Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji eksistensi dan peran adat dalam kehidupan masyarakat Suku Lampung Sai Batin di tengah arus modernisasi. Masyarakat Suku Lampung Sai Batin memiliki tradisi adat yang kaya, yang mencakup sistem kekerabatan, struktur sosial, serta norma-norma kehidupan yang telah diwariskan turun temurun. Namun, di era globalisasi dan modernisasi, nilai-nilai adat ini menghadapi berbagai tantangan yang mengancam kelestariannya. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana masyarakat Sai Batin beradaptasi dengan perubahan zaman tanpa kehilangan identitas budaya mereka. Fokus utama dalam penelitian ini adalah peran adat dalam menjaga solidaritas sosial, mengatur kehidupan bermasyarakat, serta memediasi hubungan antara individu dengan komunitas dan alam sekitar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun modernisasi telah membawa pengaruh terhadap pola hidup masyarakat Sai Batin, nilai-nilai adat tetap memegang peranan penting dalam menjaga keseimbangan sosial dan budaya. Adat menjadi landasan dalam penyelesaian masalah sosial, pengaturan kehidupan keluarga, dan menjaga keberlanjutan hubungan dengan alam. Namun, beberapa aspek adat, seperti upacara adat dan sistem kekerabatan, mulai mengalami perubahan seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi dan perubahan sosial ekonomi. This research aims to examine the existence and role of customs in the life of the Lampung Sai Batin Tribe in the midst of modernization. The Lampung Sai Batin Tribe has a rich customary tradition, which includes a kinship system, social structure, and life norms that have been passed down from generation to generation. However, in the era of globalization and modernization, these traditional values face various challenges that threaten their sustainability. Through a qualitative approach, this research explores how the Sai Batin people adapt to the changing times without losing their cultural identity. The main focus in this study is the role of customary in maintaining social solidarity, regulating community life, and mediating the relationship between individuals and the community and the surrounding nature. The results of the study show that although modernization has brought an influence on the lifestyle of the Sai Batin people, traditional values still play an important role in maintaining social and cultural balance. Customs are the foundation for solving social problems, regulating family life, and maintaining a sustainable relationship with nature. However, some aspects of customs, such as traditional ceremonies and kinship systems, began to undergo changes along with technological developments and socio-economic changes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji dinamika penggunaan Bahasa Lampung dalam keluarga di Kota Bandar Lampung, khususnya dalam konteks pergeseran antar-generasi. Bahasa Lampung, sebagai simbol identitas budaya, menghadapi tantangan besar akibat dominasi Bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa asing yang dipicu oleh globalisasi, modernisasi, dan urbanisasi. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi pustaka, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa generasi muda cenderung lebih akrab dengan Bahasa Indonesia, sedangkan penggunaan Bahasa Lampung terbatas pada konteks tertentu, seperti acara adat atau komunikasi dengan generasi tua. Faktor-faktor seperti perubahan persepsi terhadap Bahasa Lampung, kebijakan pendidikan, dan pengaruh teknologi serta media turut mempercepat pergeseran ini. Untuk melestarikan Bahasa Lampung, diperlukan sinergi antara keluarga, lembaga pendidikan, pemerintah, dan komunitas budaya melalui pendidikan formal, pelatihan guru, pemanfaatan teknologi digital, serta penguatan peran keluarga. Upaya ini bertujuan menjaga eksistensi Bahasa Lampung sebagai warisan budaya yang harus diteruskan kepada generasi mendatang. This research examines the dynamics of Lampung language use in families in Bandar Lampung City, especially in the context of intergenerational shifts. Lampung language, as a symbol of cultural identity, faces major challenges due to the dominance of Indonesian and foreign languages ​​triggered by globalization, modernization and urbanization. Using qualitative methods with literature study, this research found that the younger generation tends to be more familiar with Indonesian, while the use of Lampung is limited to certain contexts, such as traditional events or communication with the older generation. Factors such as changing perceptions of the Lampung language, less supportive education policies, and the influence of technology and media have also accelerated this shift. To preserve the Lampung language, synergy is needed between families, educational institutions, government and cultural communities through formal education, teacher training, use of digital technology and strengthening the role of the family. This effort aims to maintain the existence of the Lampung language as a cultural heritage that must be passed on to future generations.

