Abstract

Desa Mojokarang adalah salah satu penghasil jagung terbesar kedua di Kabupaten Mojokerto. Berdasarkan data dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), kontribusi sektor pertanian terhadap PDB meningkat dari Rp 1.555.207 miliar pada 2015 menjadi Rp 1.900.348 miliar pada 2018. Meskipun luas tanam dan produksi jagung terus mengalami peningkatan, produktivitasnya masih bervariasi, yang menunjukkan perlunya strategi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan efisiensi teknis secara konsisten. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penggunaan faktor produksi jagung, mengukur efisiensi teknis, serta mengidentifikasi faktor sosial yang memengaruhi efisiensi teknis di Desa Mojokarang, Kecamatan Dlanggu, Kabupaten Mojokerto. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah stochastic frontier dan regresi tobit dengan melibatkan 76 petani jagung sebagai sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel luas lahan, benih, dan pupuk berpengaruh signifikan terhadap efisiensi teknis, sedangkan tenaga kerja dan pestisida tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan. Rata-rata efisiensi teknis petani di Desa Mojokarang mencapai 0,8220, yang menunjukkan bahwa petani secara teknis efisien. Faktor sosial, seperti pengalaman bertani dan status kepemilikan lahan, juga terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap efisiensi teknis, sementara faktor umur, pendidikan, dan jumlah anggota keluarga tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan.

Abstract

Rumah tangga nelayan di Kabupaten Gresik merupakan kelompok masyarakat yang rentan terhadap ketahanan pangan akibat pendapatan yang fluktuatif dan keterbatasan akses terhadap pangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengidentifikasi tingkat ketahanan pangan rumah tangga nelayan, (2) menganalisis strategi penanggulangan pangan (Food Coping Strategies) yang digunakan, serta (3) menganalisis hubungan antara strategi tersebut dengan tingkat ketahanan pangan rumah tangga nelayan. Penelitian dilakukan di Kelurahan Lumpur, Kabupaten Gresik, dengan melibatkan 80 rumah tangga nelayan yang dipilih melalui metode purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan US-HFSSM, RCSI, dan uji chi-square.Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 88% rumah tangga nelayan berada dalam kondisi rawan pangan, dengan 50% mengalami kelaparan sedang dan 25% kelaparan berat. Strategi coping yang paling umum digunakan berada pada kategori sedang (51,25%), diikuti oleh kategori rendah (26,25%) dan tinggi (23,75%). Uji chi-square menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat food coping strategies dengan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga (p < 0,05). Semakin tinggi intensitas strategi coping, semakin rendah ketahanan pangan rumah tangga tersebut.Implikasi dari temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya intervensi kebijakan berbasis lokal, seperti penguatan sumber pendapatan alternatif dan edukasi strategi coping yang sehat, guna meningkatkan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga nelayan secara berkelanjutan. Abstract

  Sugar factories operating in Sidoarjo Regency began to decline, this was due to land function experts to machine parts damage. PT. Pabrik Gula Candi Baru Sidoarjo is a sugar-based agroindustry that has remained operational near the center of Sidoarjo Regency. The company's land sugarcane harvest in the procurement of sugarcane raw materials has not met the grinding target. So it needs a fixed partner to meet the grinding target and so that the company continues to operate. The research was conducted to analyze 1) the partnership pattern of PT. Pabrik Gula Candi Baru Sidoarjo with sugar cane farmers partnership (TRK), 2) The motivational level of partnership sugarcane farmers (TRK) maintains cooperative relationships with companies and 3) analyzes farmers' income earned once the planting season. Research was conducted in May–November 2024 in Candi District, Sidoarjo Regency. The population of the study respondents was 363 partnership sugarcane farmers (TRK) through a Slovine calculation and a 15% error rate, a study sample of 40 respondents obtained. Research uses descriptive analysis to determine partnership patterns, motivational levels using the likert scale and cost of farming, receiving, and income of farmers with income analysis. The research results state that the partnership pattern of PT. Pabrik Gula Candi Baru Sidoarjo with sugarcane farmers partnership (TRK) is in the form of a plasma core. As well as the level of motivation for partnership sugarcane farmers (TRK) in partnership with companies is classified as a strong category with an 80% percentage that farmers expect consistent profits. The sugarcane cultivation business of partnership sugarcane farmers (TRK) costs Rp32. 093.349/ha, revenue of Rp52.879.420/ha and revenue of Rp20.786.071/ha. Thus, the conclusion of this study was that partnerships could convince farmers of the potential of the agricultural business and maintain sugarcane farming businesses by providing proper income.

