Abstract

The study's goals are to: 1) Determine how the Paired Storytelling learning paradigm may be used to enhance students' story listening comprehension in class V SDN 1 Arawa.  2) To determine if using the Paired Storytelling learning methodology may help students in class V SDN 1 Arawa become better story listeners.  This study uses a qualitative methodology and is classified as classroom action research.  This paper investigates the teacher's learning process and the learning outcomes of the students using the Paired Storytelling learning paradigm.   The subjects of the research were twenty-four teachers and V grade pupils.   Data collecting techniques include observation, testing, and documenting among others.  Additionally, descriptive qualitative analysis and processing were performed on the data.  The effectiveness of this research will be determined by how well the student learning outcomes and the paired storytelling implementation procedure work together.  While the findings of research in cycle II have met the set success indicator of ≥76%, the results of cycle I research have not yet reached the success indicator of the results set because students are still less engaged in their learning.  According to the findings, fifth-grade students at SDN 1 Arawa may enhance their listening abilities by using the Paired Storytelling learning paradigm.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Manajemen (SIM) memiliki peran penting dalam penanggulangan bencana, khususnya dalam bidang kedaruratan dan logistik. Kota Padang, yang terletak di wilayah rawan bencana, menghadapi tantangan besar dalam menangani situasi darurat secara cepat dan efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi SIM di Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Kota Padang, dengan fokus pada peran sistem dalam mendukung operasi kedaruratan dan distribusi logistik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi langsung di BPBD Kota Padang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SIM yang diterapkan membantu dalam pemantauan real-time, pengelolaan data korban, serta distribusi bantuan logistik yang lebih efisien. Namun, terdapat kendala dalam hal keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi dan pelatihan personel yang belum optimal. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan kapasitas teknologi, pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi petugas, serta integrasi SIM dengan sistem informasi lainnya untuk meningkatkan efektivitas manajemen bencana di Kota Padang.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi santri melalui pelatihan menulis sebagai bagian dari pendidikan dakwah bil-kitabah. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan di Pesantren Persis Al-Asma Sumedang pada tanggal 12 April hingga 21 Juni 2025 dengan menggunakan metode hybrid, yaitu kombinasi antara pertemuan tatap muka dan daring melalui Zoom serta WhatsApp Group. Materi pelatihan mencakup teknik dasar penulisan artikel ilmiah, penggunaan perangkat sitasi ilmiah seperti Zotero dan Mendeley, serta strategi dakwah berbasis literasi yang relevan dengan kebutuhan dakwah masa kini. Proses pelatihan juga disertai praktik langsung dan bimbingan intensif oleh para narasumber yang berkompeten. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan menulis para santri, yang ditunjukkan dengan artikel-artikel yang layak dipublikasikan di jurnal OJS. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat melahirkan da’i-da’i literatif yang mampu menyebarluaskan nilai-nilai Islam secara luas, sistematis, dan berkelanjutan melalui media tulisan yang berkualitas dan bernilai edukatif.

Abstract

Industrial automation is increasingly developing in improving efficiency and productivity, one of which is the use of SCARA (Selective Compliant Articulated Robot Arm) robots. This research discusses the design and testing of SCARA robot programs for material handling automation systems based on Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). Testing is done using software and hardware, including function block diagrams, and implementation of the SCARA robot program. The test results show that the designed automation system can function optimally, with integration between the robot, conveyor, and sensors running efficiently. In addition, the robot program is able to execute commands with high accuracy, including automatic material removal. This success confirms that the system design can be applied to improve efficiency in industrial production processes.

Abstract

Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique (VCT) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila materi Keberagaman Sosial dan Budaya di kelas IV UPT SD Negeri 7 Benteng SIDRAP. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode pra experiment dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penulisan adalah siswa kelas IV yang diberikan pretest sebelum penerapan model Value Clarification Technique (VCT) dan posttest setelahnya. Hasil penulisan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan. Nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 36,47 meningkat menjadi 85,29 pada posttest. Analisis data menggunakan uji paired sample t-test menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, yang menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique (VCT) memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique (VCT) efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila.

