Abstract

Early Childhood Education (ECED) plays a vital role in shaping children's cognitive, social, and motor development. However, implementing innovative learning methods remains a significant challenge. This study analyzes the need for developing interactive infographic media based on the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on the theme of vehicles for kindergarten B children. The research responds to children's low understanding of the theme, using a quantitative descriptive method with data collected via Guttman scale questionnaires involving 10 students and 2 teachers at Adventure Islamic Kindergarten Palembang. Findings show that the children’s understanding level of the vehicle theme averaged 1.3, indicating a high need for more engaging and communicative media. Teachers also indicated a high level of need, with an average score of 1.5, emphasizing the importance of media aligned with the PjBL approach. The results conclude that developing interactive infographic media has strong potential to enhance children’s conceptual understanding, boost learning motivation, and encourage active participation in thematic project-based learning in a fun and effective manner.

Abstract

Teacher groups in Musi Banyuasin district have great potential in developing learning materials, in the form of leveled books. Their significant benefits in meeting students' reading needs according to their level of difficulty and understanding make leveled books an important product that can be created by classroom teachers. This book also has the potential to be a medium to increase students' awareness of global issues, including climate change, through the integration of relevant content in learning. For this reason, the service team from FKIP Sriwijaya University designed a program to facilitate the assistance and training activities needed. As the first step of the program, the service team conducted an initial exploration regarding the teacher participants' mastery of digital tools and artificial intelligence (AI). The method of the exploration activity was to distribute questionnaires that must be filled in by the participants. The result is that 59.1% of teachers understand the concept of leveled books and 63.6% of teachers use leveled books in the classroom. Unfortunately, 63.6% of teachers stated that they had never made leveled books for their class. Regarding the role of digital tools, teachers seem to be familiar with Canva and AI. The data shows that 81.8% of teachers often use Canva to create teaching materials. There are also other tools that are utilized, such as YouTube, ChatGPT, and YouTube. It can be concluded that, the process of mentoring and training for making tiered books is mandatory considering that teachers already have basic knowledge related to digital tools and AI.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbantuan Google Sites pada materi bagian tubuh tumbuhan untuk siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, lembar validasi, angket, tes, dan dokumentasi. Validasi dari ahli media memperoleh hasil presentase 91,66% termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Validasi ahli materi memperoleh hasil presentase 95,45% termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Respon guru terhadap media pembelajaran menunjukkan persentase 96,87% termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Angket respon siswa dalam uji coba individu memperoleh skor 91,66% dikategorikan sangat praktis sedangkan angket respon siswa kelompok kecil sebesar 88% pada kategori sangat praktis. Skor N-Gain yang diperoleh sebesar 0,742 menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa dalam kategori tinggi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbantuan Google Sites pada mata pelajaran IPAS untuk kelas IV sekolah dasar layak digunakan kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a product in the form of ESD-oriented Google Sites learning media to improve critical thinking skills of grade IV students of SDN 05 Indralaya. The type of research used in this study is development with the ADDIE model. The subjects used in this study were class IV A of SDN 05 Indralaya. Data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, tests, observations and documentation. The results of the validation of material experts obtained a percentage of 98.21% with a very feasible category. The validation of media experts obtained a percentage of 90.38% with a very feasible category. The validation of practitioner experts obtained a percentage of 99.07% with a very feasible category. The results of student responses at the individual stage obtained a percentage of 96.53% with a very practical category and at the small group stage obtained a percentage of 97.22% with a very practical category. The N-Gain score obtained was 0.855 with a very high category, thus it can be concluded that the resulting product is feasible to use in learning activities.

