Abstract

The politeness strategy is the communication strategy used by the teacher by submitting to the politeness principle in his directive act. This is the teacher's effort to manage the class and internalize the value of moderation by accommodating mediocrity values, meaning tolerance, balance value in teaching Arabic to reach interactive and communicative education useful to improve students' personality as an effect of online learning for a long time. The purpose of this research is to analize the teacher's politeness strategy by internalizing the value of moderation in Dar Al-Salam islamic boarding school. this research was designed with a qualitative approach, with the type of case study. A method for collecting data by making observations in teaching Arabic, and documenting the teacher's politeness strategy in her guiding actions, and interviewing the context of these teacher’s acts. The results of this research are, the politeness strategy used by the teacher in his speech acts in two ways: 1) the direct politeness strategy with four functions, a) the request, b) the command, c) the invitation, d) the prohibition, and 2) the indirect politeness strategy with two functions, a) the request and b) the prohibition. The results of this research contribute to the teacher's strategy in classroom management by using several politeness strategies in speech act’s so that learning is more interactive and communicative due to mutual respect and tolerance between teacher and students.Therefore, it is necessary to conduct the following research on understanding the values of moderation through the curriculum in teaching Arabic

Abstract

Rice husk is a by-product of rice production where as much as 9.9 million tons become organic waste. Rice husk ash, which is rich in silica, can be processed into materials that have high selling value. Magnesium silicate is one of the silica-based composite materials with the chemical formula MgSiO3 with an example of its application as a material in the manufacture of magnesium cement. The manufacture of magnesium silicate is done by sol-gel method with NaOH solvent where this method is relatively easy and uses simple equipment. This study was conducted to know the best NaOH concentration and length of reaction time to produce optimal magnesium silicate. The NaOH concentration variables used were 3 M, 5 M, 7 M, and 9 M, while the variable length of reaction time was 90 minutes and 150 minutes. The best NaOH concentration is 7M with 90 minutes of reaction time. This variable gave 49,9% yield of magnesium silicate compared to 3M with 90 minutes reaction time where it gave 17,4% yield. The analytical tests carried out were FITR where this test was carried out to confirm the formation of magnesium silicate

Abstract

Mangosteen is one of the largest commodities in Kaliglagah Village, Jember, and branding efforts are required to enhance its recognition and establish its identity. Social media was chosen as a strategic platform for branding, aiming to promote the mangosteen and its advantages while empowering farmers and improving the village’s economy. This study employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, engaging local communities and leaders in learning, problem-solving, and social change. Although Kaliglagah mangosteen is of premium quality, it lacks a strong identity as a signature product of Jember. Branding strategies were implemented through Blogspot, Instagram, and Facebook platforms, involving collaboration with farmers, farmer groups, and the village government. Activities included problem identification, collaborative planning, communication with agricultural authorities, and branding execution via social media. These efforts aim to expand markets, strengthen local identity, and support farmer empowerment. Evaluations showed positive responses, although improving digital literacy among farmer groups remains necessary for optimal results. Keywords: Branding Strategy, Social Media, Farmer Empowerment Abstrak: Manggis merupakan salah satu komoditas terbesar di Desa Kaliglagah, Jember, yang membutuhkan upaya branding agar lebih dikenal dan diakui. Media sosial dipilih sebagai sarana strategis untuk branding, dengan harapan memperkenalkan manggis beserta keunggulannya, sekaligus memberdayakan petani dan meningkatkan perekonomian desa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), melibatkan masyarakat dan tokoh lokal dalam pembelajaran, pemecahan masalah, dan perubahan sosial. Meskipun manggis Kaliglagah memiliki kualitas unggulan, identitasnya sebagai produk khas daerah Jember belum kuat. Strategi branding dilakukan melalui platform seperti Blogspot, Instagram, dan Facebook, melibatkan kolaborasi dengan petani, kelompok tani, dan pemerintah desa. Kegiatan meliputi identifikasi permasalahan, perencanaan kolaboratif, komunikasi dengan dinas pertanian, dan pelaksanaan branding melalui media sosial. Upaya ini diharapkan memperluas pasar, memperkuat identitas lokal, dan mendukung pemberdayaan petani. Evaluasi menunjukkan respons positif, namun peningkatan literasi digital kelompok tani tetap diperlukan. Kata kunci: Strategi branding, Media sosial, Pemberdayaan petani

