Abstract

This research aims to analyze the obstacles and challenges in involving stakeholders in developing the Islamic education curriculum in Islamic boarding schools, how stakeholders contribute to each stage of the curriculum development process and recommendations for Islamic boarding schools and educational development policies related to the Islamic education curriculum in Islamic boarding schools. The method used in this research is the library research method, data was obtained from various sources such as scientific journals, books, seminar papers and other publications both offline and online. The data analysis model consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that obstacles and challenges that may arise include differences in views and priorities, limited time and resources, inequality of representation, technical challenges, politics and personal interests, lack of effective communication, resistance to change, and intimidation of results. Stakeholders contribute to each stage of the curriculum development process by identifying needs and objectives, designing materials and learning, selecting learning and evaluation methods, testing and assessing, and revising and adjusting. Recommendations for Islamic boarding schools and educational policies related to curriculum development include increasing stakeholder involvement, forming a curriculum development team, openness to innovation, and integrating religious values. For education policy, apart from support and recognition, development of training stakeholders, provision of resources, support for research and innovation and partnerships with Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of an integrated approach in enhancing English proficiency at Ngubalan Elementary School in Tulungagung. This research employs a qualitative approach, focusing on interviews as the primary instrument. Interviews were conducted with English teachers, students in grades 4-6, the principal, and parents. The interview data were analyzed using interactive analysis techniques consisting of Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Conclusion Drawing. The findings indicate that the integrated approach successfully increased student motivation and engagement in learning English through the use of diverse media and methods. Teachers and the principal observed improvements in students' English skills, while parents noted positive changes in their children's English abilities at home. Challenges included limited facilities and time, but measures such as teacher training and collaboration with external parties have been taken to address these obstacles.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the development of moderation and pluralism in the midst of globalization. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive-analysis approach and literature study (library research). The main sources in this research are books, articles and other reading sources related to the theme of developing moderation and pluralism amidst globalization. The results of this research are 1) Moderation is a person's attitude that does not side with the extreme right and extreme left. This attitude is in the middle and does not side with either one. This is as stated in an expression, khairul age ausathuha (the best thing is the middle), 2) Indicators of religious moderation include national commitment, tolerance, non-violence and accommodating local culture, 3) Internalization of religious moderation in higher education by means of : a) The existence of indicators of religious moderation, b) Support from all higher education academics, c) The role of lecturers, d) Seminars and the existence of a house for religious moderation. Challenges to religious moderation in Indonesia include: a) Radicalism and extremism b) Limited understanding of religion c) The influence of globalization and d) Religious education that is not yet comprehensive. Pluralism is a philosophical view that does not reduce everything to one final principle, but accepts diversity. Pluralism concerns the religious, cultural and political fields.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan Total Quality Management (TQM) di institusi pendidikan Islam dan dampaknya terhadap kualitas lulusan berjiwa kewirausahaan. TQM, yang fokus pada perbaikan berkelanjutan, keterlibatan seluruh pihak, dan kepuasan pelanggan, diterapkan untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dengan menekankan pengembangan kurikulum, pelatihan guru, dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sesuai nilai-nilai Islam dan kebutuhan pasar. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan library research dan analisis deskriptif-analitis untuk menilai literatur. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa TQM secara signifikan meningkatkan kualitas lulusan melalui program kewirausahaan terintegrasi, partisipasi siswa, dan hubungan dengan dunia industri. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya dan resistensi terhadap perubahan diidentifikasi. Rekomendasi meliputi peningkatan investasi dalam pelatihan guru, kolaborasi dengan dunia usaha, dan inovasi berkelanjutan untuk memaksimalkan potensi TQM.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of collaborative guidance among some members of the madrasah and the supervisor, which hinders the improvement of the quality of a madrasah institution. Therefore, it is necessary to establish collaboration or synergy among the head of the madrasah, the madrasah committee, several teachers, and the supervisor in advancing the quality of the madrasah. This research employs a qualitative approach with a multi-site study design. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Data analysis uses single-case analysis and cross-case analysis. Data validity techniques involve credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability.The research findings indicate that: (1) the collaboration between supervisors and heads of madrasahs in formulating plans (planning) to improve the quality of the institution includes: a) formulating and developing the vision, mission, and goals of the madrasah; b) preparing the Mid-Term Work Plan (RKJM), the Madrasah Work and Budget Plan (RKAM), and the Annual Work Plan (RKT); c) conducting workshops and training for teachers and institutional staff; d) developing madrasah management systems and information technology and PBM (Self-Learning Platform); and e) preparing KTSP/Merdeka curriculum; (2) the collaboration between supervisors and heads of madrasahs in implementing the process (actuating) to improve the quality of the institution involves: a) organizing guidance, workshops, and training for madrasah teachers; b) providing support and guidance for all programs within the institution; c) developing a madrasah curriculum tailored to the institution's situation and conditions; d) producing works/products or learning journals, and developing an excellent KTSP madrasah curriculum.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to determine increased access and equal distribution of the potential of Islamic educational institutions. This research uses a type of library research. Library research is research carried out by reviewing various journals and related reference books. The results of his research show that one of the pillars of national education is the expansion and equal distribution of access to education. Expanding and equalizing access to education which is aimed at expanding the capacity of educational units by referring to the national priority scale which provides equal opportunities for all students from various groups of society who are diverse both socially, economically, gender, geographically and at the level of intellectual ability, and physical condition. Expanding and equalizing access provides the widest possible opportunities for the Indonesian population to be able to learn throughout their lives in order to increase the nation's competitiveness in the current era. Access to Islamic educational institutions has great significance for the development of individuals and society as a whole. This helps understand Islamic teachings, strengthens religious identity, teaches morals and ethics, understands relevant social and political issues, and helps build character and integrate religious values ​​in daily life. Obstacles to access to Islamic education in this village include Lack of material books and competence of teaching staff. This factor influences the quality of education and students' understanding of Islamic teachings. Therefore, to overcome this problem, greater efforts need to be made to increase access to education, provide adequate book materials, and increase the competency of teaching staff in village areas. Teacher training plays a key role in the distribution of Islamic religious education. Effective teacher training should focus on understanding local culture, relevant curriculum, innovative teaching methods, classroom management skills, community involvement, use of technology, and development of empathy skills.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to investigate the relationship between the use of active learning methods and parental involvement in learning on student achievement at MAN 1 Tulungagung. Effective implementation of both factors could be a vital strategy in enhancing the quality of Islamic religious education and student achievement. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 74 teachers. The sampling technique employed the Isaac and Michael table with a 5% error rate, resulting in 62 samples from the total population. The data collection instrument was a Guttman scale questionnaire. Data analysis included validity and reliability tests, as well as linear and multiple regression analyses using SPSS software. The research findings indicate that the use of active learning methods significantly influences student achievement, with a beta coefficient of 0.42 and a t-value of 8.40 (p-value < 0.001). Parental involvement in religious education also significantly affects student achievement, with a beta coefficient of 0.38 and a t-value of 6.54 (p-value < 0.001). The combined use of active learning methods and parental involvement significantly impacts student achievement. Active learning methods have a beta coefficient of 0.35, while parental involvement in religious education has a beta coefficient of 0.28. Both variables show high significance (p-value < 0.001). This study contributes significantly to understanding the factors influencing student achievement in the context of Islamic religious education. Future research could explore diverse teaching methods, parental roles, and improved methods of measuring student achievement. Keywords: Learning Methods, Parental involvement, Student Achievement.

