Abstract

Telah dilakukan  penelitian  permeabilitas relatif pasir di beberapa pantai wilayah Yogyakarta, sebagai sampel digunakan pasir Pantai Depok, pasir Pantai Parangtritis dan pasir Pantai Parangkusumo.  Penelitian  tersebut  didasari  pada  dugaan bahwa pada pasir pantai terkandung bijih besi yang dapat terinduksi oleh medan magnet. Penelitian dilakukan dengan memasukkan sampel pasir pantai ke dalam rongga kumparan solenoida agar termagnetisasi saat dialiri arus listrik. Pembangkitan medan magnet dilakukan dengan memvariasikan tegangan mulai dari 1.5 V sampai dengan 9 V. Pengambilan data medan magnet dan arus dilakukan secara langsung menggunakan interface Logger pro untuk selanjutnya dilakukan analisis  regresi linier menggunakan perangkat lunak MS.Excel.  Besarnya permeabilitas ditentukan melalui slope grafik. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan nilai permeabilitas eksperimen udara adalah (6,430±0,006)×10 -7 TmA-1 , nilai permeabilitas eksperimen pasir Pantai Depok (25,216±0,007)×10 -7 TmA-1,  nilai permeabilitas eksperimen pasir Pantai Parangkusumo (20,478±0,006)×10 -7 TmA-1dan nilai permeabilitas eksperimen pasir Pantai Parangtritis (19,042±4,692)×10 -7 TmA-1. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, didapatkan  nilai permeabilitas relatif dari pasir pantai Depok, pantai Parangtritis, dan pantai Parangkusumo berturut-turut adalah   dan . Hasil penelitian  menunjukan tingkatan nilai permeabilitas relatif  dari pasir pantai Depok lebih tinggi dari pasir pantai yang lainnya sehingga pasir pantai Depok diketahui memiliki kandungan bijih besi yang lebih banyak daripada pasir pantai Parangtritis dan Parangkusumo.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are the abilities that students need to have in the 21st century. When students have critical thinking skills, they are expected to be able to seriously understand, analyze, and process information before making decisions. The purpose of this research is to improve students' critical thinking skills through PBL-based worksheets on the subject of the human digestive system. This LKPD product was developed using the ADDIE model, which was tested at MIN 2 West Lampung. As many as 15 students were in the control class, and 25 students were in the experimental class. The results of this study indicate that the validated LKPD based on the validity test analysis using Aiken yielded a score of 0.8210 in the valid category. The analysis of the practicality test for educators resulted in 85% and 88% of students being in the very practical category, respectively. The product effectiveness analysis resulted in an average pre-test score of 58.4 and an average post-test score of 83.2. The development of worksheets based on the PBL model had a significant influence on students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Objective: Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is a 2030 agenda comprised of 17 goals. One of these goals, the fourth, pertains to Quality Education and includes indicator 4.7, Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), as one of its achievements. The implementation of ESD in education targets the instillation of systems thinking competencies within learning objectives. Consequently, students are expected to possess systems thinking competencies as a direct outcome of the learning process. The purpose of the research is to find out how good the system thinking competence of students in elementary schools is. Method: This study employs descriptive quantitative methods, analyzing 15 tested items to assess system thinking competencies. The analysis of competency in system thinking involved 65 sixth-grade students at Elementary School 1 Sukaraja. Data collected was analyzed using the Rasch model via the Winstep application. Results: The analysis of the data obtained revealed a notably low interaction between the items and the student's responses, with Cronbach Alpha producing a logit of 0.34. This suggests that students have limited ability to engage with complex systems, as evidenced by the logit number of -0.8. Novelty: The development of systems thinking competency in elementary school students must be continually monitored and fostered as an essential aspect of applying ESD principles to real-life issues to ensure a sustainable future. This is based on an analysis of the data obtained regarding the long-term impact of such an approach on the students' problem-solving abilities.

Abstract

Along with the development of science and technology (IPTEK) which is increasingly sophisticated, the tools used by educators are not optimal in learning, this can be seen from the lack of student interaction during learning. Students do not have the opportunity to interact with the media used by educators longer. In learning geometry on the material of building space, the level of understanding of students on this material requires visualization. Students feel confused to imagine the shape of the building space. The research method used in this research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach that describes a situation objectively using numbers ranging from data collection, interpretation of the data and the appearance and results. The results of the research that has been done that there is an effect of the implementation of geogebra on learning geometry 3D space building material on the mathematical reasoning ability of students. In addition, the effect of geogebra implementation on learning geometry 3D space building material on mathematical reasoning ability has an influence of 94.9%.

Abstract

The low ability of Indonesian students is related to the learning process (especially science learning) which does not fully provide opportunities for students to develop critical reasoning abilities. This research aims to create a SETS-based module to improve students' critical thinking. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) research, the development was carried out referring to Borg & Gall's theory. The population of this study was fourth grade elementary school students. The subjects in this research were determined using a purposive sampling technique and obtained 24 students. Data collection tools use valid and reliable test instruments. The analysis technique used is quantitative and qualitative analysis. The research results show that the module is in the very valid and practical category. Material experts received a score of 0.92, media experts 0.87, language experts 0.93 and pedagogy experts 0.93, overall, in the valid category. The results of the user response assessment from students were 96.4 and teacher practicality was 93.61, including the very practical category). Data uses N-Gain with a calculation result of 0.52. The conclusion shows that the SETS-based module developed is effective in improving elementary school students' critical thinking.