Abstract

Early childhood cognitive development encompasses thinking, remembering, imagining, and problem-solving, which require stimulation through learning media. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of tangram media in developing the cognitive abilities of children aged 4–5 years through exercises that involve identifying and arranging tangram shapes from basic geometric blocks to form new shapes. The observational results revealed that children aged 4-5 years have difficulties; their cognitive development remains limited. 16 of 22 children have not demonstrated the ability to arrange and name geometric blocks and to compare their similarities and differences. This study was conducted at RA Takrimah Banda Aceh. This study employed a quantitative pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest format. Purposive sampling was used, and of the 43 students in the population, 22 from class A2 were selected as the sample. Data collection methods include observation and documentation. Based on the results of the Normality Test, after ensuring that the data is normally distributed, the t-count value (19.439) > t-table (1.721) and sig (2-tailed) 0.001 < 0.05 obtained from the data analysis process indicate that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Based on the research findings, Tangram Media is a viable alternative to traditional methods for developing early childhood cognitive abilities.

Abstract

This study was motivated by persistent challenges in early childhood English vocabulary acquisition, wherein conventional pedagogical tools remain widely used and frequently result in suboptimal learning outcomes. A preliminary problem analysis revealed that limited media diversity and minimal integration of digital technologies contribute to low learner engagement. A subsequent needs assessment further underscored the demand for visual, interactive learning media tailored to the developmental characteristics of early childhood learners. Market analysis indicated a notable scarcity of Augmented Reality (AR)-based flashcard media specifically designed for English vocabulary instruction at the early childhood education level. In response to these identified gaps, this research aimed to develop and evaluate the feasibility of AR-based flashcard learning media for early childhood English vocabulary acquisition. Employing a Research and Development (R&D) methodology structured around the ADDIE model, the study involved 16 children from Group TK B at a PAUD in Nagan Raya. Evaluation results demonstrated high feasibility, with validation scores from media experts (97.5%) and material experts (100%) exceeding the positive response rates from children, which ranged from 91.7% to 100%. All measured metrics fell within the "very feasible" category. Implementation challenges included unstable internet connectivity, prolonged AR scanning durations, and a shortage of supporting devices. Notwithstanding these limitations, the findings conclude that Augmented Reality-based flashcards constitute a highly viable and effective medium for introducing English vocabulary to young learners.

Abstract

Induction furnace is a metal melting furnace that uses heater. The high temperatures can cause work accidents if not carefully. The cause of work accidents, especially machines is had mistake when initially machine designed. An alternative solution is to make improvements the machine. The researcher made a robot arm design that functions to transfer melting products and reduce work accidents like being exposed to melted metal. The researcher’s purpose is to analyze the design static of robot arm as modification induction melting furnace machine. The method is to study previous research literature related to static simulation. Researchers use the SolidWork premium 2018 software which consists of stress (von mises), displacement, and FOS (factor of safety) calculations. Based on the static simulation results, it can be concluded that the highest values ​​of simulated stress (von mises) at 5N, 10N, and 15N loads were 13.926Mpa, 27.728Mpa, and 41.531Mpa which categorized as feasible because they were below yield strength value of 64.205Mpa. Simulation displacement, the design experienced the most significant deformation at 15N load with value of 0.337 mm. The FOS (factor of safety) value each loading were 4.610; 2.315; and 1.474 which fulfills the static load safety requirement 1.25.

Abstract

Tax literacy plays a strategic role in shaping taxpayer compliance behavior, particularly in areas with high economic complexity such as South Tangerang City. This study uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to analyze the relationship between tax literacy and taxpayer compliance, based on eight primary studies and twenty-six supporting references focused on the South Tangerang context. Regional tax realization data from 2021 to 2024, sourced from the South Tangerang City Statistics Agency (BPS), serves as empirical evidence to support the findings. The literature synthesis consistently shows that tax literacy, which encompasses a substantive understanding of tax regulations, digital literacy in using the e-filing system, and awareness of tax obligations as citizens, has a positive and significant impact on taxpayer compliance. This finding applies to individual taxpayers, corporate taxpayers, and MSMEs in South Tangerang City. The growth in regional tax realization from IDR 1.52 trillion in 2021 to IDR 2.09 trillion in 2024 reflects an improving compliance trend. However, a gap remains between potential and realization, indicating the need for a more structured tax education program. This study concludes that improving tax literacy through accessible, digital-based education should be a policy priority for the South Tangerang City Government.
