Abstract

Pada saat ini masyarakat Indonesia tengah memasuki era globalisasi dan moderenisasi yang penuh dengan tantangan yang menuntut masyarakat Indonesia menjadi manusia yang lebih berkualitas tinggi dengan wawasan luas dan segala ketrampilan yang dimiliki. Seiring dengan kemajuan dalam bidang ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, maka setiap organisasi harus mampu menerapkan, memanfaatkan, serta mengelolanya .Berhubungan dengan perkembangan tersebut, maka pelaksanaan berbagai usaha yang dilakukan organisasi maupun lembaga harus sejalan dengan kemajuan dan perkembangan yang ada. Dengan begitu tugas pekerjaan yang diemban semakin berat dan membutuhkan spesifikasi kemampuan dan keterampilan yang spesifik pula, untuk menjamin tiap bidang pekerjaan terlaksana sesuai dengan tujuan yang telah direncanakan. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan pengembangan sumber daya manusia melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan kepemimpinan bagi Mahasiswa universitas pamulang, serta untuk mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Penelitian ini berjenis deskriptif kualitatif. Fokus penelitian ini yaitu meliputi kurikulum, metode belajar mengajar, tenaga pengajar, alat bantu pendidikan, anggaran/pendanaan, dan faktor pendukung serta faktor penghambat pengembangan sumber daya manusia melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan kepemimpinan bagi Mahasiswa universitas pamulang. Sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu model interaktif yang terdiri dari kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat diketahui bahwa kurikulum yang masih kurang disesuaikan dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan masa kini, metode belajar mengajarnya masih monoton karena hanya berupa ceramah dan kurang ada simulasi-simulasi kreatif, serta kompetensi tenaga pengajar belum disertai dengan pembaharuan sesuai kondisi saat ini. Sedangkan dilihat, fasilitas sudah cukup memadai.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris meliputi 4 keterampilan berbahasa; menyimak, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis, oleh karena itu diperlukan pengelolaan yang baik agar upaya sekolah dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris dapat tercapai. Manajemen pembelajaran merupakan solusi inovatif dalam meningkatkan budaya literasi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di SMA. Kurikulum 2013 diterbitkan dengan penyempurnaan standar nasional pendidikan sebagai upaya peningkatan kualitas hasil pembelajaran. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen mutu pembelajaran bahasa Inggris dilaksanakan berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip manajemen; (1) Perencanaan, Penyusunan KTSP, Penyusunan RPP, Penyusunan Silabus, Metode Pembelajaran, Media Pembelajaran, Sarana dan Prasarana PBM, Penyusunan Tata Tertib, (2) Pengorganisasian, Penetapan Struktur Organisasi, Pembagian tugas dan wewenang, Pembagian kerja mekanisme, dan penyiapan ruang, (3) Pelaksanaan, Sosialisasi Instrumen PBM, Pengaturan suasana kelas, Pembukaan Proses Pembelajaran, Diskusi Kelas, Penugasan, Simulasi, Kinerja, (4) Monitoring dan Evaluasi, Pelaksanaan tanya jawab dalam pembelajaran dan kegiatan pembelajaran, Pelaksanaan tugas, kinerja, portofolio, evaluasi non tes lainnya, pelaksanaan PTS, PAS, PAT, AS, UN, asesmen, kemampuan kerja mandiri, kemampuan kerja kelompok, kinerja hasil belajar, UTS/UAS, sekolah ujian, portofolio, remedial dan pengayaan. (5) Mencari solusi atas kendala yang muncul dengan pengadaan dan pemanfaatan infrastruktur, penyiapan dan pembagian kerja SDM, penyusunan anggaran, penetapan regulasi.