Abstract

This research to analyze how the SAMR model can be applied to improve the quality of learning at MA Darunnajah. This study used qualitative research methods. The research location MA Darunnajah. Data obtained through observation, in-depth interviews with teachers, students and school staff, analysis of curriculum documents. Checking the validity of the data uses triangulation, source triangulation, data triangulation and technical triangulation. The collected data was analyzed using qualitative analysis methods which generally consist of the process of transcription, coding, grouping essence research results that have the same meaning, and presenting the data. The research results show that change management plays a crucial role implementing the SAMR Model learning transformation tool for teachers at MA Darunnajah. Effective communication between school management and teachers well psychological support has proven effective building understanding change and helping teachers overcome resistance. However the research highlights need for increased training, with teachers suggesting additional training on the SAMR Model and educational technology. potential solution involves providing additional counseling resources to overcome resistance to change. These findings indicate the need for more effective change management, ongoing training, and adequate psychological support to successfully integrate the SAMR Model in teaching that has a positive impact on the quality of education at MA Darunnajah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (PjBL) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di MA Al-Chodidjah Jombang. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai bagaimana PjBL dapat mempengaruhi keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mendukung keberhasilan implementasi PjBL di lingkungan pendidikan Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Subyek penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas X dan XI serta guru di MA Al-Chodidjah Jombang. Teknik pengambilan data meliputi observasi langsung selama proses pembelajaran, wawancara mendalam dengan siswa dan guru, serta analisis dokumen seperti rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) dan hasil proyek siswa. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan metode analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan tema yang muncul dari data yang dikumpulkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PjBL secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, meningkatkan keterlibatan mereka dalam pembelajaran, dan memperkuat keterampilan kolaboratif. Siswa menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kemampuan analisis, evaluasi, dan sintesis informasi melalui proyek-proyek yang diberikan. Guru berperan penting sebagai fasilitator dalam mendorong siswa untuk berpikir kritis dan mandiri. Temuan ini mendukung hasil penelitian sebelumnya yang menyatakan bahwa PjBL efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kolaboratif siswa. Kesimpulannya, PjBL merupakan metode pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis di MA Al-Chodidjah Jombang, dengan dukungan perencanaan yang baik dan bimbingan guru yang efektif.

Abstract

Arabic learning can take place at various ages of either children, adolescents or adults. Learning Arabic is something needed for especially Muslim because it is important in Muslim life. This paper will explain about the Arabic learning strategy for children. This is important to discuss because children need special strategies in learning for their ages. In collecting information, the writer uses library research method, which is done by comparing several literary sources, especially those that are the main source of discussion to discuss about the existing problems. Then, as the result, language learning is a help to determine how, and how well, learners learn a foreign language. There are many variations on learning strategy. Arabic learning strategies for children include playing, singing, telling stories, projects, demonstration, and conversation. By using the suitable and fun strategy, children can develop their potential well and effectively. The selection of learning strategies depends on children’s ages and characteristics.
