Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) Analyze the influence of the variation media of pineapple liquid waste  (PLW) to increase the growth of Chlorella sp. (2) Analyze the influece the variation of media to increase the fat of Chlorella sp. (3) To determine Media Concentration of pineapple liquid waste to optimal level  for the growth of Chlorella sp. (4) Determine the optimum concentration of pineapple liquid waste for the highest fat content in Microalgae (Chlorella sp.)  This study uses design experimental method, design of the design used is Variety Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with one control (PLW 0%), and 5 treatments PLW 20%,40%,60%,80% and 100% which each four times repeated. 5 ml Chlorella sp. The early density 8 x104  cell/ml inoculated in 100 ml PLW.   For each culture media were cultivated for 10 days. The calculation Chlorella sp. Conducted which calculated the amount of cell/day as long as cultivation. Meanwhile the calculation of fat content conducted at the end of cultivation. Anlyzed used Multy-Variant.Based on study result and explanation were got conclusion (1) Significant influence of variation media pineapple liquid waste toward the growth and fat content of Chlorella sp. (2) Cell density of Chlorella was highest in pineapple liquid waste media 100% (3) The highest fat content was found in concentratin media 60% pineapple liquid waste.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Integrated Hard Science Laboratory of Muhammadiyah University of Metro on August 16 to September 1, 2016. The observation and data recording was carried out for 10 days. The study used RAL design (Complete Random Design). The sample consisted of 6 treatments with 4 replications. The pineapple liquid waste (PLW) given are various in concentrations, namely 0% (as a control), 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100%, with 5ml culture of Chlorella sp added to each. The data were analyzed with Normality Test, Homogeneity Test and Multi Variat Test. The analysis was performed by using SPSS.21 application. From this analysis, It can be concluded from throughout research data analysis the Chlorella sp growth rate made sigmoid pattern of growth, relevant with the existing theories of rate of growth. The greater the concentration of PLW added to the culture medium, the greater the opportunity for Chlorella sp to be able to grow and flourish. It can be seen in the culture medium of 100% PLW which has exceeded the level of cell density in culture media of 0% PLW (control) as much as 2.13 x106 cells /ml. Of the various treatments with various PLW concentrations on the growth of Chlorella sp it was found that the highest population density is in the culture medium of 100% PLW. Of the various treatment with various PLW concentration it was found the highest amount of omega-3 Chlorella sp is in the culture medium of  60% PLW, i.e. 5, 1%

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Masyarakat Desa Sri Rejosari mayoritas memiliki peternakan kambing. Permasalahan peternak kambing yang dialami adalah kesulitan penyimpanan hijauan, mengolah kotoran kambing dan pengolahan susu. Masyarakat membutuhkan pendampingan untuk mencari solusi yang tepat dalam melakukan upaya untuk penyimpanan hijauan (silase dan fermentasi), mengolah limbah ternak agar tidak mencemari lingkungan, pengolahan susu menjadi produk yang lebih baik dan bisa menjadi produk usaha yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat.Tujuan: Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran masyarakat hidup kreatif dengan teknologi penyimpanan hijauan, mengolah kotoran hewan dan pengolahan susu menjadi produk yang bernilai ekonomis.Metode: Metode pengabdian masyarakat yang digunakan yaitu penyuluhan dan pelatihan dengan praktek langsung ditempat.Hasil: Hasil kegiatan adanya peningkatan kemampuan peternak kambing sebagai sasaran kegiatan untuk penyimpanan hijauan, mengolah kotoran kambing menjadi pupuk, pengolahan susu menjadi kefir dan yogurt. Simpulan kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat terjadi peningkatan pengalaman dan pengetahuan tentang menjadi peternak modern dengan melakukan pelatihan dengan penyampaian materi kepada peserta tentang fermentasi pakan daun singkong, pembuatan kompos padat dan cair kohe kambing serta pengolahan susu menjadi kefir dan yogurt. dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapai peternak kambing dalam mengolah kotoran yang tidak sebatas menghasilkan pupuk tetapi bernilai ekonomi.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology, particularly the Internet of Things (IoT), has had a transformative impact on various industries, including the textile sector. IoT facilitates real-time data collection, monitoring, analysis, and decision-making, thereby enhancing efficiency, productivity, and resource sustainability. However, a comprehensive bibliometric study of IoT applications in the textile industry has yet to be undertaken. To address this research gap, this study employs bibliometric methods using the Biblioshiny R package and VOSviewer to examine research trends, key contributors, and emerging themes. By analyzing 177 relevant publications from 2015 to 2025, the study identifies major research directions, influential authors, leading institutions, and evolving areas of interest. The findings highlight a growing research focus on IoT-driven textile innovations, particularly the development of electronic textiles (e-textiles), which integrate electronic components into wearable devices for human use. This positioning of e-textiles at the forefront of smart wearable technology underscores their significance as a critical area of exploration within contemporary textile engineering. Furthermore, China, the United States, and India emerge as the predominant contributors to this research domain. The insights derived from this study offer valuable guidance for researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers, supporting future advancements and innovations in IoT applications within the textile industry.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan ekonomi melalui kewirausahaan berbasis pertanian, khususnya pembuatan keripik, merupakan strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat di daerah pedesaan. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi pemberdayaan ekonomi melalui kewirausahaan berbasis pengolahan hasil pertanian menjadi produk bernilai tambah, yaitu keripik, di Desa Rejoagung, Kecamatan Batanghari, Kabupaten Lampung Timur. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian yakni dengan 3 (tiga) tahapan yakni tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan kewirausahaan berbasis produk olahan pertanian ini telah berhasil meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga, memberdayakan perempuan, serta mengurangi ketergantungan pada sektor pertanian yang rentan terhadap perubahan iklim dan musim. Selain itu, pelatihan kewirausahaan dan pemasaran digital juga berkontribusi dalam memperluas akses pasar dan meningkatkan daya saing produk. Kesimpulannya, pemberdayaan ekonomi melalui kewirausahaan di Desa Rejoagung, khususnya dalam produksi keripik, telah meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat desa. Namun, untuk memastikan keberlanjutan program, diperlukan penguatan kelembagaan dan dukungan dari berbagai pihak, baik pemerintah maupun sektor swasta.

