Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of mathematical anxiety on the results of mathematical reasoning tests. This is motivated by the emergence of anxiety experienced by students when learning mathematics which affects the results of students' mathematical reasoning tests. The research method used in this research is a quantitative research method with the aim of testing a predetermined hypothesis and the data analysis technique used is an inferential statistical analysis technique with a simple linear regression test. The population of this study were 18 fifth grade students at SD 5 Mejobo, consisting of 11 boys and 7 girls. The data used is secondary data in the form of student anxiety questionnaire data and data from mathematical reasoning results. Class V anxiety is in the average category, the calculation results are included in the anxiety category. Mathematics anxiety has a negative effect on the results of fifth grade students' mathematical reasoning tests and the effect is 70.9%.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar dan keaktifan belajar siswa terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa kelas V SD N 2 Bulungkulon. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian expost facto dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas V SD N 2 Bulungkulon dengan jumlah sebanyak 18 orang. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh dari populasi sebanyak 18 siswa dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa angket motivasi belajar, angket keaktifan belajar, soal uraian kemampuan penalaran matematis, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganti. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar dan keaktifan belajar terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa kelas V SD N 2 Bulungkulon.

Abstract

Hasil studi internasional PISA pada tahun 2015, 2018, dan 2022 menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa Indonesia, khususnya pada muatan matematika, masih tergolong rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menilai kelayakan modul ajar berbasis ethnomathematics terintegrasi teknologi, yaitu EMASFALOKU (Elektronik Modul Matematika Materi Pecahan dengan Kearifan Lokal Kudus), dalam mendukung kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model ADDIE yang dibatasi pada tahap analisis, desain, dan pengembangan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dan dokumentasi, dengan instrumen berupa kuesioner penilaian kelayakan produk. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa EMASFALOKU memperoleh tingkat kelayakan sebesar 79,04% dengan kategori layak berdasarkan penilaian ahli media dan ahli materi. Temuan utama penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi ethnomathematics dan asesmen digital berbasis Quizizz menjadi kebaruan (novelty) dalam pembelajaran pecahan. Implikasinya, EMASFALOKU berpotensi menjadi sumber belajar inovatif untuk meningkatkan literasi numerasi siswa sekolah dasar. Ethnomatematic-based electronic modules as a media for developing students' numeracy literacy in elementary schools: feasibility analysis Results from the international PISA studies conducted in 2015, 2018, and 2022 indicate that Indonesian students’ numeracy literacy, particularly in mathematics, remains at a low level. This study aimed to develop and evaluate the feasibility of a technology-integrated ethnomathematics-based teaching module, namely EMASFALOKU (Electronic Mathematics Module on Fractions Based on the Local Wisdom of Kudus), to support elementary students’ numeracy literacy. The study employed a Research and Development approach using the ADDIE model, limited to the analysis, design, and development stages. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, with product feasibility assessed using expert validation instruments. Descriptive and quantitative analyses were applied to interpret the data. The results show that EMASFALOKU achieved a feasibility score of 79.04%, categorised as feasible, based on evaluations by media and subject-matter experts. The main finding highlights the novelty of integrating local ethnomathematical contexts with digital assessment through the Quizizz platform. This module has practical implications as an innovative learning resource to enhance numeracy literacy among elementary school students.

