Abstract

Preeklampsia adalah komplikasi kehamilan pada trimester 2 dan trimester 3 yang ditandai dengan hipertensi dan proteinuria yang terjadi setelah minggu ke-20 kehamilan. Invasi trofoblas pada arteri spiralis uterus dengan gejala klinis hipertensi, proteinuria dan edema, yang berasal dari perubahan patologis dalam vaskularisasi endotelium ibu atau mengakibatkan disfungsi endotel pada plasenta. Preeklampsia meningkatkan ekspresi molekul adhesi ICAM-1 pada permukaan sel endotel yang berinteraksi dengan ligannya pada permukaan leukosit. Munculnya sitokin inflamasi mengakibatkan peningkatan aktifitas makrofag dan netrofil pada pembuluh darah arteri spiralis sehingga akan mengakibatkan disfungsi endotel. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya genotip gen ICAM-1 pada ibu preeklampsia dengan menggunakan metode Polymerase Chain Reaction-Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism (PCR-RFLP). Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif laboratorium. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu pada ibu preeklampsia yang berumur 26-40 tahun dengan usia kehamilan ≥ 20 minggu (Trimester 2 dan trimester 3) sebanyak 6 responden. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Polymerase Chain Reaction-Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) dengan menggunakan enzim retriksi BstU1 (Bsh1236I). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hasil visualisasi tersebut dari 6 sampel pasien preeklampsia diperoleh hasil 4 positif (66%) yang menjadi gen ICAM-1. Hasil PCR dengan menggunakan serum pasien ibu preeklampsia adalah genotipe KK (100 %) ditandai dengan adanya hasil positif gen ICAM-1 pada 4 sampel dengan terbentuk pita DNA berukuran 223 bp dan setelah dilakukan digesti DNA dengan enzim retriksi BstU1 (Bsh1236I) ditemukan hasil membawa genotipe KK terbentuk pita DNA berukuran 223 bp (50%) dan genotipe EK terbentuk pita DNA berukuran 223 bp, 136 bp dan 87 bp (50%) yang menandakan adanya mutasi gen ICAM-1, sedangkan pada genotipe EE (0%). Kesimpulannya Polimorfisme gen ICAM-1 exon 6 pada serum pasien ibu preeklampsia dengan menggunakan enzim retriksi BstU1 (Bsh1236I) diperoleh hasil pita DNA yang berukuran 223 bp (KK) dan 223 bp, 136 bp dan 87 bp (EK) yang menandakan adanya mutasi gen ICAM-1.

Abstract

Pengolahan nikel menghasilkan unsur kimia berbahaya yang dapat mempengaruhi kualitas udara, sehingga apabila nikel masuk kedalam tubuh manusia melalui inhalasi, oral dan dermal maka nikel diserap dalam darah dan terakumulasi didalam tubuh pekerja industri pengolahan nikel sehingga dapat menyebabkan kanker. Salah satu protein penanda kanker yaitu AEG-1 yang diekspresikan secara berlebihan pada semua kanker dan secara bertahap meningkat seiring dengan proses perkembangan kanker, dan tingkat ekspresi AEG-1 jelas berkorelasi dengan prognosis pasien yang buruk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeteksi protein AEG-1 dalam sampel darah pekerja industri pengolahan nikel di kecamatan Morosi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pekerja industri pengolahan nikel divisi smelter berjumlah 36 orang, dengan teknik penarikan sampel secara Accidental Sampling., dengan jumlah sampel 14 orang. Metode pemeriksaan menggunakan metode Sodium Dodesilsulfat Poliakrilamida Gel Elektroforesis (SDS-PAGE). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dari 14 sampel terdapat 65 pita-pita protein dengan berat molekul yang berbeda. Terdapat 7 sampel (S1, S3, S4, S8, S9, S11, dan S12) menunjukan berat molekul protein AEG-1 berkisar antara 70-80 kDa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa terdapat protein AEG-1 pada 7 sampel serum pekerja industri pengolahan nikel. Sebaiknya pekerja industri pengolahan nikel lebih memperhatikan dan mentaati peraturan keselamatan kerja tentang penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) saat bekerja dilingkungan industri  pengolahan nikel dan  untuk penelitian yang lebih lanjut agar lebih spesifik melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap pekerja industri pengolahan nikel tentang jenis kanker yang diakibatkan oleh paparan nikel.

