Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is an educational policy innovation in Indonesia aimed at improving the quality of learning through a more flexible, student-centered, and responsive approach to contemporary needs. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SMP Negeri 8 Banjarmasin, which has gradually adopted the curriculum since 2023. The focus of the research includes the strategies of the principal, teacher readiness, implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5), and the application of differentiated learning. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted inductively using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, which includes data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study are expected to provide a real-world picture of the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at the school level and serve as a reference for other schools implementing similar reforms.

Abstract

Human resource development in the education sector is a strategic effort to improve the quality and competitiveness of education. This study analyzes educational policies related to the development program for ustadz at Pondok Pesantren Raudlatut Tholibin, Batu Tunau Village, using a qualitative approach and case study method. The findings reveal that the ustadz development program—covering pedagogical training, enhancement of religious competence, and character building—significantly contributes to the quality of teaching and student character formation. The policy also strengthens the role of pesantren in producing excellent human resources grounded in Islamic values. Furthermore, the evaluation and implementation of the program are conducted in a more efficient and objective manner, promoting sustainable improvement. This study recommends strengthening education policies based on local needs and fostering synergy among the government, pesantren, and community in supporting educational human resource development.

Abstract

This study critically examines the impact of digitalization in education on students’ readiness to face the transformative demands of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, with specific attention to the Indonesian context. Although international research highlights the role of digital tools in enhancing 21st-century skills, studies in Indonesia remain scarce and often overlook how digital education directly influences student preparedness for Industry 4.0. This gap is particularly urgent given the persistent digital divide, uneven teacher digital competence, and disparities in access to technological infrastructure across Indonesian schools. Adopting a qualitative design, the research employs a triangulation method involving in-depth interviews with five teachers and two students, participatory observation, and document analysis at SMPN 1 Kotabaru. The findings reveal that digitalization significantly enhances student readiness by fostering interactive, personalized, and flexible learning environments. The use of e-learning platforms, AI-based applications, and immersive technologies such as VR/AR not only improves student engagement and self-paced learning but also develops critical competencies, including creativity, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking.This research contributes to filling the gap in Indonesian educational studies by demonstrating how digital transformation can align classroom practices with the competency demands of Industry 4.0. The study provides strategic recommendations for policymakers and educators to strengthen digital infrastructure, improve teacher capacity, and promote inclusive access to technology in order to optimize student readiness for the future world of work.

Abstract

This study explores the dynamic synergy between strategic management and Augmented Reality (AR) technology in transforming the education system in the digital era. Through a comprehensive literature review, the research reveals the proven effectiveness of AR in increasing student engagement by up to 70% and enhancing conceptual understanding through immersive learning experiences. However, the adoption of AR in Indonesia faces complex challenges such as digital infrastructure gaps, policy fragmentation, and limited teacher technological readiness. Strategic management acts as a catalyst through visionary planning, resource allocation, and continuous evaluation. Key strategies include curriculum integration, teacher training, infrastructure investment, and multi-stakeholder collaboration.

Abstract

Permasalahan penelitian ini yaitu keterlambatan perkembangan motorik halus di TK Negeri Pembina Banjarmasin Timur yang menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar anak kelompok A mengalami kesulitan dalam melakukan aktivitas yang memerlukan koordinasi mata dan tangan dalam melakukan gerakan yang sulit. Dampaknya, anak-anak cenderung pasif dalam proses pembelajaran dan menunjukkan hasil yang belum optimal pada indikator perkembangan motorik halus. Akibat dari kondisi tersebut, anak berpotensi mengalami hambatan dalam kemandirian, kesiapan belajar, dan perkembangan kepercayaan diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan motorik halus anak melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) dan Direct Instruction dengan media kain blacu dalam kegiatan membatik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam empat siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 14 anak kelompok A. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan dokumentasi, kemudian analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif analisis serta cresss tabulasi yang di jabarkan dalam bentuk tabel, grafik, interpretasi melalui presentase dan di sajikan indikator keberhasilan perkembangan yang di tetapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada aktivitas guru dan anak, serta perkembangan kemampuan motorik halus anak. Aktivitas guru meningkat dari kategori “Baik” menjadi “Sangat Baik”, dan aktivitas anak dari “Cukup Aktif” menjadi “Sangat Aktif”. Selain itu, persentase anak yang mencapai kategori “Berkembang Sangat Baik” meningkat menjadi 93% pada siklus akhir. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan instruksi langsung, didukung oleh media yang kontekstual, mampu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan keterampilan motorik halus anak usia dini secara efektif.