Abstract

Guru harus menguasai materi dan strategi pembelajaran untuk menarik minat siswa dalam belajar terutama pada pelajaran matematika. Pembelajaran matematika memerlukan media sebagai penyalur informasi kepada siswa agar tidak kesulitan memahami materi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa menggunakan media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Contoh media pembelajaran terkini adalah aplikasi android. Penelitian ini merupakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan R&D (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap Analyze (analisis), Design (desain), Development (pengembangan), Implementation (implementasi), dan Evaluate (evaluasi). Penelitian dilakukan dengan subjek berjumlah 18 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil uji hipotesis didapatkan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima dengan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,005, artinya ada perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa setelah penggunaan media serta terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah sebesar 0,4387 dengan kriteria peningkatan sedang. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran SILAW (Aplikasi Lama Waktu) layak digunakan pada siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar serta mampu meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah materi menghitung lama waktu suatu kejadian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas model Problem Based Learning dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis materi perkalian siswa kelas 2 SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif pre-eksperimental dengan desain one-group pre-test post-test. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 19 siswa kelas 2 SD Negeri 01 Wotan tahun ajaran 2024/2025 yang dipilih dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi Pre-test, Post-test, observasi,dan wawancara, dengan analissi data menggunakan Paired Samples T-Test dan N-Gain. penggunaan model PBL berbantuan MEDPEN terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada uji paired sample T-test memperoleh nilai sig.(2-tailed) = 0,000<0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata nilai kemampuan sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model PBL berbantuan MEDPEN. Selanjutnya hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa yang signifikan, dengan nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar dalam 0,560 yang masuk dalam kategori sedang. Penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa model PBL efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman matematika siswa. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan menggunakan sampel lebih besar serta mengekplorasi strategi inovatif lainnya dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is that during the learning process the teacher is not very aware of the learning style of each of his students. Based on the results of observations in the classroom when learning is taking place, it was found that when the teacher explained a material, there were students in grade III who did not pay attention to the teacher's explanation. The purpose of this study was to find out about the learning styles of grade III students through illustrated story pictures at SD 1 Padurenan Kudus. Learning styles are very necessary so that the teaching and learning process can be carried out, because learning style attitudes will help them achieve their goals faster. This study uses a narrative qualitative research type. The subjects used by the researcher were 6 using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman model which includes three stages: Data reduction, Data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study at SD 1 Padurenan Kudus showed that students' learning styles seen from illustrated story pictures with the category of visual learning styles showed that students tend to learn more easily when they see, the results of the pictures are neat and precise. Students in the auditory learning style category showed that students tend to listen very strongly, have strong storytelling skills, and do not like noise. Students in the kinesthetic learning style category showed that students tend to enjoy learning using body movements, or direct practice, like to try but are less neat. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that students' learning styles seen from the students' illustration story images are different. The learning styles carried out by students with visual, auditory, and kinesthetic categories are different. This research is expected to help teachers to apply various learning styles owned by each student. Therefore, teachers are strongly advised to always use visual media, such as picture stories in the learning process in order to adjust to the visual learning style, and must provide other learning methods that can facilitate auditory and kinesthetic learning styles.

Abstract

Mathematics is a science that is obtained through thinking and reasoning. However, Very often, elementary school students have difficulty understanding math lessons. Thus, Teachers must use creativity and imagination while using a range of instructional resources and media. Video learning is one example. The purpose of this study is to ascertain the effects of using video-based learning resources on the mathematical learning outcomes of students at SDN Undaan Kidul 3 Demak. Quantitative Pre-Experimental was used with the design of one pre-test and post-test group, and was carried out on grade IV students at SDN Undaan Kidul 3 Demak, with a sample consisting of 15 students, which included 5 female students and 10 male students.  The data instruments used include tests (pretest and postest), questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study show that the use of video-based learning media improves students' learning ability, this is characterized by an increase in pretest and posttest to a higher level from the average score of 66 to 76.67. Therefore, Using video-based learning resources is crucial for raising elementary school pupils' mathematics proficiency

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the discovery learning model assisted by PINTAR media (Papan Interaktif Bangun Datar) on the mathematical literacy skills of elementary school students in comparing the characteristics of plane shapes. The research used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method and a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of all fifth-grade students of SD 3 Gondosari. The sample included 11 students, consisting of 6 female and five male students, selected using a saturated sampling technique. The research instruments included pretest and posttest questions to measure students' mathematical literacy. Data analysis techniques used tests of normality, Paired Sample Test, and the N-Gain Test to determine the effectiveness of the discovery learning model assisted by PINTAR media (Papan Interaktif Bangun Datar) on mathematical literacy skills in comparing the characteristics of plane shapes. The results showed improved students' mathematical literacy skills after implementing the discovery learning model assisted by PINTAR media. This is evidenced by an increase in the average score from 45.36 to 67.36 after using PINTAR media. T Test showed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa sebagai acuan untuk melaksanakan dan memperbaiki konsep dan cara pengajaran dalam menyampaikan materi penalaran matematis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas 6 SD 7 Gondosari, Gebog, Kudus yang berjumlah 21 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes tertulis yang terdiri dari 5 soal uraian tentang materi statistika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata suatu kelas yaitu 62,1 dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa memiliki pemahaman yang berbeda-beda dalam menalar soal cerita sesuai dengan level kognitif siswa. Selain itu, pada suatu kelompok siswa, beberapa siswa akan langsung menemukan pola penyelesaian dan sebagian lagi akan menyelesaikan suatu soal tanpa pola namun dengan penalaran yang berbeda dari masing – masing siswa.

Abstract

The low understanding of the concept of multiplication in elementary school students is an important concern in learning mathematics. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of interactive snakes and ladders media with local wisdom Kudus through Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model in improving understanding of mathematics concepts, especially multiplication, in grade 3 students. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The study population was all grade 3 students who totaled 25 students, with a sample of 15 students selected through random sampling technique. The instruments used include questionnaires and observation sheets, while the data analysis technique uses statistical tests to compare pre-test and post-test scores. The results showed a significant increase in students' understanding of mathematics concepts, indicated by the difference in the average pre-test and post-test scores of 43.74 points. The significance test showed a p value <0.05, which means that the use of interactive snakes and ladders media is effective in improving student learning outcomes.
