Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of instructional leadership in developing an adaptive curriculum based on 21st-century needs at SD Islam Al-Badar. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design focusing on leadership practices, curriculum development impact, and implementation challenges. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and curriculum document analysis. The findings reveal that instructional leadership is implemented through academic supervision, teacher guidance, and collaborative planning. The principal promotes the integration of critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration into classroom practices. The impact is reflected in improved curriculum quality that is more flexible, contextual, and student-centered. Challenges include differences in teacher competence, limited resources, and resistance to change. Adaptive leadership addresses these barriers through continuous professional development and strengthened collaboration. The findings indicate that instructional leadership plays a significant role in enhancing adaptive curriculum development in primary education.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the limited integration of service quality frameworks and spirituality in Islamic early childhood education, despite their significant role in supporting holistic child development. This study aims to analyze the dialectical relationship between service quality and spirituality based on recent literature published between 2024 and 2025. A qualitative design using a systematic literature review approach was employed. Data were collected from 35 indexed journal articles published during 2024–2025 and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal that service quality frameworks are increasingly integrated with Islamic ethical principles, such as amanah and ihsan, while leadership and teacher professionalism function as key mediating factors. In addition, workplace spirituality contributes indirectly to service quality through job satisfaction and organizational commitment. However, challenges remain in policy alignment, teacher training, and technological integration. The study concludes that an integrative model combining spiritual values and quality assurance mechanisms is essential for achieving holistic educational outcomes in Islamic early childhood education. This study contributes to the theoretical development of Islamic education quality models and offers practical recommendations for policymakers and educators to strengthen spiritually grounded quality assurance systems.

Abstract

This study investigates the integration of educational leadership in interdisciplinary learning and its contribution to institutional innovation and sustainable social development at MAN 2 Trenggalek. The research aims to examine how leadership practices shape interdisciplinary learning, how these practices support institutional innovation, and how the interaction among these elements contributes to broader social outcomes. A qualitative case study design was employed to capture in-depth insights within a natural educational setting. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis involving the principal, teachers, and administrative staff. The findings reveal that educational leadership integrates vision, collaboration, and value orientation in facilitating interdisciplinary learning practices. Teachers engage in cross-disciplinary planning, reflective dialogue, and contextual teaching strategies that enhance student engagement and learning relevance. Institutional innovation is reflected in adaptive instructional programs, collaborative evaluation processes, and continuous refinement of teaching practices. The study also identifies a dynamic relationship in which leadership supports learning, learning drives innovation, and innovation contributes to sustainable social development. These findings demonstrate that leadership integration is essential in developing responsive and socially relevant educational environments.

Abstract

This study investigates how transformative educational leadership bridges cultural studies, organizational management, and innovation to develop adaptive learning environments at MAN 1 Trenggalek. The research addresses three main issues: the integration of cultural values in organizational management, the role of leadership in fostering innovation, and the interaction among these elements in shaping adaptability. A qualitative case study design was employed, involving the principal, teachers, and administrative staff selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis, then analyzed using thematic procedures including coding, categorization, and interpretation. The findings reveal that transformative leadership aligns cultural awareness with participatory management and innovation-oriented practices. Cultural values influence decision-making, communication, and professional relationships, strengthening institutional cohesion. Management practices support adaptive learning through collaborative planning, reflective evaluation, and flexible instruction. Innovation emerges through interdisciplinary and context-based teaching approaches responsive to student needs. The study concludes that the dynamic alignment between leadership, culture, management, and innovation is essential in creating responsive, sustainable, and adaptive educational environments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui pengaruh karakteristik pekerjaan dan kepuasan kerja terhadap loyalitas karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu non-probability sampling dengan responden berjumlah 100 orang karyawan swasta yang bekerja di Kota Bandar Lampung. Data diperoleh dari kuesioner yang disebar dengan skala likert. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis linear berganda dengan bantuan SPSS 26. Penelitian ini menunjukan karakteristik pekerjaan dan kepuasan kerja secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas karyawan di Kota Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

Although transformational leadership has been widely examined in previous research, studies that specifically highlight the transformation of leaders’ intelligence in the context of developing Islamic education in state madrasah remain limited. This study aimed to analyze how leadership intelligence at MA Negeri 1 Nganjuk is transformed and implemented to promote innovation and improve the quality of Islamic education. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis at MA Negeri 1 Nganjuk. The findings show that the principal proactively develops strategic, emotional, spiritual, and digital intelligence, which contributes significantly to strengthening organizational culture, improving teacher performance, and enhancing the quality of learning for santri. These findings contribute to the development of Islamic educational leadership theory and broaden understanding of the role of adaptive intelligence in responding to contemporary challenges. The study concludes that developing holistic intelligence is crucial for madrasah leaders in the context of Islamic education and suggests that Kementerian Agama facilitate professional development programs focused on these aspects. The implications of this research include theoretical contributions to enriching the literature on transformational leadership in madrasah settings, practical implications for policymakers and education practitioners in designing more comprehensive leadership development strategies, and opportunities for further studies on the impact of collective intelligence and shared leadership within the madrasah ecosystem.

