Abstract

This Community Partnership Program (PKM) addresses the main challenges faced by weavers in the Subi Group in Limboro Village, Donggala Regency. The main problems identified are limited production capacity due to outdated equipment, a lack of standardized knowledge in natural dyeing techniques, and limited capital. The solutions implemented include modernizing the looms, providing comprehensive training in the extraction and application of natural dyes based on leaves (such as jembolan, guava, mango, and teak) with precise digital measurements, and introducing electric yarn winding machines, as well as providing capital assistance for raw materials. As a result, production efficiency has increased significantly, with weaving time reduced from 30 to 40 days to just 20 days per piece of fabric. The use of natural fixatives (alum, lime, and tunjung) ensures more stable, high-quality, and environmentally friendly colors. This program has successfully improved the technical capacity of artisans and preserved local culture. Cultural heritage, empowered the community economy, and created a foundation for the development of products with Geographical Indication potential.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi zaman sekarang sangat pesat.

Abstract

Through the Kosabangsa Program, this community service activity aims to introduce and implement Rompong based on Solar Panel and Submersible Lamp (Lacuda) technology to coastal fishermen in Meli Village, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. The main objective is to increase the income of coastal fishermen in Meli Village. The activity was attended by 20 participants and carried out through socialization, technical training, tool assembly practice, and direct trials. The results of the activity are technical guides for the use of Solar panels and Lacuda, which contain information on components, assembly, operation, and technical troubleshooting. Evaluation of the technical guide was carried out by calculating and comparing the catch of coastal fishermen in Meli Village before using Rompong based on Solar panel and Lacuda technology. This activity succeeded in transferring appropriate technology in a participatory and contextual manner, and opened up opportunities for further development in the coastal areas around Meli Village.

Abstract

Limited forage availability due to land conversion has become a major constraint in goat farming development. Therefore, the utilization of agricultural waste as alternative feed is increasingly important, including young coconut husk waste which is abundant but underutilized. However, its high lignocellulosic content, particularly lignin, limits digestibility and nutritional value for ruminants. This study aimed to evaluate the ability of several white-rot fungi to reduce lignin content and improve the cellulose characteristics of young coconut husk waste as a potential alternative feed ingredient. The research was conducted in two stages: fungal selection and optimization of fermentation conditions. The first stage used five fungal treatments, namely Trichoderma sp. TR3, Pleurotus sajor-caju, Pleurotus ostreatus, Trametes versicolor, and Lentinus edodes. Parameters observed included lignin and cellulose contents after 20 days of incubation. The second stage evaluated the effect of incubation period (20, 30, and 40 days) and inoculum volume (0.5, 0.7, and 1.0 mL) using Pleurotus sajor-caju as the selected fungus. The results showed that Pleurotus sajor-caju produced the lowest lignin content (17.93%) and the highest cellulose content (48.80%) compared with other fungi. In the optimization stage, the lowest lignin content was observed in treatment A3B1 (40 days incubation and 0.5 mL inoculum) at 15.47%, while the highest cellulose content was obtained in treatment A2B1 (30 days incubation and 0.5 mL inoculum) at 61.15%. These findings indicate that Pleurotus sajor-caju has strong potential for selective delignification of young coconut husk waste while maintaining cellulose content. Biological fermentation using white-rot fungi can therefore be considered a promising and environmentally friendly approach for improving the quality of lignocellulosic waste as ruminant feed

Abstract

Mangrove forest rehabilitation is essential to mitigate the impact of abrasion and mangrove ecosystem degradation. Mangrove planting activities with the community of Uwedikan Village, Luwuk Timur Subdistrict, Banggai Regency, were carried out as part of the Kosabangsa Program to support the development of the area’s potential as a Tourism Village. The aim of mangrove planting activities on Togong Island is to prevent coastal abrasion disasters on Togong Island. This community service program was conducted collaboratively between the Muhammadiyah University of Palu and the Uwedikan Village community, involving two groups: the Culinary Pokdarwis Nyiur Melambai Group (CPNMG) and the Teluk Balean Fishermen Group (TBFG), each consisting of 20 members. The activities included socialization, technical training, planting practice at target locations (Togong Island and Balean Island), and monitoring and evaluation The result of activity showed that performance of the training technical planting was classified as moderate (score 43,93) for CPNMG and score for TBFG is 29,38. A total of 750 mangrove seedlings consisting of Rhizophora mucronata, Rhizophora apiculata, and Avicennia marina were obtained from the Watershed Management Center (BPDAS) of Palu-Poso. The planting of seedlings was carried out from October 2024 in coastal areas affected by abrasion (covering 75 m x 10 m), with a planting distance of 1 x 1 m.

Abstract

Household financial vulnerability remains a persistent challenge in contemporary Muslim societies, often resulting from limited financial literacy and marginal integration of Islamic legal and ethical frameworks into family economic practices. This study aims to examine how the integration of hadith ethics and Islamic law can strengthen household financial literacy and resilience in the context of Muslim families. Using qualitative methods, this research analyzes classical hadith sources and contemporary studies are analyzed using the theory of maqāṣid al-sharī'ah. Data was collected by means of document studies with reference to hadith books and in-depth interviews with academics, hadith experts and Islamic law. The findings indicate that hadith ethics and Islamic legal norms such as moderation (i’tidāl), financial responsibility (amanah), avoidance of excessive debt, and halal wealth management (halal income) constitute a comprehensive moral-legal framework that not only regulates financial behavior but also enhances household resilience through values-based financial socialization, ethical consumption, and long-term economic planning. These principles foster financial discipline, reduce vulnerability to economic shocks, and promote sustainable family well-being beyond merely technical financial skills. In conclusion, within the context of the maqāṣid al-sharī’ah, the ethics of hadith on household financial literacy offers a culturally and normatively grounded model for strengthening family resilience in Muslim societies. This framework contributes to interdisciplinary discourse by bridging Islamic studies, family science, and socio-economic resilience research.