Abstract

Technological advances encourage learning media innovations, one of which is digital comics. This study aims to develop digital comics with the theme of genetic engineering integrated with Islamic values using the ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The results of the needs analysis showed that 90% of students had difficulty understanding the concept of genetic engineering, while 87% were interested in using digital comics as learning media. The developed digital comics were validated by three experts, namely material, media, and Islamic values experts, with the percentage of feasibility of 85%, 98%, and 92%, respectively, all of which were included in the category of “very feasible.” The results of the trial conducted with one teacher obtained an average percentage of 98%, while the trial with 30 students obtained an average percentage of 88%, both in the “very good” category.  These findings indicate that digital comics are feasible to use as biology learning media in high school with interactive audio-visual advantages. Further research is recommended to focus on measuring the achievement of learning objective criteria to determine the impact of using this digital comic on improving overall student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aimed to inform the public about the potential utilization of rubber wastewater and disposable diaper waste as raw materials for organic fertilizer using Pumakkal as a fermentor to enhance edamame productivity. The method used was a literature study of relevant scientific sources, including national and international journals, books, and research reports discussing the characteristics of rubber wastewater, the hydrogel content and organic compounds in disposable diapers, the role of indigenous bacteria in Pumakkal during the fermentation process, and the compliance of organic fertilizer with Indonesian National Standard (SNI). The results showed that rubber wastewater still contains organic materials with potential use as fertilizer, while disposable diapers contain hydrogel and organic compounds from urine that can support nutrient availability. Pumakkal fermentor, which contains indigenous bacteria derived from pineapple wastewater, was able to effectively degrade organic materials, resulting in fertilizer that meets SNI quality standards and has the potential to be applied to improve edamame productivity. In conclusion, the utilization of rubber wastewater and disposable diapers with Pumakkal fermentor shows promising potential as an environmentally friendly organic fertilizer and as a sustainable solution for waste management and edamame productivity enhancement. Abstract

Community empowerment through the Waste Bank program in Rejoagung Village aims to address waste management issues while creating environmentally based economic opportunities. This community service program aims to analyze the impact of the establishment of a Waste Bank on community economic empowerment, especially women, through processing waste into value-added products. The implementation method of the service is in 3 (three) stages: the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The results of the service show that the Waste Bank program has succeeded in increasing community environmental awareness, strengthening institutional capacity, and providing economic opportunities through recycled products such as handicrafts. Training in technical, managerial, and product marketing skills also plays a role in increasing family income, especially for members of the Family Welfare Movement (PKK) and the Women's Farmers Group (KWT). In conclusion, the success of the Waste Bank program in Rejoagung Village shows great potential in environmentally based economic empowerment, but strengthening management and marketing capacity is needed to ensure the program's sustainability.ABSTRAKPemberdayaan masyarakat melalui program Bank Sampah di Desa Rejoagung bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah pengelolaan sampah sekaligus menciptakan peluang ekonomi berbasis lingkungan. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak pembentukan Bank Sampah terhadap pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat, khususnya perempuan, melalui pengolahan sampah menjadi produk bernilai tambah. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian yakni dengan 3 (tiga) tahapan yakni tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa program Bank Sampah berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan masyarakat, memperkuat kapasitas kelembagaan, serta memberikan peluang ekonomi melalui produk daur ulang seperti kerajinan tangan. Pelatihan keterampilan teknis, manajerial, dan pemasaran produk turut berperan dalam meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga, terutama bagi anggota PKK dan Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT). Kesimpulannya, keberhasilan program Bank Sampah di Desa Rejoagung menunjukkan potensi besar dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi berbasis lingkungan, namun diperlukan penguatan kapasitas pengelolaan dan pemasaran untuk memastikan keberlanjutan program.
