Abstract

Berdasarkan data awal siswa kelas IV di SDN Pakemitan II dengan indikator penilaian menyampaikan kembali isi pengumuman dengan memperhatikan kesesuaian dan kelengkapan susunan yang sesuai dengan benar, diketahui belum dapat tercapai secara optimal. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) menggunakan desain penelitian yang mengadopsi model spiral dari Kemmis dan Taggart. Objek penelitiannya kinerja guru, aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa target 85%.Berdasarkan observasi kinerja guru didapati sampai siklus III mencapai persentase 96% (baik sekali). Berdasarkan format observasi aktivitas siswa terdapat peningkatan jumlah siswa yang dianggap berkriteria sangat baik. Pada siklus III terdapat 10 siswa (41,7%,), dan siswa yang lain berkriteria cukup dan baik. Adapun tes hasil belajar menunjukan siswa yang tuntas memenuhi KKM 75 pada siklus III yaitu 24 orang siswa (100%). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa seluruh objek penelitian telah mencapai target 85% dan penerapan strategi think, talk, write dan media top card berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam menyimak dan menyampaikan kembali isi pengumuman.Kata Kunci: Strategi Think, Talk, Write (TTW), Media Top Card, Keterampilan Menyimak dan menyampaikan kembali isi pengumuman , Aktivitas Siswa, Kinerja Guru.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student’s ability in concluding the contents of the story. Based on the result of research that has been done in class V A SDN Cirayun show that student still have difficulty in summing up the story content. These problems occur because the management of the class is not optimal, and the use of learning methods that are less varied. The overcome these problems, the researcher determines the action by applying the Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review (SQ3R) method with the rainbow post game. In cycle I, the result of teacher performance planning reached 83,3%, 90,4% cycle II, and third cycle 97,6%. Meanwhile, student activity in cycle I reached 12%, 72% of cycle II, and 88% of cycle III. While the result of student learning which got the complete category continue to exprecience good improvement, initially in cycle I only 5 students (36%), cycle II 18 students (72%), and in cycle III increased to 23 students (92%). Thus, it can be concluded that the application of SQ3R method with rainbow post game can improve the ability of grade V A students of SDN Cirayun in concluding the story content of children who read.

Abstract

Vocal learning implementation should create learning process actively, creatively utilizing existing learning resources. Supported competencies teachers who are esperts in their field to study vocal. The condition of the school shows have used method to increaselearning solfegio vocals. Therefore the research needs to be done to get to know the process of learning the vocals. Objective to describe the process of use of methods of learning to solfegio vocals. A descriptive qualitative research methods with steps planning, implementation, observation, data processing and reflection, with the subject of research grade Va SDN Lebakwangi 01 Nagreg, and implementation timein half the space of 2016/2017. Data collection by observation, interviews, field notes and documentation. From the results of the use of research methods can improvevoal skills solfegio students. Recomemendation from the results of this study is throught use of vocal learning in solfegio method can be applied the primary to grade V.

Abstract

In the first observation to 5th grade at SDN Kertawinangun I, there are some problem about planning, implementation, student activities, and result learning on the story of case. Either way, there are need solving all that problems. The reason of implementation this research is to improve the listening ability.  The goals of this research are to know the learning plan using think-pair-share technique, the implementation of think-pair-share technique, student activities, and learning result from the application think-pair-share technique. This research using Classroom Activity Research (PTK). The instrument that used in this research are guidelines of teacher performance observation, guidelines of student activity observation, guidelines of interview, field notes, and question. The result improvement of this research, seem from the first cycle until the last cycle. In the planning aspect, the 1st cycle result reach 68%, the 2nd cycle reach 79%, and the 3rd cycle reach 87%. Then, in the implementation aspect, the 1st cycle reach 66%, the 2nd cycle reach 80%, and the 3rd cycle reach 88%. Except that, there is the student activity improvement. In the 1st cycle, the result reach 11,76%, the 2nd cycle reach 50%, and the 3rd cycle reach 85%. The learning result also shows the improvement. In the 1st cycle, the result reach 38%, the 2nd cycle reach 62%, and the 3rd cycle reach 85%. So, the application of think-pair-share technique can be improve the listening ability on the story of case.

Abstract

Prospective primary school teachers had low skill in playing gamelan degung (Indonesian Gamelan). To improve skills in playing gamelan degung correctly, prospective primary school teachers need to be taught techniques of ringing, muffling (menengkep), and memorizing the compositions. Therefore, this research seeks to improve students in playing gamelan degung. The action research report presented in this article exemplified the work of the involved collaborative team in making reflective-critical steps to change the students’ ability from their initial state of being unable to play gamelan degung properly to be able to play gamelan composition properly. The results of the action had shown changes in the ability of students in playing gamelan degung with 97.6% skill change level of the students and 57.15% success rate of students improving from the inept category to the adept category in playing gamelan degung. As a result, the skills of prospective primary school teachers in playing gamelan degung can be improved through some development steps in action research.

Abstract

Openning book is one of human daily activities when they read books. When someone openning book, she or he has not done something that does not have any purpose. There are many benefits in opennig book activities, one of them is retrieving comprehension as much as possible. Openning book means repeatedly openning the pages, reading important portion of the page and skipping less important portion of the page. Openning books activity can be being done in a relatively short time (e.g. five minutes or half an hour) and will have been completed once at a time. Openning book reading technique can be used even by the students in elementary school. Therefore, openning book reading technique is claimed to be the one of important reading technique for reading study. Keywords: repeatedly openning the page, openning book, reading, elementary school.

Abstract

Lack of students abilities in reading Al-Quran hampers the learning process of Islamic Religious Education (PAI Pendidikan Agama Islam) in universities. Ironically, this fundamentalism has not been able to be resolved at the previous level of education. Various methods of reading Al-Quran have been compiled, but in fact, there are still many students who have not been able to read Al-Quran. Hence, this research aims at analyzing the implementation of the TAHQIQ learning model in order to improve Al-Quran reading skills. This research employed the action research method. The research subjects were 360 prospective primary school teachers in one of the universities in Sumedang Regency, consisting of 130 male and 240 female prospective teachers. This research revealed that the TAHQIQ learning model was able to improve the students abilities in reading Al-Quran to reach the level of Jayyid in 12 meetings. Therefore, it can be concluded that the TAHQIQ learning model was able to eradicate students who were Al-Quran illiterate.