Abstract

The rapid transformation of digital media has reshaped religious behavior, particularly through the normalization of zodiac prediction content on TikTok, which is often dismissed as mere content despite serious theological implications. This study responds to the phenomenon of digital fortune telling by reinterpreting the prophetic tradition regarding ‘arraf (fortune tellers) within a modern hermeneutical framework. This study aims to examine the Science of Ma’anil Hadith (Hadith Hermeneutics) from the perspective of Yusuf Al-Qardhawi and to analyze the contemporary relevance of the hadith in Ṣahih Muslim No. 2230 from that perspective. Using a qualitative research method, a type of library research, strengthened by digital observation of the hashtag #zodiacpredictions with a minimum of 80,000 views. The results show that the classic concept of “visiting” (atā) a fortune teller in this hadith has mutated into digital engagement, such as watching, liking, and validating content through comments like “relate or yes, this is absolutely true!” Through the four methodologies of Ma'anil Hadith Al-Qardhawi, which include harmonization with the Qur'an, collection of hadith on the same theme, understanding the historical context (asbabul wurud), and synchronization between narrations, this study concludes that interacting with zodiac content triggers spiritual consequences in the form of non-acceptance of prayers for forty nights, while believing in the predictions can lead to disbelief.

Abstract

Asbāb al-nuzūl, as a discipline within Ulūm al-Qur’an, provides an essential framework for connecting Qur’anic verses with the historical, social, and situational contexts in which they were revealed. This study aims to analyze the concept, classification, wisdom, and urgency of asbāb al-nuzūl in contemporary tafsir studies. Employing a qualitative literature-based approach, the study draws on primary sources from Qur’anic sciences and secondary sources from scholarly journal articles. Data were collected through documentation and analyzed using a descriptive-analytical method. The findings indicate that, both etymologically and terminologically, asbāb al-nuzūl refers to events, questions, or conditions that served as the background for the revelation of Qur’anic verses. Its main classifications consist of multiple causes for a single revelation (ta‘addud al-asbāb wa al-nāzil wāḥid) and a single cause for multiple revelations (ta‘addud al-nāzil wa al-asbāb wāḥid), reflecting the dynamic nature of revelation in responding to diverse social needs. The study further shows that understanding asbāb al-nuzūl offers practical benefits, including clarifying the meaning of verses, determining the scope of legal application, preventing misinterpretation, and strengthening memorization and contextual comprehension. Its urgency has become increasingly significant in the contemporary era, particularly in preventing disproportionate literal readings and supporting the contextual application of Qur’anic teachings. The study concludes that strengthening the study of asbāb al-nuzūl is crucial for developing an accurate, relevant, and contextually grounded methodology for interpreting the Qur’an in response to modern challenges.

Abstract

Indications of money politics, violations of civil servant neutrality, and intimidation of voters were found in various regions. This shows that participatory oversight is not yet fully optimal. Based on findings in the field, money politics is still rampant ahead of election day san. The methods are increasingly varied, such as the distribution of basic foodstuffs, digital transfers, and program promises. Many citizens still consider this to be "normal" in electoral political culture. This research was conducted in Lampung Province, which is a strategic location for studying participatory oversight practices in the implementation of elections. Lampung Province was chosen because it has a high level of political dynamics and a track record of innovation in community-based election oversight. The Lampung Province Bawaslu actively initiated various programs that directly involved the community in oversight activities, making it an interesting case study in the context of strengthening participatory democracy at the local level. Participatory Oversight in Preventing Violations through Oversight Villages, Socialization, and Complaint Centers First, Oversight Villages The implementation of participatory oversight in the Bawaslu's Oversight Village program in Lampung Province aims to build an election awareness culture at the level closest to the community, namely the village or sub-district. Second, Socialization The implementation of participatory oversight through socialization carried out by Bawaslu Lampung Province and regencies/cities focuses on efforts to build public awareness and encourage the community to play an active role in maintaining election integrity.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to determine the effect of rebranding and product quality on consumer loyalty mediated by Mako Bakery consumer satisfaction. Methodology: A quantitative approach was used, population in this research were Mako Cake and Bakery consumers in Indonesia. The sampling technique was determined using purposive sampling of 385 respondents obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires. The data analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS4. Results: The results show that both rebranding and product quality significantly influence consumer satisfaction. However, consumer loyalty is only directly affected by rebranding and consumer satisfaction, while product quality indirectly influence loyalty through satisfaction. Findings: The research highlights that rebranding play a more significant role in consumer loyalty than product quality, which only indirectly affect loyalty through their impact on consumer satisfaction. Novelty: This research contributes to consumer behavior literature and the role of rebranding and product quality in customer loyalty mediated by satisfaction, particularly focusing on the bakery industry. Originality: This study is original in its focus on the large bakery industry. Conclusion: The research recommends that businesses prioritize effective rebranding and maintain product quality, to ensure a positive shopping experience to enhance consumer loyalty.
