Abstract

This study examines the regulation of foreign workers (TKA) in Indonesia and the implications of the Constitutional Court Decision Number 168/PUU-XXI/2023 on TKA regulations. The focus is to analyze regulatory changes before and after the decision, as well as its impact on prioritizing local workers, technology transfer, and TKA licensing. This research employs a normative juridical method with a statutory approach, based on an analysis of legal documents such as laws and court decisions. The findings reveal that the Constitutional Court's decision strengthens the prioritization of local workers, technology transfer, and TKA oversight. The implementation of this decision is expected to reduce reliance on foreign workers, enhance the competitiveness of local labor, and promote inclusive development. The government is urged to reinforce oversight, prioritize training for local workers, and conduct periodic evaluations of TKA policies to support the independence of Indonesian labor in the global era

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of Arabic listening and articulation skills and their relationship with Arabic language skills among non-native speakers in children's boarding schools in Lampung Province. The research approach was correlational. The research participants were children of boarding students at Hidayatul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School, Darussalam Islamic Boarding School, and Al-Imam Islamic Boarding School, Lampung Province. The selected respondents were children aged 7-9 years. The data collection instrument was a test. The research findings show the significant value of listening and articulation skills based on gender, age, Qur'an learning experience, the number of memorized Qur'an owned, parental income, and geographical area of residence is 0.000 <0.05. This value demonstrates the significant influence of these variables on children's listening and articulation skills. The analysis results show that the correlation coefficient of the listening ability and articulation ability variables is 0.370 and 0.621, which means that the strength of the relationship between each variable and Arabic language skills has sufficient and robust criteria. Both values are positive, showing that the effect is unidirectional. The significance values of 0.873 and 0.015> 0.05 show positive signs, meaning a significant relationship exists between listening ability and articulation with Arabic language skills. This means the rise will follow increased listening and articulation ability variables in children's Arabic language skills. The calculation result of the coefficient of determination or R square value is 0.725. This implies that listening ability and articulation affect the Arabic language proficiency variable by 72.5%. Other variables might influence the remaining percentage.

Abstract

Reading is a communication process between the reader (al Qāri) and the writer (al Kātib) to understand the reading text and get the messages contained in it through words/written language that has a cognitive relationship (thinking) between spoken language and written language. However, learning al Qirāah taught in schools is very difficult to learn, tedious, and uninteresting. It can even make students feel afraid to read it. This research uses qualitative descriptive research, and the goal is to describe the models of card games in learning mahārah al Qirāah at State High School 5 Banjarmasin. Learning al Qirāah taught in schools is very difficult to learn, tedious and uninteresting, and can even make students feel afraid to read it. However, the results show that card game models are very motivating and increase the enthusiasm and passion of learning for students, make it easier for students to understand the material, and help the boring learning process become fun and exciting. Gaming models using the card in mahārah al Qirāah that can be used are the word card model, sentence card model, question and answer card model, answer complementary card model and pictorial mufradat card model. Keywords: Card Model, Learning, Mahārah Al Qirāah

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan realitas nilai moral novel Orang-Orang Proyek Karya Ahmad Tohari yang berkaitan dengan pengklasifikasian keterkaitan relitas nilai moral manusia kepada Pencipta, keterkaitan relitas nilai moral manusia dengan manusia lain, dan relitas nilai moral berdasarkan keterkaitan manusia dengan diri sendiri. Selain itu, keterkaitan realita nilai moral yang tercermin dalam novel Orang-Orang Proyek merupakan objek kajian dengan pendekantan sosiologi sastra. Penelitian ini mengedepankan studi pustaka, pendataan data dilakukan dengan teknik dokumentasi, membaca dan mencatat, data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini mengedepankan wujud relitas nilai moral seperti keyakinan, integritas, kejujuran, solidaritas, dan keadilan. Realitas nilai moral tersebut diharapkan mampu memberikan konstribusi pencerahan pada masyarakat agar ketimpangan sosial dapat ditanggulangi.

Abstract

The passage transitions to a research exploration, emphasizing the philosophical stream of positivism, its connection with scientific knowledge, and its impact on education. The research methodology is outlined, specifying aqualitative approach through literature review analysis. The historical section delves into logical positivism, its origins, and its influence within the Vienna Circle. The rejection of metaphysics, the classification of statements, and the pursuit ofa universal scientific language are highlighted. The role of philosophy in logical positivism is presented as a logical-linguistic activity aimed at clarifying scientific propositions. Abstract