Abstract

Implementing the Balance Scorecard (BSC) cannot guarantee the success of an organization in achieving its goal, this depends on how strong the determination is to implement BSC in the organization. Studies regarding the opportunities and challenges faced in the process of implementing or implementing BSC in schools are still very limited. The aims of this research are to: 1). Know, describe and analyze opportunities and challenges in implementing BSC at SMK Negeri 4 Tasikmalaya and SMK Negeri 1 Cipaku Ciamis; 2) describe the opportunities and challenges of implementing BSC at SMK Negeri 4 Tasikmalaya and SMK Negeri 1 Cipaku Ciamis. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis study, collecting primary and secondary data. The analysis technique used in this research follows the Mile’s model. The research results show that as non-profit organizations, SMK Negeri 4 Tasikmalaya and SMK Negeri 1 Cipaku Ciamis are trying to implement BSC to measure their performance. The results of this assessment are contained in the Annual Work Plan (RKT) which is displayed in various strategies with the highest scores in the BSC analysis which will be implemented in the coming year period. Conclusions are : 1) The implementation of BSC at SMK Negeri 4 Tasikmalaya and SMK Negeri 1 Cipaku Ciamis has been implemented well. Viewed from a customer perspective, internal processes, growth and learning as well as a financial perspective, Many schools have implemented the BSC concept and supported BSC-based performance development. 2) chool has challenges in its implementation, especially in terms of collaboration with Dudi. Schools rarely carry out market research to meet industry needs, there is still a lack of commitment from school management in terms of consistent implementation of BSC. Schools also have difficulty measuring and evaluating school progress performance. Schools still experience dependence on BOS and BOPD funds and still lack transparency and accountability in managing school finances.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kebijakan sekolah dalam penggunaan gadged siswa SMAN 18 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan data yang dikumpulkan menunjukkan bahwa dalam peraturan di sekolah menegaskan bahwa diperbolehkannya penggunaan gadget di sekolah tersebut, baik itu melalui keterangan yang diperoleh dari kepala sekolah, guru-guru, maupun para siswa. Penggunaan Gadget diperbolehkan dengan syarat hanya bisa digunakan saat guru pada mata pelajaran yang berlangsung memperbolehkan atau mengizinkannya untuk menggunakan gadget. Adapun dampak yang ditimbulkan dari kebijakan ini terbagi menjadi dua yakni dampak positif dan negatif. dampak positifnya yaitu mempermudah para guru dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, serta meningkatkan kemampuan kreativitas siswa dan pemecahan masalah. Sedangkan dampak negatifnya yaitu, membuat siswa malas berpikir dan menyalah gunakan gadget mereka serta penurunan konsentrasi saat belajar gadget akan disita dan akan dikembalikan pada saat kenaikan kelas semester selanjutnya kemudian siswa yang melanggar akan diberi bimbingan konseling berupa nasihat.

Abstract

Penelitian studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran manajemen peserta didik dalam meningkatkan pengembangan potensi bakat dan minat peserta didik di sekolah/madrasah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh peneliti dalam memperoleh data dan informasi di antaranya meliputi observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan triangulasi (penggabungan dari ketiganya). Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan informan dalam hal ini seperti kepala sekolah, guru, dan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan potensi peserta didik di beberapa sekolah dan madrasah masih kurang optimal, terutama dalam hal pengembangan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang tidak terjadwal dengan baik. Meskipun demikian, peran guru sebagai pembimbing sangat signifikan dalam membantu peserta didik mengidentifikasi dan mengembangkan bakat dan minat mereka. Pembimbingan yang dilakukan secara konsisten dan berkesinambungan terbukti meningkatkan motivasi dan pencapaian potensi peserta didik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pentingnya peran guru dalam mengelola potensi peserta didik, tidak hanya sebatas pengajaran di kelas, tetapi juga dalam memberikan arahan, motivasi, dan bimbingan agar peserta didik dapat mengasah minat dan bakat mereka. Diperlukan juga kerjasama yang lebih baik antara pihak sekolah, orang tua, dan masyarakat dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung pengembangan potensi peserta didik secara optimal.

Abstract

One of the factors that play an important role in improving the quality of education is strategic management. The purpose of this research is to find out, examine, analyse, and understand in depth the implementation of management functions in Islamic boarding schools, factors inhibiting the implementation of management functions in Islamic boarding schools, and solutions to obstacles to the implementation of management functions in realising the goals of Islamic boarding schools Nurul Huda and At-Thaariq Garut. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-holistic method and case study analysis to analyse the use of supporting tools for management practices. Based on the research results, Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda and Pondok Pesantren At-Thaariq Garut have implemented strategic management, which includes planning, directing, supervising, and evaluating, involving all divisions to achieve educational goals. However, obstacles such as lack of synergy, discipline, understanding of tasks, and conflict of orders between leaders still hinder the optimal implementation of strategies. In conclusion, to achieve better results, pesantren needs to improve the analysis of HR needs, strengthen the discipline system, and conduct consistent evaluations. A collaborative and holistic approach in strategic management will help pesantren achieve their vision, mission, and expected education quality.

