Abstract

This study aims to explore the structure and uniqueness of Earth through the lens of local wisdom that respects nature, and to investigate how traditional knowledge can offer valuable insights into our planet and the relationship between humans and the environment. A qualitative approach was employed, involving a literature review and analysis of traditional texts, myths, folktales, and cultural practices related to the understanding of the universe, Earth's structure, and human interaction with ecosystems. The findings reveal that many indigenous cultures around the world view Earth as a living entity, with an interconnected relationship between humans and the surrounding environment. This understanding is reflected in various rituals, agricultural systems, and environmental policies that emphasize balance and sustainability. Furthermore, local wisdom often stresses the importance of respecting nature as an integral part of harmonious living on Earth. The implications of this research highlight the importance of integrating local wisdom into environmental education, sustainable development policies, and natural resource management to foster a more harmonious and sustainable relationship between humans and the Earth.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Susu formula sering diberikan kepada bayi sebagai pendamping atau pengganti ASI. Tingkat konsumsi susu formula pada bayi bisa bervariasi, sehingga mungkin ditemui susu formula yang tidak habis diminum dalam waktu beberapa jam. Proses penyajian susu formula di masyarakat juga beragam, dilakukan dengan air mendidih atau air hangat, tergantung pada kondisi di masyarakat. Perbedaan temperatur dan lama penyajian diduga akan mempengaruhi kualitas susu, yang ditandai dengan rasa asam. Oleh karena itu perlu diteliti pengaruh temperatur dan lama penyajian terhadap pH susu formula bayi 6-12 bulan. Tujuan: Menganalisis pengaruh temperatur dan lama penyajian terhadap pH susu formula ( 6-12 bulan ). Metode: Metode penelitian menggunakan Jenis penelitian True Experiment atau bersifat eksperimen nyata, dengan memvariasikan temperatur air pencampur susu formula 40, 50, 60, 70, dan 80°C. Serta memvariasikan lama penyajian dari 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 jam, kemudian mengukur pH susu formula dari setiap variabel. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik Anova. Hasil: didapatkan bahwa ada 2 jenis pH yang terjadi pada campuran awal susu formula, dimana pada temperatur 60-80°C, mempunyai kondisi awal basa, dan temperatur 40-50°C dalam kondisi asam. Kedua kondisi tempertur ini mempunyai trend yang berbeda. pH terendah terjadi pada campuran yang didiamkan selama 4 jamKesimpulan: Temperatur air pencampur memberikan efek yang signifikan terhadap pH campuran susu formula 6-12 bulan, dimana P-value bernilai 0,030469 < 0,05. Lama penyajian memberikan efek yang signifikan terhadap pH campuran susu formula 6-12 bulan, dimana P-value bernilai 6,98x10-6 < 0,05. Perbedaan temperatur air pencampur mengakibatkan perbedaan pH awal campuran susu formula 6-12 bulan. Campuran susu formula dengan temperatur lebih tinggi, menghasilkan pH yag lebih tinggi.

Abstract

Good nutritional intake is very important to support the growth and development of school-aged children. However, consumption of vegetables and fruit among school-aged children is very low. Therefore, educational media is needed to influence knowledge, attitudes and behavior in consuming vegetables and fruit. This research aimed to determine the effect of nutrition education using video on knowledge, attitudes and consumption of vegetables and fruit. This research was an experimental research with a quasi experimental design with pre test - post test with a sample of 62 grade 4 students at Pasirkaliki 156 Elementary School Bandung. Analysis of mean differences before and after intervention used Wilcoxon Test (data is not normally distributed). Mann Whitney test was used to see the difference between control and treatment groups (P<0.05 and CI 95%). There was a significant difference in students' knowledge scores between before and after being given nutrition education in the two groups. In this study, there was an increase in the average knowledge score of 2.94 points in the treatment group and 2.35 points in the control group. Attitude score average was increase 3.29 points in treatment group and 3.29 points in control group. However, changes in the average consumption of vegetables and fruit in the treatment group were lower than the control group. The research showed that animated video and power point media can be used to increase elementary school students' knowledge regarding vegetable and fruit consumption.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Masalah gizi yang sering terjadi di kalangan remaja yaitu overweight dan obesitas. Masalah ini terjadi karena adanya ketidakseimbangan antara energi yang masuk dengan energi yang dikeluarkan dan kurangnya aktivitas fisik sehingga menimbulkan penambahan berat badan. Lompat tali merupakan aktivitas fisik yang dapat menurunkan berat badan dengan cara membakar lemak dalam intensitas latihan rendah dan jangka waktu lama. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan tradisional lompat tali terhadap penurunan berat badan pada remaja putri overweight dan obesitas. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experiment dengan rancangan one group pretest posttest. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Oktober 2018 – Mei 2019 di Asrama SMP Stella Duce 2 Yogyakarta. Responden penelitian berjumlah 12 remaja putri yang memenuhi kriteria. Pemilihan responden dilakukan secara purposive sampling. Pemberian intervensi permainan tradisional lompat tali dilakukan selama 8 minggu. Pengukuran berat badan diambil sebelum dan setelah intervensi menggunakan timbangan digital. Data dianalisis menggunakan Paired T-test. Hasil: Rerata berat badan pre dan post intervensi adalah 60,12 ± 9,98 kg dan 60,26 ± 10,02 kg secara berurutan. Perubahan berat badan selama intervensi sebesar 0,14 ± 1,17 kg. Tidak ada pengaruh permainan tradisional lompat tali terhadap penurunan berat badan (p= 0,685). Kesimpulan: Tidak ada pengaruh permainan tradisional lompat tali terhadap penurunan berat badan pada remaja putri overweight dan obesitas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengetahuan etnomatematika terhadap kemampuan problem solving mahasiswa berbasis kearifan lokal, yaitu situs makam Sapuro di Pekalongan, Jawa Tengah. Penelitian kuantitatif digunakan dengan menggunakan lembar tes dan observasi. Variabel terikat yang digunakan adalah kemampuan problem solving mahasiswa pada sistem persamaan linier dua variabel. Penelitian ini menggunakan 26 sampel yang dikategorikan menjadi 3 kelompok. Metode analysis of variance (ANOVA) satu arah digunakan untuk mendapatkan hasil yang diharapkan. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai statistik Fhitung = 1,02 < Ftabel = 3,38. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada pengaruh pengetahuan siswa dalam bidang etnomatematika terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah.

