Abstract

Abstract

This research investigates the persistent gap between theoretical English instruction and the practical demands of the global tourism industry. While travelers rely on seamless communication to steer various service encounters students often struggle with a profound lack of confidence and linguistic passivity that hinders their professional growth. We implemented a structured input and output framework based on the presentation and practice and production sequence to determine its impact on the communicative effectiveness of sixty vocational learners. Our quantitative analysis utilized pre-test and post-test performance metrics to measure oral fluency and linguistic accuracy and pragmatic competence across two distinct groups. The data reveals that the experimental group achieved statistically significant gains in all domains with a speech rate reaching over one hundred syllables per minute and an accuracy ratio of seventy seven percent. These results prove that intentional instructional sequencing acts as a vital bridge for preparing industry ready professionals who can respond spontaneously in high stakes travel scenarios. This study provides a replicable roadmap for vocational institutions seeking to transform English from a passive subject into a dynamic asset for international service excellence.

Abstract

Optimalisasi peran konsultan pengawas diwujudkan melalui penerapan sistem monitoring berbasis digital, penguatan koordinasi intensif antar pemangku kepentingan, serta konsistensi penerapan standar arsitektur interior perbankan.

Abstract

Urban activities are one of the main factors that put significant pressure on river ecosystems through the disposal of domestic waste, industrial waste, and surface runoff that carry various types of pollutants, along with population growth, increased economic activity, and uncontrolled land-use changes. These conditions have an impact on the decline in water quality which is characterized by an increase in the load of organic matter, nutrients, and harmful substances, thereby triggering the degradation of river habitats in the form of excessive sedimentation, damage to riparian vegetation, and changes in the physical structure of river channels, which ultimately lead to a decrease in aquatic biodiversity, both in terms of number and species composition. Many aquatic organisms, such as fish and macrozoobentos, are becoming increasingly vulnerable to pollution and habitat loss, resulting in population declines and even local extinctions. Based on these conditions, this article aims to examine the concept of conservation and rehabilitation of river aquatic resources affected by urban waste through a national literature review approach. The method used is a literature study of Indonesian scientific journals, reference books, and official government documents related to environmental and water resources management. The results of the study show that urban river conservation and rehabilitation efforts require an integrated approach that includes pollution control through effective waste management, restoration of river and riparian habitats, and sustainable management of watersheds, supported by strong environmental policies, consistent law enforcement, and active community participation to ensure the sustainability of the ecological function of rivers

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the difficulties faced by teachers in implementing the project method and efforts to overcome these difficulties in implementing the project method in Pancasila Education learning at SMKN 4 Padang. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design and was conducted at SMKN 4 Padang, located on Jl. Raya Padang - Indarung, Cangkeh Nan XX, Lubuk Begalung, Padang City, West Sumatra. Informants were selected using a purposive sampling technique, which involves self-identification of informants based on certain considerations or criteria in accordance with the research objectives. The research informants consisted of 21 people: the principal, curriculum representatives, facility and infrastructure representatives, Pancasila Education teachers of grades 10, 11, and 12, and five students of grades 10, 11, and 12. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data validity was tested using source triangulation techniques, while data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions which were carried out continuously from the data collection process until the research was completed, so that it could answer the research problem formulation precisely and in depth. The results of the study indicate that teachers face various difficulties in implementing the project method in Pancasila Education learning at SMKN 4 Padang. Difficulties in the planning stage lie in the teachers' ability to translate general learning outcomes into concrete projects, develop project learning plans, and design the division of tasks and activity stages that are appropriate to time, student abilities, and facility conditions. Teachers' efforts to overcome difficulties in evaluating the project method include simplifying and adjusting assessment instruments to be relevant and easy to understand, combining process and outcome assessments, and strengthening individual assessments for group equality. Teachers also manage time efficiently, increasing consultation and feedback.
