Abstract

Distributed Generation (DG) is a small capacity generator located in the electricity distribution system and is usually placed on buses that are connected directly to the load. Placement of distributed generation is one of the technical efforts to reduce voltage drop and power losses in the system. In addition, load flow analysis is a study to plan and determine the amount of power in an electric power system. The results of power losses after adding distributed generation were the best in the fifth experiment on bus 149, where the system experienced a total loss of active power (P) previously of 720,822 kW, to 682,939 kW and total loss of reactive power (Q) previously of 530.02 kVar, to 405.835 kVar. From the results of the calculation of the power flow using ETAP software (Electrical Transient Analyzer Program). So, it can be concluded that the electrical network system can be said to be good. The results obtained are the more DG (wind turbine generator) that is input into the bus it will reduce the voltage drop that occurs. After simulating the overall voltage drop, it still meets the standards according to the results of the Text Report on ETAP.

Abstract

In a three-phase system, the difference in the angle between the phases and the phase sequence of the system is very important to ensure the system functions normally and does not cause damage to the three-phase equipment connected to the system. Trigonometric formulas in multiphase systems are used to obtain the angle difference between the phases and the sequence of phases in the system. The trigonometric formula was tested in a simulation using MATLAB software, then applied to an Arduino Mega-based system. In the simulation, the data are two voltages vs. time with a certain phase angle difference, then using the trigonometric formula in the MATLAB program, the data is recovered from the phase angle difference and the direction of rotation of the two voltages. Based on the valid MATLAB simulation test results, the program algorithm is embedded in an Arduino Mega-based system equipped with 2 voltage sensors and a 2.4-inch TFT LCD. The Arduino Mega-based system has succeeded in detecting and visualizing in the form of a graph the angle difference between the phases and the direction of rotation of the three-phase system.

Abstract

Koi fish is a type of freshwater ornamental fish that has high economic value. Koi fish have attractive body colors and ideal body shapes so they have good sales prospects. However, koi fish farming has several obstacles, one of which is the low recovery rate and the relatively slow growth of fish. Water quality is the main parameter in the success of a fishing effort. Therefore, this study designed a tool that can help koi fish farmers in unifying the quality of pond water so that koi fish can grow and develop properly. This monitoring system is designed by implementing an automatic control monitoring system to produce good water quality for koi fish farming. Data obtained from water quality monitoring are parameters of pH, ammonia, and water temperature. The results of this cultivator's research can monitor the quality of fish pond water and immediately get water quality control automatically.

Abstract

Fully controlled rectifier and Battery Charge Regulator (BCR). BCR is the main unit of UPS ( Uninterruptable Power Supply ) equipment. The fully controlled rectifier has the function of supplying voltage directly to the BCR, and the BCR has the function of regulating the battery charge. Forced charging the battery at a constant voltage with a current that matches the life of the battery will have an impact on decreasing battery life, besides that it will have an impact on the efficiency of using the battery. Controlling the input voltage of the charging battery as a function of the battery voltage is regulated by the magnitude of the charging current flow. Charging the battery via BCR is adjusted to the battery voltage so that BCR can control it by adjusting the voltage to 13.5 V for High Voltage Disconnected (HVD) and 10.5 V for Low Voltage Disconnected (LVD). Based on the test results of the performance of the full control rectifier system and BCR on a 12 V battery with a capacity of 5 Ah, it shows that the output voltage is A fully controlled 12 V rectifier, the BCR can charge an empty internal battery in a few minutes with a current varying from 2 .1 A to 0.1 A.

