Abstract

AbstractThis research talked about the speech acts in novel Teman Hidupby Andaru Intan.The speech act is the directive and expressive speech act that takes place between dialogues in novel Teman Hidup by Andaru Intan.The method used in this research is descriptive method. This research is in the form of qualitative research.The data source in this study is novel Teman Hidup by Andaru Intan.The data in this study are directive and expressive speech acts of speech.  Data collection techniques used in this study are documentary study techniques. Techniques to test the validity of the data in this study are the perseverance of observation and the scope of the reference.  The results of this study are utterances spoken by all figures both directive and expansive.The results of this study can be implemented in Indonesian language learning.Keywords: Expressive,Directive, Novels

Abstract

Abstract.The Kuali Hangus film is one of the regional films of Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan, in the Selakau District. The research problem was how persona deixis, place deixis, time deixis in a dialect of Sambas Malay, and the implementation plans of drama texts in learning Indonesian in high school class XI. The method used in this research was a qualitative descriptive study. The data and the data sources were the Sambas dialect Malay words and phrases enclosed in the film Kuali Hangus. The techniques of data collecting was documentary, meanwhile, the tools of data collecting were the researcher as key instruments. The technique of data validity conversion and the data analysis were obtained through the observation persistence, references adequacy, and lecturers’ guidance based. Based on the research findings, there were three deixes. First, the person deixis, it was divided into three the first, second, and third-person deixis. Then, the place deixis comprised of three, deixis proximal, semi-proximal, and distal places. Finally, time deixis that divided into two, deixis of present and pastime. This research was expected to be used as teaching material in learning         Indonesian curriculum 2013 in the eleventh grade of high school.  Keywords: Deixis, Film, Implementation

Abstract

AbstractThis study was the morphological study of verbal five senses in Sambas dialect Malayan languages in Pemangkat Sub District in Sambas Regency. The morphological study of verbal five senses that cover the kind of verbal five senses, the meaning of verbal five senses, the process of morfology which was taken by verbal of five senses, and the text suplement form on learning the curriculum 2013 Indonesian Languages. The method that was used in this research was descriptive method with the qualitative research form. The technique that was used in this research was tapping technique, interesting technique and documentary technical study whereas. The tool which was used was question list, documentation and “Tullah” film. Based on the result of analysis consist of two kinds of verbal five senses namely based on the form and based on sub-categorization. The meaning of verbal five senses analized using the lexical meaning form verbal basic five senses. The process of morfology that was used was affixation and the giving of affix meaning that attached on verbal five senses. Abstract

Abstract.The research was to avoid the readers’ misunderstanding about speech acts of the novel. The research problem was about how the politeness maxim in the novel Dear Nathan by Erisca Febriani. The aim of this research was to describe the politeness maxim in the novel Dear Nathan by Erisca Febriani.This research was qualitative study with descriptive method. The technique in collecting data was documenter study with Speaking and context analysis. The data in this research were a dialog that in conformity with Politeness Maxim and a dialog with Politeness Maxim deviation. The data resource was the novel Dear Nathan by Erisca Febriani. The research implementation was associated with Indonesia language and literature learning that foundon 2013 Curriculum development in the first semester of X grade students of Senior Highschool. Basic Competence 3.11 where about analysing content, structure (orientation, submission, offer, agreement, closing) and the language of negotiation text. Based on the data analysis, it could be concluded that the utterances which in conformity with Politeness Maxim were more dominant than politeness principle deviation. Utterances that obey polite principle were 98 utterances. Utterances that deviate Politeness principle were 20 utterances. Keywords: maxim, novel, politeness, speech act

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted using descriptive methods. The reasonresearchers used the descriptive method through the stages of data collection,data analysis, and data presentation was because the researcher wanted toprovide an objective picture of the terminology of community activities relatedto the Kapuas River in Pontianak Malay. The form of research used isqualitative research. This qualitative approach was taken because in thisstudy the objectives or research objects were limited so that the data takencould be extracted as much as possible and so that in this study it was notpossible to expand the research object. Based on the results of the study,researchers found a description of the terrain of terminology in activities inthe Kapuas River watershed Pontianak Malay community found four activitiesnamely cultural activities, fishing activities, daily activities and touristactivities with a total of 86 words. All terminology in activities in the KapuasRiver basin of the Pontianak Malay community has 86 lexical meanings and16 cultural meanings. The implementation of learning using culturaldescription text, which is a waste, makes it easier for students to understandthe text because the culture of waste is closely attached to the Pontianakcommunity living on the Kapuas River.Keywords: Field of Meaning, Malay Language, Semantics.

