Abstract

This research aims to increase students' interest in learning through the application of the traditional Ektas game media. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects of this research were 27 students consisting of 13 male students and 14 female students. The data collection techniques used were observation techniques, interest questionnaires, field notes and documentation. Data analysis in this research is descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative. Based on the research results, the percentage of students' interest in learning increased rapidly from the results of observation measurements in cycle I of 71.92%, increasing in cycle II to 90.37%. This was also followed by an increase in the results of the questionnaire measuring interest in learning from 71.48% in cycle II to 90.40%. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the traditional Ektas game media can increase students' interest in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan aktivitas dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran POE dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Metode quasi-eksperimen dengan desain posttest only control group digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Aktivitas siswa dianalisis secara deskriptif berdasarkan hasil observasi, sedangkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dianalisis melalui hasil tes dan dilanjutkan dengan uji perbedaan menggunakan independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas siswa dengan model pembelajaran POE lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Selain itu, kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dengan pembelajaran POE juga lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Perbedaan ini ditunjukkan oleh tingginya aktivitas dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada model pembelajaran POE.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to find out the process of using metacognitive strategies applied by introvert student in reading comprehension. This study used qualitative research in terms of descriptive study. In collecting the data, there were two instruments applied; interview, especially semi-interview because it was to find out the problem naturally and not only focus on taking notes during the research and the second instrument was observation. The setting of this study was conducted in outdoor room and the participant was an introvert student of fifteen years old in non-formal education. The study results were the introvert student used metacognitive strategies with three stages in the process of reading, they were planning before reading, monitoring during reading and evaluating after reading, it was removing shortcomings in reading especially in pronunciation and vocabulary, the introvert student thought what she was thinking to maximize her own productivity in reading, she asked herself what she already knew to focus her thinking of reading, and she evaluated what she has carried out in the process of reading, the introvert student fostered forethought and self-reflection in the process of reading so that she became aware of how she learned and evaluated and adapted skills to increase reading comprehension.

Abstract

The fact of the rise of social media and the strong development of digital has made some entrepreneurs or business people to compete with each other to develop a product, with the trend that is developing today. This study aims to determine how much influence viral marketing and product quality have on purchasing decisions, this type of research is quantitative descriptive with an associative approach and uses multiple linear regression analysis. The sample in this study was consumers who used Camille beauty skincare which was determined using the calculation of the Slovin formula with alpha 5% and the results were 96 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study is probability sampling with a simple random sampling approach. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression, partial and simultaneous hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination. The results of this study show that simultaneously, viral marketing variables and product quality have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions while partially, viral marketing variables and product quality have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

AbstrakPada masa pandemi covid 19, informasi yang berkaitan dengan hukum menjadi kebutuhan penting karena banyak produk hukum baru yang dikeluarkan oleh pemerintah dan belum diketahui secara spesifik oleh masyarakat. Sementara itu, peran dari media massa sebagai alat untuk menyampaikan informasi, terkadang dipandang tidak proporsional, sehingga dalam artikel ini berusaha untuk membahas tentang apa peran media informasi hukum pada masa covid 19, apa kelemahan-kelemahan dari penggunaan media informasi hukum, dan media informasi hukum apa yang tepat untuk dipergunakan di Fakultas Hukum Universitas Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini yuridis sosiologis, data yang dipergunakan adalah data primer dan didukung data sekunder. Analisa data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran media informasi hukum pada masa covid 19 di Fakultas Hukum Universitas Semarang adalah sebagai komunikator yang baik dari berbagai informasi hukum mengingat banyaknya produk hukum baru yang harus diketahui oleh   masyarakat pada masa covid 19, sehingga informasi hukum tersebut dapat berkualitas, dapat menumbuhkan kesadaran masyarakat, dan media informasi ini juga akan mempermudah akses masyarakat dalam memperoleh informasi hukum. Kelemahan-kelemahan dari penggunaannya, yaitu komitmen dari semua elemen di Fakultas Universitas Semarang, belum ada peraturan yang mendukung di Fakultas Hukum Universitas Semarang, dan belum banyak media sosial yang dikelola oleh Fakultas Hukum Universitas Semarang. Media informasi yang tepat untuk dipergunakanadalah media sosial, dengan analisis bahwa banyak pengguna media sosial di Indonesia, efektifitas dalam akses informasi, dan media yang paling murah dalam melakukan publikasi informasi. Dalam implementasinya digunakan strategi membuat akun social media. Kemudian, seluruh elemen Fakultas Hukum Universitas Semarang wajib mem-follow-nya, dan mem-posting ulang postingan tersebut.