Abstract

Permasalahan penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya kemampuan motorik halus anak.. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru, aktivitas anak dan menganalisis hasil perkembangan motorik halus anak dalam kegiatan menggunting dan menempel. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif. setting penelitian pada anak kelompok B TK Islam Bakti 1 Banjarmasin yang berjumlah 16 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara dan penilaian pada kegiatan menggunting dan menempel. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan cross tab dan train analisis berdasarkan data-data kualitatif dan kuantitatif yang diperoleh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru pada pertemuan 1 mendapatkan skor 32 kategori “Baik” dan terus meningkat hingga pertemuan 4 mendapatkan skor 37 kategori “Sangat Baik”. Aktivitas anak pada pertemuan 1 mendapat persentase 25% kategori “Kurang Aktif” dan terus meningkat hingga pertemuan 4 mencapai 94% kategori “Sangat Aktif”. Hasil perkembangan motorik halus pada pertemuan 1 mendapat persentase 25% dan terus meningkat hingga pertemuan 4 mencapai 94% anak berhasil berkembang kategori “Berkembang Sangat Baik”. hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model Project Based Learning, Direct Instruction dan Media Bahan Alam dapat mengembangkan aktivitas guru, aktivitas anak dan hasil perkembangan motorik halus. Disarankan bagi kepala sekolah, guru dan penelitian berikutnya dapat menjadi bahan informasi untuk memperbaiki pembelajaran pada anak.

Abstract

Entering the era of Society 5.0, the world of education is required to be able to integrate technological advances with humanistic values ​​in order to create a more inclusive and adaptive learning ecosystem. This study aims to explore the principal's leadership strategy in developing a humanistic educational approach integrated with digital technology at SMPN 4 Bataguh. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the principal plays a central role as an agent of change, who not only directs the use of technology in learning, but also ensures the integration of ethical values, empathy, and character in every aspect of teaching and learning activities. The strategies implemented include developing a digital-based leadership vision, strengthening digital culture in schools, and ongoing training for teachers. These findings confirm that visionary and adaptive leadership is key to building education that is relevant to the demands of the 21st century and remains based on human values.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru, aktivitas anak, dan menganalisis hasil perkembangan kognitif anak dalam mencocokkan bilangan dengan lambang bilangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas, yang dilaksanakan dalam 4 kali pertemuan, setting penelitian pada anak kelompok B1 yang berjumlah 16 anak. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, wawancara dan penilaian keterampilan aspek kognitif. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik deskriptif analisis serta cross tabulasi yang dijabarkan dengan tabel, grafik, interpretasi melalui persentase dan sajikan dengan indikator keberhasilan perkembangan yang ditetapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) aktivitas guru mendapatkan skor 27 kategori “Sangat Baik”. (2) Aktivitas anak mendapat presentase 100% kategori “Sangat Aktif”. (3) Hasil perkembangan Kognitif mencapai presentase 100% anak berhasil berkembang dengan kategori “Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH) dan Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB). Disarankan bagi kepala sekolah, guru, dan penelitian selanjutnya dapat menjadi bahan referensi dalam melaksanakan penelitian menggunakan model pembelajaran yang dapat mengembangkan aspek kognitif anak.

Abstract

The implementation of the Independent Curriculum requires strong collaboration between education stakeholders, including the principal as a learning leader. This study aims to analyze the role of the Principal Working Group (K3S) in making the Independent Curriculum policy a success in Public Elementary Schools in Banjar Regency. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study type. Primary data was obtained through interviews, participatory observations, and documentation of K3S activities, which were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that K3S plays an active role as a coordination forum, organizer of independent training, and a liaison between schools and the education office, although it still faces challenges such as competency gaps and limited external training. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of institutional strengthening and systematic assistance to K3S in order to encourage the effectiveness of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum evenly at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Teachers have a strategic role in improving the quality of education, not only as implementers of learning, but also as drivers in the management and development of educational institutions. This study aims to explore the form of teacher empowerment in managing school development at SMAN 1 Panyipatan. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that teachers were empowered through active involvement in the School Development Team, internal training, and the implementation of strategic school programs. This empowerment contributed to increased motivation, sense of ownership, and overall school performance.