Abstract

This research was motivated by students' low scientific literacy skills and learning that only used textbooks. It is hoped that STEAM-based student worksheets can be an alternative to improving students' scientific literacy skills. This research aims to analyze student worksheets that are valid, practical, and effective for enhancing students' scientific literacy skills. Research and development (R&D) research on the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The research subjects were determined by simple random sampling of 62 fifth-grade elementary school students and 2 class teachers. Data was collected using valid and reliable interviews, questionnaires, and tested methods. Product validation test results show that Aiken's overall validity index is 0.802, which belongs to the very effective category. Valid STEAM-based student worksheets that integrate various scientific disciplines, namely science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics, contextually in one complete learning approach. Practicality is measured through STEAM-based learning, with an average implementation value of 4.91 teacher responses and 4.88 student responses in the practical category, implying that all learning activities can be completed effectively within the allotted time. The paired t-test for scientific literacy achievement produced a significance value of 0.020 < 0.05 with Sig. t-tail, meaning Ho is rejected. Based on the research results, the STEAM-based science worksheet developed is valid, practical, and effective in improving the scientific literacy skills of elementary school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan E-modul berbasis Problem Project Based Learning (PjBL) yang diharapkan mampu untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian menurut ADDIE dengan lima tahapan yaitu: Analisys, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling, populasi penelitian ini adalah guru dan peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 5 Sumberrejo, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah V A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan V B sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian meliputi kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan produk. Kelayakan produk dilihat dari hasil validasi produk tergolong sangat valid, pada segi materi menunjukkan rata-rata sebesar 0,720. Segi bahasa menunjukkan rata-rata sebesar 0,891. Segi media menunjukkan rata-rata sebesar 0,823. Segi pedagogik menunjukkan rata-rata sebesar 0,799. Instrumen tes juga divalidasikan oleh validator sebagai produk penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata sebesar 0,792. Kepraktisan produk dapat dilihat dari rata-rata persentase respon pendidik sebesar 97% dengan interpretasi sangat praktis, sedangkan respon peserta didik sebesar 90% dengan interpretasi sangat praktis. Efektivitas produk dapat dilihat berdasarkan hasil perbandingan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada kedua sampel yaitu kelas eksperimen menggunakan produk dan kelas kontrol tidak menggunakan produk. Berdasarkan hasil rekapitulasi membuktikan bahwa pada kelas eksperimen mendapatkan nilai effect size yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini sebesar 1,50 berkategori besar, hal ini berdasarkan rentang interpretasi d > 0,8 menurut Cohen’s d. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwasanya berdasarkan hasil perbandingan kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan E-modul berbasis PjBL dan kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan produk memiliki rentang nilai yang besar berdasarkan uji effect size.

Abstract

LKPD digital berbasis discovery learning merupakan alternatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kemudahan, kemenarikan, kebermanfaat, dan efektivitas LKPD digital berbasis discovery learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian research and development (R&D), pengembangan dilakukan mengacu pada teori Borg & Gall. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 1 Sumber Rejo. Subjek dalam penelitian ini 20 peserta didik. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes yang valid dan reliabel. Hasil analisis data kevalidan menunjukkan LKPD digital berbasis discovery learning sangat valid  untuk digunakan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan N-Gain dengan hasil perhitungan 0,57. Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD digital berbasis discovery learning yang dikembangkan valid dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik sekolah dasar

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine a significant relationship between study habits and parents' attention to mathematics learning outcomes. This type of research is ex-post facto correlation. The population is 60 students, and is used as a research sample. Questionnaire data collection instrument with a Likert scale. Data analysis uses product moment correlation. It was concluded that the results of the study showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between study habits and parents' attention to mathematics learning outcomes indicated by a correlation coefficient of 0.575 which was at the "strong enough" level with the contribution of variables X1, X2, to Y of 33%. This means that the habit of studying with parents' attention has an effect of 33% on mathematics learning outcomes. Based on the results of research and discussion related to the relationship between study habits and parental attention to students' mathematics learning outcomes. There is a positive and significant relationship between study habits and parents' attention to the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at Cluster Ki Hajar Dewantara, Seputih Agung District.

Abstract

The rapid development that occurs due to the industrial revolution 4.0 and society 5.0 causes many changes in the implementation of learning so that educators need to adapt and innovate in carrying out learning. The application of instructional leadership and servant leadership of school principals is needed in the professionalism of educators, especially in the era that continues to develop today so that it will determine the quality of school learning quality in the era of society 5.0. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between instructional leadership and servant leadership of elementary school principals with learning quality in the era of society 5.0. The population totalled 161 education personnel. The sampling was using proportionate stratified random sampling technique consisting of school principals and some educators in Gugus Matahari Natar District with a total of 63 respondents. The design used is a quantitative approach. The research data were collected through questionnaire and documentation techniques. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between instructional leadership and servant leadership of elementary school principals with the quality of learning in the era of society 5.0 with a correlation coefficient of 0.825 which is in the ‘Very Strong’ criteria.