Abstract

This research aims to identify internal and external factors that influence the beef cattle business and determine strategies that can be used to develop the beef cattle business in KT Lembu Makmur. In identifying the value of internal and external environmental factors the author uses the IFE and EFE Matrix. Formulation of alternative strategies for livestock groups using SWOT analysis and determining strategic priorities using QSPM analysis. The results of the IFE analysis show a value of 2.39 and an EFE of 2.59 which results in the Competitive Position Matrix of the livestock business being in the White Area. From these results it can be concluded that KT. Lembu Makmur is in a quite profitable position so that it can carry out the S - O (Strength - Opportunities) strategy. The S - O strategy included in the QSPM matrix produces the highest value of 1.02 with the strategic priority of developing human resources.

Abstract

CV Kopi Citarasa Persada is on of the coffee agro-industries that processes damaged or defective coffee beans into coffee powder. Coffee defect is famous for its low quality, which makes it a new challenge in the coffee industry. Even so, CV Kopi Citarasa Persada continues to process coffee defects while maintaining the quality of taste that can be well received by its consumers. The purpose of this study is to determine the estimated costs, revenue, and income, as well as to determine the financial feasibility of CV Kopi Citarasa Persada on their coffee defect robusta products. The sample was purposively selected from eight informants who were selected based on certain criteria and in accordance with the research objectives. The result of the research that have been carried out in one production process are the total costs incurred for coffee defect robusta amounting to IDR 851.833, with total revenue of IDR 1.000.000, and revenue generated of IDR 148.167. Obtained a BEP production value of 34 pcs and a BEP price of IDR 21.296, the value of the R/C ratio is 1,17 and the value of the B/C ratio is 0,17. So it cann be concluded that the coffee defect robusta business at CV Kopi Citarasa Persada is feasible in terms of revenue, but not feasible in terms of income.

Abstract

Cabai rawit merupakan salah satu komoditas hortikultura bernilai tinggi dan sering mengalami fluktuasi produksi dan harga yang disebabkan oleh berbagai kendala teknis dalam kegiatan usahatani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor produksi dan seberapa besar kinerja teknis produksi usahatani cabai rawit. Tempat penelitian di Desa Gekbrong, Kecamatan Gekbrong, Kabupaten Cianjur, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 petani. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglass Stochastic Frontier 4.1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor produksi yang berpengaruh dalam penelitian ini adalah luas lahan, pupuk dasar, pupuk susulan dan pestisida. Sedangkan faktor produksi yang tidak berpengaruh terhadap produksi ini adalah benih dan tenaga kerja. Penyebab tidak adanya pengaruh pada variabel benih dikarenakan penggunaan varietas benih yang seragam, sehingga tidak terjadi perbedaan varietas benih antar petani. Sedangkan variabel tenaga kerja adalah tingkat efisiensi teknis petani cabai rawit telah mengelola input secara efisien. Tingkat efisiensi teknis dalam penelitian ini dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik sosial ekonomi petani yaitu tingkat usia pendidikan

Abstract

Abstract The Community Service Program (KKN) in Lembengan Village, Jember Regency, focuses on cultivating catfish as a strategic step to increase food security and reduce stunting rates in the community. The choice of this topic was based on the high prevalence of stunting and nutritional problems in the village. The methods used include collaboration between KKN students, village officials, the Village Children's Forum (FAD), and the Jember District Fisheries Service. Core activities include distributing catfish seeds, raising awareness about cultivation, and education about the benefits of consuming catfish for pregnant women and children. The results of the activity showed a positive response from the community and village officials, with indications of increased awareness of the importance of nutrition and the economic potential of catfish cultivation. This program also produces a Follow-up Plan (RTL) which will be continued by the Village Children's Forum to ensure the sustainability of catfish cultivation in Lembengan Village. In conclusion, this initiative has great potential to improve community welfare and provide a positive long-term impact. Abstract