Abstract

The low level of students’ understanding in learning Natural Sciences, particularly on renewable energy topics, in elementary schools is partly due to the lack of interactive learning media that align with children's learning characteristics. This study aims to analyze the needs of both teachers and students for the development of interactive infographic media grounded in the discovery learning approach. A quantitative descriptive method was employed, using closed-ended questionnaires as the primary data collection instrument. The respondents consisted of 30 students and six classroom teachers from an elementary school in Musi Banyuasin Regency. The questionnaire covered pedagogical, technical, cognitive, aesthetic, and evaluation aspects. The findings revealed that the majority of students struggled to comprehend renewable energy concepts in the absence of visual media. Furthermore, 90% of students expressed a preference for learning materials incorporating images, videos, and animations. All teacher respondents emphasized the need for media that supports active and visual learning tailored to the developmental characteristics of elementary students. These findings underscore the urgent need to develop interactive infographic media based on discovery learning to enhance students’ conceptual understanding. Practically, the results serve as a foundation for designing learning tools that are engaging, age-appropriate, and capable of fostering independent exploration in science education at the elementary level.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yang dibantu oleh paper mode quiziz terhadap minat belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPAS di kelas IV SD Negeri 78 Palembang. Minat belajar adalah langkah awal bagi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi merupakan salah satu upaya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan siswa, yang mencakup kesiapan, minat, dan gaya belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 78 Palembang dengan subjek penelitian adalah kelas IV.A yang terdiri dari 25 siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantatif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yang dibantu oleh paper mode quiziz dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Peningkatan tersebut terlihat dari persentase minat belajar siswa pada pra-siklus sebesar 64,44% (kategori kurang), pada siklus I sebesar 83,6% (kategori baik), dan pada siklus II mencapai 90,48% (kategori sangat baik). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbantu paper mode quiziz dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPAS kelas IV di SD Negeri 78 Palembang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS untuk kelas V dengan menggunakan model TGT yang dibantu oleh media puzzle di SD Negeri 78 Palembang. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 28 siswa kelas V. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Pada pra-siklus, persentase ketercapaian siswa adalah 42,86%. Namun, pada siklus kedua, persentase ketercapaian siswa hampir mencapai 100% dengan angka 92,86%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model TGT dengan bantuan media puzzle dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V dalam mata pelajaran IPAS.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an E-LKPD based on a liveworksheets website with a discovery learning model in elementary schools (SD). This research uses the ADDIE model development research procedure. Material expert validators and design experts validate the products. The experts' validation results categorized the E-LKPD development product as very valid. The results of this research show an excellent response from the three categories of trial groups: individual students (93%), small groups (97%), and teachers (98%). That is evidenced by the N-Gain value of 0.58, which is included in the moderate category. Thus, the E-LKPD product based on the liveworksheets website with the discovery learning model is suitable for the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive infographic learning media based on Google Sites that integrates cooperative learning models on food chain material for fifth grade elementary school students. The type of research used is development research with the ADDIE model consisting of the stages of Analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation, needs analysis, validation sheets, response questionnaires, and tests. The results of this study indicate that interactive infographic learning media based on Google Sites is effective and practical to use, with an N-gain score reaching 0.838452, which is included in the high category. This study shows that interactive infographic media can improve students' understanding of concepts and mastery of material, so it is suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive game-based learning media on the human digestive system for elementary school students and to test the validity, practicality, and potential effectiveness of the media. The development model used is the Rowntree model, which consists of three main stages: planning, development, and evaluation. This model emphasizes systematic and structured media development to ensure effective learning. Formative evaluation is conducted using the Tessmer model, which includes one-to-one and small-group trials. The media's validity was assessed by media, content, and language experts, while its practicality was tested through one-to-one and small group evaluations. Potential effectiveness of the media was measured through field testing by comparing pre-test and post-test scores. The media's validity was assessed using percentage scores of 97.7%, 87.61%, and 94.81% from media, content, and language experts, with an overall average of 93.41%, which is categorized as very valid. The practicality aspect received a score of 88.55%, indicating it is highly practical. The field test results showed an average post-test score of 85.11 and an N-Gain of 0.72, both of which are considered high. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the interactive game-based learning media has high validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This media contributes explicitly to Science and Social Studies learning through an innovative gamification approach, distinguishing it from previous studies. The use of this media not only enhances students' understanding of the human digestive system but also introduces a fun and interactive learning method, providing a new learning experience for elementary school students. The novelty of this study lies in the gamification design developed to facilitate an understanding of abstract concepts related to the human digestive system, in accordance with cognitive learning theory. This design integrates visual and audio elements to support dual coding. Additionally, this media is also designed for offline use. Keywords: development, learning media, interactive educational game, elementary school, human digestive system.
