Abstract

This study analyses the influence of investment decisions, profitability, capital structure, and company size on the property and real estate companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (2020-2024). Using multiple linear regression on secondary data, the results concluded that investment decisions, profitability, and company size have a significant influence on the value of companies in the property and real estate sectors, while capital structure is insignificant. The capital structure is insignificant, supported by Modigliani-Miller's theory and pandemic policy interventions that reduce debt risk. The findings reinforce the role of signaling theory where profitability is the main signal of investor confidence, while capital structure is irrelevant in the context of emerging markets. Future research recommendations include the integration of sustainability variables (ESG), longitudinal analysis of the impact of post-pandemic debt restructuring, as well as qualitative approaches to unravel the paradox of company size. The practical implications suggest optimizing profitability through operational efficiency and prudence in large-scale business expansion. Future research will need to expand variables such as ESG performance, dividend policies, or environmental risks to answer unexplained variations. Capital structural analysis can be focused on specific conditions (e.g., property cycle phases or high interest rates) using a moderated regression approach. Longitudinal studies are needed to assess the long-term impact of pandemic policies, while qualitative methods (interviews) can uncover the paradox of the negative influence of company size. Inter-sector comparisons and non-linear modeling are also recommended to understand the complexity of variable relationships in asset-heavy contexts such as properties

Abstract

This study examines the transformation of digital lending in the post-COVID-19 era using a bibliometric approach, using the LinLog method, analyzing 1,250 indexed documents in Scopus on the Emerald website (2020–2025). VOSviewer and Bibliometrix tools were employed to identify thematic trends, conceptual networks, and research density. The overlay and density visualizations highlight the dominance of themes such as financial inclusion, digital finance, and strategy, with recent research focusing on sustainability, technology adoption, and risk management. Geographically, the Global South remains underrepresented in the literature. Three major challenges emerged: (1) systemic risks such as money laundering and cybersecurity vulnerabilities, (2) gender gaps in digital service access, and (3) fragmented ESG regulation. Visualization results also revealed growing interest in emerging topics like blockchain and AI ethics, though still underexplored. The study proposes adaptive regulatory sandboxes, gender-responsive financial literacy programs, and harmonising global standards as strategic policy responses. Future research should examine the long-term impact of digital lending on economic inequality and the role of technologies in enhancing transparency. These findings contribute to academic and practical discussions on building a resilient, inclusive, and SDG-aligned digital lending ecosystem.

Abstract

This study analyzes the relationship between financial efficacy, the use of fintech services, investment decisions, and risk perception in the context of financial technology adoption and investment decision-making. The regression analysis results show that the model can explain variations in using fintech services and investment decisions. These findings suggest that although the model is relevant in explaining the factors that influence both variables, other external factors contribute to variation in individual financial decision-making. Path analysis shows financial efficacy positively and significantly influences fintech services and investment decisions. In addition, using fintech services also plays a role in encouraging investment decisions, with a path coefficient of the same size. Other findings suggest that risk perception has a positive relationship with fintech adoption, indicating that individuals with higher risk awareness are more likely to turn to fintech services to access more transparent and secure financial information. The implications of this study highlight the importance of financial education in increasing individual confidence in managing finances and the role of fintech in accelerating financial inclusion and investment participation. This research recommends strengthening digital financial literacy and developing policies that support the adoption of financial technology to increase the effectiveness of financial decision-making in the community.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Sales Growth, Capital Structure, and Liquidity on Company Value in the property sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Panel data from 31 property firms over the 2019–2023 period (155 firm-year observations) were analyzed using the Random Effects Model, selected based on statistical tests to address unobserved heterogeneity across firms and time. The results indicate that Capital Structure (DER) has a significant negative effect on Company Value (PBV), supporting the Trade-Off Theory in the context of excessive debt risk under high interest rates. Liquidity (CR) has a significant positive effect, highlighting the importance of stable cash flow in sustaining firm value. Meanwhile, Sales Growth (SG) is found to be statistically insignificant, suggesting that although sales expansion may enhance firm value, post-pandemic market uncertainty causes investor skepticism regarding its sustainability. Practically, the findings imply that investors should carefully assess a firm's debt policy and liquidity strategy, while corporate managers must ensure that sales growth is supported by sustainable financing and operational efficiency rather than aggressive expansion. This study contributes to the literature by exploring the unique dynamics of Indonesia’s property sector, which is highly influenced by government policies and macroeconomic volatility. Future research is recommended to incorporate macroeconomic variables and differentiate between residential and commercial property subsectors to provide deeper insights.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of capital structure, liquidity, activity ratio, and profitability on firm value in the pharmaceutical sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period from 2018 to 2023. A quantitative approach was employed using multiple linear regression analysis to analyze panel data from 10 pharmaceutical companies, resulting in a total of 60 observations (n = 60). The results of the regression analysis indicate that only capital structure has a significant effect on firm value. In contrast, liquidity, activity ratio, and profitability do not show a significant impact. These findings were influenced by the dynamics of the capital market during the study period, particularly the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, which altered investors' strategies and priorities. The results highlight the importance of adopting a more comprehensive approach in evaluating firm value within the pharmaceutical industry by incorporating external factors and additional financial metrics. Future research is recommended to include macroeconomic variables and industry policies to gain a more holistic understanding.

