Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis jenis tindak tutur ilokusi berupa asertif, direktif, komisif, ekspresif dan deklaratif yang terdapat pada kumpulan cerita rakyat Kabupaten Sintang, serta implementasinya dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Metode dalam penelitian ini berupa deskriptif dengan bentuk kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumenter dengan menyimak seluruh isi bacaan cerita rakyat kabupaten Sintang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tindak tutur ilokusi dalam kumpulan cerita rakyat kabupaten Sintang berjumlah 68 data, yang terdiri dari 26 tindak tutur asertif, 28 tindak tutur direktif, 3 tindak tutur komisif, 10 tindak tutur ekspresif, dan 1 tindak tutur deklaratif. Penelitian ini dapat diimplementasikan pada menulis bahan ajar Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Kurikulum 2013 jenjang SMA kelas X1 semester genap dengan Kompetensi Dasar 3.19 “Menganalisis isi dan kebahasaan drama yang dibaca atau ditonton”. Kompetensi Dasar 4.19 “Mendemonstrasikan sebuah naskah drama dengan memerhatikan isi dan kebahasaan”.

Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by activities carried out by the community in the Sambas river flow, such as household activities, as transportation routes, sources of livelihoods, and entertaiment facilities. A common problem in this research was the Terminology of Community Activities in the Sambas River Flow.Common problems are divided into three subproblems, namely the terminologyform, lexical meanings and cultural meanings, and components of meaning. This research was conducted using descriptive methods with qualitative forms. The method of data collection used were observation, interviews, and documentation.This research was successful collecting 43 terminology data. From the 43 terminologies of the activity, 35 terminologieswere in the form  of word, and 8 terminologieswere in the form of phrases.The 43 terminologieswere grouped into 4 types of activities, namely households, transportation routes, sources of livelihood, and entertaiment facilities.Cultural meanings are divided into 1 myth in the activity category and 3 forbidden in the tool dan activities category. Abstract

AbstractThe illocutionary speech act is expression to say or inform something with a specific purpose and function. This study aims to prevent speaker and interlocutor from misunderstand the meaning of a speech. The researcher chose illocutionary speech act as the research focus to describe each classification in this study. The researcher chose a novel because it shows about daily basis. This research used descriptive method in the qualitative approach with documentary. The source is from “Si Anak Cahaya” by Tere Liye, which are sentences and conversations. The researcher as the key instrument and uses it into reading results that included illocutionary speech acts in the novel. The data validity was carried out by two analysis, namely observation persistence and reference coverage. The results showed that there are 87 expressions, divided into 41 assertive, 22 directive and 18 expressive illocutionary speech acts. Based on the results, the conclusion is assertive illocutionary speech acts are more than the others. Declarative and commissive illocutionary speech acts are not found in the novel because they are typical speech acts that done by authority person in a certain institution.Keywords: Illocutionary speech act, novel

Abstract

AbstractThis study was aimed to analyz the traditional terminology of body care in Sambas Malay society. Precisely in Tambatan Village, Sambas Regency. The problems discussed in this study were the form, lexical meaning, cultural meaning of traditional body care terminology in the Sambas Malay community, as well as the meaning and purpose of used the mantra in the activity. Then the implication is in language learning. The method in this study was a descriptive method. The approach isstructural, semantic, and ethnolinguistic. The source of the data was in the form of the informant's speech regarding the term of traditional body care. The data collection technique was skillful as the first technique, record, and record. Tool for collecting data from the researcher himself as a key instrument. The researcher managed to gather 140 terms and 7 traditional body care spells in the Sambas Malay community. The terminology consists of 33 terms in the form of monomorfemis, 74terms in the form of polymorphisms (30 terms in the form of endocentric phrases and 3 terms in the form of exocentric phrases), and 33 terms in the form. Then there are 140 terms that have lexical meanings and 63 terms have cultural meanings.Keywords: Sambas Malay Society , Traditional Body Care, Terminology

Abstract

This study aims to describe the terminology in the Temu Manten procession in the Javanese community in Parit Keladi Village, Sungai Kakap District. The problem of this research is the form of terminology, lexical meaning, grammatical meaning, cultural meaning and the implementation of terminology in the Temu Manten procession in the Javanese community in Parit Keladi Village, Sungai Kakap District on learning at school. This research uses descriptive method in the form of qualitative. Data collection techniques, namely, observation, interview, note and record. This study resulted in 53 linguistic data in the Temu Manten procession in the Javanese community in Parit Keladi Village, Sungai Kakap District which consisted of the term tool containing 9 data, the term material 27 data, the term cultural object 2 data, the term actor 8 data, and the term procession 7 data. . The form of terminology in the form of monomorphism contained 26 data, reduplication contained 2 data, and phrases contained 25 data. The meaning contained in the term temu manten procession in the Javanese community in Parit Keladi Village, Sungai Kakap District, is based on the lexical meaning of 39 data, the grammatical meaning of 23 data and the cultural meaning of 47 data. The form of the Indonesian language learning text based on the terminology in the Temu Manten procession in the Javanese community in Parit Keladi Village, Sungai Kakap District is a descriptive text.

Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by the role of single sentences in literature to build a short story. This study aimsed to present single sentence forms using tagmemics contained in the short stories of Senyum Karyamin. This research method was a descriptive method with qualitative research.The technique was used documentary technique. The data source in this study was a collection of short stories by Karyamin’s Smile by Ahmad Tohari. The data in this study were transitive active single sentences, active intransitive single sentences, and passive sentences. The technique of analyzing transitive active single sentence data, intransitive active single sentences and passive sentences used subordinate or gatra formulas, concluded the results of the analysis, and designs implementation into learning. Based on the results of data analysis it was found that the collection of short stories of Senyum Karyamin contained single sentence which were analyzed using tagmemics in the form of transitive single sentence, intransitive single sentence, and pasif single sentence. The number of use of each sentence in the short story collection was 78 transitive active single sentences, 122 intransitive active single sentences, and 4 passive single sentences.  Keywords: tagmemics, short story

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the forms and types of conversational implicatures in the 2020 Sambas Regent and Deputy Regent Candidate Debate. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative research form. The data from this study are declarative sentences, imperative sentences, introgative sentences, general and specific conversational implicature in the 2020 Sambas Regent and Deputy Regent Candidate Pair Debate. The source of data was taking from the 2020 Sambas Regent and Deputy Regent candidate pair debate which is broadcast through the Sambas Regency Comunications and Information Agency youtube page which was broadcast live on November 21, 2020, lasted 3 hours 26 minutes 25 detik. The data collection technique in this research is a documentary study technique. Based on the results of the analysis in the 2020 Sambas regent and Deputy Regent Candidate Debate, it can be concluded that there are 23 forms af declarative implicature sentences, 21 forms of interrogative implicature sentences, 41 forms of imperative implicature sentences, 7 forms of general conversational implicature sentences, and 78 specific conversational implicature sentences. In addition, this research can also be used as teaching material in learning Indonesian for grade X second semester in senior high school level as the debate material.Keywords: Conversational Implicature, Debate, Implicatur

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the form of syntactic construct errors. The results of the analysis of this study found that there were errors caused by several things, namely language errors in the syntactic aspect, including 8 errors in phrase aspect and 25 errors in sentence aspects. Phrase errors include incorrect wording and incomplete elements of the phrase. Sentence construction errors are divided into 2 parts, namely the use of sentence functions (5 category) and choice of prepositions and use of conjunctions (4 category). The first category, namely the improper compositions of the subject functions, the absence of elements of the predicate functions, improper use of predicate functions, excessive use of predicate functions, and incomplete sentences or absence of free clauses in compound sentences. The second category is the incorrect choice of prepositions, the absence of prepositions, improper use of conjunctions, and use of multiple or excessive elements.Keywords: construction, syntax, phrase, clause, sentence, opinion.

Abstract

Abstract This study observed the activity of circumcise of Sambas Community daughters. Circumcise is a ritual tradition carried out hereditary by the community in pre-implementation, or post-implementation stage. The approach of this is the ethno-linguistics with the research problem in form of terminologi, lexical, meanings cultural, and its implementation in teaching and learning.The methodology used in this research was descriptive in form of qualitative research. The data sources of this study is the speech of Malay language in Sambas dialect spoken by community of Teluk Keramat sub-district, Kubangga village Kubung. The data in this study is the terminology used in  circumcises daughters of Sambas Malay community such as tools, process, and the terminology of speech.  The technique of this research is interview. the tools of dsts collection were interview guideline, stationary, camera, and recording devices. Based on the research,  conducted, 90 terms were collected as data of research. The data consist of 59 terms of tool, 17 terms of process, and 4 terms of time, 6 terms of doer, 3 terms of place,3 terms of word and 3 terms of abstinence forbids. Keywords:  Circumcising Daughters Terminology, Malay Sambas

Abstract

AbstractThis research uses descriptive method in a qualitative form using documentary study techniques. The data source in this research is the novel Surga Untuk Ibuku by Riri Ansar in the form of a speech or dialogue betweencharacters. The data collection tool is the researcher as a key instrument assisted by notes in the form of inter-character speeches which contain the principle of politeness according to Leech in the novel Surga Untuk Ibuku by Riri Ansar. The technique of testing the validity of the data was carried out using three techniques, namely observer persistence, reference adequacy, and peer examination. The research results in this study were 59 utterances. The maxim of generosity consists of 14 utterances, the maxim of sympathy is 7 utterances, the maxim of appreciation is 5, the maxim of wisdom is 10, the maxim of simplicity is 3, the maxims of consensus are 2, very polite utterances are 4, the polite utterances are 4, utterances very impolite amounted to 5 utterances, and disrespectful speech totaled 5 utterances. Based on the results of the research analysis, it can be concluded that the maxim of generosity, maxim of wisdom, utterance is very impolite, and very few utterances in the novel Surga Untuk Ibuku by Riri Ansar are the maxims of consensus and simplicity.Keywords: pragmatic, the principle of politeness, novel
