Abstract

OUT-PATIENT MANAGEMENT FOR SEVERE MALNOURISHED CHILDREN IN PUSKESMASBackground: During economic crisis in Indonesia in mid 1997, the numbers of malnourished children has increased. Many efforts had been conducted to solve this problem to prevent the detrimental effect of malnutrition especially in the reduction of the quality of manpower. Since 1980's our ambulatory clinic has developed the management for malnourished children. From 1997 to 2000, cases of malnourished children increased from 27 to 193, but we were facing with the numbers of defaulters. There were 40-50% drops out patients. To solved this problem, we worked together with Districts Health Office (Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten and Kota) Bogor to build nutrition clinic in 3 health centers (Puskesmas), in South Bogor, Sukaraja, and Sukamanah sub district. Objectives: To build the nutrition clinic in health center. Methods: First step of our action was to train the medical doctors, nurses and nutritionist from the health centers in ambulatory management (registration, anthropometric measurement, nutrition counseling, clinical examination and medication for infectious diseases) of severe malnourished children. The second step was to arrange the nutrition clinic in the health centers. In the first three months, the clinic was run by the team of the Nutrition Research and Development Center together with the team of health centers. In the second three of months, the health centers team run the clinic and NRDC team only supervised them. Results: The activity of nutrition clinic in the health centers was no difference with the activity in the nutrition clinic in the NRDC. The children nutritional status was improved after 4 months intervention. The improvement was measured by weight-for-height as well as by weight-for-age. The weight-for-height index was found as the perfect indicator to measure the effect of intervention on the nutritional status of the children. Conclusions: Community health centers staffs has a potential capacity to solve malnutrition problem, especially when they were trained adequately by proper trainer, and the best parameter to evaluate nutritional status was weight-for-height. Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of an integrated information system in public services at the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of Deli Serdang, particularly in the process of managing regional taxes. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the implementation of the integrated information system provides significant benefits in improving service efficiency, transparency, and taxpayer compliance. However, several challenges such as public digital literacy, data security, and resistance to change remain obstacles in its implementation. Therefore, solutions such as education, strengthening cybersecurity, and human resource training need to be applied to ensure the sustainability of this system. With continuous development, the integrated information system is expected to enhance the effectiveness of government administration and overall community welfare. The integrated information system implemented at Bapenda Deli Serdang also provides various conveniences, including integration with banks and financial institutions that accelerate the tax payment process and allow for real-time monitoring and evaluation of tax revenues. Additionally, the available digital public information services make it easier for the public to access information related to taxes and levies in a more transparent manner. Thus, the application of technology in this system not only increases efficiency but also contributes to improved tax compliance and the optimization of regional revenue.

Abstract

The film The Devil Wears Prada portrays various aspects of hedonism, especially in the pursuit of pleasure, luxury, and social status. These behaviors are increasingly visible today, especially among Generation Z and people of all ages, where the desire for immediate gratification strongly influences lifestyle and personal choices. This growing presence of hedonistic values inspires the writers to explore the concept more deeply, aiming to understand how it shapes attitudes and decisions in contemporary society. The aim is to recognize and comprehend the different forms of hedonism depicted in the film. This study employs a qualitative explanation approach to examine the attitudes, conversations, and actions of the key characters: Miranda Priestly, Andrea Sachs, and Emily Charlton. The results indicate that six categories of hedonism arise, according to Weijers’ (2012) framework: folk hedonism (25%), value/prudential hedonism (20%), motivational hedonism (18%), normative hedonism (12%), egoist hedonism (15%), and utilitarian hedonism (10%). Among them, folk hedonism is the most common, particularly in characters that pursue immediate pleasure without considering the long-term consequences. The research finds that The Devil Wears Prada illustrates how hedonism affects character growth and choices, reflecting real-life patterns where immediate gratification frequently overshadows long-term repercussions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media pembelajaran digital terhadap pemahaman materi siswa di MAN 2 Model Medan. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada transformasi pendidikan di era digital, di mana penggunaan media digital semakin meluas dan menjadi bagian integral dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui angket yang terdiri dari 20 butir pertanyaan dan disebarkan kepada seluruh populasi siswa kelas penelitian sebanyak 31 orang (total sampling). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier sederhana untuk menguji hubungan antara variabel penggunaan media pembelajaran digital (X) dan pemahaman materi siswa (Y). Hasil uji validitas dan reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa instrumen penelitian valid dan reliabel. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,540, yang berarti 54% variasi pemahaman materi siswa dapat dijelaskan oleh penggunaan media pembelajaran digital, sedangkan sisanya 46% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian ini. Uji t menghasilkan nilai thitung sebesar 6,135 yang lebih besar dari ttabel 1,69389, serta nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara penggunaan media pembelajaran digital terhadap pemahaman materi siswa. Temuan ini merekomendasikan pemanfaatan media digital secara strategis untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah, khususnya pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial

Abstract

Penerapan dan kendala Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) dalam produksi tanaman kopi memegang peranan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas, produktivitas, dan keberlanjutan produksi kopi. Penerapan dan kendala Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) dalam sistem produksi kopi sangat bermanfaat untuk memberikan pemahaman mengenai penerapan dan kendala Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) dalam sistem produksi tanaman kopi. Metode penulisan ini menggunakan metode studi literatur untuk mengevaluasi penerapan dan kendala Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) dalam produksi tanaman kopi. Sumber data berupa literatur sekunder yang diperoleh dari jurnal nasional dan internasional kajian difokuskan pada publikasi dalam lima tahun terakhir (2020–2025) yang membahas penerapan, tantangan, serta dampak GAP terhadap kualitas dan keberlanjutan usahatani kopi. Berdasarkan Hasil Literature Review yang dilakukan melalui analisis pengelompokkan tema terhadap 13 jurnal nasional dan internasional tahun 2020-2025 menunjukkan bahwa Penerapan Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) dalam produksi kopi berkontribusi signifikan dengan persentase 38,46%, Kendala yang dihadapi dalam penerapan Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) mencapai 15,38%, solusi dan strategi dalam penerapan Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) memberikan pengaruh hingga mencapai 23,07 dan dampak Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) terhadap keberlanjutan dan daya saing kopi memberikan pengaruh sebesar 23,07%. Berdasarkan hasil kajian literatur diatas, penerapan Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) dalam produksi kopi memiliki dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kualitas, produktivitas, dan keberlanjutan usahatani kopi. Namun, masih terdapat kendala yang menjadi penghambat dalam penerapannya. Oleh karena itu, solusi yang dapat dilakukan mencakup peningkatan edukasi melalui penyuluhan, pelatihan intensif, fasilitas akses terhadap benih unggul, teknologi pertanian modern, serta penguatan kelembagaan petani.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the pedagogical competence of teachers in conducting assessments of early childhood at KB Teratai. Pedagogical competence refers to the teacher’s ability to manage children's learning, including planning, implementing, and evaluating assessments of student development. Assessment in early childhood requires a deep understanding of children’s developmental characteristics as well as the use of appropriate assessment methods such as observation, documentation, and portfolios. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that teachers at KB Teratai possess a basic understanding of the principles and techniques of developmental assessment; however, several obstacles remain in its implementation, such as limited time, supporting facilities, and the need for further training. These findings highlight the importance of continuous improvement of teachers’ pedagogical competence to support the quality of early childhood development assessments. Based on the results of this study, pedagogical competence is essential for teachers and can be observed through their ability to use educational play tools as a medium in the learning process.

Abstract

Researchers found in the field, students lacked focus in learning because the learning process was still teacher-centered, students played around and told stories while the teacher was explaining, students lacked the courage to ask questions and express opinions, there were still students who were late for class. during PAI subjects. So the problem discussed in this research is the relationship between educational interactions and students' interest in learning at SMK N 1 Kinali. The aim of this research is to find out how much educational interaction has a relationship with students' interest in learning at SMK N 1 Kinali. This research method is a correlation method with a quantitative descriptive approach. The population in this study was all class X students, totaling 413 students. Determining the number of samples used a random sampling technique using the Slovin formula, so that the sample obtained was 80 class X students. The data collection technique in this research was using a questionnaire technique. Before testing the hypothesis, the researcher first carried out prerequisite tests in the form of normality tests and linearity tests. Then continue with the hypothesis test using the product moment correlation test. The results of the research show that there is a relationship between educational interactions and the interest in learning of class X students in PAI subjects at SMK N 1 Kinali. The relationship between the two variables is classified as sufficient with a correlation value of 0.661. These results show that (0.661) > (0.219). So it was rejected and accepted, so it can be interpreted that there is a relationship between educational interactions and the interest in learning of class X students in PAI subjects at SMK N 1 Kinali.

Abstract

A systems approach can improve the quality of education by identifying needs, selecting problems, identifying requirements for solutions to problems, creating several alternative solutions, producing results, and revising requirements in part or all of the system related to limitations in meeting needs. This research explores how the application of a systems approach can be an effective basis for building quality education. Through analysis of factors such as synchronization, resource management, and stakeholder engagement, this research aims to identify ways in which system approaches can be optimized to achieve better educational outcomes. By strengthening the linkages between various elements in the education system, it is hoped that an educational ecosystem that is more responsive, adaptive and results-oriented can be formed. The findings of this research can contribute to the development of more effective education policies and provide a more comprehensive view of efforts to improve the overall quality of education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the implementation of performance management at CV Nuansa Warna Tanjungpinang Branch. The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation and in-depth interviews. The sample used in this research is a purposive sample with the informant, SPV, Mr. Riyanto Setiyawan . Data analysis was carried out using triangulation through the steps of reduction, presentation and conclusion. The results of this study found that the implementation of performance at CV Nuansa Warna Tanjungpinang Branch has been implemented quite well. This includes the stages of planning, monitoring, evaluation, and follow-up. However, there are some obstacles, such as CV Nuansa Warna facing unique challenges in implementing performance management, including limited resources, and structured formal systems. Implemented strategies include technical training, KPI implementation, and CRM system development. This study concludes that effective performance management can improve productivity, service quality, and competitiveness of the company, although it requires continuous improvement to face the existing challenges.

Abstract

Penelitian kualitatif ini mengeksplorasi stres akademik yang dialami mahasiswa Administrasi Pendidikan, dampaknya terhadap kesehatan mental, serta strategi adaptasi yang digunakan. Dengan pendekatan studi kasus, wawancara mendalam dilakukan terhadap mahasiswa dengan variasi keterlibatan organisasi dan beban akademik. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa stres akademik muncul dalam bentuk beban tugas, tenggat waktu ketat, dan sistem evaluasi yang tidak jelas, berdampak negatif terhadap kesejahteraan mental. Respons mahasiswa beragam, mulai dari gangguan tidur hingga kemampuan adaptif melalui dukungan sosial. Mahasiswa menerapkan strategi koping berfokus pada masalah maupun emosi. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya penguatan layanan kesehatan mental dan pelatihan keterampilan koping oleh institusi.
