Mathematical problem-solving ability is a critical 21st-century competency that needs to be developed from the early stages of education. However, field observations indicate that many elementary school students still struggle with solving problems related to fraction operations, especially when the problems are presented in contextual forms that require flexible application. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model in improving the mathematical problem-solving skills of fifth-grade students at SDN 6 Cendono Kudus. The method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design and a Nonequivalent Control Group Design approach. The instruments employed were pre-test and post-test assessments covering problem-solving indicators based on Polya’s steps. The analysis results show a significant increase in post-test scores in the class using the CTL model, with a significance value of 0.028 (< 0.05) and an average N-Gain score of 0.3880 (moderate category). These findings indicate that the CTL model is effective in enhancing students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities, particularly because this approach links the material to real-life contexts, making learning more meaningful and relevant. This study recommends the implementation of CTL as an alternative instructional model that fosters active student engagement and conceptual understanding in elementary school mathematics.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Keluba media based on Kudus local wisdom in improving the mathematical problem solving ability of elementary school students. Background This research is the low ability to solve the mathematical problem of grade IV students of SD Negeri 3 Ngembal Kulon. This study uses a quantitative approach with the pre-experimental method and one group pretest-posttest design. The population was all students of grade IV SD Negeri 3 Ngalambal Kulon. The research sample is all 4th grade students totaling 9 people. The instrument used was a pretest and posttest test in the form of mathematical story questions. The data were analyzed using a normality test, paired sample t-test, and ngain test. The results showed that the average pretest value of 48.22 increased to 93.56 in posttest. The paired sample t test shows a significance value of 0.001 <0.05, which means there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. The average value of gain is 0.8825> 0.76. These results indicate that the application of the PBL model assisted by the Kudus local wisdom-based media is effective in improving the ability to solve students' mathematical problems.

Tujuan penelitian ini yakni untuk mengetahui perbedaan rata-rata nilai pretest dan posttest sesudah dan sebelum penerapan model TGT berbantuan correct hanger terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa sekolah dasar. Model pembelajaran TGT dirancang untuk meningkatkan keaktifan siswa. Sementara, media correct hanger bertujuan agar peserta didik memahami konsep dengan baik. Pendekatan dari penelitian ini yakni kuantitatif dengan desain one grup pretest-posttes. Subjek penelitian ini yakni semua siswa kelas IV SD 3 Menawan dengan jumlah 19 siswa. This study aims to analyze the effect of mathematics learning anxiety on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 4 Karangbener. The population of the study consisted of all fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 4 Karangbener (14 students), with the sample selected through purposive sampling from the same population. The background of this study lies in the importance of problem-solving ability as a component of higher-order thinking skills and the significant role that anxiety can play as an affective factor potentially impeding the development of such abilities. This research employed a quantitative correlational approach using an ex post facto design. The instruments included a mathematics learning anxiety questionnaire and an essay test assessing problem-solving. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression with the aid of SPSS software. The results show that there is no significant effect of mathematics learning anxiety on students’ mathematical problem-solving ability (significance value = 0.966 > 0.05). These findings suggest that although students may experience anxiety during mathematics learning, it does not necessarily have a negative impact on their ability to solve problems. The study recommends that teachers continue to attend to affective aspects in learning and create a comfortable learning environment to optimally support students’ academic achievement.

The aim of this study is to determine whether the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is one of the strategies that can be used to improve elementary school student’s mathematical problem-solving abilities. The PBL approach combined with GeoFun media is considered effective in enhancing student's problem-solving skills in mathematics. This study employed a quantitative method with pre-test and post-test design involving fifth-grade student’s of SDN 3 Loram Wetan. A total of 21 student’s (comprising 10 boys and 11 girls) were selected as research subjects using a saturated sampling technique. Test were administeres before and after the data collection, The N-Gain score of -09242, wich is below 0.3, indicates a low level of improvement. However, the 2-tailed significance test result of 0.000 < 0.05 shows a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test score. Therefore, despite the statistical difference in scores, the use of the PBL model assisted by GeoFun has not yet proven effective in helping fifth0grade student’s at SDN 3 Loram Wetan solve mathematical problem.

