Abstract

The development of technology and the presence of the Covid-19 outbreak has made the world of education have no ideal choice except for distance learning. This encourages the use of various internet-based Learning Management System (LMS) supporting applications. Google Classroom is one of the most commonly used media. This study aims to find out the usability of Google Classroom to the students along their online-learning. The sample of this research was 105 students of Islamic Educational Study Program which selected by using purposive sampling. This research use survey research method. The result of this research shown that the usability of Google Classroom concluded as a high level, states as 80% of (usefulness), moreover there were as much as 80% students experienced that Google Classroom is easy to use, and there were also easy to access the learning material shown by 83% students. Additionally, the students also feel satisfy using Google Classroom as the media of interactive discussion, proved by the percentage of satisfaction of 79%.

Abstract

The majority of Muslim workers in industrial areas are not only required to be able to work quickly in meeting targets, but also face obligations as servants of God, namely praying fardhu.  Meanwhile, for Friday prayers, most of the factory workers are travelers whose muqim limits are fulfilling the requirements for Friday prayers in the realm of khilafiyah.  The study aims to reveal how the existence of mosques in shopping centers that are used for Friday prayers within the industrial community. Through a phenomenological qualitative approach based on field research, the research was carried out using ethnohistorical methods, namely research activities to understand people's ways.  interact by working together through phenomena in the daily life of social and cultural groups.  The object of research is the industrial mosque in the CITOMall Surabaya area.  The sampling was snowballing and purposive.  Data were collected through interviews and observations.  After that, the analysis was carried out using inductive deductive techniques.The results showed that in the context of culture, it is illustrated how the social behavior of the urban industrial community in looking for God, one of which is through the Friday rite. The end, this study offers knowledge about the educational values of the ethonohitorical phenomenon of urban mosques

Abstract

The title of this research is to apply the gallery session method in Arabic learning to improve speaking skills at the Madrasah Al-Machfudzoh Sidoarjo. Discuss how the implementation of the method in Madrasah Al-Machfudzoh and its superiority in increasing students' speaking skills. Here, the researcher examines the extent of the role of the application of the gallery session method in Madrasah Al-Machfudzoh, especially the 7th-grade Tsanawiyah, to improving the speaking skill. Here the researchers used descriptive qualitative methods. This research is library research that relies on a descriptive-analytical approach (al-manhaj al-washfi at-tahlili). The descriptive approach is to analyze scientific material that is related to the subject, through library research and then presented and explained systematically. The results of this study show that the gallery session method has many advantages. Students are trained to understand the contents of reading and then be able to visualize it in the form of images to express it with communicative language then.

Abstract

The habit of Muslims to pray in congregation in mosques has a great potential in transmitting the virus because many people gather in one place. There have been calls from the government and MUI as well as several mass organizations to regulate congregational activities at mosques. The public response in responding to this appeal certainly has significant implications in efforts to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak. This research aims to explain in a theological perspective about the public response in responding to congregational activities in mosques during the Covid-19 outbreak. The method used is a mixed method by distributing quantitative questionnaires and combining qualitative data. The results of the study revealed that at least the Muslims were divided into three groups, namely First, those who surrendered to their destiny, did not make dzahir efforts in dealing with this epidemic, so they remained in congregation in mosques without maintaining health protocols; Second, the Muslims who are too paranoid, use every effort to take precautions in a dzahir manner but are ignorant of spiritual matters; Third, the middle Muslims, namely those who are balanced, they remain in congregation but still follow health protocols. The attitude that should be applied is the third attitude by trying physically and mentally and ending with tawakal.

Abstract

Arabic language learning must experience its learning system reconstruction as a consequence of Covid-19 pandemic which hits the world globally. The system change from offline to online makes each learning component must adjust with new system by still referring to the learning principles built adjusting with the virtual system. This article presents the study result conducted on Arabic language program at State Islamic University of Sunan Ampel Surabaya. The purpose of this research was to understand the students’ perception about online Arabic language learning based on the learning principle by Rusydi Ahmad Thu’aimah which covers communication principle, learning method principle, and learning media principle. This study was conducted by using qualitative method through case study approach with data obtained through questionnaire based survey strengthened by the data of interview result. The research result showed that students had quite good perception on Arabic language intensive learning in odd semester of 2021-2022.

