Abstract

Ganoderma sp. generally attacks the roots or base of the tree, whether it's alive or dead. There are also other species of Ganoderma whose caps attach directly to the tree. If Ganoderma grows on wood or a tree, then it falls into the category of "lignicolous" fungi. Ganoderma sp. can cause basal stem rot (BSR) disease in oil palm or other productive plants such as rubber, coconut, and tea. The equipment used in this activity includes digital scales, beakers, measuring cups, ovens, LAF, petri dishes, needle probes, hotplates, bunsen burners, aluminum foil, autoclaves, knives, heat-resistant plastic or polypropylene, wool thread, cotton plugs, hoses, newspapers, and rubber. The materials used include potato extract, sugar, agar powder, distilled water, RWB, corn, and fine bran. 200 grams of potato extract, 10 grams of sugar, and 12 grams of agar powder are dissolved in 1000 ml of distilled water, and the rubber wood inoculum is cut into pieces measuring 6 cm x 6 cm x 6 cm and boiled for 7 hours. The experimental technique is carried out by combining the Ganoderma starter culture developed in RWB (Rubber Wood Block), then mixed with Trichoderma in its soil medium. After that, it is planted in oil palm seedlings in polybags and the percentage of oil palm seedling deaths is observed up to 12 months of age. Trichoderma, which acts as an antagonistic microbe, can suppress the growth of pathogens. By propagating Trichoderma fungi, which is one way to utilize biological agents to control 18 plant pests and diseases, it can also inhibit the percentage of deaths in oil palm seedlings. Propagating Trichoderma fungi on a nursery scale is used as a control for pests and diseases, especially Ganoderma fungi, which are currently still a pathogen in oil palm growth. By propagating Trichoderma fungi, it also cannot rule out the possibility of Ganoderma fungi growing.

Abstract

This study examines the importance of moral education for women, based on the teachings of Surah An-Nur, verse 31 in the Qur'an. The study aims to understand how Islamic education emphasizes moral cultivation as a guide for women, particularly in maintaining dignity and ethical conduct. Moral education in Islam focuses not only on personal aspects but also on social responsibility, aiming to develop women’s character with strong faith, piety, and moral integrity. This research employs a library study method with content analysis to explore relevant literature. The findings indicate that teachings on controlling one’s gaze, covering one’s body, and dressing modestly are fundamental in preserving women’s dignity. Moral education serves not only as a behavioral guide but also as a means of building a positive character that adapts to social changes.Overall, moral education for women in Islam is a comprehensive, continuous process. It aims to shape women who not only embody religious values but also contribute positively to society. This study offers insights into how moral education plays an essential role in strengthening the identity of Muslim women and supporting the creation of a more harmonious society.

Abstract

The Covid-19 era has necessitated changes in Indonesia's education system to make it more contemporary and relevant. Education, being dynamic, must evolve with the times and adapt to societal conditions. In this context, the curriculum plays a pivotal role in constructing a more appropriate education system. This involves incorporating critical thinking, logical reasoning, and diverse perspectives. The Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) serves as a benchmark, while the philosophy of science acts as a critical analytical tool. The aim of this discussion is to integrate various elements, specifically the philosophy of science, an independent curriculum, and Islamic education (PAI) students. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing library research or literature review methods for data collection. The discussions and findings culminate in the development of an independent curriculum, conceptualized as the "educational change trilogy." This curriculum is then integrated with Islamic education in Indonesia. By combining problem identification, solution development, and result analysis, this study proposes a comprehensive framework for educational reform in Indonesia

Abstract

Law Number 33 of 2014 and Government Regulation Number 31 of 2019 in Indonesia shifted halal certification from voluntary to mandatory on October 17, 2019, contrasting with Malaysia's voluntary system under the 2011 Akta Perihal Dagang (APD). This study aims to scrutinize the legal regulations of halal certification in both countries and assess their impacts on business entities. Employing a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach reveals differences in certification procedures, notably in application-to-issuance stages. Indonesia provides a self-declaration mechanism for micro and small businesses, while Malaysia lacks such a provision. Nonetheless, material inspection principles align in both nations. Most respondents perceive halal certification as crucial for sales turnover, despite challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is significant for businesses and governments on how to manage halal certification in both countries.

Abstract

In forming an audit opinion, some aspects need to be considered by state auditors. This study aims to investigate the impact of integrity, independence, professional skepticism, and audit situation on audit opinion in the context of auditing state institutions by state auditors. Cluster proportional sampling was used to sample 52 auditors who worked at the Directorate General of Audit I, BPK RI. The analysis was conducted using structural equation modeling and partial least squares with SmartPLS 4 software. The results revealed that integrity and independence positively affected audit opinion. Professional skepticism and audit situations do not affect audit opinion. The results will provide input to the BPK RI in guiding the development of auditor competencies to improve the quality of audit results. This study concludes that auditors believe that when they demonstrate integrity and independence, the accuracy of audit opinion will increase. This is because, with these qualities, an auditor will have courage, honesty, and responsibility and will not be unduly influenced. Although previous studies have extensively examined the impact of these factors in the context of audit firms auditing commercial companies, this is a novel study in the context of audits conducted by state auditors for state institutions.