Abstract

Belum banyaknya dilakukan penelitian meta-analisis mengenai pengaruh model Discovery Learning dan Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis peserta didik kelas V SD pada muatan pelajaran Matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis beberapa artikel Penelitian ini menggunakan metode meta-analisis dengan mengkaji sepuluh artikel jurnal penelitian lain yang berkaitan dengan pengaruh model Problem Based Learning dan model Discovery Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis peserta didik. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah artikel pada jurnal pendidikan yang sudah dipublikasikan secara nasional sesuai dengan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar data pengkodean artikel. Penelitian meta-analisis dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data dengan cara pemberian kode terhadap sepuluh artikel jurnal untuk mencari besar pengaruh (effect size). Berdasarkan lembar data pengkodean artikel, model pembelajaran secara keseluruhan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dengan nilai besar pengaruh effect size 1,65 yang termasuk dalam kategori efek besar. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran memberikan pengaruh yang lebih efektif dan perlu diterapkan dalam pembelajaran matematika. Model yang paling efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yaitu model Discovery Learning.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and evaluate learning media based on traditional engklek games in improving the understanding of the concept of flat building in grade II students of SD/MI. The background of the research is based on the low interest and understanding of students in basic geometry materials and the lack of contextual and fun learning media innovations. The research approach used is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the ankle media was effective in improving students' understanding of flat shapes such as squares, triangles, and circles, with an increase in the average student score from 66.2 to 83.5. In addition, the use of this media also increases students' enthusiasm, active participation, and collaboration and socialization skills during the learning process. These findings are in line with constructivist and sociocultural theories that emphasize the importance of active and contextual learning. Engklek learning media not only enriches a meaningful mathematics learning experience, but also contributes to the preservation of local culture. This study recommends the use of traditional games as an innovative strategy in mathematics learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

mathematical instruction often lacks relevance to students’ real-life contexts, necessitating more meaningful and contextualized approaches. This study aims to integrate geometric concepts and ethnomathematics through the utilization of ketupat a traditional Indonesian cultural artifact as a culturally grounded instructional medium. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, using literature review and contextual observation of the geometric structure of ketupat. The findings reveal that ketupat encompasses geometric elements such as symmetry, three-dimensional forms, woven patterns, and calculations of volume and surface area. Moreover, ketupat holds significant symbolic meaning within Indonesian culture, making it a relevant bridge between mathematical concepts and local values. The study concludes that using ketupat as a contextual medium enhances students’ conceptual understanding of geometry and strengthens the integration of cultural values within mathematics education.

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media based on the Wordwall application in mathematics learning for grade 3 at MI Salafiyah 1 Kauman. The background of this study is the low interest and motivation of students in participating in mathematics learning, which is caused by less interesting learning methods and the lack of use of interactive media. By utilizing the Wordwall application, it is expected to increase student involvement through fun educational games. The method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The development process begins with needs analysis, learning media design, media development using the Wordwall application, media implementation in learning, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the media developed. The results of the study showed that the Wordwall-based learning media developed had high validity with an average score of 90% from material and media experts. The practicality of the media was also obtained with an average score of 85% from teachers and students. The trial of media implementation in mathematics learning showed an increase in student motivation and learning outcomes. So, students will be more active in participating in learning and show a better understanding of the material being taught. Thus, Wordwall-based learning media has proven effective in increasing the motivation and learning outcomes of grade 3 students at MI Salafiyah 1 Kauman.

Abstract

The pandemic of COVID-19 had a profound impact on the lives of families worldwide, including Muslim families in Indonesia. This study analyzes the resilience of multidimensional Muslim families in Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic. It has also been linked to family resilience in preventing divorce, which has reportedly increased during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative approach. Observation techniques and in-depth interviews are conducted to obtain primary data. There are 25 interviewees. The findings indicate that three dimensions, namely the individual, family, and community dimensions, influence the resilience of multidimensional Muslim families during the COVID-19 pandemic. There is a positive causality relationship between the three interconnected dimensions. The findings suggest that all three can be used to prevent divorce by increasing resilience in these three dimensions. The analysis also reveals a spike in domestic violence, which is the cause of divorce during the COVID-19 pandemic. Domestic violence affects not only wives but also husbands.
