Abstract

This study designs Arabic reading materials that integrate Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) with principles of religious moderation to address the cognitive and moral demands of 21st-century education. An integrative pedagogical model employing Kahoot! was implemented to enhance learners’ critical literacy, analytical reasoning, and intercultural awareness. Adopting a descriptive qualitative approach, data were obtained from 15 students through diagnostic assessments and perception surveys. Results revealed promising outcomes, with mean performance scores of 78.6 (range 73–83). Most participants (93.1%) rated the materials as “Highly Suitable” or “Suitable” for developing analytical and evaluative reading skills, while 91.4% agreed they effectively promoted tolerance and inclusivity. Additionally, 62.2% reported heightened motivation and engagement through the gamified environment. The integration of HOTS-oriented questions, multimedia resources, and value-laden texts strengthened both cognitive and affective learning dimensions. However, further enhancement is needed by incorporating synthesis and argumentation tasks and embedding moderation themes in more contextualized narratives. Future development should emphasize adaptive learning, cross-disciplinary integration, and formative feedback to foster autonomy and holistic growth in Arabic language education.

Abstract

This research aimed to enhance students' comprehension of the Nahwu subject, hoping to increase motivation and make Nahwu courses more enjoyable. With issues in mind, the difficulty of Ma'arif University Lampung students in understanding Nahwu courses was partly due to the absence of the pesantren education background of some students and the students' boredom with the course. The research method employed was qualitative field research. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. This research utilized a quasi-experimental design. Based on the test results, it was evident that the mean score of Group 1 in the initial or pretest was only 68.7, whereas Group 2 scored 77.7. After the learning process was conducted using the Magic Disc Arab Qarshun 'Ajibun media, the mean score of the experimental class (Group 1) reached 82.6, while the control class (Group 2) only reached 81.3. This indicated that the learning process using the Magic Disc Arab Qarshun 'Ajibun media could enhance students' learning comprehension and have a significant impact. Therefore, this media-based teaching method was a solution for delivering instructional material effectively, especially in the context of Nahwu. Additionally, this research provided a storyboard on the practical implementation of the Qarshun 'Ajibun Media to improve the understanding of Nahwu. For further research, it is recommended to carry out research & development studies on the Magic Disc Arabic Qarshun 'Ajibun media and can also apply the Magic Disc Arabic Qarshun 'Ajibun media as an exciting learning media to increase interest in learning Arabic and can increase anger Arabic, both from improving kalam (speaking) skills, kitabah (writing) skills and qiro'ah (writing) skills.

Additionally, there was a decrease in the average systolic blood pressure from 156.8 mmHg to 145.3 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure from 105 mmHg to 94.3 mmHg. There is an influence of Telenursing on improving dietary compliance and reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients, with respective p-value <0.001. Conclusions Telenursing positively impacts on the diet compliance and blood pressure of patients with hypertension. Further research on telenursing development and innovation was warranty.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of Arabic listening and articulation skills and their relationship with Arabic language skills among non-native speakers in children's boarding schools in Lampung Province. The research approach was correlational. The research participants were children of boarding students at Hidayatul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School, Darussalam Islamic Boarding School, and Al-Imam Islamic Boarding School, Lampung Province. The selected respondents were children aged 7-9 years. The data collection instrument was a test. The research findings show the significant value of listening and articulation skills based on gender, age, Qur'an learning experience, the number of memorized Qur'an owned, parental income, and geographical area of residence is 0.000 <0.05. This value demonstrates the significant influence of these variables on children's listening and articulation skills. The analysis results show that the correlation coefficient of the listening ability and articulation ability variables is 0.370 and 0.621, which means that the strength of the relationship between each variable and Arabic language skills has sufficient and robust criteria. Both values are positive, showing that the effect is unidirectional. The significance values of 0.873 and 0.015> 0.05 show positive signs, meaning a significant relationship exists between listening ability and articulation with Arabic language skills. This means the rise will follow increased listening and articulation ability variables in children's Arabic language skills. The calculation result of the coefficient of determination or R square value is 0.725. This implies that listening ability and articulation affect the Arabic language proficiency variable by 72.5%. Other variables might influence the remaining percentage.