Abstract

AbstractDayak Jawatn Society focused on terminologies of wild animal trapping tools using semantic analysis. The problems in this reserach are how is the terminologies’ inventory, lexical meaning, component analysis of semantic and function meaning. The methods used in this research is descriptive method. The form used is qualitative form. The data in this research is terminologies of wild animal trapping tools in Dayak Jawatn Society in the district of Sekadau Hulu. The data source in this research is Dayak Jawatn native speaker whose having knowledge of wild animal trapping tools and how to make it. The technique used in this research is listening technique that has advance stages: listening and speaking involvement technique, recording technique, and note technique. The tools used in collecting data are the researcher as key instrument and using supporting tools like interview instrument, sound recorder, camera, and stationery. Based on the research result Terminologies of Wild Animal Trapping Tools consist of six terminologies classification: 18 terms based on trap names, 3 terms based on tools, 5 terms based on materials, 14 terms based on parts, 25 terms based on process, and 4 terms based on places of putting the traps. Keywords: terminologies, wild animal trapping tools, Dayak Jawatn Society

Abstract

 AbstractThis research is motivated because students of class X MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak including dwibahasawan. In addition, they use of local and Indonesian language still insert other language elements. The purpose of this research to find out the code switching and code mixing on students’ speech of class X MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak. The method used is descriptive method and qualitative research form. Sources of data in this research are students of class X MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak which amounted to 40 people, while the data is the result of speech or conversation students. Technique of collecting data used is by sadap technique, simak libat cakap technique, and simak bebas libat cakap technique. The tools used in data collection are the researchers themselves as key instruments and research instruments such as recorder and data recording card. Based on the results of data analysis, there is type of internal code switching and external code switching, type of inner code mixing and outher code mixing, the three factors causing the code switching, and the four factors causing the code mixing on students’ speech of class X MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak.Keywords: Code Switching, Code Mixing, Students’ Speech

Abstract

AbstractTerminology on Batalah ceremony in Dayak community Kanayatn Ahe language Kabupaten Landak. Language and Arts Education Study Program. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Tanjungpura University Pontianak. First advisor, Dr. Patriantoro, M.Hum. and Second advisor Dr. Laurensius Salem, M.Pd. Batalah is naming ceremony to a newborn child by Dayak Kanayatn community, Kabupaten Landak. Batalah ceremony activity process starts from the preparation, implementation, and post-implementation. The problems in this research are how the form of terminology in the Batalah ceremony, the lexical meaning, the cultural meaning, and the form of the text produced as a supplement for Indonesian learning teaching materials. The purpose of this research is describing  the terminology on Batalah ceremony in Dayak community Kanayatn Ahe language Kabupaten Landak. The method used in this research is descriptive with qualitative research form. The analysis is carried out based on the problem in the research which includes the terminology of the preparation, implementation, and post-implementation. Based on the data analysis there are 97 terminologies on Batalah ceremony in Dayak community Kanayatn Ahe language Kabupaten Landak. There are 42 data of lexical meaning and 48 data of cultural meaning. Keywords: Terminology, Batalah, Dayak Kanayatn Ahe language.

Abstract

This study was conducted to describe the adherence to the principle of language politeness contained in the dialog in the novel Takbir Cinta di Jabal Rahmah by Roidah, as well as the implementation of this research in Indonesian language learning. This research uses a descriptive method by using a qualitative approach. The main data source used in this research is the novel Takbir Cinta di Jabal Rahmah by Roidah. The main data in this research is the compliance of the principles of language politeness in the dialog in the novel Takbir Cinta di Jabal Rahmah. The data collection technique used a documentary study technique. Data collection tools are researchers themselves and other tools. The techniques for testing the validity of this research are observation persistence, investigator triangulation, and using reference materials. Data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This study found 53 utterances that contain the principle of language politeness according to Leech. It is described as 53 utterances of maxims of compliance which include: maxims of wisdom (12), maxims of generosity (1), maxims of praise (18), maxims of humility (5), maxims of agreement (15) and maxims of sympathy (2).

Abstract

This research aims to find out about Indonesian language acquisition in children with special needs (Down Syndrome) case study of Ahmad Zakir Ma Arif, psycholinguistic studies. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative research form. The data source of this research is obtained directly from the subject of a child with Down syndrome, the research data is Indonesian sentence patterns in accordance with the formulation of the selected problem. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, documentation, and interviews. The data collection tools used are recording devices, stationery. After that, the results of the analysis show that declarative sentences (news) are 20 sentences, imperative sentences (orders) are 10 sentences. Interrogative sentences (question) as many as 3 sentences. From the results of the data analysis that has been carried out, the most dominant sentence obtained by children with Down syndrome is a declarative sentence, actually children with Down syndrome understand what other people say, but they only have difficulty pronouncing words to answer what other people say, therefore parents must early train and conduct therapy for children with Down syndrome.
