Abstract

This study discusses the level of financial reporting based on SAK EMKM (Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small and Medium Entities) focusing on the city of Palopo, through an analysis of human resource quality (HR) factors and company size with company size as a strengthening factor between the two. This study aims to analyze the influence of human resource quality and company size on the preparation of financial reports based on SAK EMKM (Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small and Medium Entities) among MSMEs in the city of Palopo, with the level of capital as a moderating variable. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative method, data collected through questionnaires and interviews with MSME owners who already have a Brand in the city of Palopo. After that, the data was analyzed using the SEM method supported by the SPSS application to determine the variables that significantly influence the recording of financial reports based on SAK EMKM. The results of the study indicate that the quality of human resources has a significant effect on the preparation of financial reports based on SAK EMKM. While company size does not affect the recording of financial reports based on SAK EMKM. In addition, this study also found that the level of capital does not moderate the relationship between the quality of human resources and company size on the recording of financial reports based on SAK EMKM in Palopo City.

Abstract

In their business activities, many people are still usurious because people borrow money from loan sharks. Islamic pawnshop institutions should be more effective in introducing Islamic pawnshops to the public so that the objectives of the pawnshop can be carried out properly in accordance with the pawnshop motto “solving problems without problems”. So this study aims to determine the effect of Sharia Pawn Financing (Rahn) on increasing customer income. This research will be conducted at PT Pegadaian (Persero) Tawali Sharia Pawnshop Unit, Wera District, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. This research uses Qualitative Research with a Case Study Approach. Data collection techniques are observation, interview and documentation. Data Analysis Techniques namely Data Reduction, Data Presentation and Conclusion Drawing. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that sharia pawn financing (rahn) has a significant role in helping customers obtain cash quickly, especially for those who need business capital in a short time. Rahn has proven to be one of the financial instruments that is practical and easily accessible to the public, especially those in the micro and small business sectors.

Abstract

Pendidikan abad ke-21 menuntut penerapan kurikulum dan pembelajaran yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, dan kebutuhan kontekstual peserta didik. Salah satu pendekatan yang relevan dengan tuntutan tersebut adalah STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Namun, selama ini STEM sering dipahami hanya untuk bidang eksakta, padahal prinsip integratifnya juga dapat diterapkan dalam bidang non-eksakta seperti sejarah, bahasa, dan ilmu sosial. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi STEM guru melalui pelatihan pemanfaatan Candi Muaro Jambi sebagai sumber belajar berbasis potensi lokal. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di SMAN 2 Tanjung Jabung Barat dengan melibatkan 32 guru dari berbagai mata pelajaran. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi workshop, diskusi lintas bidang, dan pendampingan dalam perancangan pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project-Based Learning). Guru dilatih untuk mengintegrasikan konsep sains, teknologi, rekayasa, dan matematika dengan nilai budaya dan sejarah yang terkandung dalam Candi Muaro Jambi sebagai laboratorium belajar terbuka. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap penerapan literasi STEM lintas disiplin, baik eksakta maupun non-eksakta. Guru berhasil merancang model pembelajaran adaptif yang menghubungkan konsep ilmiah dengan konteks budaya lokal, seperti proyek analisis arsitektur candi, pelestarian material bangunan, serta penulisan reflektif sejarah peradaban.

Abstract

The effect of implementing the KWL (Know, Want, Learned) strategy on the reading comprehension skills of fifth-grade students of Cambajawaya State Elementary School. Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. Supervisor 1 Syekh Adi Wijaya Latief, and Supervisor II Andi Paida. The problem in this study is how to apply the KWL (Know, Want, Learned) strategy to the reading comprehension skills of fifth-grade students of Cambajawaya State Elementary School, Gowa Regency. This study aims to determine the effect of the KWL (Know, Want, Learned) strategy on the reading comprehension skills of fifth-grade students of Cambajawaya State Elementary School. Data were obtained through reading comprehension tests conducted before (pretest) and after (posttest) the implementation of the KWL strategy. The results of data analysis showed that the average pretest score was 36.33 with a standard deviation of 9.726, while the average posttest score increased to 85.83 with a standard deviation of 6.410. This improvement indicates a significant change in students' reading comprehension skills after the implementation of the KWL strategy. After analyzing the data, the author found that students' learning outcomes before the implementation of the KWL strategy were relatively low, as indicated by the average pretest score of 36.33. Furthermore, after the implementation of the KWL strategy, the average posttest score increased to 85.83. This indicates a significant increase in students' reading comprehension skills after the treatment was given. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of the KWL strategy has an effect on improving the reading comprehension skills of students at Cambajawaya State Elementary School.