Abstract

System condition at PT. PLN (Persero) Tualang Cut Substation where the reliability of the 150 kV system depends on the Langsa Substation, which we will reconfigure on the Lgs-P.B and Lgs-T.C channels to P.B-T. C and T.C-Lgs. The planning for the reconfiguration of the 150 kv transmission network of the Tualang Cut Substation was carried out by estimating the distance of the transmission line and the constraints that occurred. The condition of the electric power system that is currently operating at PT. PLN (Persero) Tualang Cut Substation is considered less efficient in receiving power from the 150 kV SUTT interconnection. The SUTT in Tualang Cut currently receives electrical power from the Langsa Substation with a Losses value on lines 1 and 2 of 771,4142474 kW and experiences a Voltage Drop on lines 1 and 2 of 4,38 kV. After we reconfigured the channel, from the results of the reconfiguration there was a decrease in Losses on channels 1 and 2 by 311,298581 kW which before the reconfiguration of power losses on the line amounted to 771,4142474 kW and after being reconfigured to 460,1156668 kW there was a decrease in Voltage Drop on channels 1 and 2 by 1,44 kV, before the reconfiguration of the voltage drop on the line of 4,38 kV and after the reconfiguration to 2,94 kV, the reconfiguration carried out is the best solution to reduce losses and voltage drops.

Abstract

This study discusses the Midi Drum Controller using the Arduino Mega which has many analog pins making it suitable for producing complete drum pads as well as piezoelectricity which is used to detect vibrations when the drum pad is beaten, as well as the Tcrt5000 sensor which is used to control the hi-hat so that it can move. from the sound of an open hi-hat to a closed hi-hat. The results of this study indicate that piezoelectricity can detect vibrations and dynamics of strong and weak drum beats and send the game to midi-based virtual drum applications. The Tcrt5000 sensor used can also work well, judging by the sound it produces and the data sent when the Tcrt5000 sensor is on and off.

Abstract

Accurate scheduling of capacity and operating time for electricity generation is intended to be able to determine the start and end periods of electricity generation operations and produce power output that can meet load requirements. In this research, the goal to be achieved is to know the existence of power plants when to start operating and when to stop operations and to minimize operational costs by dividing the value of the power that will be generated at each power plant. Genetic algorithms are applied to thermal power plant data patterns to design a scheduling plan. The process involves combining the six power generating units to be tested into three different samples. It was found that the total power load and total cost for Sample 1 was 78,109 MW and IDR 200,285, 66.26, Sample 2 was 74,497 MW and IDR 149,774,156.41, and Sample 3 was 78,681 MW and IDR 156,297,893, respectively. 08. This shows that the cost of sample 1 compared to sample 2 decreased by 25.22%, then in sample 2 when compared to sample 3 it increased by 4.17%. The data also shows that a higher number of generations results in lower costs. Therefore, genetic algorithms produce better solutions from one generation to the next.

Abstract

Pada umumnya Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) merupakan sekolah lanjutan yang lebih banyak menggunakan peralatan-peralatan laboratorium dengan mesin tenaga listrik dan bahan-bahan kimia, terutama di Kota Lhokseumawe dan Aceh Utara. Program pembelajaran yang menggunakan laboratorium yang menggunakan peralatan dan bahan-bahan kimia mudah terbakar yang kegiatannya berisiko tinggi terhadap bencana kebakaran. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang betapa pentingnya pengetahuan siswa tentang penanganan dini kebakaran. Metode yang dilakukan dalam pelaksanaan sosialisasi adalah metode presentasi dilanjutkan dengan tanya jawab. Materi yang akan disampaikan tentang pemahaman penanganan dini bila terjadi kebakaran berupa pengenalan jenis-jenis alat pemadam api ringan (APAR), cara penggunaan alat pemadam api ringan (APAR) dan sikap atau tindakan ketika terjadi kebakaran. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pemahaman peserta yang awalnya hanya ada 50,6 menjadi 89,4 dengan kategori siap dan sangat siap setelah diberikan sosialisasi tentang penanganan dini kebakaran. Dengan adanya sosialisasi ini, dapat meningkatkan pemahaman tentang penanganan dini kebakaran sehingga terciptanya kesiagapan diri dalam menghadapi bencana kebakaran.