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan prinsip-prinsip good governance dan kinerja keuangan yayasan YPI Darussalam Cerme dengan paradigma good governance. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa YPI Darussalam telah menerapkan prinsip-prinsip good governance, namun penyajian laporan keuangan belum sesuai dengan ISAK 35. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ketika organisasi nirlaba menerapkan prinsip-prinsip good governance, organisasi nirlaba dapat berkembang pesat dan mendapatkan kepercayaan masyarakat.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan poin penting untuk menjadikan siswa cerdas. Berintegritas dan bermoral untuk mempersiapkan mereka dalam menghadapi tantangan di masa depan melalui sikap positif, beretika dan tangguh. K.H. Hasyim Asy’ari merupakan tokoh pendidikan yang berfokus pada penanaman karakter bagi siswa melalui karya beliau Adabul Alim Wal Mutaallim. Pendampingan penggunaan media evaluasi adventure memiliki tujuan memberikan kmudahan bagi siswa menanamkan nilai karakter sebagai cara untuk menanggulangi dampak negatif perkembangan teknologi. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dengan metode Service Learning yakni survei, pendampingan dan refleksi berupa kegiatan evaluasi. Hasil pendampingan menunjukkan bahwa 65% siswa merasa sangat puas dan 35% merasa puas atas kegiatan ini. Kegiatan ini berdampak positif pada perwujudan peningkatan nilai toleransi, kemandirian, ketelitian, kerja kerasm tanggung jawab dan bernalar kritis sebagai usaha pencapaian profil lulusan berbasis dimensi.

Abstract

It turns out that the phenomenon in teaching Arabic is that students' thinking skills are still low. This phenomenon is evident in the number of students who give wrong answers to Arabic language questions that require deep thinking during Arabic language teaching. This is not consistent with the current curriculum that requires students to develop their mentality, specifically to think either critically or creatively. This phenomenon indicates that the level of thinking skills, especially in short-term memory, among students is still low. Therefore, the aim of this research is to develop the game "Brain Adventure" to develop short-term memory among students in teaching Arabic to sixth grade primary school students. The method used in this research is developmental research with the ADDIE development model. This model is implemented in several stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The researchers focused on the first four stages. The results of this research are: the first stage of this research is the analysis of the curricula, the analysis of the materials, and the analysis of the students' memory abilities. The second stage is the design of questions and materials according to the curriculum. The third stage is the development of the game using the adventure model. The fourth stage is the implementation, which includes testing the material experts and educational media experts before implementing the developed game on small topics. As for the results of the questionnaire, the level of feasibility of the adventure game from the experts falls into the value "very good". This indicates that this game is suitable for use in teaching the Arabic language as a teaching tool to develop short-term memory in students.

Abstract

Online learning has an impact on students' psychology, namely the decline in ethics, tolerance, and selfishness. This needs to be given a solution, namely through a strategy of internalizing the value of moderation in curriculum development in educational institutions where students study. This study aims to analyze how the strategy of internalizing the value of moderation in the Arabic curriculum at Darus Salam Islamic boarding school Jombang. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. Interviews, observations and documentation are techniques used by researchers in collecting data which are then analyzed by interactive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the strategy for internalizing the value of moderation in the development of the Arabic language curriculum at the Darus Salam Islamic Boarding School is through, 1) the Moderation Value Transformation Stage through the formulation and dissemination of the vision and mission of the Islamic boarding school, the integration of the Arabic language curriculum in Islamic boarding schools and in schools through the program. daily and weekly programs of Islamic boarding schools as well as information on student discipline in wall magazines and in Early Taaruf; 2) Value Transaction Stage, at this stage the value is moderated through good interaction between teachers and students or musyrif and students in implementing curriculum programs on learning activities and the material being studied; 3) Tran-internalization stage, at this stage the value of moderation is internalized through example and habituation. This research contributes to Arabic teachers in forming students who are moderate, tolerant and have character.