Abstract

Dalam era yang dipenuhi dengan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI), penggunaannya dalam dunia pendidikan telah menjadi topik yang menarik perhatian. Meskipun AI menawarkan potensi yang besar, dampaknya juga menimbulkan tantangan dan peluang yang perlu dipahami dengan cermat oleh masyarakat. Pergeseran arah lapangan kerja akibat otomatisasi yang dilakukan oleh AI telah memunculkan pertanyaan tentang peran pekerja manusia di masa depan. Pengaruh kecerdasan buatan terhadap mahasiswa juga telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam paradigma pendidikan. Tujuan dari peneiltian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan AI dalam dunia pendidikan bahasa Arab. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Studi Kepustakaan (Library Research). Studi kepustakaan digunakan untuk mengumpulkan informasi dari berbagai sumber seperti dokumen, buku, majalah, jurnal, dan sejarah. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi AI telah menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih personal, efisien, dan terfokus. Namun, tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa kehadiran Al Tools juga telah mengubah beberapa aspek kehidupan mahasiswa. Inovasi dalam perkembangan AI telah membawa kemampuan kecerdasan buatan yang mampu memahami dan menghasilkan bahasa seperti manusia. Dengan demikian pula, penggunaan AI dalam dunia pendidikan tidak hanya memberikan kemudahan, tetapi juga menimbulkan dampak yang perlu diperhatikan secara seksama. Penting bagi masyarakat untuk memahami secara menyeluruh bagaimana teknologi kecerdasan buatan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, sambil tetap memperhatikan implikasi dan tantangan yang mungkin timbul seiring dengan perkembangannya.

Abstract

Mathematics is a study material that has an abstract object and is built through a deductive reasoning process, that is, the truth of a concept is obtained as a logical result of the previous truth so that the relationship between concepts in mathematics is very strong and clear. Thus, it can be interpreted that abstract mathematical objects are not easily observed by the five senses. So that it may be difficult for some students to understand the mathematics material delivered by the teacher. To facilitate the understanding of abstract mathematical objects, an intermediary that is concrete or observable by the five senses is needed to reduce the abstraction. The mathematical object that is a real object is called a mathematics learning aid. Therefore, the researcher utilizes learning media by using teaching aids in building space materials for elementary school education. The subject of this study is a student of class V of SDN 186/I Sridadi. The data collection techniques used are, observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The results obtained from the use of learning media in the form of classroom building props, students achieved completeness of 72.2%, incomplete students by 27.2%, and an increase in student learning outcomes by 53.9%. With this, the use of learning media in the form of mathematics teaching aids for class V students is effective to be used in the learning process.   Keywords: building space, concrete media, mathematics

Abstract

The purpose of this journal is to provide socialization and education to the people of Sumberejo Village about political violations and the role of society in organizing regional elections. Participatory supervision plays an important role in realizing democratic leaders. Community participation that takes part in this regional election can produce integrity, credibility of organizers, transparency of organizers and accountability of election results. The method used by students is to use the socialization method by inviting members of the KPU, the people of Sumberejo Village, the Sumberejo Village apparatus, the Sub-district Panwas, and the Sumberejo Village PPS. The communication tools used by students to deliver the material are using Powerpoint and Projectors. With this socialization, it is hoped that all elements of society and government can work together to carry out regional elections fairly and in a focused manner.

Abstract

Family planning programme is one of the methods to reduce population growth rate. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and husband's support with the use of long-acting contraceptives at Puskesmas Bermani Ulu, Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province.The design used in this study was an analytical survey with a Cross Sectional design. The population in this study were women of childbearing age at the Bermani Ulu Health Centre, Rejang Lebong Regency in the period January-May 2024, totalling 514 people, the sample in this study was 84 respondents. Sampling was taken by purposive sampling. The results obtained from 84 respondents almost half of the respondents (44%) had less knowledge. Of the 84 respondents, most respondents (53.6%) husbands supported the use of long-term contraception. Of the 84 respondents, most respondents (53.6%) used non MHJP contraception and almost half of the respondents (46.4%) did not use non MHJP contraception. There is a relationship between knowledge and long-term contraceptive use at the Bermani Ulu Community Health Centre, Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province. There is a relationship between husband's support and the use of long term contraceptives at Puskesmas Bermani Ulu, Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province It is expected to increase public knowledge about long term contraception by increasing health promotion programmes through health education and counselling so that long-term awareness of childbearing age to be willing to use long term contraceptives.

Abstract

Education standards in Indonesia still face various challenges, especially in Tahai Jaya Village where there are still educational problems such as limited Merdeka curriculum books, unstable lesson schedules, and the low reading ability of grade 3 elementary school students, reflecting broader educational challenges. To overcome this, KKN students took the initiative to carry out free tutoring in Tahai Jaya village. The aim of this free tutoring program is to help improve the quality of education in Tahai Jaya village. The method used is the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method. The results of free tutoring activities in Tahai Jaya Village have succeeded in improving the quality of education in the area. This activity involves active community participation and is carried out for a month using interactive methods. As a result, students show increased motivation and learning abilities, especially in completing school assignments. Parents also felt the positive impact of this activity, because their children were more enthusiastic and eager to learn.