Abstract

Pembuatan karya tulis ilmiah merupakan salah satu bentuk dari pengembangan profesi guru. Disamping itu, pembuatan karya ilmiah yang dipublikasikan juga merupakan salah satu syarat bagi guru untuk mengajukan kenaikan jabatan/pangkat. Guru-guru di daerah Kabupaten Aceh Singkil banyak yang mengalami kendala dalam pembuatan karya ilmiah untuk memenuhi persyaratan tersebut. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa pelatihan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah bagi guru-guru di Kabupaten Aceh Singkil dengan tujuan (1) meningkatkan motivasi guru dalam menulis karya tulis ilmiah yang baik dan berkualitas, (2) memberikan pemahaman kepada guru tentang metode penulisan karya tulis ilmiah yang baik dan berkualitas, dan (3) menghasilkan naskah/artikel oleh guru yang layak untuk dipublikasikan. Kegiatan pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 40 guru. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan praktik Kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan, ketrampilan, dan motivasi para guru untuk menulis artikel jurnal hasil penelitian. Setelah pelaksanaan pelatihan ini akan terus dilakukan pendampingan secara daring sebagai evaluasi kenerhasilan dari kegiatan pelatihan penulisan karya ilmiah ini. Hasil akhir dari pengabdian ini akan memberikan pengetahuan dan wawasan baru untuk pengajar (guru) dan akan di publikasikan secara nasional agar menjadi informasi bagi para pembuat kebijakan khususnya di bidang pendidikan.

Abstract

Pantai Bantayan merupakan salah satu pantai di kawasan Aceh Utara. Tim Modul Nusantara Universitas Malikussaleh melaksanakan kegiatan sosialisasi Pemberdayaan kaum ibu-bu sebagai penghasilan tambahan dari hasil panen nelayan dengan bimbingan dosen Modul Nusantara. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sasaran utama yang peneliti pilih adalah kaum perempuan yang terdiri dari ibu-ibu. Peneliti menyampaikan strategi pemasaran usaha mikro kecil dan menengah produk hasil tangkapan nelayan mulai dari inovasi produk olahan hasil tangkapan nelayan, pengemasan produk agar lebih menarik hingga pemasaran melalui media offline maupun online. Selama sosialisasi, peserta sangat antusias terhadap pembahasan yang disampaikan peneliti, namun setelah pemaparan selesai ada beberapa yang menyampaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi pada nelayan di Desa Bantayan meliputi: 1) tidak mendapatkan hasil tangkapan yang bagus, karena hasil tangkapan yang bagus akan diberikan pada tengkulak, mereka bahkan harus membeli hasil tangkapannya pada tengkulak jika ingin mendapatkan tangkapan yang bagus. Hal tersebut membuat masyarakat menjadi tidak leluasa untuk mengolah hasil tangkapannya sendiri karena tidak memiliki hasil tangkapan yang dapat langsung diolah sendiri. 2) Lokasi masyarakat Desa Bantayan dengan pusat perbelanjaan yang cukup jauh sehingga menghambat proses pemasaran yang akan dilakukan oleh masyarakat, selain itu lokasi yang jauh akan menambah biaya transportasi yang akan dikeluarkan.3) Dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi nelayan memiliki hambatan yaitu, rendahnya tingkat pendidikan. Kurangnya bentuk keterampilan dan wawasan ilmu, kurangnya bentuk pelatihan atau sosialisasi dari pemerintah.Nah ,dari permasalahan tersebut dari tim kami memberikan saran untuk mengurangi sistem penjualan hasil pertanian yang mayoritas masih mengandalkan tengkulak agar masyarakat dapat mengoptimalkan hasil tangkapan nelayan dengan mengolahnya sendiri sehingga akan menambah nilai jual dan menghasilkan keuntungan yang lebih tinggi, memberikan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat tentang inovasi produk olahan yang dapat dihasilkan dari hasil tangkapan nelayan serta cara pengemasan produk agar lebih menarik, masyarakat kaum muda ikut berperan aktif terutama dalam proses pemasaran produk olahan hasil inovasi tangkapan nelayan karena kaum muda lebih memahami teknologi dan terbuka terhadap perubahan yang ada.
