children's eating, selection of children's meal menu and sources of water for consumption. Conclusion: Children's eating problems were one of the most common factors causing stunting in this study. Parenting style is an important factor in a child's growth and development. It is important to apply good parenting patterns to children so that children get the nutrition they need to grow and develop well and avoid stunting.

Abstract

Membuat kerajinan dengan Stik es krim yang layak jual. Tujuan Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa adalah menginspirasi mahasiswa untuk menjadi wirausaha dengan mengubah Stik Es Krim menjadi kerajinan yang bernilai jual. Metode pelaksanaan program ini adalah Input, Proses (produksi), Output, dan Evaluasi. Hasil dari program ini adalah Input, menganalisis keadaan pasar dengan memperhatikan keunggulan dan kelemahan pesaing kami. Selanjutnya, Proses (produksi), kami akan menganalisis bagaimana agar produk kami berbeda dengan produk pesaing kami. Output, kami akan memasarkan produk kami ke tempat yang cukup ramai. Evaluasi, tahapan evaluasi akan dilaksanakan pada saat produksi Lampu Hias telah selesai dilakukan. Pada tahap ini, kami akan meninjau tentang kelemahan apa saja yang membuat konsumen tidak nyaman menggunakan produk kami serta kekurangan yang membuat usaha ini tidak mencapai target keuntungan dari perkembangan yang sudah direncanakan.  Kesimpulan program kegiatan PKM-K ini adalah inovasi dari bahan stik es krim menjadi Lampu hias mampu memberikan solusi untuk penerangan dalam mengerjakan tugas Mahasiswa, dan sebagai benda hiasan yang memberikan kesan aesthetic , demi terwujudnya mahasiswa yang kreatif untuk mendirikan suatu usaha. Produk Lampu hias dari stik es krim perlu berinovasi, dan meningkatkan kualitas produk tersebut agar usaha ini memiliki jangka panjang yang lebih baik. Kerajinan ini memiliki nilai jual, dapat mengajarkan mahasiswa bagaimana berinovasi dan berkreasi dalam proses pengolahan Stik Es Krim serta dapat memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk berlatih berwirausaha dengan pemahaman konsep kewirausahaan yang komprensif, dan dapat menginspirasi  untuk memulai dalam berbisnis.

Abstract

Scabies is a common skin infestation caused by mite, posing significant health challenges, especially in densely populated environments like boarding schools. Objective: This study aimed to identify the incidence of scabies among adolescents in Islamic religious boarding schools in Pontianak, Indonesia. Methods: A quantitative descriptive design was employed, involving 220 students from an Islamic boarding school in Pontianak. Concecutive sampling was used to select participants. Data were collected using questionnaires on knowledge and attitudes about scabies, and observation sheets for environmental assessment. Descriptive statistics was performed. Results: The study found that 66.3% of respondents experienced low severity scabies symptoms, while 33.6% had high severity symptoms. The majority of respondents were female (55%), with a mean age of 13.6 years. Knowledge about scabies was generally low, with significant gaps in understanding symptoms, transmission, and prevention. Attitudes towards scabies prevention were also poor, with many students neglecting personal hygiene and environmental cleanliness. Conclusion: The high prevalence of scabies in the boarding school highlights the need for targeted interventions. Future research should focus on evaluating the effectiveness of these interventions to develop sustainable solutions for managing scabies in similar settings.

Abstract

Biostatistics is an important subject in nursing education because it contributes to clinical decision-making and health research. However, many nursing students find biostatistics difficult because they are not directly used in nursing practice. This study aims to explore the dynamics of biostatistical learning to improve teaching approaches in the future. The study uses a Mixed Methods Research (MMR) design with an explanatory sequential approach which is carried out in two stages. The first stage involved 94 nursing students to measure satisfaction and concentration in learning. Quantitative results revealed that 80.9% of students were satisfied, although dissatisfaction arose from unclear goals and inappropriate lecture times. In addition, 72.3% of students had moderate concentration, with peer conversation invitations being the main challenge. In the second stage, a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with 8 students explored these findings further. The integration of qualitative and quantitative data identifies key themes, namely clarity of learning objectives, lecture time, classroom atmosphere, technology support, and teaching effectiveness. These findings emphasize the need for better teaching strategies and time management to improve student satisfaction, focus, and understanding of biostatistics. Addressing this dimension will increase the effectiveness of biostatistics education for nursing students.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi di era digital telah mengubah cara penyampaian dakwah Islam. Media sosial seperti Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, dan YouTube menjadi platform utama untuk menyebarkan pesan-pesan Islam. Namun, tidak semua pendakwah mampu memanfaatkan teknologi ini secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi strategi komunikasi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas dakwah Islam di era digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah tinjauan literatur terhadap penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial dan video streaming dapat memperluas jangkauan dakwah dan meningkatkan keterlibatan audiens. Strategi seperti penggunaan podcast, digitalisasi kitab pesantren, dan interaksi aktif dengan audiens di media sosial terbukti efektif. Kesimpulan penelitian ialah adopsi teknologi dan inovasi dalam metode penyampaian pesan dakwah sangat penting untuk kesuksesan dakwah di era digital.

Abstract

Marketing strategy is an aspect that must be owned so that every business, both MSME products and agricultural products, can be optimized. Educational factors and suboptimal application of technology are obstacles that cause a lack of understanding of effective marketing strategies. This article aims to explain how optimizing marketing strategies based on utilitarian value and digital marketing can help UMKM and farmers in Kampung Gambut Siantan Hilir improve the competitiveness of their products, create stronger relationships with consumers, and encourage sustainable local economic growth. Through problem solving methods and data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation studies, the implementation of the PKM program runs smoothly. Kampung Gambut community participation also plays an important role in driving the success of the PKM activities. The result of this activity is to ensure the community's understanding of the importance of optimizing marketing strategies based on utilitarian value and digital marketing. By emphasizing these aspects, UMKM products and agricultural products become more competitive in the market. With the right digital marketing strategy, local products in the Kampung Gambut Siantan Hilir can reach a wider range of consumers, which cannot be reached through traditional marketing methods.