Abstract

This article analyzes the TPACK-based Islamic Religious Education Teacher's Perception at SMK Negeri Rengel-Tuban. This article uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Data were collected using observation, interviews, and surveys through the google form application. This study's participants comprised six people with details one female teacher and five male teachers. The results of this analysis indicate that PAI teachers at Rengel State Vocational School have a good perception of the use of the TPACK (technological pedagogical content knowledge) model and have a vital role in the field of Islamic Religious Education, namely, by mastering TPACK, PAI teachers can present innovative learning. And creative and effective in the classroom, implementing online learning through TPACK has succeeded in increasing teacher competencies such as online classroom management competencies.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the use of the online game-based Kahoot platform that is used to improve vocabulary mastery in learning Arabic. This study uses the method of classroom action research (CAR) using the Kemmis & McTaggart model with four stages, namely planning, carrying out an action, observation or observation, and reflection, with the design used in this study on two cycles, each cycle contains two cycles. Four stages, namely: 1) planning, 2) carrying out actions, 3) observing or observing, 4) thinking. The results obtained are that the use of the online gaming platform Kahoot can facilitate students to improve vocabulary mastery in Arabic The research conducted in the first course and the second course in the fifth semester SDI Az-Zahro Gresik shows that there is an increase in the Arabic vocabulary learning outcomes in Kahoot media application where the average number of student success results in the first cycle is 70% and the results in the second cycle rise to 87%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the administrative system applied at SMP Boarding School al-Muayyad by utilizing technology to make it easier for teachers to record and assess students. This research is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. This study took place at the Al-Muayyad Boarding School Junior High School. Sources of data in this study are the results of interviews, observations, and documentation. The analytical technique used by the researcher is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study are an information technology-based administrative system that is applied at the Al-Muayyad Boarding School Junior High School including forms, advantages, and disadvantages in the technology-based administrative process. This research also provides an overview of how to create and process code-based applications. These results offer codular optimization as an aid for institutions to facilitate the creation of an Android-based administrative system. Thus, it is hoped that there will be more formal institutions that can use codular as a tool to facilitate the implementation of the administrative system in their schools.

Abstract

In the era of the Covid-19 pandemic, the education sector underwent many changes. All learning activities, especially in universities, are transferred online (in the network). These changes have an impact on student learning motivation. This study aims to determine and describe student learning motivation in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Researchers used descriptive research methods with a quantitative approach. The technique used in sampling is purposive sampling with the number of respondents being students of Islamic Education Management at the State Islamic University of Sunan Ampel Surabaya batch 2018. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. The research subjects consisted of 62 Islamic Education Management students at Sunan Ampel State Islamic University Surabaya batch 2018. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires via Google Form and then distributing them through WhatsApp groups in the form of links. Data analysis was carried out using the percentage statistical formula. The results of the study concluded that the learning motivation of Islamic Education Management students at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya class of 2018 in online learning during the pandemic based on the motivation theory and measurements of Hamzah B. Uno, stated that during online learning, students' motivation tended to be high.

Abstract

This study demonstrates that only E-Learning media, such as Quizizz Media, are necessary to improve students' ability to comprehend the material. Quizizz Media is a mixed learning media that is varied and exciting for children. It is effectively used as an Arabic writing skill learning medium that improves students' skills. Quizizz Media, as one of the media used in the classroom, also received a positive response from youngsters. This research aims to determine the production, use, and effectiveness of Arabic learning media based on quizizz in improving the Arabic language writing skills at Sd Mutiara Anak Sholeh. Observation, information, and interviews were used to acquire descriptive qualitative research data and information. The study's findings suggest that Quizizz Media is an engaging, effective, and highly motivating media for children to use in and out of the classroom.
