Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran quantum teaching untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika pada materi optik di MTs Nurul Huda. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dari tidak maksimalnya siswa dalam memahami materi pelajaran yang disampaikan oleh guru mata pelajaran IPA. Hal ini disebabkan karena siswa sering kali hanya bermain dan bergurau bersama teman-temannya, tidak begitu mendengarkan penjelasan dari guru di depan kelas. Setelah mengkaji dari beberapa literatur, penulis menemukan bahwa metode pengajaran yang tepat dengan hal tersebut adalah metode quantum teaching.Dengan Memanfaatkan pola perilaku siswa dan mengatur atau mendesain lingkungan serta suasana belajar menjadi menyenangkan bahkan terkesan bermain-main namun sebenarnya serius, diharapkan hasil belajar siswa dapat meningkat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran quantum teaching dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi optik di kelas VIII1 MTs Nurul Huda. Hasil belajar pada penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Peningkatan nilai rata-rata kognitif pada siklus I dari 70,43 menjadi 80,43. Ketuntasan klasikal mengalami peningkatan dari 61% menjadi 87%. Nilai rata-rata afektif siswa dalam hal minat meningkat dari siklus I sebesar 68% menjadi 85% pada siklus II. Nilai rata-rata psikomotorik siklus I sebesar 70% meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 84%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan pengembangan modul praktikum mandiri yang digunakan sebagai asesmen keterampilan proses sains dan keterampilan sosial mahasiswa. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika STKIP Nurul Huda Sukaraja semester 2 Tahun Akademik 2017/2018 berjumlah 19 mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian (research and development), adapun model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model 4-D. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian dengan kuesioner, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul praktikum mandiri yang dihasilkan secara keseluruhan dari penilaian aspek kelayakan isi, kebahasaan, kegrafikan, kemanfaatan produk, dan keterlaksanaan pratikum diperoleh nilai rata-rata skor total 3,65 dari penilaian teman sejawat, dan nilai rata-rata skor total 3,64 penilaian dari responden pengguna. Nilai tersebut mengindikasikan modul yang dikembangkan sangat layak digunakan dalam proses perkuliahan. Hasil asesmen keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa diperoleh nilai rerata total 3,19 yang mengindikasikan baik, sedangkan didapatkan nilai rerata total 3,53 dengan indikasi sangat baik pada penilaian keterampilan sosial mahasiswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh diberikannya pendekatan open-ended terhadap kemampuan siswa berpikir kreatif pada mata pelajaran fisika yang menggunakan perangkat lunak Modellus dalam pembelajaran. Setelah dilakukan penelitian quasi experiment didapat hasil penelitian: (1) pendekatan open-ended berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang dapat dilihat dari peningkatan hasil belajar dari aspek afektif dan kognitif yang signifikan antara pretest dengan posttest pada kelas eksperimen, dan peningkatan yang tidak begitu besar pada kelas kontrol. (2) Uji statistik dengan N-Gain memperlihatkan dari 25 siswa, untuk kategori sangat tinggi terdapat 4 siswa pada kelas eksperimen, namun tidak ada satu siswapun pada kelas kontrol, untuk kategori sedang terdapat 12 siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan 7 siswa pada kelas kontrol, serta untuk kategori sangat rendah tidak ada satu siswapun di kelas eksperimen dan 3 siswa pada kelas kontrol (3) Uji statistik dengan uji t dua pihak menghasilkan thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (4,723 >2,011), dan - thitung lebih kecil dari -ttabel (-,723 < -2,011).

