Abstract

Indonesia is a country prone to natural disasters. Dealing with the negative impacts caused by natural disasters is not an easy matter but requires various parties who collaborate to handle them, such as volunteers. The author aims to examine the urgency of altruism and hardiness in natural disaster relief volunteers. The findings of this study are volunteers, namely people who voluntarily give their time, energy, and money to help other people affected by natural disasters. Seeing the sad reality, namely natural disasters that cause many casualties. it is very important for a disaster management volunteer to have altruism and hardiness because with these two attitudes a disaster management volunteer is able to be useful to the people around him.

Abstract

The disasters that occur not only have an impact on casualties and material damage and losses, but also raise the potential of the community to become persons with disabilities. Persons with disabilities in Indonesia are increasingly vulnerable because of the mismatch between disaster risk reduction efforts and the diverse needs of these groups. Therefore, it is very important to study disaster risk reduction efforts through the involvement of persons with disabilities in Indonesia to be more sensitive to the needs of each type of disability. This writing uses a library research method with a library approach. The involvement of persons with disabilities in disaster management activities will further ensure the fulfillment of the needs of persons with disabilities and their handling in the event of a disaster. However, it must be realized that the involvement of persons with disabilities in disaster management efforts is not an easy task, so it requires technical skills, knowledge and good faith from the parties involved. Mainstreaming of persons with disabilities in disaster risk reduction through effective programs and policies starting from the pre-disaster stage until after the disaster occurs according to the type of disability that exists.

Abstract

This paper will discuss how the tactical steps of the leadership style of the Governor of Bali I Wayan Koster in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the Province of Bali. This paper uses a library approach. The findings of this study are that the tactical steps taken by the Governor of Bali were quite fast and precise by mobilizing the provision of adequate health facilities and competent medical personnel to empower local wisdom so as to suppress the spread of COVID-19. The leadership style he shows is also quite interesting, namely through a participatory leadership style approach and a transformational leadership style in dealing with this pandemic. Where this leadership style is shown by leadership that is able to encourage innovative thinking and use the moral values of its followers as important to increase their awareness of a problem.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of strategic leadership in dealing with the threat of tsunamis and floods in East Kalimantan Province. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a library approach. The findings of this study are in the concept of strategic leadership, BPBD in regency or city level is a strategic leader who organizes disaster management in East Kalimantan Province. East Kalimantan Province consists of 7 regencies and 3 cities and according to the conditions in the field there are already 9 regencies/ cities that have BPBDs and one district does not yet have BPBDs, namely Mahakam Ulu Regency and assisted by BPBD Samarinda City. In implementing strategic leadership, what strategic leaders need to deal with floods and tsunamis is coordination between various stakeholders in disaster management and collaboration as a form of competence that must be possessed by strategic leaders. In a concrete sense, the activities carried out in dealing with floods in regencies/ cities in East Kalimantan Province have been running and tsunami monitoring is being carried out in collaboration with the Geophysics Station of BMKG of Balikpapan City.

