Abstract

This study explores the relationship between nomophobia and boredom intolerance among Generation Z Muslim students who are active social media users. The increasing prevalence of smartphone dependency has been linked to anxiety disorders such as nomophobia while also exacerbating the inability to tolerate boredom, particularly in digital contexts. This study used a quantitative method with a survey approach, utilizing the Nomophobia Questionnaire (NMP-Q) and the Boredom Proneness Scale (BPS) to measure these variables among 47 randomly selected participants. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression, revealing a significant positive correlation between nomophobia and boredom intolerance: as nomophobia levels increased, tolerance for boredom decreased. This research highlights the growing concern about smartphone overreliance and its psychological effects on Generation Z. Given the crucial role of social media in the daily lives of these students, understanding the psychological dynamics at play offers insights into developing targeted interventions to reduce smartphone dependence and improve emotional regulation. The findings contribute to the broader discourse on mental health in the digital age, emphasizing the importance of fostering greater awareness of the psychological risks associated with excessive smartphone use and suggesting strategies for enhancing students' emotional resilience. Future research should investigate the cultural and social factors influencing these behaviors further to develop more effective interventions.

Abstract

Pendampingan teknik dasar pelatihan badminton di Desa Karangsari, Kecamatan Sapuran, Kabupaten Wonosobo pada 28-29 Januari 2025, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dasar bermain badminton bagi pemuda setempat melalui pendekatan partisipatif berbasis pemberdayaan komunitas. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya akses pelatihan dan pendampingan teknis di daerah tersebut, meskipun memiliki potensi besar dalam pengembangan olahraga badminton. Program ini menggunakan metode Participatory Community Development (PCD), yang melibatkan serangkaian tahapan seperti observasi lapangan, dialog interaktif dengan masyarakat, serta pelaksanaan pelatihan intensif yang mencakup teknik grip (pegangan raket), footwork (pola pergerakan), dan stroke (pukulan). Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam penguasaan teknik dasar badminton, yang sebelumnya masih terbatas di kalangan peserta. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan motivasi dan minat pemuda terhadap olahraga, ditandai dengan antusiasme dalam sesi latihan serta inisiatif untuk membentuk komunitas olahraga badminton di tingkat desa. Program ini tidak hanya berkontribusi pada aspek teknis olahraga, tetapi juga dalam pembentukan karakter, disiplin, dan kerja sama tim. Dengan adanya dukungan dari pemerintah desa dan komunitas lokal, keberlanjutan program ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat ekosistem pembinaan olahraga di tingkat lokal serta membuka peluang bagi generasi muda untuk berkembang dalam dunia olahraga, khususnya badminton.

Abstract

Islamic-based learning environments play a crucial role in developing children's multiple intelligences by integrating Islamic values ​​in physical, social, and spiritual aspects. This study examines the correlation between Islamic learning environments and the development of children's multiple intelligences based on Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences. Using a qualitative approach with a literature review method, this study analyzed various academic sources that discuss Islamic educational environments and their influence on children's cognitive, social, and emotional aspects. The results of the study indicate that Islamic learning environments that emphasize the principles of tauhid, tarbiyah, adab, ta'lim, and fitrah are able to create a conducive atmosphere to optimize various intelligences, including linguistic, logical-mathematical, visual-spatial, musical, kinesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalistic. Educational approaches such as memorizing the Qur'an, discussion-based learning, and integrating science and Islam have proven effective in increasing children's intelligence potential. In addition, the application of adab in social interactions and the formation of Islamic character contribute to increasing interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence.In the era of globalization and digitalization, the challenge of maintaining a balance between tradition and modernity is important. Therefore, this study highlights the urgency of utilizing technology that remains in line with Islamic values ​​to enrich the learning experience. The implications of this study provide insight for educators, parents, and policy makers in designing a holistic educational environment, not only academically oriented, but also forming Islamic character and improving children's intelligence as a whole.

Abstract

The development of technology in the digital era has brought significant changes to human life. However, the rapid advancement of technology that is not aligned with knowledge and the values of Islamic teachings can have a negative impact on society. This issue becomes a concern and challenge in maintaining ethics in the digital era. Method in this researcg use the literature by article or paper from journal, digital publication by search/browse in the searching application. This article discusses the importance of building a morally upright digital society, with a focus on ethics in the use of technology, particularly smartphones. The article presents several efforts that can be implemented to build a morally upright digital society, enabling people to face the digital era equipped with both knowledge and the ethical values taught in Islam. The results of the resaerch show that morality, especially for a Muslim, is how he can position himself in relation to God, society and the surrounding environment.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of an Islamic psychospiritual approach within mindfulness programs to enhance teachers' emotional intelligence. Through a systematic literature review (SLR) complemented by bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer, this research evaluates 43 selected studies published between 2020 and 2025 that integrate elements such as muraqabah, muhasabah, and tazkiyatun nafs within mindfulness frameworks. Findings indicate that such integration significantly enhances self-awareness, emotion regulation, and empathy, particularly among teachers with high religiosity. Compared to secular-based programs, the Islamic psychospiritual mindfulness approach demonstrated a higher effect size (0.58), better cost-efficiency, and stronger contextual relevance in Muslim communities. The study concludes that this integrated approach provides a spiritually congruent and pedagogically effective model for emotional intelligence development, offering valuable contributions to the fields of educational psychology and Islamic education