Abstract

This study focuses on the analysis of the Smart Indonesia Card (KIP) policy in junior high schools in Bandung City to understand its effectiveness in promoting educational equality. The purpose of the study was to identify supporting and inhibiting factors for this policy, and to offer solutions for improvement. Using a qualitative method with a descriptive case study approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the KIP distribution mechanism has been running, but socialization and targeting accuracy are still less than optimal. Some students in need do not receive benefits, while students from well-off families do. Supporting factors include ease of access to information, while inhibiting factors include administrative constraints and data synchronization. Recommendations include giving schools more authority in making decisions related to KIP, intensifying supervision, and awareness from the community who are already well-off to stop assistance.

Abstract

Organizational culture is a fundamental element in creating a harmonious work environment and supporting the achievement of educational goals. This study aims to explore strategies for strengthening organizational culture implemented by school principals in an effort to improve teacher commitment at SDN Pasawahan 08 Dayeuhkolot and SDN Jatisari Baleendah. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that school principals play a central role in shaping organizational culture through exemplary leadership, effective communication, teacher involvement in decision-making, and the implementation of literacy, religious, and award programs. This strategy has an impact on increasing teachers' sense of belonging, motivation, and loyalty to the institution, which ultimately strengthens professional commitment. These findings emphasize the importance of participatory leadership and collective values ​​in building a strong organizational culture in elementary schools.

Abstract

Effective school leadership shapes teachers’ work ethics and overall performance. In the context of MTs Darul Hikam Bandung, understanding how principal leadership influences teacher motivation and commitment is essential. Although transformational leadership has been recognized for fostering a positive school climate, challenges such as declining teacher engagement and productivity persist. This study explores the principal’s leadership strategies for improving teachers’ work ethics and enhancing their commitment to teaching. It examines the impact of transformational leadership on teacher motivation and job satisfaction. A qualitative research approach was employed, utilizing in-depth interviews with principals, teachers, administrative staff, and classroom observations. Thematic analysis was applied to identify leadership practices and their effects on teacher motivation and professional commitment. The findings revealed that the principal adopted a transformational leadership style, emphasizing role modelling, effective communication, and continuous professional development. Teachers reported increased motivation and a greater sense of value due to the principal’s support and responsiveness. Key strategies included regular training sessions, collaborative decision-making, and fostering a supportive work environment to help teachers overcome instructional challenges. The results demonstrated that transformational leadership positively influenced teachers’ commitment and job satisfaction. Transformational leadership significantly enhances teachers’ work ethics by fostering interpersonal relationships, promoting professional development, and ensuring clear communication. This study provides valuable insights for educational stakeholders to strengthen teacher engagement and improve school effectiveness. Further research is recommended to validate these findings in diverse educational settings.

Abstract

This study explored early childhood perceptions of religious values education at Kemala Bhayangkari 30 STIK Kindergarten. Using a quantitative approach with a survey method, this study involved 20 purposively selected children aged 4-6 years. Data was collected through direct observation to measure children's understanding of religious value concepts, such as honesty, kindness, and respect. The results showed that 40% of the children understood the value of honesty well, 35% understood the value of kindness, and 25% understood the value of respect. Children who engaged in interactive teaching with parental involvement showed higher understanding (85%) than children who only received lecture-based teaching (55%). In addition, support from the school environment also significantly influenced children's understanding, with a supportive environment resulting in a 90% comprehension rate. In comparison, a less supportive climate achieved only 55%. The study concludes that interactive teaching approaches, parental involvement, and support from the school environment are crucial in shaping children's understanding of religious values. The findings highlight the importance of improving teaching methods and cooperation between schools and parents in supporting the internalization of spiritual values in early childhood.