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of interest mediation in the relationship between Islamic financial literacy, risk perception, and social influence on Islamic financial inclusion in Generation Z. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method of 310 Gen Z respondents in Bangka Belitung. The analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test the relationship between variables, including the role of interest mediation in encouraging Islamic financial inclusion. The results of the study show that interest plays a significant mediator in the relationship between Islamic financial literacy and Islamic financial inclusion. Islamic financial literacy has a positive impact on interest, which in turn increases Islamic financial inclusion. However, risk perception negatively impacts interests, which hinders Islamic financial inclusion. Conversely, social influence has a direct positive impact on Islamic financial inclusion without the need to be mediated by interest. The implications of this study show the need for Islamic financial literacy education in the form of interactive digital and product transparency to reduce risk perception. In addition, the use of social influence through communities and technology-based incentives can increase interest in Islamic financial products.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become the centre of attention in modern organizational strategies, especially in the context of digital transformational leadership. This research aims to map the intellectual structure and global research trends related to these themes through a bibliometric approach. Data were obtained from the ScienceDirect database using the keyword "digital transformational leadership" and coverage of the publication years 2020 to 2025. A total of 500 articles that met the inclusion criteria were analyzed using the VOSviewer software. The visualization results show five main clusters that are interconnected, namely digital leadership, digital competence, digital innovation, barrier to transformation, and sustainable performance. Digital leadership emerged as a central theme, while barriers and technostress became a new issue that developed in the latest literature trends. The visual overlay analysis also shows a shift in focus from the technological aspect to the strategic and human resources aspect. This research makes a theoretical contribution in identifying the direction and opportunities for advanced research in the field of digital leadership, as well as practical implications for organizations in sustainably managing digital transformation. This study also emphasizes the importance of digital competence, continuous innovation, and mitigation of technological barriers as the foundation for organizational success in the era of digital disruption.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of night shifts, work-life balance, and ergonomic factors on the risk of workplace accidents, with compliance to safety protocols as a mediating variable. The research was conducted on 154 respondents working in high-risk sectors. Data analysis was carried out using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the SmartPLS 4 software. The results show that night shifts have a significant and positive effect on the risk of workplace accidents. Meanwhile, work-life balance and ergonomic factors significantly influence compliance with safety protocols. However, compliance with safety protocols does not significantly affect the risk of accidents, and thus does not mediate the relationships between the other variables in the proposed model. These findings highlight the importance of better-managed night shift systems and the reinforcement of ergonomic conditions and work-life balance in ensuring a safe working environment. The practical implications call for managerial interventions and holistic occupational safety policies. Future studies are recommended to include additional variables such as job stress or safety culture, and to consider mixed-method approaches for a more comprehensive understanding.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of creativity, venture capital, and entrepreneurial spirit on business sustainability, with innovation excellence as a mediating variable in the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector. The background of this study lies in the crucial role of innovation in strengthening the competitiveness and sustainability of MSMEs in the midst of a constantly changing business environment. The method used is a quantitative approach using Partial Least Squares-based Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Data were collected through closed questionnaires distributed to 150 active MSME actors in Pangkalpinang. The results of the analysis show that creativity and venture capital significantly and indirectly affect business sustainability through innovation excellence. Innovation excellence is proven to be a significant mediating variable, strengthening the relationship between internal business factors and sustainability. In contrast, entrepreneurial spirit does not show a significant influence, either directly or indirectly, through innovation. These findings emphasize that business strategies that focus on increasing innovation and creativity, supported by adequate access to capital, are more effective in creating sustainable companies.