Abstract

The current study addresses the limitations of contemporary educational frameworks that often compartmentalize cognitive, emotional, and spiritual domains, thereby hindering holistic student development. This study employed a qualitative methodology using a systematic literature review approach. Data were sourced from scholarly articles, neuroscience textbooks, and educational policy documents published between 2020–2025. Document analysis matrices and content analysis protocols were utilized to extract and synthesize conceptual frameworks. The validity of findings was ensured through triangulation, peer reviews, reflexive journaling, and audit trails, implemented across six systematic research stages. Findings reveal that integrating neurocognitive strategies with spiritual practices fosters synergistic brain changes. These include neuroplastic modifications in the prefrontal cortex and limbic system, improving executive functions and emotion regulation. Integrating transcendental meaning-making and attentional control significantly boosts information processing and emotional resilience in learning environments. The implications of this research extend to educational policy, curriculum design, and teacher training, offering a scientific and spiritual synthesis that enriches both pedagogical theory and practice. This model proposes a developmental framework for implementing tailored interventions from early childhood through adulthood, supporting lifelong cognitive-emotional growth grounded in spiritual values.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and synthesize various results of previous research regarding the influence of the inquiry learning model on students' critical thinking abilities, especially in madrasas, through a systematic literature review (SLR) approach. This study identified various factors that influence the effectiveness of the inquiry learning model such as the role of the facilitator, learning structure, and student characteristics. by systematically reviewing scientific articles published in the last 10 years from accredited journals using a selection process with predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria. The research results show that the implementation of inquiry learning has a positive and significant influence on improving students' critical thinking skills through an approach that encourages students' exploration, analysis and reflection. Apart from that, this model has also been proven to be effective in various levels of education and subjects. In conclusion, inquiry learning is a relevant strategy and has the potential to be further developed to support strengthening students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This research looks at the psycho-philosophical framework of the Tazkiyatun Nafs idea and how it affects college students' growth in spiritual-emotional intelligence. The study intends to: (1) investigate Tazkiyatun Nafs' ontological structure in the context of contemporary educational psychology; (2) investigate the epistemological aspects of Tazkiyatun Nafs in the development of spiritual-emotional intelligence; and (3) develop a conceptual model of the integration of Tazkiyatun Nafs within the framework of developing spiritual-emotional intelligence through a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical literature study method. The study's findings show that, in contrast to the traditional educational psychology method, which tends to isolate the cognitive, emotive, and spiritual elements of college students' growth, the ontological framework of Tazkiyatun Nafs provides an integrated picture of these aspects. The epistemological aspects of Tazkiyatun Nafs, according to this study, also include the process of knowledge acquisition that entails awareness change and the growth of the soul's perceptual powers, which combine experiential, intuitive, and intellectual knowledge. Four primary pedagogical techniques were found in this study's axiological aspect for use in higher education curricula: guided contemplative practice, transformational dialogic learning, interdisciplinary knowledge integration, and value-based critical reflection. These results offer a theoretical foundation for the creation of a more integrative and comprehensive educational paradigm that may accommodate students' multifaceted requirements in the contemporary period.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui lebih dalam kenakalan-kenakalan apa saja yang terjadi di pesantren, dan hasil penemuan penelitian dapat mengklasifikasikan jenis-jenis kenakalan remaja kaum santri di pesantren. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kenakalan remaja terjadi di manapun dan dalam situasi apapun, termasuk di ranah pesantren. Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku-perilaku santri terkadang nganeh-nganehi dan bisa dikatakan menyimpang dari aturan kepesantrenan. Hal yang demikian adalah fakta dan nyata. Oleh karena itu, dalam hal ini peneliti berupaya untuk menelaah lebih dalam lagi perihal kenakalan-kenakalan remaja santri yang terjadi di pesantren. Tujuan dari literatur dan sifat dari penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan eksploratif yang mengkaji secara mendalam untuk menemukan hal-hal baru, yang kaitannya dengan kenakalan remaja kaum santri di pesantren. Sedangkan analisisnya menggunakan studi content analysis yakni penelitian yang bersifat pembahasan mendalam terhadap isi suatu infomasi tertulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyebab kenakalan-kenakalan remaja santri antara lain dilihat dari individu santri, lingkungan pesantren dan lingkungan relationship antar santri. Adapun tingkatan kenakalan remaja santri terbagi menjadi tiga yakni kenakalan tingkat bawah, sedang dan tinggi. Sedangkan penanganan yang dilakukan pesantren untuk mengatasi kenakalan remaja santri menggunakan pendekatan antara lain pendekatan hati ke hati (touching heart), pendekatan spiritual-religius, sampai pada pendekatan yang berbasis kedisiplinan yang sifatnya tegas sesuai aturan yang berlaku.

Abstract

Grit is the ability of individuals to exhibit commitment, persistence in effort, as well as passion to attain long-term objectives. The research on grit in Indonesia has remained limited to students, and the investigation among teachers was popularized by Baraquia (2020). This aligns with the emergence of performance appraisal systems for teachers in the Philippines to support the continuous development of the teaching profession. Therefore, this research aimed to measure the validation of the Teacher's Grit Scale (TGS) in the Indonesian version. The adaptation process was carried out following the guidelines from the International Test Commission (ITC) using the Confirmating Factor Analysis (CFA) method. CFA is the most reliable analytical method so far in testing the construct validity of a measurement tool in the fields of psychology, education, and social sciences. Data were collected from 301 teachers of children with special needs (CSN) selected by accidental sampling based on CFA test analysis using JASP. The results showed that the model fulfilled the criteria for fit, namely RMSEA .076, CFI .929, TLI .913, RNI .929, GFI .995, and SRMR .049. Therefore, TGS-Indonesia was valid and reliable for measuring grit in CSN teachers, and the discussion and implications were presented in the subsequent research.