Poncokusumo District is the bean producing center in Malang Regency. The research conducted in the area was aimed to determine the marketing channel and institutional functions of the bean trading system in the conventional market, supermarket, and export market. Other research objectives are to examine the difference in the efficiency level of the bean trading system between the conventional market, supermarket, and export market and determine the factors influencing the level of profit of the bean trading actors in the conventional market, supermarkets, and export markets. The research employed survey method, which the sample of farmers was taken using simple random sampling. The sample size of conventional market, supermarkets, and export markets, subsequently as many as 30, 15, and 5 people. The approaching method was the snowball sampling technique. The data collected were analyzed including the analysis of trading margin, farmer's share, mark up, technical efficiency index and economic efficiency index. The result showed that the largest farmer's share in conventional market channels was 57.18%; while the conventional market channel was more efficient than other channels with a technical efficiency index of 3.87 and an economic efficiency index of 1.83. Factors affecting the level of profit of traders in conventional market channels were sales volume, selling price and working capital; while in the supermarket channel were the selling price and working capital. Kecamatan Poncokusumo merupakan salah satu kecamatan di Kabupaten Malang yang merupakan kawasan sentra produksi buncis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Pola saluran dan fungsi kelembagaan tataniaga buncis pada pasar konvensional, pasar swalayan dan pasar ekspor, (2) Perbedaan tingkat efisiensi tataniaga buncis antara pasar konvensional, pasar swalayan dan pasar ekspor dan (3) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat keuntungan para pelaku tataniaga buncis pada pasar konvensional, pasar swalayan dan pasar ekspor. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey pada sentra produksi buncis di Kecamatan Poncokusumo Kabupaten Malang Jawa Timur.  Sampel petani diambil dengan menggunakan simple random sampling dan didapatkan ukuran sampel petani pasar konvensional sebanyak 30 orang, pasar swalayan 15 orang dan pasar ekspor 5 orang. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan teknik snowball sampling dalam menentukan sampel pelaku tataniaga. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis meliputi analisis marjin tataniaga, farmer’s share, mark up, indeks efisiensi teknis dan indeks efisiensi ekonomis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa farmer’s share paling besar pada saluran pasar konvensional yaitu sebesar 57,18%; Saluran pasar konvensional lebih efisien dibandingkan dengan saluran lainnya dengan indeks efisiensi teknis sebesar 3,87 dan indeks efisiensi ekonomis sebesar 1,83.  Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat keuntungan pelaku tataniaga pada saluran pasar konvensional adalah volume penjualan, harga jual dan modal kerja; sedangkan pada saluran pasar swalayan adalah harga jual dan modal kerja.

Abstract

Losari Village has quite good and prospective tourism potential if it is managed properly, one of which is by using rainwater as its main source of irrigation, the average farmer changes the type of crop he grows on arid and barren hills to corn. Losari hamlet is a remote hamlet, although it is far from other villages, it is likely to develop into a more sophisticated hamlet than the others. If it is managed properly and effectively, the tourism potential of the hamlet is represented by Sendang Sari, or Mata Air, Punden Losari, Sendang's position Sari is surrounded by many large plants and makes it difficult for the area around Sendang Sari to be exposed to sunlight, so modifications are made including religious tourism in the form of Sendang Sari and Punden Losari. To overcome this problem, therefore village officials planted sunflowers to increase tourist attraction so that they were interested in taking pictures with sunflowers or even just seeing and enjoying the beauty of sunflowers. Through this community service activity in the form of creative and innovative activities, sunflower aims to increase the potential for tourist attraction. The result of the sunflower planting activity at Punden Losari is that it can add to the aesthetic value of the existing cultural tourist attraction, which has been planted with 700 sunflower seeds by adding aesthetic value to Punden Losari and benefiting wild birds in Losari Punden as well. The service team in this innovative activity has played an active role and participated in increasing community synergy so that beautiful natural tourism can be created

Abstract

In the agricultural sector, there was a decrease in the number of young workers, it was noted that in 2018 agricultural workers were dominated by workers aged 40 years and over by 55%. This is due to the lack of willingness of the younger generation to continue agricultural work as is done by their parents, as well as the unwillingness of parents for their children to do farming activities. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence the desire of the millennial generation to continue farming activities. The research was conducted in Mejayan Subdistrict by means of multiple stage cluster sampling areas selected Darmorejo village as the criteria for basic agricultural villages, Kaliabu as an industrial village, Mejayan village as a city village. The data analysis used in this research is binary logistic regression with independent variables including gender, motivation, experience, inheritance in the form of land, education, views on agriculture, income, land, community environment. The results showed that the variables that had a positive influence were motivation, inheritance in the form of land, the community environment, while those that had a negative effect were gender and views on agriculture.