Abstract

Learning that relies solely on printed textbooks without the application of active learning models can hinder the development of students' abilities, including critical thinking skills. Students become less engaged and have difficulty connecting the material to real-life situations. This study aims to develop a Problem-Based Learning (PBL)-based Electronic Student Worksheet (ESW) and analyze its effectiveness in improving the critical thinking skills of elementary school students. This research is a type of research and development using the Plomp model. The study involved a sample of 53 students divided into two groups: the experimental group, which used the PBL-based ESW, and the control group, which used printed textbooks from the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud). Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires, and tests. Data were analyzed using an independent sample t-test, N-Gain, and effect size. The t-test results showed a Sig. 2-tailed value of 0.038 (<0.05), indicating a significant difference between the two groups. The average N-Gain of the experimental class was 0.5779 and the control class was 0.3879, both within the moderate category. The effect size value of 0.587 falls into the large effect category. These results indicate that the application of the PBL-based ESW has a positive and significant impact on improving students' critical thinking skills. Overall, the PBL-based ESW has been proven to be effective in elementary school learning.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low creative thinking ability of students in science and science learning at SD Negeri 3 Sulusuban. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of Creative Problem Solving (CPS) based LKPD integrated with differentiated learning on elementary school IPAS learning. The method in this research is Quasi Experimental Group Design. The sample in the study was 42 people, the sample was determined using non-probability sampling techniques with a saturated sample type. Data collection uses test techniques, observation, documentation, interviews and questionnaires. Hypothesis testing uses a simple linear regression test. The results of the research show that there is an influence of LKPD based on Creative Problem Solving (CPS) integrated with differentiated learning on students' creative thinking abilities in class V IPAS learning at SD Negeri 3 Sulusuban for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to develop E-LKPD teaching materials based on project-based learning by utilizing Thunkable as a learning media for science material on metamorphosis, with a focus on improving critical thinking skills among third-grade elementary school students. This research is a type of development research (Research and Development). The research process includes data collection through validity sheets and practicality sheets in the form of questionnaires containing feedback from teachers and students. The validation team consists of three experts: a subject matter expert, a language expert, and a media expert. The validation results indicate that the feasibility of the E-LKPD is in the very good category, with scores of 96.0% from the media expert, 89.0% from the language expert, and 90.0% from the science subject expert. Student responses to the use of E-LKPD reached 91.5%, while teacher responses reached 96%, both of which fall into the very suitable category. The average effectiveness of using E-LKPD is 89.6%, indicating that the product meets the expected criteria. The results of this study prove that the project-based learning-based E-LKPD is feasible to use in learning and effective in enhancing the critical thinking skills of third-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Physics education in college is often faced with the great challenge of conveying abstract concepts such as quantum mechanics and relativity. In response to these challenges, this research developed a Metaverse Learning Space (MLS) that aims to improve the visualization and understanding of these abstract concepts. This research uses the ADDIE development method, which includes five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects consisted of 50 students from the Computer Systems Engineering (RSK) study program at Bina Insan University. Through the use of MLS, pre-test and post-test results show a significant improvement in understanding of physics concepts. The results of the statistical test with the paired sample t-test show that MLS has a positive impact on student understanding. This research contributes to the development of technology-based learning methods to support a deeper conceptual understanding of the field of physics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan modul ajar berbasis CTL terhadap kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas IV SD IT Smart Insani. Jenis penelitian yang diterapkan adalah eksperimen semu dengan nonequivalent control group design. Subjekpenelitian ini berjumlah 97 peserta didik, dimana sampel sebanyak 48 peserta didik ditentukan melalui teknikpurposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes pilihan ganda (15 soal). Melalui uji hipotesis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, yang artinya penerapan modul ajar berbasis CTL berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan literasi sains. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa model CTL memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik kels IV SD IT Smart Insani

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to develop an ethnomathematics-based electronic student worksheet (e-LKPD) on flat shapes material that is valid, practical, and effective in improving the critical thinking skills of elementary school students. The integration of cultural elements into mathematics education is intended to make learning more meaningful and contextually relevant. Method: The research employed the Plomp development model, consisting of three phases: (1) preliminary investigation to identify learning needs and cultural relevance, (2) design and development of the e-LKPD incorporating ethnomathematical elements from the Lampung tapis cloth, and (3) evaluation of validity by experts, practicality by students, and effectiveness through pretest-posttest comparisons. Findings: The results of the study indicate that the developed ethnomathematics-based e-LKPD is highly valid, practical, and effective in supporting students' learning. Expert evaluations confirmed that the content, language, and media used in the e-LKPD met high standards of quality. Students found the material easy to use, engaging, and aligned with their learning needs. Moreover, the implementation of the e-LKPD led to a noticeable improvement in students’ critical thinking skills, as reflected in their increased ability to comprehend, analyze, and reflect on mathematical concepts presented through cultural contexts. Significance: This study contributes to the advancement of culturally responsive digital pedagogy in mathematics education. The ethnomathematics-based e-LKPD not only improves critical thinking but also fosters cultural appreciation and engagement. It serves as a replicable model for integrating local culture into digital learning tools and supports educational innovation aligned with 21st-century competencies.

Abstract

This study aims to create a student worksheet based on the Problem-based Learning (PBL) model in science learning, test its feasibility, and identify student and teacher responses to the implementation of the student worksheet. The instruments were validation sheets and student and teacher response questionnaires. The research data were descriptively and qualitatively analyzed based on the criteria score. Material expert validation obtained an average of 0.8409 with "high" criteria. An average of 0.8036 with "high" criteria was obtained for language expert validation. Media expert validation obtained an average of 0.7522 with "moderately high" criteria. According to the findings of the field trial, the average response of teachers was 86% with the criteria "excellent," and the average response of students was 85% with the criteria "excellent and highly suitable." Furthermore, the n-gain value obtained was 0.7 in the "moderate" category. As a result, the developed student worksheet can be used to improve students' critical thinking skills. Thus, teachers are advised to create student worksheets based on other materials.