The Israel–Palestine conflict escalated once again in early October 2023, resulting in numerous casualties. One incident that drew international attention was the reported death of Ismail Haniyeh, a senior Hamas leader, who was allegedly killed in Tehran by a blast believed to have been launched by Israel. This event sparked widespread public reaction, especially on digital platforms such as YouTube. This study examines Arabic-language hate speech found in the comment section of a news video uploaded by @Al-Jazeera Arabic covering Haniyeh’s death. Using a forensic linguistics framework within a media discourse analysis approach, the study applies a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through reading and note-taking techniques. The primary data were obtained from user comments on the YouTube video posted by @Al-Jazeera Arabic, specifically concerning the case of Ismail Haniyeh’s death. The analysis identifies hate speech based on expressions that contain insults, hostility, or incitement, categorized linguistically. He findings reveal six referents of hate speech, namely: circumstances (6 hate speech), objects (7 hate speech), activities (4 hate speech), kinship (3 hate speech), profession (2 hate speech), exclamation (2 hate speech). In terms of the linguistic forms used, hate speech is found in the form of words, phrases, and clauses, namely there are 6 hate speech words, 9 hate speech phrases, and 9 hate speech clauses. The study highlights how hate speech in digital discourse reflects not only emotional reactions but also the linguistic strategies users employ to express ideological and political stances.

Abstract

Character education is an effort carried out by humans consciously, in a planned manner aimed at educating and empowering the potential of students so that their personal character is formed and they become individuals who are beneficial to themselves and the surrounding environment. Therefore, a child needs assistance and education so that he can grow and develop optimally. Character education must be carried out so that children in the future can become the next generation with good personalities and dignity. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of assistance to improve religious character through the KKN INSUD program which was carried out at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Bango, Payaman, Solokuro, Lamongan. Activities to improve religious character are carried out by getting the following activities: morning assembly prayer, reading al quran before starting learning, Dhuha prayer, midday prayer, wearing Muslim and Muslim clothes, shaking hands with teachers and commemorating Islamic holidays.

Abstract

This study seeks to compare and describe the pattern of curriculum development for Arabic language learning in tertiary education on a theoretical and practical level, and the subject of this research study is the pattern of curriculum development for the Arabic Education Department at UIN Antasari and IAIN Palangka Raya. The results of this study indicate that the pattern of curriculum development in these two programs has considered all existing and required components in the national BAN-PT accreditation and these two programs have also achieved an “A” accreditation. On a practical level, the curriculum implementation model developed by the two Arabic education curriculum includes a curriculum containing local knowledge and learning technologies. In the use of learning technology to improve the language skills of Arabic Education Department students at UIN Antasari using the TOAFL, test developed and managed by Language Development Unit at UIN Antasari, while the Arabic Education Department at IAIN Palangka Raya uses online Arabic from the Electronic University of Saudi Arabia as an Arabic language test for foreigners.

Abstract

Mastering Arabic requires strong listening skills as a foundational element. The research problem is whether the use of an online Arabic program for teaching listening skills in grade X at MAN 3 Banjarmasin is effective. The objective of this study is to determine the effectiveness of using an online Arabic program for teaching listening skills in grade X at MAN 3 Banjarmasin. The research employs a quasi-experimental approach with Nonequivalent Control Group design, focusing on the effectiveness of the online Arabic program in enhancing listening skills among tenth-grade students at MAN 3 Banjarmasin. The findings indicate that the utilization of this program yields positive results, evidenced by the post-test average scores: 85.63 for the experimental class and 78.13 for the control class. With a Sig value of 0.002, which is less than 0.05, Ha is accepted, indicating that the online Arabic program is effective in teaching listening skills at MAN 3 Banjarmasin.

Abstract

Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus memiliki peluang yang sama dengan anak lainnya untuk memperoleh kesempatan belajar, namun seiring bertambahnya Sekolah untuk anak berkebutuhan khusus, ternyata peluang bertambahnya kompetensi yang dikuasai siswa dengan Perhatian khusus ini tidak bertambah, padahal bahasa arab merupakan salah satu bahasa yang sangat erat hubungannya dengan agama yang dianut oleh siswa. Dengan modal bahasa Arab, siswa ini nantinya akan memiliki tidak hanya kemampuan komunikasi tapi juga, pemahaman terhadap kegiatan ibadah yang dianutnya. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peluang terlaksananya pembelajaran bahasa arab pada anak Tunagrahita dengan menggunakan media multisensori. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif dan metode kombinasi. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode wawancara, observasi, dan metode test. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis t test untuk uji kuantitatif dan analisis Miles and Huberman untuk uji kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada kemampuan siswa Tunagrahita sebelum dan sesudah diberikan treatmen, dengan hasil N Gain score yang menunjukkan bahwa media ini cukup efektif untuk melibatkan banyak sensori yang mampu meningkatkan fokus siswa Tunagrahita dalam belajar bahasa Arab sehingga siswa mampu menyusun huruf menjadi kata meskipun siswa tersebut sebelumnya belum mampu mengidentifikasi dengan baik bentuk huruf hijaiyah yang dipelajari.