Abstract

The decline in students' character values ​​negatively impacts deviant behavior, such as easily believing false news and their inability to compete in society due to their constant dependence on others. This indicates that the achievement of national education goals as stated in Pancasila is still  not optimal. K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari has also initiated his ideas written in the Book of Adabul Alim Wal Mutaallim on how to integrate character values in education, one of which is through the Neuroscience-based evaluation media "Mihya Arabiy". Based on this background, this article focuses on examining the form of integration of Character Values based on the thoughts of K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari in the Mihya Arabiy evaluation media. A qualitative approach and a case study type were used in this study. Data were collected using the Observation method of Arabic language learning in Class VII MTS and analyzed using an interactive model pioneered by Miles and Huberman. The results of this study indicate that the Integration of character values based on the thoughts of K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari in the Neuroscience-based evaluation media Mihya Arabiy is shown with four characters: independence, accuracy, critical thinking, and creative thinking. These four characters are contained in the Neuroscience-based Evaluation media, which has a positive impact on interactive learning, language skills, and improving students' moral value.   ويؤثر تراجع القيم الأخلاقية لدى الطلاب سلبًا على سلوكياتهم المنحرفة، مثل سهولة تصديق الأخبار الكاذبة، وعجزهم عن المنافسة في المجتمع نتيجة اعتمادهم الدائم على الآخرين. وهذا يدل على أن تحقيق أهداف التعليم الوطني، كما وردت في بانكاسيلا، لا يزال دون المستوى الأمثل. كما طرح الحاج الشيخ هاشم أشعرى أفكاره المكتوبة في كتاب "أداب العالم والمتعلم" حول كيفية دمج قيم الشخصية في عملية التعليم، ومن بينها من خلال وسيلة التقييم القائمة على علم الأعصاب "مهيا عربي. وبناء على هذه الخلفية، تركز هذه المقالة على دراسة صيغة اندماح القيم الأخلاقية استناداً إلى أفكار الحاج الشيخ هاشم أشعرى في وسائل التقييم "مهيا عربي". وتعتمد هذه الدراسة على منهج نوعي ودراسة حالة. وجُمعت البيانات باستخدام أسلوب الملاحظة لتعليم اللغة العربية في الصف السابع من المرحلة المتوسطة ومقابلة مع معلم والطلاب فيه، وحُللت البانات باستخدام نموذج تفاعلي ابتكره مايلز وهوبرمان. وتشير نتائج هذه الدراسة إلى أن اندماج قيم الأخلاقية، بناءً على أفكار الحاج الشيخ هاشم أشعرى، في برنامج التقييم  العصبي "مهيا عربي"، يتجلى في أربع سمات: الاستقلالية، والدقة، والتفكير النقدي، والتفكير الإبداعي. وتتجلى هذه السمات الأربع في برنامج التقييم القائم على علم الأعصاب، ومما يُسهم إيجابيًا في التعليم التفاعلي، ومهارات اللغة، وتنمية القيم الأخلاقية لدى الطلاب.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the SKUA program based on persuasive strategy to realize a religious culture at MI Darussalam Badang Jombang. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, because the purpose of the study was to find data that was natural setting where the conditions studied were in accordance with the conditions in the field. The findings in this study in the implementation of the SKUA program based on persuasive strategy include the habituation of applying the materials contained in the SKUA program provided by educators and students not only apply them at school but also in everyday life. In addition, good role models in behavior and attitude are also shown by educators so that students imitate and apply them.  Future research can focus on analyzing the long-term effectiveness of the SKUA program based on persuasive strategy in shaping students' religious culture, both within the school environment and in their daily lives. A longitudinal approach can be employed to observe changes in students' attitudes and behaviors over a certain period, allowing for an assessment of the extent to which religious values are internalized sustainably. Furthermore, the study can expand its scope by comparing the implementation of the SKUA program across multiple educational institutions to identify factors influencing its success. This comparative study approach will provide broader insights into the effectiveness of persuasive strategy methods in fostering religious culture in various educational contexts.

Abstract

Sebagai negara dengan populasi Muslim terbesar, Indonesia memiliki potensi pasar produk kuliner halal yang sangat besar. Namun, kesadaran pelaku usaha terhadap kewajiban sertifikasi sesuai UU Nomor 33 Tahun 2014 masih perlu ditingkatkan. Kota Surabaya memiliki potensi wisata kuliner signifikan melalui Sentra Wisata Kuliner (SWK), sehingga penerapan sertifikasi halal menjadi esensial untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen serta daya saing produk UMKM lokal. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran dan kepatuhan pelaku UMKM di Pujasera Keputih, Surabaya, terhadap regulasi halal. Melalui kolaborasi tim KKN, metode pelaksanaan mencakup identifikasi usaha, sosialisasi Jaminan Produk Halal (JPH), hingga pendampingan administratif pengajuan sertifikasi skema self-declare. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pendampingan intensif ini berhasil membantu pelaku usaha memperoleh sertifikat halal sekaligus meningkatkan pemahaman mengenai prinsip halalan thayyiban dan kebersihan proses produksi. Keberlanjutan program diharapkan dapat memperluas jangkauan sertifikasi halal di berbagai sentra kuliner lainnya melalui kolaborasi antar lembaga.
