Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance participants’ understanding and skills in identifying and formulating research ideas that are relevant and feasible to be developed into undergraduate theses and scientific articles through the implementation of a national webinar. The activity was conducted on December 5 in an online format using the Zoom Meeting platform and was live-streamed via YouTube to reach a broader audience. The target participants were the general public, with the majority consisting of lecturers and university students from various higher education institutions in Indonesia. The implementation methods included systematic material presentation, interactive discussions, and question-and-answer sessions focused on strategies for identifying research problems, mapping research novelty, and aligning research ideas with academic and publication requirements. The results of the activity indicate an improvement in participants’ understanding of the stages involved in generating research ideas derived from current phenomena, literature reviews, and academic as well as professional experiences. In addition, participants gained practical insights into aligning research ideas with scientific writing standards and publication policies. This activity makes a positive contribution to supporting the improvement of research quality and scientific publications within the academic community. ABSTRAK Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam menemukan serta merumuskan ide penelitian yang relevan dan layak dikembangkan menjadi skripsi maupun artikel ilmiah melalui penyelenggaraan webinar nasional. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 5 Desember secara daring menggunakan platform Zoom Meeting dan disiarkan secara langsung melalui YouTube agar dapat menjangkau peserta secara lebih luas. Sasaran kegiatan adalah peserta umum dengan mayoritas berasal dari kalangan dosen dan mahasiswa dari berbagai perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi penyampaian materi secara sistematis, diskusi interaktif, serta sesi tanya jawab yang difokuskan pada strategi identifikasi masalah penelitian, pemetaan kebaruan (novelty), dan penyesuaian ide penelitian dengan kebutuhan akademik dan publikasi ilmiah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap tahapan menemukan ide penelitian yang bersumber dari fenomena aktual, hasil kajian literatur, serta pengalaman akademik dan profesional. Selain itu, peserta memperoleh wawasan praktis mengenai penyelarasan ide penelitian dengan standar penulisan ilmiah dan kebijakan publikasi. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam mendukung peningkatan kualitas penelitian dan publikasi ilmiah di lingkungan akademik.

Abstract

Academic culture and service excellence are widely recognized as key determinants of students’ trust, which in turn shapes educational experiences and persistence in higher education. This study investigates their influence on students’ trust at the Mandalika University of Education (UNDIKMA) Mataram during the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.A descriptive verification design with a survey approach was employed. The sample comprised 100 students from the Faculty of Education and Psychology, purposively selected from the 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th semesters. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, multiple linear regression, correlation analysis, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing with SPSS 21.0.The findings indicate that academic culture and service excellence jointly exert a significant positive effect on students’ trust in completing their studies at UNDIKMA. Both variables demonstrate meaningful contributions, confirming their role as predictors of trust.Strengthening academic culture and improving service excellence are critical for fostering students’ trust and sustaining their commitment to academic completion. Continuous institutional efforts involving all academic stakeholders are necessary to enhance these dimensions and maintain student trust across academic years.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the readiness of final semester students of the Faculty of Education and Psychology, Mandalika Education University for the 2020/2021 academic year in facing the world of work in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. This research is a survey research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The population and sample are all final semester (8) students as many as 27 people who have carried out field practice for 5 months from March 2021 to July 2021. This research data consists of primary data obtained directly from respondents in the form of a questionnaire (measuring Affective and psychomotor) and tests in the form of statements (cognitive). Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis with percentage calculations. The results showed that Ability was in the high category (79%), Skill was in the very high category (88%) and Demeanor (attitude) was in the high category (79%). The conclusion, based on the results of descriptive analysis and data classification, is the overall readiness of final semester students of the Faculty of Education and Psychology, Mandalika Education University to enter the world of work as a whole from the aspect of ability (Ability), skills (Skills) and attitudes (Demeanor) towards the field of production work. , service and managerial research results are in the very high category (85%). Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture and work ethics on the work productivity of private high school (SMA) teachers in Mataram City in the 2021/2022 academic year. This research was conducted in the odd semester period of the 2021/2022 academic year. The research method used is a survey. The research population is all teachers in private high schools in the city of Mataram. Respondents were selected by simple random sampling technique totaling 125 teachers. The results of the study, based on the analysis obtained data that; 1) The results of a simple correlation analysis obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.575 and a path coefficient value of 0.422. This value indicates that organizational culture has a strong effect on teacher productivity; 2) The results of a simple correlation analysis between work ethics and teacher productivity obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.541 and a path coefficient value of 0.363. In conclusion, based on the results of research and data analysis, it shows that work ethic on teacher productivity has a strong effect.