Implementasi kurikulum merdeka seharusnya mengakomodir guru dan siswa bebas melaksanakan pembelajaran sesuai karakteristik sesuai koridor undang-undang yang berlaku, namun hal itu membuat sebagian guru mengalami kesulitan dalam implementasinya, diantaranya terkait pemenuhan kebutuhan media pembelajaran sesuai karkateristik siswa. Salah satu kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah pelatihan interaktif dan pendampingan pembuatan skenario pembelajaran berbasis lesson study guna menghasilkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis literasi yang mampu membantu guru dalam memaksimalkan pembelajaran deferensiasi. Kegiatan pengabdian IbM bertujuan memberikan pendampingan pembuatan skenario pembelajaran berbasis lesson study guna menghasilkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis literasi yang mampu membantu guru dalam memaksimalkan pembelajaran deferensiasi yang dimulai dengan 1) analisis kesulitan guru dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka, 2) pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis literasi untuk pembelajaran deferensiasi, 3) follow-up, 4) implementasi media dalam pembelajaran tematik di SD 1 Bakalan Krapyak, 5) evaluasi kegiatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini memberikan pendampingan dan pelatihan interaktif dengan studi kasus, tanya jawab, diskusi, curah pendapat, praktik pembuatan produk dan observasi lapangan dengan mitra. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan guru mampu membuat media pembelajaran IPA dan matematika melalui proses lesson study.

Self-confidence and learning motivation are affective factors that are thought to contribute to elementary school students' mathematical literacy. Mathematical literacy is an important skill in learning such as AKM, but it is still low in this school. This study aims to examine the effect of self-confidence and learning motivation on the mathematical literacy of fourth-grade students at SDN 1 Rendeng Kudus. The research approach used is quantitative with a causal associative type and explanatory design. The sample consisted of 30 students with a saturated sample technique. The research instruments were Likert scale questionnaires and mathematical literacy tests based on AKM questions. Data analysis techniques included prerequisite tests and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the F test showed a significance of 0.019 (0.05) which means there is a significant effect simultaneously. The t test showed a significance of 0.005 for self-confidence and 0.03 for learning motivation. The R² value of 0.200 indicates that both variables explain 20% of the variation in mathematical literacy. This finding confirms the importance of strengthening the affective aspect in mathematics learning in elementary schools.

This study aims to analyze the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in elementary school. This type of research uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design. The instrument used to collect data was an objective essay test. This study involved two groups: a control group using the conventional method and an experimental group using PBL. The research results were analyzed using the Independent Sample T-test with the help of SPSS software. The analysis results showed a significant difference in mathematical problem-solving ability between students using PBL and those using the conventional method. The average score of the experimental group was higher than that of the conventional group. Thus, the implementation of PBL influences the improvement of students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. This study recommends the use of PBL in elementary school mathematics learning to enhance students' learning outcomes and analytical skills.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi penggunaan model pembelajaran STAD yang dipadukan dengan media VIDBAR (video edukatif bangun datar) efektif terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas IV-A SD 1 Mijen. Latar belakang penelitian didasari oleh rendahnya minat dan motivasi siswa, yang tercermin dari minimnya partisipasi mereka dalam bertanya, menjawab, maupun berdiskusi selama proses pembelajaran, sehingga berdampak pada lemahnya pemahaman konsep matematika. Model STAD berbantuan media VIDBAR menawarkan pembelajaran kolaboratif berbasis konsep dengan dukungan visualisasi yang konkret, sehingga diharapkan dapat memperkuat pemahaman siswa melalui kerja kelompok terstruktur. Metode penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental tipe One Group Pretest-Posttest. Subjek penelitian yakni semua siswa kelas IV-A berjumlah 25 dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Evaluasi data dikerjakan melalui uji normalitas dan uji Paired Sample T-Test. Temuan penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa rata-rata nilai pretest siswa sebesar 63% (kategori cukup) meningkat menjadi 81% (kategori sangat baik) pada posttest. Uji Paired Sample T-Test diketahui nilai signifikansi kurang 0,001, menandakan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistic antara nilai pretest dan posttest. Efektivitas model diukur menggunakan Cohen’s d dengan hasil 2,179, yang termasuk kategori efek sangat besar. Dengan demikian, penggunaan model STAD berbantuan media VIDBAR terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas IV-A SD 1 Mijen pada materi bangun datar.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan numerasi dapat dilihat dari nilai AKM kelas numerasi siswa SDN Pagendisan yang rendah. Hal tersebut karena pembelajaran yang membosankan jarang menggunakan media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa menggunakan model Student Teams Achievement Division berbantuan media PAPADUT. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan di SDN Pagendisan. Penelitian ini dilakukan 2 siklus yang terdapat 4 tahapan yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas V SDN Pagendisan yang berjumlah 21 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi,. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa Siklus I mendapatkan mendapatkan ketuntasan klasikal 57%. Dengan kriteria “Cukup” kemudian mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II mendapatkan ketuntasan klasikal 81% dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik”. Dengan dimikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan numerasi melalui penerapan model Student Teams Achievement Division berbantun media PAPADUT pada kelas V SDN Pagendisan.