Abstract

In addition to urban forest area at the University of Indonesia, Depok Campus, West Java, there are lakes that functions as water reservoir area. University of Indonesia is eager to create green and beautiful campus environment with one of its efforts is to care for the lake ecosystem in the campus. This study was conducted to analyze the diversity of phytoplankton in the lake. Sampling was carried out by determining 3 location points with 3 times repetitions conducted on different days. The water samples taken were then identified at the Biology Laboratory FMIPA UNJ. The mean values of water quality parameters obtained were pH 10, TDS 90 ppm, temperature 30°C, and water clarity 46 cm. The results showed that 14 genera and 20 species have been found, they are Chlorophyta, Chroococcus, Coelosphaerium, Crucigeniella, Euglena, Gloeocapsa, Merismopedia, Pediastrum (3 species), Peridinium, Scenedesmus (4 species), Tablelaria, Tetrastrum, Volvox, and Westella (2 species). The Diversity Index Shannon-Wiener during the observation was 2.9, which means that the condition of water at the University of Indonesia Lake was very good and not polluted. The availability of phytoplankton in the area was generally sufficient which can be utilized by other organisms as food source.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the Strategic Plan (RENSTRA) implementation process for East Kalimantan Province to strengthen economic growth. The research adopts a qualitative approach involving steps such as formulating research questions, collecting primary data through interviews and observations, and analyzing data using the interactive model developed by Miles and Huberman. The research focuses on policy implementation aspects such as clarity of standards and objectives, resource allocation, and inter-organizational coordination. The East Kalimantan Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA) serves as the locus of the study, with the selection of primary data involving key informants and informants through purposive sampling techniques. The findings indicate the commitment and efforts made by BAPPEDA to achieve regional economic development goals through the implementation of RENSTRA. However, challenges such as limited human resources, budget allocation, and consistency in inter-organizational communication still need to be addressed. The limitations of this study include its focus on East Kalimantan Province, which limits the generalizability of the findings. Further research could expand the scope to compare RENSTRA implementations in other regions or more deeply explore factors affecting policy implementation performance. It is hoped that future research will provide deeper insights and more effective solutions to enhance regional economic growth in East Kalimantan and other areas

Abstract

Imla' is one of the basic skills in Arabic language learning that is important for students to master, especially in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Study Program. However, in practice, students' imla' ability is still low due to limited teaching materials and interactive learning methods. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of using e-modules on improving the understanding of imla' material. This study used a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest and posttest design. The sampling technique was purposive sampling on PAI students. The results of the analysis showed that the use of e-modules had a significant effect on improving the understanding of imla' with a p-value of 0.000. These results indicate an increase in accuracy in imla' material, namely students are able to understand Arabic writing rules and recognize mistakes that have been made previously. E-modules contribute to increasing motivation and learning independence. E-modules have also proven effective as alternative learning media in improving the understanding of imla' material for PAI students. This study recommends the development of broader e-modules and the integration of learning technology in the Arabic language curriculum in higher education. Highlights: Students demonstrated measurable gains in Arabic script comprehension after digital module use. Structured electronic materials supported clearer recognition of writing rules and errors. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of information and communication technology (ICT) utilization in network service systems at a government research institution, with a qualitative study focused on the Kurnaen Sumadiharga Science Area, BRIN. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using in-depth interviews, field observations, and official document analysis to explore ICT utilization practices, workflow processes, and challenges encountered during implementation. The findings indicate that ICT use has improved service workflow efficiency, facilitated internal information access, and accelerated inter-unit coordination. However, its effectiveness is not yet fully optimal due to limitations in human resource capacity, incomplete integration of service systems, and continued reliance on manual procedures in certain processes. These results suggest that ICT effectiveness is not only determined by the availability of technological infrastructure but also by organizational readiness, work culture, and effective service governance. This study emphasizes the importance of an institutional and managerial approach in assessing the role of ICT to enhance performance and service delivery in public research institutions.

Abstract

Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) is essential for developing 21st-century Arabic language skills. This study aims to assess the readiness of Indonesian Arabic language teachers to implement TBLT, utilizing the comprehensive ACTFL World-Readiness Standards (5Cs): communication, cultures, connections, comparisons, and communities, as the analytical framework. Employing a quantitative survey design, data were collected from Arabic teachers across various educational levels in Indonesia to evaluate their current preparedness levels against the 5Cs standard. The overall readiness index stands at 3.01 (on a 5-point scale), concluding that the teachers are “not ready, need some repairs” for full TBLT implementation. While Communication demonstrated the highest readiness (3.36), aspects like Comparisons (2.85) and Cultures (2.87) showed the lowest scores. These findings provide a crucial evaluation of teachers' preparedness, highlighting an urgent need for targeted professional development programs focused on integrating cultural competency and comparative linguistic skills within TBLT pedagogy to meet the demands of 21st-century language education.