Abstract

This research is a type of development research which aims to: (1) produce an archival information system for students' final assignment documents at the Psychology Faculty, Makassar State University; (2) testing the archival information system for students' final assignment documents at the Faculty of Psychology, Makassar State University based on ISO/IEC 25010; (3) see the effectiveness of the archival information system for students' final assignment documents at the Faculty of Psychology, Makassar State University; (4) analyzing the responses of archival information system users to the final assignment documents of Psychology Faculty students at Makassar State University. This research uses the research and development (RnD) method and the waterfall development. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire and documentation, then the data was processed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results of the development prove that the archival information system for students' final assignment documents at the Faculty of Psychology, Makassar State University is suitable for use because it has been declared suitable by a media expert validator. Very effective to use based on effectiveness test questionnaires, very suitable for use based on user responses. And has met the ISO/IEC 25010 testing standards with test results for the functionality suitability aspect of 100% in the "very feasible" category, GTMetrix test performance efficiency category B "Good", usability 52% stating "very feasible", security level 2 "Poor", reliability 100% reliable, 100% maintainability meets instrumentation, consistency and simplicity tests. Compatibility is “very good” on Edge, Opera, Chrome and Android browsers. 100% portability can operate on 4 operating systems.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an intelligent parking system with online authentication in different areas using RFID sensors and to confirm the development results of the system through functional tests. This research is research and development (R&D) using a prototype model. The data were then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The result of this study is an intelligent parking system that uses RFID sensors for online authentication in different areas, and the test results show that the average card authentication time at parking portals in different areas is 2.3 seconds. Based on the test results, the resulting smart parking system using RFID sensors for online verification in different areas can work as expected.

Abstract

Pembelajaran dengan konsep blended learning berbasis gamifikasi bergantung pada berbagai faktor, termasuk desain elemen gamifikasi, konteks lingkungan belajar, dan karakteristik peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk mempertimbangkan perbedaan individu saat merancang elemen gamifikasi dalam pembelajaran campuran untuk memastikan keefektifannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui pengaruh model blended learning berbasis gamifikasi terhadap motivasi belajar (learning motivation) mahasiswa, (2) Mengetahui pengaruh model blended learning berbasis gamifikasi terhadap hasil belajar (learning outcomes) mahasiswa, (3) Mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar (learning motivation) terhadap hasil belajar (learning outcomes), dan (4) Mengetahui pengaruh Student Motivation yang memediasi hubungan antara Gamification-based blended learning model dan Learning Outcomes. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah expost de facto. Sampel pada penelitian ini mahasiswa semester 4 angkatan 2021 yang mempelajari mata kuliah análisis desain sistem informasi pada jurusan teknik informatika dan komputer dengan jumlah 105 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) model blended learning berbasis Gamifikasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar namun tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar, (2) motivasi belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar, dan (3) Motivasi belajar yang memediasi model blended learning berbasis gamifikasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar. Berdasarkan 3 (tiga) hasil penelitian ini dapat dilihat bahwa model blended learning berbasis gamifikasi berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar. Namun yang menjadi keterbatasan disini adalah model blended learning belum berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar.

Abstract

Background: Lead disrupts heme synthesis through various mechanisms, one of which is by interfering with the activation of the enzyme δ-aminolevulinic acid dehydratase (δ-ALAD) and ferrochelatase. Lead contamination in the blood will decrease hemoglobin levels; the higher the lead concentration in a person's body, the lower their hemoglobin levels will be. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between lead (Pb) levels in the blood and hemoglobin levels in miners in the nickel processing industry. Methods: This study uses an analytical research type with a cross-sectional design employing the Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) and Hematology Analyzer methods. The population in this study consisted of 16 respondents. The sample in this study consisted of 15 respondents. The variables of this study are miners, lead (Pb) levels, and hemoglobin (Hb) levels. Results: The study obtained an average blood lead level of 13.81 µg/dL and an average hemoglobin level of 13.4 g/dL. The research results with the Pearson correlation statistical test between blood lead levels and hemoglobin levels showed a significance of p = 0.404 and a correlation coefficient of r = -0.233. Conclusion: Based on this study, it is concluded that there is no relationship between blood lead levels and hemoglobin levels in nickel processing industry mine workers, with a correlation between lead (Pb) and hemoglobin of p = 0.404, which is greater than 0.05 (p > 0.05).