Abstract

Nur Rahmadhani Syam, 2026. The Application of the Project-Based Learning Model on IPAS Learning Outcomes Among Fifth-Grade Students at SD Inpres Saluttowa, Tinggimoncong Subdistrict, Gowa Regency. Thesis. Department of Elementary School Teacher Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. Advisors: Nurlina and Nurfadillah. This study aims to describe the improvement in the IPAS learning outcomes of fifth-grade students through the implementation of the Project-Based Learning model. This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in the IPAS subject. The study used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design and a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were all 24 fifth-grade students at SD Inpres Saluttowa. Data collection was conducted through learning achievement tests before the treatment (pretest) and after the treatment (posttest). The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and the N-Gain test. The results of the study indicate that there was an improvement in students’ IPAS learning outcomes following the implementation of the Project-Based Learning model. The students’ average score on the pretest, which was 60.75, increased to 89.33 on the posttest. All students achieved scores above the established Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP), which is 75. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Project-Based Learning model is effective in improving the IPAS learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Inpres Saluttowa in Tinggimoncong Subdistrict, Gowa Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of students before and after the application of a simple water wheel media and to analyze the improvement in learning outcomes in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject of grade VI of SDN No. 228 Tunreng Tellue. The background of this study is based on the low learning outcomes of students caused by conventional learning and the lack of use of interesting learning media. Therefore, learning innovations are needed that can increase student engagement and understanding. The type of research used is a pre-experiment with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research subjects were 16 students who were taken using a saturated sampling technique. The instruments used were learning outcome tests, observation sheets, and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to see the picture of learning outcomes and the N-Gain test to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes. The results showed that the average pretest score of 73.75 was in the medium category, which indicates that students' initial abilities were still not optimal. After the application of the simple water wheel media, the average posttest score increased to 88.62 and was in the high category. The N-Gain test results showed an average score of 0.58, which falls into the moderate category, indicating an improvement in learning outcomes after the implementation of the media. Furthermore, the distribution of scores showed an increase in the number of students in the high and very high categories, with no more students in the low and very low categories after implementation.

Abstract

The Appalili ritual in the Gaukang Karaeng Galesong ceremony in Takalar has social and spiritual values that serve to strengthen social cohesion and represent the relationship between customs and religion in the lives of the local Muslim community. However, the dynamics of modernity and globalization present challenges in the form of shifts in the legitimacy of local traditions and increasing demands for normative evaluation from an Islamic legal perspective. This study aims to analyze the legitimacy of the Appalili' ritual through the al-‘urf approach as an instrument for assessing Islamic law on local cultural practices. The research problem focuses on the normative values contained in the Appalili’ ritual and its position in the al-'urf categorization within the framework of Islamic law. This study uses qualitative methods with a normative theological and sociological approach to bridge the normative analysis of Sharia and the socio-cultural reality of society. Data was obtained from traditional leaders, religious leaders, and community leaders through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed systematically through descriptive-analytical, reduction, presentation, and data verification stages. The results of the study show that the Appalili ritual is carried out through a series of symbolic processes that do not contain elements of shirk, superstition, or violations of the principles of tawhid, so that normatively it can be classified as al-'urf saḥīḥ which has legitimacy in Islamic law. The novelty of this research lies in the development of an al-‘urf analytical framework as a normative evaluative instrument for traditional rituals, which simultaneously integrates an Islamic legal approach and sociological analysis and offers a conceptual model that can be replicated in studies of Muslim traditions in various cultural contexts. The implications of this research contribute to strengthening the discourse of contextual Islamic law, broadening the understanding of the relationship between sharia and local culture, and providing a theoretical basis for the preservation of religious traditions in line with Islamic principles in plural Muslim societies.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the digital marketing strategy implemented by social media-based thrift businesses in Palu City in an effort to enhance business competitiveness in the creative economy era. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews with the business owners as the key informants. The research results indicate that thrift business actors in Palu City develop a digital marketing strategy that focuses on utilizing the Instagram, TikTok, and E-commerce platforms to reach a wider target market and create strong interaction with consumers. This strategy includes creating appealing and trendy visual content, conducting interactive live shopping, and optimizing e-commerce features for transaction convenience. Amidst the challenge of the stigma associated with second-hand products and fierce price competition, this digital marketing strategy is proven to create a competitive advantage through product differentiation (curated collections), building a unique brand image, and maintaining customer loyalty by forming an online community. Thus, the applied digital marketing strategy is proven to contribute to increasing the competitiveness of thrift businesses amidst the increasingly competitive fashion industry.
