Abstract

This study examines the influence of information credibility on destination loyalty through the mediating role of memorable tourism experience among tourists visiting Samosir Regency, North Sumatra, Indonesia. Specifically, it investigates how the perceived credibility of tourism information contributes to the formation of memorable tourism experiences and subsequently strengthens tourists' loyalty to the destination. The study population comprised 2,451,269 tourists who visited Samosir Regency in 2025, from which a sample of 318 respondents was selected using accidental sampling. Respondents were recruited directly at the research sites based on their willingness to participate and their fulfillment of two eligibility criteria: having visited Samosir Regency at least three times and having previously obtained destination-related information through digital media. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to assess the measurement and structural models, direct relationships, and mediation effects. This study proposes a conceptual mechanism in which memorable tourism experience mediates the relationship between information credibility and destination loyalty. By integrating these three constructs, the study advances the understanding of how credible tourism information can be translated into memorable experiences and sustained destination loyalty. The findings are expected to provide theoretical and managerial implications for destination managers in developing credible tourism communication strategies that align with tourists' actual experiences and foster long-term destination loyalty

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the role played by regional ethical codes in Islamic banking's development, adoption and the integration of this financial system at the international level. A comprehensive review of the last 6 years' research in the field is given, covering 86 academic papers from 2020 to 2025. The PRISMA methodology is applied in order to identify, appraise and merge the findings from the studies in areas like ethical and cultural values, Shariah compliance, governance, and socio-economic goals. In fact, research shows that regional ethical frameworks are crucial in ensuring that Islamic financial services are truly ethical and in addition are a key factor in differentiating Islamic financial services from conventional ones within the global marketplace. In the integration of Islamic finance with global norms there are a number of challenges, including the integration of Islamic finance with community-based ethics, the need to harmonise Islamic law with transnational financial dealings and the impact of technological advancements such as the development of financial services companies (fintech). The key theme in this study is the integration of Islamic financial practices with the values of their community, the strategies employed by financial institutions to reconcile local Shariah law with international finance systems, and the role of ethical governance in establishing trust and promoting economic growth. In light of these implications, it is essential that regulatory agencies, industry leaders and government officials work towards ensuring international business practices align with local standards of ethics. Further research is required in such areas as the implications of sustainable finance for conventional financial structures, digitalisation and its impact on the role of the business community and the finance industry, and in cross border issues of ethics

Abstract

This study aims to analyze a model of post-disaster resilience and sustainability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) based on adaptive capability, risk management, and digital transformation in Langkat Regency. This study employed a quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The research variables consisted of adaptive capability, risk management, digital transformation, MSME resilience, and MSME sustainability. The results showed that adaptive capability, risk management, and digital transformation had positive and significant effects on MSME resilience, with path coefficients of 0.310, 0.280, and 0.340, respectively. MSME resilience also had a positive and significant effect on MSME sustainability, with a path coefficient of 0.390. Furthermore, all three independent variables had direct and significant effects on MSME sustainability. The mediation analysis indicated that MSME resilience partially mediated the relationships between adaptive capability, risk management, digital transformation, and MSME sustainability. The R² value of 0.624 indicates that the model explains 62.4% of the variance in MSME resilience, while the R² value of 0.687 indicates that 68.7% of the variance in MSME sustainability is explained by the model. These findings confirm that strengthening adaptive capability, risk management, and digital transformation through enhanced resilience is important for supporting the sustainability of post-disaster MSMEs in Langkat Regency.

Abstract

In the sustainable hospitality sector, the performance of hotel employees is crucial for the organization to achieve its goals. The ability to function at its best leads to fewer mistakes, which in turn makes the company more efficient, effective, and competitive in the industry. This study aims to enhance employee performance, particularly among millennials, by implementing a work-harmonization mediation strategy within the sustainable hotel industry. This study had 205 participants who were staff of nine four-star hotels in Medan City. The research methodology used to analyze the direct and indirect links between emotional burden, job autonomy, and employee performance shows that work-harmonization devotion significantly mediates the impact of emotional burden on employee performance. Moreover, work-harmonization devotion serves as a key mediator in the relationship between work autonomy and employee performance. These findings suggest that millennial employees exhibit a strong commitment to achieving favourable performance outcomes as seen by their superiors. This study enhances the domains of digital and social entrepreneurship within sustainable hospitality by emphasizing the significance of work harmonization as a crucial element in improving employee performance in an increasingly competitive industry. More research is necessary to investigate additional factors, such as transformational leadership, organizational culture, and psychological well-being. These factors can enhance the understanding of how work harmony influences employee performance and broaden research within the hospitality sector across various hotel types and locations.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to look into how work motivation, the work environment, and training affect how well employees do their jobs at PT Medcomm Solution. In service organizations, human resources are regarded as a strategic element affecting performance, with other internal organizational factors contributing. This study utilized a quantitative methodology with a causal associative research design. The sample encompassed all 66 employees, employing a census sampling methodology. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings suggest that job motivation and training positively and significantly influence employee performance, however the work environment does not. These three independent factors have a substantial effect on employee performance at the same time, as shown by the F-value of 20.085 and the significance level of 0.000 (<0.05). The coefficient of determination value of 51.8% shows that the variables of work motivation, work environment, and training can explain differences in employee performance. The other 48.2% is due to factors not included in this research model, such as rewards, pay, work discipline, organizational culture, job satisfaction, work stress, and individual employee characteristics.

Abstract

The phenomenon that occurs in various companies shows that there are still many employees who experience decreased work enthusiasm, low productivity, and lack of satisfaction with the work environment. This study aims to further analyze the influence of leadership style, work motivation, and work environment on employee performance. The study used a quantitative method carried out at PT Jasindo Testing Service with a sampling method using the slovin technique with an error rate of 5%, resulting in 110 respondents from a total population of 151 people. Based on the results of the study that has been conducted, it can be concluded that Leadership Style (X1), Motivation (X2), and Work Environment (X3) have a significant influence on Employee Performance (Y) at PT Jasindo Testing & Inspection Services. This is evidenced by the significance value of 0.000 <0.05, and the Fcount value (244.975) > Ftable (2.69), which shows that the three independent variables simultaneously affect the dependent variable. In addition, the R-square value of 0.874 indicates that 87.4% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by leadership style, motivation, and work environment, while 12.6% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Thus, the better the leadership style, motivation, and work environment, the higher the employee performance.