Abstract

Edukasi dan Pemeriksaan kesehatan yang meliputi pemeriksaan kimia darah seperti, glukosa darah, kolesterol, asam urat merupakan salah satu pemeriksaan penunjang utama untuk medeteksi adanya suatu gejala penyakit yang di alami oleh warga desa. Tujuan utama dari pemeriksaan-pemeriksaan ini adalah untuk mendeteksi dini adanya penyakit atau kondisi kesehatan yang berpotensi serius, seperti diabetes, gout, atau tekanan darah tinggi, dengan melakukan pemeriksaan rutin, dokter dapat mengidentifikasi masalah kesehatan sebelum berkembang menjadi lebih parah, sehingga memungkinkan intervensi dini yang efektif. Lokasi pengabdian dilaksanakan di Desa Walelei Kecamatan Barangka Kanupaten Muna barat Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Jumlah Responden sebanyak 20 orang yang melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan. Kesimpulan pada pengabdian ini adalah bahwa Edukasi dan Pemeriksaan kesehatan (Kimia Darah dan Hipertensi) di Desa Walelei Kecamatan Barangka  Kabupaten Muna Barat Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara merupakan komponen integral dalam manajemen kesehatan komprehensif, terutama bagi populasi berisiko tinggi seperti lansia. Pendekatan terpadu dalam pemeriksaan dan edukasi ini tidak hanya memfasilitasi deteksi dini dan manajemen yang efektif, tetapi juga memberdayakan individu untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam perawatan kesehatan mereka sendiri serta dapat meningkatkan derajat kesehatan.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence has rapidly developed, especially in education and programming, providing advantages in improving learning efficiency and personalizing educational content. This study examines the relationships between learning motivation and problem-solving skills, as well as factors influencing learning motivation, namely growth mindset, self-efficacy, and perceived usefulness of Artificial Intelligence. Data collected from 276 students were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. The results show that growth mindset, self-efficacy, and perceived usefulness significantly influence learning motivation. Additionally, learning motivation strongly predicts problem-solving skills in programming tasks. These findings emphasize the critical role of psychological factors in fostering learning motivation and improving problem-solving abilities within Artificial Intelligence-enhanced programming environments. This research offers valuable insights for educators and instructional designers to develop effective strategies that integrate psychological support and Artificial Intelligence tools, ultimately enhancing student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Relevant and Applicable Content (RAC) and Learner Support (LS) on Motivation and Engagement (ME) in digital learning, mediated by Academic Self-Efficacy (ASE). Higher education faces challenges in maintaining student motivation and engagement along with the rapid growth of digital learning technologies. However, limited research has explored the roles of RAC and LS in this context. This study aimed to address this gap by examining ASE's mediating influence. A quantitative approach was utilized, collecting data through self-report questionnaires from 375 university students. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to analyze the relationships among variables. The results revealed that RAC and LS positively influenced ME directly and indirectly through ASE. These findings emphasize the need for relevant content and robust learner support to design effective digital learning programs. Implementing these strategies can foster motivation, engagement, and student-centred learning outcomes in higher education

Abstract

The rapid shift towards digitalization, accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic, requires a reassessment of problem-solving strategies in the education system. This study aims to investigate the interactions between Digital Competencies, Psychological Traits, Digital Readiness, and Awareness, and their combined influence on Learning Outcomes. The study utilized a quantitative, cross-sectional design, focusing on university students engaged in digital learning environments in higher education. Data were collected from 467 students through a validated online questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results revealed that Digital Competence and Psychological Traits significantly and positively influence Learning Outcomes, both directly and indirectly through the mediating role of Digital Readiness and Awareness. The findings emphasize the need for a holistic approach in education, which integrates technical skills and psychological readiness to enhance academic success in an increasingly digital learning environment. This study also highlights the need for further research with a longitudinal design to explore the long-term effects of digital competency and awareness interventions. Recommendations for future research include examining additional factors such as social support and technology access to further strengthen digital readiness and learning outcomes