Abstract

This paper tried to explain bibliotherapy as handling trauma healing to reduce the psychological impact of victims of natural disasters. Indonesia is a country that will experience a disaster that can be seen based on data from the National Disaster Management Agency in 2019 provided 3.721 disaster events. Disasters that occur will cause both psychological impact and non-psychological impact. Victims of natural disasters that can be seen from the physical, emotional, behavioral, and cognitive aspects. Bibliotherapy is one of the service techniques by providing reading material about people who solve problems more similar to the counselee and finally can overcome difficulties or reading material that can improve the counselee's thinking to be more rational. This bibliotherapy will increase counselee's way of thinking to be more rational and also as a means of healing trauma. This study used a literature study by examining several theories and literature relating to bibliotherapy steps as a treatment for trauma healing to reduce the psychological impact of victims of natural disasters.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has become a stressor for individuals today which results in the emergence of various psychological problems such as anxiety, fear, and stress. So that psychological problems are not experienced, it is necessary to make efforts to develop individual resilience. Resilience is the individual's ability to survive and rise from the problems that are happening in his life. Efforts to develop individual resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic can be done by utilizing Islamic Art Therapy. This paper uses a literature study approach using content analysis. Through the use of Islamic Art Therapy it can effectively develop individual resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The role of the Military Resort Command in disaster management is a form of implementation of the Indonesian Armed Forces’ tasks, namely the task of Military Operations Other Than War (OMSP) in accordance with the mandate of Law Number 32 of 2004 concerning the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI). Disaster management in the regions carried out by the the Military Resort Command involvement of government agencies and other stakeholders. Between the the Military Resort Command, government agencies and stakeholders in disaster management. Related to the role of the the Military Resort Command, this research was conducted with the aim to study the the Military Resort Command 043/ Garuda Hitam’s Strategy for disaster management in Lampung Province. This research uses a qualitative method using case studies. In addition, researchers conducted interviews, observations and documentation studies to collect data and analyzed. The Military Resort Command 043/ Garuda Hitam in disaster management is by coordinating and communicating with government agencies and other stakeholders as well as facilitating Territorial Development (Binter) activities which are one of the tasks of the Military Resort Command 043/ Garuda Hitam in Lampung Province.

Abstract

Well-being in essence is not just material or physical prosperity, but how each individual gets the opportunity to develop his full potential, including spirituality. This study aims to explore the factors that influence spiritual well-being. The method used in this research is a systematic review. The findings of this study are factors that affect spiritual well-being including: mental health, spiritual coping, life satisfaction, hope, primary emotions, mindfulness, self-compassion, perceived social support, quality of life, adjustment to chronic diseases, psychological disorders, psychological well-being, and psychological resilience.

Abstract

Belakangan ini, Kawasan Wisata Bukik Chinangkiek Dreampark menjadi objek wisata baru yang buming di berbagai media sosial seperti Facebook, Instagram, maupun Twitter. Namun, dilihat dari akun Instagram milik Kawasan Wisata Bukik Chinangkiek Dreampark kurang terkelola dengan baik dan belum memiliki followers yang banyak. Hal ini melatar belakangi penelitian ini yang bertujuan untuk menggali pengaruh media sosial terhadap minat berkunjung wisatawan ke Kawasan Wisata Bukik Chinangkiak Dreampark. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 10.250 orang wisatawan dan dengan menggunakan derajat signifikansi 90%, maka sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah 100 orang dengan teknik penentuan sampel menggunakan metode non-probability sampling yaitu dengan menggunakan teknik sampling accidental. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang menggunakan angket dengan skala Likert. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh positif antara media sosial terhadap minat berkunjung wisatawan ke Kawasan Wisata Bukik Chinangkiek Dreampark. Adapun besar pengaruh media sosial terhadap minat berkunjung wisatawan yaitu sebesar 0.063 atau 6,3%. Hal ini menunjukkan media sosial mempengaruhi sebesar 6,3% minat berkunjung wisatawan ke Kawasan Wisata Bukik Chinangkiek Dreampark. Temuan penelitian ini akan memberikan manfaat bagi manajemen destinasi wisana, dimana media sosial turut mempengaruhi minat berkunjung wisatawan, di samping faktor-faktor yang lain yang turut mempengaruhi minat berkunjung wisatawan.

Abstract

Islamic guidance and counseling is very important in the current era of globalization. One interesting phenomenon in the development of modern science today is the emergence of scientific discourse related to the position and scientific map of Islamic guidance and counseling. The offense of Islamic guidance and counseling with several other disciplines actually places Islamic guidance and counseling in a fairly conflictual position. Although the Da'wah and Communication Faculties are not educational fields, the orientation of the scientific application of Islamic Guidance and Counseling can be applied to all backgrounds of life, both education and society. Therefore the development of a scientific model of Islamic guidance and counseling needs to be done. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. From the results of data collection, it is known that the scientific development of Islamic guidance and counseling is related to the model of education counseling and counseling, psychological guidance and counseling and counseling with the values of da'wah.
